Idk if this is being directed at me or not because i don't really talk about June a lot but yeah I think thats fair but tbh I think a lot of mischaracterization comes from June being a really popular character + the way people read the comic

She is basically the face of Homestuck, and because of that people have like this specific idea of who she is as a character, some people still have the ideas of Naive June or the June from the old fandom in mind even when making new content.

There's also the issue of tone and interpretation, Homestuck is a really long webcomic who is mostly writted and with no voice, so people will all have different ways of reading the same character. Also some people read homestuck a looong time ago

Obviously this doesnt mean people can just write whatever the fuck they want but June can be really sneaky in the way she expresses, she is an asshole but like a loveable one type, the one where you don't really realize until you think about it

Like her calling Davesprite "not the real Dave" like thats a fucked up thing to say but because people have like an idea of her being naive and friendly they kind of just, forget about it or take her word for granted.

The same happens with Karkat and Dave, in that chat in the game over timeline, where Karkat says him and Gamzee broke up and then him and Dave proceed to make fun of his religion.

We know that they're both wrong, we know that Lord English exist. But most still ignore that dialogue, damn, people assume Gamzee was 100% guilty of the relationship between him and Karkat ending but we don't actually know what happen. Yes, Gamzee was in a bad relationship with Terezi so there's the possibility of him fucking up the one with Karkat, but Karkat has the same history of being a bad partner, we cant really take Karkat's word because he has been wrong before

hi. im so happy i can talk to people with my computer like this. i didn't know i could do that but now I can. It took me some time to find this place though.

a while back I sort of... died. it's hard to remember. It was kinda a long time ago, maybe ten years I think. But then I got teleported to this place with a radio. i flipped through some channels and after some time it teleported me to this other world. I decided to stay there because I didn't wanna lose it. The world was pretty nice. It had pretty trees and even some houses and a fountain.

But I was sort of lonely. There was no one besides mee and. I didn't like that.

There was also this.. computer.. it was a weird computer and kinda hard to control at the time but I figured it out. This computer eventually let me make a world and let me teleport people to here! I wanted to see people. There was no one around the forest where I lived so I didn't see anyone alive or dead in a looong time. So I teleported them to my small little world. they were so small but I was giant. It was kinda weird but it was funn!! seeing people like me just there on my little planet right next to me, moving and being tiny. So I teleported some more people.

they got kind of anxious and scared for some reason. so I just told them it was a competition. I thought it would be fun.! there were gonna be eliminations and challenges! And whoever won all the challenges they would be the winner! and anyone who lost would be eliminated.

so we moved on.. one of them would be eliminated soon because he lost the challenge. so I wanted to make the second challenge. I would make challenges by putting stuff I found around my own home on this little world I could control. It was like a globe.

but I accidentally threw a rock on all of them and they all died. At the time I didn't know how to respawn contestants sooooooo. yeah

more time passed. I wanted to learn more about how to make the contest better. because the last contest didn't go very well.

so after some time I spawned in the new contestants. some of them were from my past world. some of them were even from different dimensions!! I thought I did a pretty good job making that competition. I even made clouddss

but the contestants didn't really like me. one of the contestants died but I event respawned them. so I don't get why they were so upset.

after some time I accidentally slipped and fell and I took a break and let all the contestants rest on that planet. They all wanted to go back to earth for some reason. but I didn't want them to go... and also why did they want to go? I thought I made the competition fun..

so after some time idk how long, I got back. and continued the show. none of them wanted to win any more for some reason?.

after some more time passed one of the eliminated contestants somehow got to my home. he was pretty angry at me for some reason. said how I ruined all their lives and how I like stabbing babies? I thought it would be a fun game

I went to a walk. he followed me

he ,ater found my cassette player I lost some time ago. I wanted it. Ack bc it was really good noise. but he said he would only give me the cassette player if I teleported all the remaining contestants back to earth. but I could do that because. I didn't want to. but I ditll wanted that cassette player

later I walked back to my house where the computer was. he followed me and he accidentally slipped on the way and fell by a waterfall. he cried also idk why I think because his paper notes all got wet? I don't get it

we later talked

later I was on my computer again. I was planning another season of my show. because I knew that soon the game would end and I would be alone again. I picked some people that knew the contestants from the recent game because I thought they were all pretty good players

but the one guy who had my cassette player saw my plans of another season by looking at my computer and got pretty angry at me. then he tried killing me with an axe then he accidentally hit a tree with an axe and then broke his leg. I carried him to one of the houses and got him a cast. I don't understand why did he try to hit me? Did he want me to die? I was just planning to make a fun game nothing else

Later I went by the same waterfall he fell by and then I fell. But he fell in the water. I fell on the ground. And then I died

so I got sent to a place.

By the end of July 2023 I posted my first Kyoshi novels fanart and maybe one month earlier I started rebloging and commenting on posts from others, this was after I read the novels and I jumped into their fandom and then in the procces I've also got into tlok and atla (I enjoyed them way earlier but I just didn't participate in their fandoms)

Your favorite trope in fiction?

HMMMmmm Grumpy serious stoick ish x chaotic more fun (and other antonyms that matches first character idk) (whatever heituat has going on))), expressive women with strong personalities, girlfailures<3, severe stern ruthless etcetc women but caring deep down inside (optional), morally gray characters, and I'm just a little obssesed with mother daughter relationships in fiction if that counts as a trope

That might be well known idk, but sometimes for a video game character they'll hire one person as only just face model, and then differnt person as voice and acting/motion capture

Must feel weird and funny when you basically see yourself in video game doing stuff you didn't do speaking with a different voice

Now I don't really play video games myself but since I've watched Until Dawn gameplay yeaaaars ago I still like to watch playthroughts of those choice based horror games (the quarry, devil in me, resident evil etc), and later I watch other playthroughts for different choices outcomes scenes etcetccc, The games can be kinda stupid but fun, alsooo playthroughts of adventure games(???), I usually watch them when I eat something

Also CHECK OUT "STRAY"!! I only watched playthrought too but it looks so cool, you basically play as a cat (they did good job with motion capture, feels like real cat moves and it looks so fun to play) and you're in a world when humans no longer exist and there are cool looking robots, you can stratch walls and make robots pet you but I promise it's not just that lolol it has an actual plot and wordbuilding

Aside video games I like chess but I suck big time, but for my defence I mostly played with my friend who sucks even more aHA, we downlanded one chess app for two players and played during some classes

I think I'm just interested in 3d models and graphics hehhh I like 3d modeling

There's also a game called Hades, and this one I actually started playing myself, not the kind of games I'm usually into (roguelike),but friend got me it and! The character designs are very cool

The JE cheating allegations r just allegations bt Z has payed JE dust via social media (since those pics of them 1st came out on her bday) n i feel lik thats on purpose. Obviously social media isnt everything bt Z seems pretty supportive of her costars (esp via IG) she culdv just done a simple like on one of his posts bt hasnt. This is like a lot of rambling but!

I love the almost poetic, weird and gruesome like situation they are both in where its like they are each others perfect fit.

Both of them have shitty temperament that would be just unbearable to someone who is more normal/human.

When combined they even each other out. They are like equally horrid and shitty, but are different in like things that make it more entertaining for both of them, but maybe not the people they are about to slaughter or whatever.

From Daoist perspective the matchup is nice since there is an interesting balance of excess and deficiency that evens out when they work together. (idk i am not super deep into that, but i just think its neat) all the akatsuki pairs have that, seeming opposite philosophies that upon closer look is like “dam you guys are kinda the same”.

I talked about it on twi, but they both have a theme of “consuming” (i mean it like as a metaphor) those they are close with. So like Kakuzu killing his partners and taking their hearts for himself. Hidan being unable to form lasting social bonds with people because he must follow the Jashinist dogmas of “Kill thy neighbour” (interpretation is iffy but to Hidan it seems to be “i kill my friends”)

So in a sense to have someone who’s “nothing alike” themselves is beneficial. Kakuzu has no need to take Hidan’s anatomical heart (get it), it is useless to him (Hidan is heavily hinted to have weaker chakra, but his physical durability is an asset for Kakuzu’s fighting style). And then Hidan doesn’t want to kill Kakuzu because Kakuzu is a solution to his loneliness problem, if he’s immortal and can’t be killed, then surely he can be the one person he can rely on without breaking the rules of his religion. Also like the fact that Kakuzu has like a way of literally putting Hidan together by stitching him up is also a benefit for Hidan as well. I am sure deep down he appreciates it more than doing it himself, plus without Kakuzu Hidan would have been sealed away like looong ago.

And I think that like it relates to handholding and like more emotional intimacy over just sex, too. It’s why I like seeing and drawing “sweet” moments from time to time (i like fluff but i also want variety that these two have, im sure many ppl agree!) because im like “awww you guys can be vulnerable with each other🥺” since idk emotional vulnerability is like such a huge issue for both of them and lets be honest just people in general.

Kakuzu kind of gave up on being a human and sees himself as a monster, and Hidan uses his religion and all that comes with it to shield himself from emotions (referencing the panel where Hidan shows human emotion when Kakuzu’s mask “dies” catches himself and immediately says something shitty) idk i think u can kind of make a connection between emotional and physical pain and how it relates to masochism.

But yeah no it makes moments like this special bc it kinda lets u imagine a scenario where they both or just one of them either reached a point of growth or like their true feelings had a slip up happen during the heat of the moment and they acted out on impulse i think its cute!!

In my hc i think Kakuzu is pretty old-fashioned and more well-read and has like very COMPLEX feelings of weird fondess for Hidan…so i like drawing him getting all like bashful when Hidan is very direct and in his face and just Hidan makes Kakuzu do and say mushy shit too hehe.

I've seen people saying his death to Quackity was also canon, but then i think i remember a clip/tweet going around from one of the ccs saying that it wasn't (or maybe i made that bit up idk?)

And then there was that festival death but that's definitely not canon because it's been confirmed multiple times that Tubbo's death was the only one planned and therefore the only canon one

Also I've seen a couple posts saying his ban was treated like a canon death but idk about this one either cause in his first president speech he said something like 'and you know what i said, the day that i got unbanned from the Dream SMP..' which kinda implies he didn't die but was also banned in the lore universe as well (maybe like an exile? or something idk?)

So the confusion about the number of Schlatt's canon deaths started, I believe, because Game Theory YouTuber Matpat miscounted them in his video about the Dream SMP.

According to the Dream SMP Wiki, cc!Wilbur, and general consensus of the fandom, Schlatt lost his canon lives when:

Technoblade accidentally killed him during the Red Festival, in the blast from the rockets that killed Tubbo.

Quackity deliberately shot him after their argument about the White House being demolished.

He suffered a heart attack in the Camarvan, likely brought on by the alcohol abuse that has been a problem for him throughout the whole story.

In his video Matpat counted his first death at the Red Festival and his third death by heart attack as canon, but did not count his death at the hands of Quackity for some unknown reason. Matpat claimed Schlatt still had a canon life left.

Wilbur reacted on stream to the Game Theory video, and he was momentarily confused by this part. He confirmed that the Red Festival death and heart attack were canon, but went back through the script and realized that, coincidentally, he'd neglected to actually write down in the script that the death took one of Schlatt's canon lives. He questioned whether or not Schlatt could theoretically come back.

But the script is flexible and not the end-all-be-all of canon. If we want to argue that any death that is not explicitly planned or declared canon in writing doesn't count, that's simply not true. There are canon deaths in the story that happen off-script too, the most notable being the lives lost in The Final Conrol Room. Eret's betrayal wasn't in the script, it was a complete surprise to almost everyone. Even Wilbur was unaware that Eret had switched sides. So canon is mostly dictated by what has happened, not what should happen.

And current events support this idea. Schlatt's status as dead was made clearer in subsequent livestreams. He has since re-appeared as a ghost, and he's implied to be present in the afterlife with c!Wilbur. He's definitely dead. At least, for now.

As for cc!Schlatt coming back to the server, he seems like he's willing to do it. c!Schlatt has come back a few times as Glatt to hang out with the other people on a questionably canon level. But there has yet to be an official announcement that he's coming back as a regular member, which is why people are doing the if/when thing.

I think cc!Schlatt will have more fun this time if he chooses to come back, because The Egg seems to be the main antagonist this season. As the main bad guy, c!Schlatt was somewhat limited in what he was capable of doing narratively. He didn't have many opportunities to do goofy fun things like the protagonists and other members of the server, he was there to be evil and scary. Harder to maintain that image by building cuck shacks and laughing with friends. If he comes back as a minor antagonist or character with more freedom from the script, he'll be able to goof off more. So I hope he comes back! I look forward to seeing what kind of chaos he brings to the story :)

aaaa omg. thank you?? ok idk where to start so i'll just.. give you some bullet points maybe?? sdjjfksdf. pls take this with a grain of salt though, she's so so so new in my head and i rarely like to stick to anything during these times in development you feel? anyway here we goo!!:

- Her „real“ name is Azi‘reth (weird I know but demons got weird names :/), her “(supervillian/superhero” name is Envy!, and the name she uses around humans is “Salma Morales” (last name Morales is as a joke cuz she actually got no morals, haha get it?)

- She’s a demon!! And the daughter of chthon, he’s an elder god turned demon, considered the “god of chaos” he’s been trying to come back to earth several times after being stuck in his own realm, anyway he’s very old and mean and looks like this:

- Her faceclaim is renata guerra otoni and in her human form she has black hair with red tips & she always wears her signature red lipstick like in this picture!!

- As a demon she got wings and horns and her hair and eyes are red :^)

- She conjures demon blades and double wields them. In the modern times she’s also very fond of double wielding pistols though. During big battles she also conjures her two hellhounds grig’rir & bar’lum (she lovingly calls them riri & bari and treats them with chin scritches all the time. If anyone else would try to do that they would eat them though.). She can also possess people, and has her own form of dark & chaos magic! (not as strong as her dads by any means, but she got her own flavour to it!)

- Personality wise I imagine her to display some demon stereotypes (like being hedonistic, very sexy, very alluring, etc) but she’s also very intelligent, and prefers to plan things out in detail, which makes her stand out compared to some other of her fellow demon bros. She prefers to work and be alone. She likes poetry. She never reveals her secrets. She’s also very loyal, and capable of intense emotions (may it be bad ones, or later when she’s a bit more human, good ones.)

- She starts out as a villain

- A looong time ago, when Chthon was still walking around freely, she used to be his executioner, basically if demons would behave wrong or people would try to get out of their contracts they made with other demons, she would, you know :-) 🔪

- She’s known to trap her victims in her own realm, using her favourite sin against them (envy)

- From the outside those victims look like brainless unresponsive zombies, in her realm she knows everything her target want/envy and makes them interact with it, but not have it, until they grow so mad and angry that they start to 🔪 each other :) everybody that dies gets a permanent place in her hell though! yey

- At some point when witches in the early 20th century locked her power away and trapped her on earth, basically making her mortal. (I’m making her part of a comic plotline chthon has here for convenience).

- Character development time!!! She’s slowly starting to feel things now that she never has before. Like guilt. Or remorse. She’s thousands and thousands years old and behaving like a toddler because of it

- A big turning point then was her meeting my other marvel oc livia. Livia is a vanir goddess who likes to visit earth sometimes. And while she’s a goddess and very much doesn’t behave like normal people she’s probably the best person to nudge her into the right direction. They go on some adventures together that I’m still headcanoning wildly so I’ll be back when I know more lol!!

- She falls in love with bucky in 1943. When hydra captures him in 1945 she tries to save him (took out like 30 hydra soldiers even without her powers <3) but got captured too

- I imagine them and their technology and realise that she isn’t human? So they do some work on her, but all they manage is to break the curse that is keeping her powers at bay (thanks guys<3), and wipe most of her short time memory (for her that’s basically a couple hundred years)

- She escapes!!!!!! And continues to wreak havoc on earth as her regular villain self <3 the new feelings she has learned to feel don’t leave her though so she’s a lil bit of a mess sometimes. When Hydra wanted her back they used Bucky to capture her (they hoped that would lure her since they knew that’s why she came to them all those years ago). But that doesn’t work, cuz she doesn’t remember him :( and at some point they had to drag him out of the fight or there wouldn’t have been much left of him

- Fast forwarding now!! I haven’t decided yet on when or why or how she becomes a #hero, or when she meets bucky again, or how they remember each other again, but all I know its gonna be dramatic :D im thinking maybe endgame times, or post tfatws? hmmm

ok so i mentioned it briefly here in this ask. so basically, he's a classmate of mine in high school and i met him freshman year where i was a transferee. one thing that i could describe him as was that he's really vv funny. the kind of funny that could crack me up just with one line from him. and he's good, like waaaay good, in playing the guitar. so hmm freshman year we're really just hanging out, playing and exchanging stories together since he's close friend of my best friend. and he somehow ended up sitting right behind me so we always greet each other good mornings and goodbyes. we eat snacks and lunch together. everything was good!! UNTIL!! the summer of that school year happened, when he told me he liked me. YOUR GIRL WAS SPEECHLESS BRUH COZ...it didn't even cross my mind that he would see me like that coz i was never the best looking in our friend group (tho i do have my charms. jelly stop downplaying yourself 2020. 👌🏽) but he said he was serious!! and that he'll prove to me that he is!!

then sophomore year came and that was when he became vvv bold in showing me he likes me. i would always catch him staring, coz he wasn't being discreet about it. he'd always bring an extra umbrella for me (bec. i am one forgetful lass and i never bring umbrellas back in hs), he'd tell me i look pretty, did not deny that he liked me when asked by our classmates and teachers. he was bold in showing his affection. and i know that he's a nice guy. vvv nice. he makes me laugh, he always makes me smile. i like it when he's beside me and my heart flutters when he does anything remotely cute or romantic to me. so i know i'm already falling for him as well. big time.

BUT!!!! here comes the but!!!

we were vvv young at the time. like 14?? 15?? and i was on top of my class, my parents always told me not to focus on boys at the time coz i'm still young. so to cut the story short, my parents does not want me to be in a relationship. at all. and a short intro as to how i was as a teenager: i never break rules. i don't do things that make my parents angry because i am afraid of being reprimanded. so at the time, it was stuck on my mind that no. i can't. we can't. and little by little, that showed in my actions and with how i react to the things he does. i always say no when he asks me out. i don't answer when my classmates and my teachers tease me about him. eventually he caught on. then one afternoon after class, we were on the same spot on the rooftop. and he asked me if it's really impossible — me and him. he told me if i want him to stop, he will.

and bb. when i tell you that was the moment in my life i wanted sooo bad to break all the rules and just tell him the truth. tell him i don't want him to stop. tell him i like him too. coz if i'd risk it all, i would rather risk it all for him....but i was young. and i didn't want to upset my parents. and so i told him yes, he can stop. and wow. his face when he answered, "yeah, i understand." and then he went ahead. suddenly i was left all alone on the rooftop, sun setting, as i felt that painful sensation of something tearing inside me for the first time. my first heart break.

junior year and senior year was even worse coz i had to watch him drift farther and farther away from me. which i understand because he needed to protect himself too. he wants to get over me but we see each other every day, so what he does is talk to me less and less each day. until during senior year, he only talks to me when he needs to. it was sooo painful for the young me. coz i still loved him. loved him like how i did sophomore year. and there i was, crying over my broken heart caused by no one but me.

graduation came and we were all tears and snot. remembering the best four years of our lives. and we were hugging each other one by one. then suddenly i saw him in front of me and realized that may be the last time i'll ever get to see him for a long, long, time. i don't remember who went in for the hug first, and tbh I don't think it's important. i just remember hugging him tight, crying, unspoken words and all. and then just when i was about ti let go, i heard him wish me well, and by the end of it i heard him say he loves me. and that it never changed. AND RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT I WAS THINKING what is there to lose? it's a goodbye hug. so i risked it all and told him i love him too. those were the last words we've ever said to each other.

i've never seen him again ever since. given that i was always away for uni and he was also in a different city following his dreams. so yeah. we never really saw each other after that. which is reaally funny bec. we live in the same city. and even our friends from high school always say it's bizzare how we never saw each other after graduation. but yeah. he'll always be my totga (the one that got away) haha. he'll remain as a vvv beautiful memory.

Unnecessary Long Post About My Crush

okay since one person wants to know about my crush, you all get to read it [:

I will be referring to him as “My Dude”. The story is a lil complicated so lemme break it down:

How I Know My Dude: (Know is a loose term, but i’ll explain.) I started my first semester at my current college this past August. I work on campus in the Intercultural Center, and half of my job is putting on a ton of events at the school. I kept seeing glimpses My Dude at these events, either him putting up sound equipment or playing piano in his little jazz trio (our school has super good jazz programs). I asked my boss a little bit about him and she told me his name, and that he’s not actually a student anymore, but works as a “sound technician” at the school. But he’s young enough to have recently graduated from a 2-year. 

Soooo here’s the deal: First of all, he’s handsome, classy, pretty, hot, and somewhat looks like a stoner all in one lolol. He’s tall, has looong dirty blonde hair and brown eyes (my fave combo) and HE HAS GOOD STYLE. But not obnoxiously good style, just good enough that I know he can dress decently well. He also wears all kinds of different converse and when the jazz department does fancy stuff he wears a fitted tux with these maroon high top converse and if that’s not the CUTEST THING EVER...

The music thing is also a HUGE deal. I grew up playing tons of instruments, I’ve played cello for 10 years, guitar for 9, I sing, etc. Music is my BIGGEST passion, and watching My Dude play is like a trip bc he is insanely talented and passionate. It’s really important to me that he loves music just as much as I do. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. He also plays guitar, and saxophone, and the FUCKING ORGAN LIKE WHAT THE FUCK, and he has toooons of recording stuff like he’s really into it guys. He also has a jazz trio and plays at a lounge downtown every weekend like a badass. 

There’s a problem though: It’s December and I’VE NEVER SAID A WORD TO THIS MAN. We see each other ALL THE TIME. He KNOWS I exist. We make toooons of eye contact, I’ve talked to his friends before, but i’ve also heard he’s very reserved so maybe he’s just shy about talking to girls like I am with guys? Idk?? A dilemma you might say??

I’m studying Music Tech/Production and my specific classes start in January, and the Jazz director asked me to play cello in one of his ensembles, so I’ll 100% be seeing My Dude even more next semester. 

It’s weird because I’ve never talked to him, but I’ve seen him so much and learned things from other people that I’ve just picked up things about him. And I’ve seen him interact and how he acts and what not. I’ve honestly never liked someone this much and i can FEEL the tension between us.

**bonus note: we had a guest speaker/photographer who came to our school a couple months ago and my department hosted him. he took pictures of the famous jazz musicians in my city from the 80s-2000s and won a Pulitzer for it, and he donated his pictures to the Jazz department. Wellll on Friday, my boss wanted me and someone else to get the pictures from the Jazz office so we could hang them somewhere, and as we were getting them out of a closet My Dude came and stood RIGHT NEXT TO ME THE WHOLE TIME. Netiher of us looked at each other or said anything but YOU CAN FEEL THE TENSION.
