The ask prompts ask number who knows what I’ve already lost count:
victor and henry sr bonding as mortals in a magical family
Pairing: Victor Bennett & Henry Mitchell
Background Pairing: Paige Matthews/Henry Mitchell, Victor Bennett & Paige Matthews
Walking into the living room, Victor immediately realized what the problem was. Henry had his face buried in his hands and was perfectly still, a posture that Victor more than recognized from his early years.
Settling into the armchair opposite of his son-in-law, Victor waited. Henry finally looked up, something wild in his eyes.
"I traveled to the future."
Okay, so that one wasn't exactly in Victor's expertise. He'd seen the effects of time travel a few times: a time loop tormenting his daughter, his grandson making a desperate bid to save his family and world, and even his dead ex-wife visiting him. He'd never once gotten caught in any of that himself, however, which was probably preferable. While his daughters and grandchildren had (would?) knew the dangers of meddling in time, Victor had a list of regrets that he knew he'd never be able to resist fixing if given the opportunity. Being there for his daughters. Sparing them the trauma of demons preying on their trust and betraying them. Finding Paige two decades earlier. Saving Patty and Prue from dying so young.
Unaware of Victor's thoughts, Henry continued, "Paige and I were talking about raising kids with magic, and Wyatt-"
"Sent you to the future to see what it'd be like," Victor finished. Piper had warned him about being careful what he said in front of his oldest grandson until Wyatt was old enough to better understand his powers. He hadn't gotten the full details of the problems that'd caused, but he knew it'd happened more than once.
Henry nodded and rasped out, "We had twins. Charlotte and Penny. One of them moved all of our living furniture with her mind. The other one accidentally cheated on her science test by seeing the answers in a vision."
Henry buried his face in his hands again and mumbled, "I don't know how to do this."
Victor shuffled over and patted Henry on the back. "Magic is... not easy to deal with. You'll never fully understand it and never fully be a part of this world. Some people can handle that. Some people can't."
If he'd known before he'd married Patty, he doesn't know if he'd had gone through with it. Magic was... terrifying. He had no way of protecting his family, could only watch and hope that they'd be able to save themselves. But life without his girls, even with magic, was one that he didn't want to imagine.
"I love Paige," Henry argued, lifting his head. "It's not just the magic. I'm not- I grew up in the system, I don't-"
That was something that he had more experience with. Well. More of a "what not to do" type of experience. "Parenting is hard. Parenting witches is even harder, especially as a mortal. Now, I didn't do that great of a job of it, but you're not the person I was. More than anything, the thing is being there. You'll make mistakes. There's no getting around it, but being there and trying to fix them are the most important part of being a parent. And from what my girls have told me, including Paige, you're not the type to run when it gets hard, Henry."
Henry had a faint smile as he met Victor's gaze. "Not when it comes to Paige. I love her."
"Is that so?" Paige leaned against the doorway as both men turned to look at her. She smiled, eyes soft. "Good thing I love you, too."
She held her hand out to her husband. "Wyatt wanted to apologize for the magical journey, and I think Phoebe wanted to pry some future information out of you."
Henry rose and took her head with a wry shake of his head. "I don't know if that's how it works."
"I'll distract her for you two," Victor promised. He needed to go find his third daughter anyways, find out about this Coop fellow.

when i say a hole in her life i don't mean that as her parents being inadequate or her not loving them she clearly loves them and when interacting with penny she has a hard time seeing her as her grandmother because she grew up with grandparents and penny is a stranger to her at first and getting close to her feels like a betrayal of the grandparents she did have.
but it's not as though meeting patty meant nothing to her like something didn't click then. it's about knowing her origins getting answers as to why she was abandoned. that she was taken in and loved doesn't negate the fact that out there there were two people who had her and didn't want her and she didn't know why. obviously that's not what happened but paige didn't know that for half her life i think it's pretty reasonable to think that would affect her
Obviously meeting Patty wouldn't have meant nothing to Paige, but I don't agree with the interpretation that Paige was affected that deeply by being given up for adoption. As I've said before, I'm an adopted child myself and this fact has never really affected me or left me with any deep longing or issues. And while obviously every adopted kid is different, media portrayals of adoption do tend to lean more towards the dramatic, so I am always happy when a show doesn't lean into that, and Charmed never did. Paige was a happy adopted kid with the natural curiosity about her biological parents but no deeper issues, at least IMO.
otherwise that makes her lashing out to her adoptive parents for no reason when she a teen senseless and cruel because there's a teen can rebel without being dismissive and callous to the people around them the way paige was and if she wasn't hurting and taking it out on them because she couldn't handle her pain then she's just a bratty ass of a teenage girl and that's far less interesting to me.
And that's fine and your interpretation is valid, it's just not one I share :) Especially since Paige herself never really alludes to that being the reason behind her rebellion.
dk as someone who also watched btvs there's a distinct difference between dawn's attitude before knowing she's the key and after. before she's just a bit a bratty teenage and afterwards she starts doing a bunch of reckless shit that endangers her life, she betrays people who love her (stealing from giles's shop) and before she's just mouthy and defiant. she's rebelling too except one is just being a normal teen and the other is a traumatized girl lashing out
Kind of a different circumstance here, plus Paige always knew she was adopted, so there was never any pre/post issues like there were with Dawn pre/post Key revelation.
and if either paige or phoebe was supposed to be read as just a normal teen girl rebelling for kicks then why all these flashback episodes like i've been told these girls were rebellious why the show and tell unless it's to explore the why's and how's of it all?
To be fair, we only got one flashback ep each per girl, neither of which really explored the reasons behind their rebellion. As fans we can fill in the blanks, which you have, but this means we'll all end up with different interpretations. Again, which is fine!
perhaps prue got to sacrifice more than piper but prue settled into a protector role and piper a caretaker role that she resented in adulthood and she was also expected to play mediator between phoebe and prue. the pilot opens and you can tell she's resigned to it. if patty had lived and victor had stayed prue wouldn't have had to fill anyone's shoes and her relationship with phoebe would have been a regular sisterly bond but she didn't get to and piper had to be the bridge between them
I get the feeling Piper always would have been a bridge between Phoebe and Prue, regardless of circumstances, because she's the middle child and she can mediate the others' more fiery personalities.

Because it's late and I'm bored, Charmed for the Top 3 Fandom Ask Game if you're still doing it??? Lol (I'm a little late but still... hehehe)
Since I baaarely got asks for it, no no you are not too late! I'm happy to answer :) And yaaay, Charmed!
3 male characters I love: damn there aren't many dudes in this. I mean, considering how long the show ran, there aren't all that many significant characters in general, surprisingly enough. But mmmh. Number one, obviously and without question, Cole. Number two, I guess I'm inclined to Leo yeah. He's a good boy. And three would be a tie between Andy and Darryl I love them both
3 female characters I love: oh that's an easy one, to be honest! PHOEBE, top spot, unquestionable. Prue, second favorite sister, I adore her. And third would be Piper. Sorry, Paige, in a top three ask, you can't make the cut...
3 romantic ships I love: Aaah very easy one!!! COLE/PHOEBE ALL THE WAY. One of my top OTPs. Andy/Prue, I love them so much. And third would be Leo/Piper, which is also a top tier ship. Again, sorry, Paige, you and Henry on fourth place got cut off :/
3 platonic dynamics I love: Well now, that one's harder. First of all, the OG Charmed Ones, Prue-Phoebe-Piper. Obviously. Second one, the second Charmed Ones, Phoebe-Piper-Paige. And third one, mh, Darryl and the Halliwell sisters. But, again, so few characters, kinda baffling, I was always disappointed that they didn't make some significant witch friends, they only tried the local coven once and it ended with a lot of murder
3 favorite moments in canon: Mmmh that's a tough one, it's been a hot minute since I watched the show. Definitely the Prue-Cole team-up in cowboy town, I loved that and I felt like it brought them closer. Time-travel apple-picking, because Cole watching Phoebe's true love's first letter was bloody adorable. And thiiird, the season 7 finale with how the door closed itself like Prue had don it? I always loved that as an ending and I really think the show should have stopped there
3 favorite headcanons: Confession: I have a whole family tree mapped out for them for like five generations down the road. But favorite, that Phoebe and Cole's son lives, and his name is Parker Benjamin and he gets to grow up with his cousins. I also, as a kid already, had this headcanon that if Prue lived and they still met Paige, then they would unlock some secret four-sister-power that would enable each of them to control one element and they'd become powerful elemental witches. I stand by that and ignore comic continuation canon bullshit fully, fyi. Third one, mh, I always thought it'd be cute if Melinda ended up marrying Darryl's youngest son Michael, because then the Morris family would be part of their family and Melinda and Michael Morris would start their own naming tradition of M first names
3 least favorite things about it: THE FACT THAT COLE DIED INSTEAD OF STAYING GOOD AND HIM AND PHOEBE COULD HAVE HAD EVERYTHING, GODS DAMN IT. Also, the death of Prue - I know, I know, it was all ~behind the scenes~ stuff that drove it, but gods damn it, I loved Prue. The lack of platonic relationships to other witches. I really do love the focus on the Halliwell-sisters, but I wish they'd gotten... friends. Local other witches that have recurring roles.

imo, the show was often unilaterally focused on Piper, but only on what she could do for others (Piper the wife and Piper the mother) rather than who she was as a person. Piper's individual characterization was lost sometime around s5 as soon as she got pregnant, and being a mother and wife pretty much became her sole defining characteristic for the rest of the series. I would be very interested to hear what you define as Piper's mental issues/trauma, bc as you say it doesn't get said enough
this has been in my inbox forever and i’m just getting around to it so my apologies.
but okay. so. yes. i think a lot of tv shows fall into this weird place where like. all of their characters begin with these kinda vague personalities because you’re just getting to know them. and as the show goes on, you pick up more pieces and stuff . and that’s great. that’s interesting and entertaining and it takes you on a journey and all. but often what happens is many shows fall into this pit where writers either get lazy, they change, or whatever, and the actors are tired of playing the part or whatever . and like. the characters become like. caricatures of themselves. and it just gets exhausting to watch because they’re not like. real people anymore.
Piper's individual characterization
so now for the charmed thing. so from the beginning. i have loved piper. like she’s the middle sister, overlooked, quiet, reserved, pessimistic but also realistic, gentle, thoughtful, all that. we see right away that she loves to cook .. she’s so happy her family is back together. she kept in touch with phoebe behind prue’s back. but she’s loyal to the both of them. her first idea was to have a reunion dinner when phoebe came home. she’s literally so cute n she deserves a hug. but no like. as we go on, we see that she wants to be good, she wants a stable life with no more loss, she Loves Love !! like. she wants to just be happy , open her own restaurant n just cook. she’s also so shy .. definitely panicky and anxious. and she doesn’t trust herself. she’s skeptical of everything, and she’s very thoughtful when it comes to big situations. even in the early days with leo and into season 2, she mentioned a few things about like “i’ve been thinking a lot about this...” and you can see she’s good at communicating with people. she’s also got these other dimensions to her like . she is interested in lots of cuisine types, she loves to read (and is a camus fan !!) , she drives a jeep (which i wanna know how she got bc i have questions), when she found out she was a witch her first thought was just . i need to go and see if i am still a good person . and she went to church. prue was surprised to learn that piper enjoys knitting. in the early seasons (especially mid-late season 3) we saw her with her plants and all. she’s just this natural peacekeeper. but like. we literally got a crying scene in the second episode because she was so conflicted about this. and she’s such a deep and complex character that i fell in love with so fast . and like . literally my favourite fictional character to exist . genuinely holly breathed so much life into piper . anyway . so. here’s the thing.
being a mother and wife pretty much became her sole defining characteristic for the rest of the series
like. piper was who i described above. and like . i kinda think . a bit. that like . the writers . especially in s4 . were like . hmm well  . she’s just lost prue, she’s gonna be grieving . and like we need more for her. so. she’s been married to leo for the better part of a year, been with him for like . 3 years. so. let’s maybe consider giving them a kid but not just yet . just Content kinda stuff. so anyway they drop little hints in here and there starting in like . 4x07 i think? which . brain drain really paid the rent . fully just. holly did so well. but like. that ep was just. a neat way of looking into her mind and seeing the horrors of manipulation and gaslighting and everything . and of course holly knocked it out of the park. but at that point, they were kinda like . hmm . kids ? and they started toying with the idea, having piper and leo consider it, talk about it, they had paige and phoebe ask about it , all of that good stuff. as you do. made for some funny tv at some points. and like . i really, really Get It . when piper’s like . ahh the baby wouldn’t be safe around here !!!! like. Girl, Valid . your sister just died and like . you went on forever about how she was The Most Powerful One . The Strongest One . and yet she still died . so she’s like ??? am i next ?? and like obv it doesn’t make sense for her to jump on this train of like . i’m gonna have a kid !!!! so she’s really valid in her thought process there. and like. after having wyatt . i think the writers really . idk. couldn’t do waaay too much with her character anymore because i feel like . to an extent, anything she does will be scrutinized bc i’m not just . saying this . i rlly feel like sometimes piper’s the easiest to hate. like idk why but i loved her. but anyway. if she stays at home with wyatt and doesn’t wanna fight demons n all . then she’s selfish towards her sisters n she’s awful n prue wouldn’t have let her do that !!!! etc . but if she fought demons it’s like . uh sweetie you have a child . really ??? why put yourself in a situation that might have you ending up like patty 2.0 ... bc i could do a Whole post on how patty’s situation messed piper up the most. but anyway.
it’s the way i’m fully rambling so if you’re reading this . i love you . anyway okay . so . i think in a tv show you’ve gotta kinda check boxes. the best tv shows have characters you see yourself in . you relate to them. you hear them and understand their decisions and actions and thoughts. the things they do just makes sense 2 you. so like. with prue, anyone married to their job could relate to her. any oldest sibling could see themselves in her, you know ? she was hard-working, committed, logical, protective. and with phoebe, anyone who couldn’t “settle down” in their early 20s related 2 her, anyone who felt like the outcast of the family, the “screw-up” .. right. makes sense. she was so kind, caring, had-your-back kinda girl. we all love those. paige was like . the new kid, trying to fit in, creative, curious, and definitely a lifelong learner. and then there’s piper who was shy, resistant, really just wanted to be normal. and loved. and i think everyone could kinda identify with at least one of the sisters regardless of where you stood in your own family. so as the show went on, it’s like . they still want you to keep watching and keep being able to identify with them because it’s not like they’re humans with normal lives so they’ve already kinda lowkey got that going against them . so their more “human” and normal lives... we’ve gotta be able to identify with them to be able to invest time. so they had prue always working, having trouble balancing love and work, looking out for her family. we had phoebe kinda living her life, getting her career going, then kinda wanting a family. we had paige learning magic and being super interested and involved and then getting married. and we had piper who had her career pretty early on, got married, and had kids. like. i think the big thing is the marriage and kids. and when you’re a mother . the only mother really in the show, the show lowkey centres around you . like. for starters, the show usually is in the manor, and if you’re a mother, you’re very likely at home, esp with young kids. so i think that alone kinda was like . huh yeah . won’t see piper out waaay too much anymore i guess !!! but no like . there’s That. that’s kinda. the thing that really can’t change with the show . like. piper’s got kids now and a husband and very, very likely . her life will be centred around her home. which. listen she’s wanted that i think - the stability . she’s wanted that forever. and this is the form it came in. but i should stop rambling here and cut to the point .
Piper's mental issues/trauma
disclaimer: i’m not diagnosing her, i’m just speculating based off of my own experiences with mental health
so. okay. very early on. we saw that anxiety. like. yes . she was nervous about like a whole new life experience . or whatever we’re gonna call it when you figure out you’re a witch . but like she was Anxious . like. crying in the attic over being a bad person . needing phoebe to talk her down by telling her she’s such a caring person, she’s always doing things for other people . and then there’s the whole anxiety that comes with. my family’s falling apart because my sisters are fighting so i use really awkward methods of getting out of things . like using humour as a coping mechanism !!! which. gave us some iconic one-liners. but that’s beside the point . anyway. point is. early on, that anxiety was there. there’s an ep in season 1 where she’s literally entering a panic attack in her kitchen and phoebe’s using a menu to cool her down. like. Yikes! and then she’s just. her awkward self around everyone but that’s endearing and is just part of her personality . and i think a lot of the anxiety stemmed from childhood. we heard a few times about how prue and phoebe had boyfriends growing up, were always pretty and popular and all. phoebe was popular, too, just, in the other crowd. but nonetheless, piper faded into the background, doing well in math - well enough to go off and be a banker . and like. she sacrificed a lot for grams. she stayed in san francisco ... we all know the girl had the marks for stanford or something . like. though . still, i think she liked the stability of home and prob would’ve stayed . but in 3x17 she’s all !!! grams !!! the doctor said no caffeine !!! and when grams was taking the pic of them outside and she had an episode , piper was all !!!! shallow breaths !!! like. it was clear piper was the one taking her to the appointments and footing the bill. like. she literally became a banker just bc it had benefits n stuff. like. poor girl really thought . anyway that’s a whole spiral. but no. like she really sacrificed The Most for her family and everyone still thought she was selfish for wanting to move out . when like back then grams was literally ... sick ... and prue was out here moving out and phoebe was nowhere to be found . so. that . definitely would have added to her anxiety about even wanting to do anything for herself because she’ll be perceived as selfish in a heartbeat. even if it’s not Mean . it’s just. she’d never risk it. but there’s the anxiety. there are a few lil things here n there about how she gets nervous n stuff, she represses things (3x07 i think was where phoebe said piper represses her anger n just sucks it up n does whatever) . she literally cancelled her doctor’s appointment Twice . anyway. it still angers me. then in season 7 . patty and victor were like . oh she had night terrors that were so bad we took her to the doctor ! and i just ... honey . baby. she thought she caused the divorce. at 4? 5? she watched victor leave on her 5th birthday, watched a demon attack her, grams, and victor. prue said she didn’t cry at patty’s funeral and i’ll make a safe bet that piper did. and i think growing up without patty was strange for sure. prue had more memories and phoebe had none. and piper had fragments of this person everyone loved . and she was stuck between knowing her and not knowing her. and when patty was sent to her for her wedding day, (as well as in 1x17) . both times when patty hugged them . prue and phoebe hugged her, eyes closed n all. while piper was on the outside, eyes open . looking numb as all hell . and you know. i rlly think she was Giving Them That because phoebe didn’t get her and prue kinda . in a way. lost more of her . if that makes sense ?? and i just. patty really was like . they sent me to You. and 5 seconds later . piper’s like . they sent mom to Us !!! and it’s that idea of sacrifice and never having anything for yourself because she was never just . given anything for herself . everything in her life has been a sacrifice and as a mother, that’s perpetuated. she can assume that role with more of a purpose . like. people won’t really feel sorry for her now as the “forgotten” sister, they won’t try and coddle her or anything. and another thing. control. piper craved stability and control. i think while cooking was something she loved, it also gave her a lot of control . she could control her whole kitchen . even in season 8 .. maybe vaya con leos actually . leo mentioned how much piper craves control. and the control motif makes sense with her powers too. like. piper craved control so much that her powers allowed her to control things down to the atom. so there’s the whole anxiety and needing to control things to ease her anxiety and all. there’s That whole thing.
and then we get to the infamous season 5 fearless spell . ms girl really sat in the attic just writing everything on the wall and it’s the way i screenshotted it and like . zoomed in and tried deciphering it . and like . there’s words like “stop” and i think “sister” is in there a few times, so is “loss” or “lost”. when i watch it next i’ll grab a cap because it’s . disturbing. girl was so scared . literally was writing a spell to get rid of her fears . she also writes Fear . as in. capital F . and like. yeah that’s deep but i do it too like i emphasize words with a capital letter . and like holly marie combs might just have quirky n fun writing but like ... capital F . for Fear. for real . that’s . trauma !!! and she also was having panic attacks at the beginning of season 5. let’s not forget those. which ... we should’ve gotten more of an explanation for . i hope that girl is getting help bc she was Going Through It . and in season 7 when zankou reads her diary . firstly. we Knew this girl kept a diary like . for Sure . she did. and just that little excerpt of when prue died . oops. i’d pay big money to see the rest because again i just think she’s got such a complex mind and like. i’d be so interested to read that. and i think everything re: prue is just Awful for her. like . idk if this is just something quirky i noticed but obv we know prue died in may 2001 . but at the end of 4x03, when piper goes 2 paige’s work 2 bring her muffins !! soft !!! the calendar on one of the desks reads july 2001 ... and i really just. ms girl. i Know they prob just filmed the ep in july but it honestly tracks that she’d be so awfully upset about everything and just . barely able to do anything but cook . for 2 months. like. honey. baby. i wanted 2 just cuddle her bc she was so sad. and like. she tells paige she’s having “good hours” and “not so good hours” . she’s going by the Hour . by the Hour . just. need i say more . i’m so . but no like. if anything like i could see her having like . depression where she’s high-functioning and like just . walking depression i guess ?? like . not even after prue. i think in general. like . she definitely has a melancholic temperament and a type 6 enneagram (the skeptic). that’s For Sure . but i think. just. she’s always just had time to think bc she’s always alone, reading, knitting, cooking, tending to her plants, all that. and i just . think. she has issues. and i think prue knew that. of all people. and i think her knowing that . and then dying. destroyed piper. she lost the last person that was truly a constant in her life . like they shared a roof over their heads forever. and then she was just . gone . and piper was suddenly left to pick up the pieces . and become the oldest sister . and i’m So glad she didn’t fully assume her personality. i’m glad she stayed as piper . just. she’s more cynical and snarky and defensive and cold and that’s okay. she’s hurting. she’s always gonna hurt . and i think it makes her human . she’s pessimistic and sad and has a short fuse at times . but just. again. i love her to bits and i think those issues make her more relatable for me. because while many like to say she became selfish and a negative person and just . awful to be around . i’d say the opposite . i won’t sit and apologize or justify things. also i don’t think piper’s done anything wrong . i just think she’s hurt. she’s been wronged so many times. and she’s .... scared. i think she’s scared . and in season 5 “sympathy for the demon” we learn her true biggest fear is her happiness being stolen away. and like . it’s not that she’s scared she won’t be happy. she’s scared all of the good she’s got will be taken from her . and that’s . terrifying . so . i see why she’s so snarky and bitter and tired and all . she’s terrified of things being taken from her like they have been her whole life. and as i watch the show i really like to just keep that in mind as i get further and further in because yes. she did become a mother and a wife and we saw her arguing with leo a lot and their marriage falling apart and That Whole Era . we saw how it kind of took over her life but i think it happens . i think she even said at one point . i’ve been so many things to so many people, i don’t know who i am anymore . and i think it sums her up perfectly. she doesn’t know who she is because she’s someone to everyone . she’s just. nobody to herself except this scared little girl who just wants Something . Anything . to make sense . some Stability . and her babies, her husband, and her sisters . are all she has for that idea of stability to make sense in her mind. and it was an easy hole to fall into - the Mother - but i think she jumped in. because at the Very Least . nobody could take that title away from her . regardless of how hard they tried .

William: “YOU, DON’T RUN ME WOMEN!”
(The two argued back and forwards with each other.)
(Miss. Alford stormed off, leaving the dazed but drunk William there with Elosie, who happens to have overheard the whole argument.)

William: “Quiet N***er!”

(Chris, Henry Jr., and Hayley are chatting among each other)
Henry Jr.: “So you’re telling me, Wyatt tried to kill you?”
Hayley: “Like, kill – kill you?”
Chris: “Yea, he actually did.” *looks over to Wyatt* “I can’t stand him sometimes, but he’s my brother, and I still love him.”
Melinda: *reads Wyatt’s mind* “He’s thinking the same thing Chris.”
Chris: “Didn’t mom tell you stop reading people mind?”
Henry Jr.: “Yo, you can read minds Mel?” “That’s sick!”
Hayley: “Neither me nor Henry didn’t come into our powers till we were 10-years-old!”
Henry Jr.: “You’re like 2, right?”
Melinda: *gives Henry Jr. a dirty look. * “Just because my birthday is on a Leap Day, doesn’t mean I’m 2-years-old stupid!”
(Chris and Hayley laughs at Melinda’s clapback at Henry Jr.)
[Scene: Still in Magic school, but with Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Wyatt, and Leo.]
(Wyatt sitting alone from the rest of the kids.)
(Paige orbs in with Piper and Phoebe)
Piper: “Wyatt Matthews Halliwell, get your butt over here now, mister!”
(Wyatt walks over slowly.)
(Wyatt approaches Piper with his head slumped down.)
Piper: “You sir, have gotten out of hand!”  “You used magic in public, that one!” “You used magic on your father, that two!” “You used magic-”
(Leo steps in and cuts Piper off.)
Leo: “Piper, let him catch a break”
Piper: *exhale* “You’re grounded, for 2 weeks!” “No magic, no video games, no hanging out afterschool for anything!”
Wyatt: “But Chris u-”
Piper: “Don’t you BUT me mister!” “I mean it!”
(Piper starts chanting)
Piper: “I don’t think he comprehend.”
“He uses magic to depend”
“Child lock them for two weeks, till then”
(White orbs form centers around Wyatt.)
(The orbs shift into a form of a lock and magically goes into Wyatt.)
Piper: “When I meant no magic, I meant it.”
(Wyatt walks away.)
Phoebe: “Piper sweetie, I don’t think that was a smart idea.”
Piper: “Whenever that” *points to Phoebe’s pregnant stomach* “comes into his powers, then you can do whatever you want to do with him and his powers.”
Paige: “Uhm, I have kids.” “Matter-of-fact, they developed powers similar to yours Piper.” “Honey, I feel like you did the wrong thing.”
(Piper sits down in a chair.)
(She fixes her long-layered bangs and crosses her legs.)
Piper: “What's done is done.” “I didn’t strip him of his powers, I just put a child lock on them so he can’t use them freely.”
[Scene: Still in Magic school, cuts back to Chris, Henry Jr, Hayley, and Melinda.]
(Chris, Henry Jr, Hayley, and Melinda are still chatting among each other.)
(Wyatt walks over.)
Wyatt: “Chris, can I talk to you?”
Chris: “Yes.”
(Chris and Wyatt walk over to the side from everyone else.)
Wyatt: “You know, I never had the attendance to harm you.” “I never should have used magic on you in the first place.”
Chris: “I never should have cut you off or be an asshole to you, or even st-.”
Wyatt: “Stop it Chris.” “I was in the wrong also.” “For god shakes, I almost killed you!”
Chris: “Can we agree, not to kill each other?”
Wyatt: “I can’t make any promises.” *laughs*
(Wyatt and Chris hug.)
Henry: “Ok kids, it’s time to go to school go to bed.”
(Every child heads to a room to sleep.)
(Henry Jr puts up a biker with Henry.)
Henry Jr.: “But dad, its Friday?”
Henry: “Bed, now Jr.”
Henry Jr.: “Fine!”
(Henry Jr. walks to bed.)
[Scene: September23rd, 2017 – 8:25 am In the Underworld with Prue.]
(Prue is now out of her outfit that was covered in dust “death outfit”.)
(She is now wearing a sheer-black tank top, black high waisted pants, and Yuko-40 platform heels.)
(Prue is sitting at The Source’s throne.)
(Demon shimmers into the underworld.)
Demon with shimmering power: “Prue Halliwell.” “What the hell are you doing here?”
Prue: “Haven’t you heard,” (hopes down from the throne.) “I’m here to run this place.” *flips hair* “And you are?”
Zygon: “Zygon.” “I’ve heard about you.”
Prue: “Ahh, do tell.”
(Zygon walks up to Prue.)
Zygon: *walking circles around Prue* “The Charmed One.” “The Power of Three.” “A trio, well quartet, of sister witches.” “Destined to serve the good and good only.”
Prue: *nods her head* “Stop.” “For starts,” *flips hair* “I’m not a good witch.” “I don’t do good.”
Zygon: “Oh, Honey, do you even remember yourself?” “You’re one of them.” “But something is different about you.”
(Zygon stare into Prue’s eyes.)
Zygon: “You’re newly empowered.”
Prue: “What does that even means?”
Zygon: *still circling walking around Prue* “The Window of Opportunity, my dear.”
“Prue: “What does that mean?”
Zyon: “You, can easily be persuaded to be either good or evil.” “By the looks of it, you’re already chosen that path.”
(Prue folds her arms.)
Prue: “I got to get my hands on that book.”
Zygon: “What book.” “Are you referring to The Grimoire?”
Prue: *little smirk*“No, stupid” “It’s this book, that I keep having flashes about.” “Ritch-violet, red cover, with the named engraved into it, kind of on the smaller side.”
Zygon: “Never heard of it.”
Prue: “Maybe those women who called me their ‘sisters’ have it.”
Zygon: “Might I say, I could be some help.”
(Prue uses telekinesis tosses Zygon into a wall.)
(Prue then uses telekinesis to pin him down on the floor.)
Prue: “Thanks for the offer, but I got this.” “I’m going to look for that book.” “Regardless of what I have to do.”
(Prue gives Zygon a wink as she astral teleports out from the underworld.)
[Scene: 9:00 am – Split screen phone conversation between Darry, who is at the San Francisco Police Department. Paige, who is at Magic School.]
*cellphone rings* Darryl: “Go for Morris.” *clutches his mobile with phone with shoulder* *Paige explaining to Darryl about Prue* “Say what now!?”
Paige: *abbreviating herself* “Prue, is alive.”
Darryl: “But ho- how?”
(Paige explains to Darryl how Prue came back in further details.)
Paige: “Can you put an IP out for her?” “Just in case she shows up?”
Darryl: “Sure, Paige.”
Paige: “Thank you.”
(Paige hangs up the phone with Darryl.)
(Darryl walks out his office.)
Darryl *in a loud voice*: “Alright, we are putting IP out for a ‘Jane Doe’.” “Caucasian, black hair, green eyes, mid-to late 40’s.”
Female Detective: “Does she have any medical conditions?”
Darryl: “She, doesn’t remember herself.”
[Scene: 9:20 am- Living Quarters at Magic School with Paige, Phoebe, and Coop.]
(Paige hangs up the phone with Darryl.)
Phoebe: “So, what did he say?”
Paige: “Well, he placed an IP out for her, just in case she decides to resurface back on the Earth place.”
Phoebe: “Maybe I could sense her to see if she did.”
Coop: “Phoebe, I don’t think it would be good to use your powers to the distinctive level.” “It might induce your labor.”
Phoebe: This is my sister for god shakes, I at least have to try.”
(Paige pulls Coop to the side.)
Paige: “Piper, Leo and I are going to speak The Tribunal.”
Coop: “The Tribunal?” “Why?”
Paige *bobbing her head*: “For starters, we don’t know, hell, nobody from ‘Up there,’ knows about the book.” “Maybe The Tribunal could help.”
Coop: “Last time you all went there for help, they stripped Phoebe of her powers.” “We don’t know what they might do to Piper for finding the book, let alone for Wyatt for casting a spell.”
(Piper walks in.)
Piper: “That’s a risk I’m willing to take.” “We are all willing to take.” *walks closer to Paige and Coop* “We need answers, and we need them now.” “Even if that requires a consequence of having are powers striped, goddamnit, I’m willing to do so.”
(Leo walks in.)
Paige: “Are you ready?”
Piper and Leo: “Yes.”
(Piper and Leo hold on to Paige and orbs out, leaving Coop with Phoebe.)
[Scene: 9:48 am- Still in Living Quarters at Magic School with Phoebe, and Coop.]
(Phoebe gets into a mediation position.)
Phoebe: “I need complete quietness, please.”
(Phoebe closes her eyes and starts of sensing for Prue)
Phoebe: “I can’t sense her.”
Coop: “Phoebe, I think you should stop.”
Phoebe: “Instead of me sensing her like any other normal person, I’m going to try sensing her through are blood relationship.”
(Phoebe was able to sense her.)
(Phoebe starts to levitate)
Coop *with panic in his voice*: “Phoebe, stop.” “You’re scarring me.”
Phoebe: “I can sense her.” “She’s not in The Underworld, but where?”
(Phoebe’s eyes turn pure white as her premonition power kicks to get a glace of the area.)
(*flashes* The San Francisco Police Department.)
(*flashes* Prue walking into the station.)
(*astral premonition in an invisible form*)
Darryl: “Prue, you don’t have to do this.”
Prue: “Oh, but I do.” “If you’re going to put an IP on me,” *punches Darryl* “leave a women age out of it!” “Oh look, I got blood on your white shirt.” “To bad.”
(Darryl passes out.)
(Prue hears astral Phoebe’s thoughts.)
(Prue starts to chant.)
Prue: “What is not seen”
       “Make seen”
(astral Phoebe visibly fades into a corporal form.)
(Prue gives an evil smirk.)
astral Phoebe: “How can yo-”
Prue: “- You read thoughts?” “I guess my powers are growing also.” “I don’t know where you and your *air quotes* sisters hiding, I will get you.” “I will get that book.” “And I will be the new Queen of the Underworld.” “LEAVE!”
(Premonition ends.)
(Phoebe flops back down to the grown from levitating.)
(Phoebe’s water’s breaks.)
Coop: “I told you that you should have stop, Phoebe!”
Phoebe: “Would you shut up for one second and get me to the infirmary!”
[Scene: 10:00 am- At The Tribunal’s meeting area with Leo, Piper, and Paige.]
(Paige orbs in with Piper and Leo.)
(Piper and Paige starts chanting.)
Piper and Paige: Di! Ecce hora! Uxor mea me necabit!
(The Tribunal appears)
Tribunal all together: “How may we help you this time, The Halliwells?”
Piper: “Well, I found this book while having work done at the manor and I came across this book with the title Book of Damned.’”
(All the Tribunal have a puzzled look on their face.)
(Start to whisper among each other.)
Piper: “Helllo people, we still need answer?”
Crill: “Book of Damned goes back to Salm Witch times.”
Paige: “That is why we seen Melinda Warren in Phoebe’s vision.”
Thrask: “As long as nobody cast a spell from that book, we should be fine.”
(Piper, Paige, Leo give each other a startled look.)
Leo: “Why not?”
Adair: “That book is magically linked to Letitia Gannibal.”
Piper: “I’m sorry who again?”
Crill: “Letitia Gannibal” “Just like how the Warren- Halliwell bloodline stared, the Gannibal-Bennett line started.” “She’s was the first of her bloodline to earn magic also.”
Thrask: “Instead of using her magic for good, she used it for evil.” “Starting the mythological of The Window of Opportunity.”
Paige: “What would happen if such casts a spell from the Book of Damned?
Adair: “If anyone casts a spell out of that book, will awaken Letitia herself!”
Leo: “Well we have a problem.”
Piper: “Wyatt cased a resurrecting spell, which brought back Prue from the dead.” “She doesn’t remember her and she’s using magic for evil acts.”
Adair: “Prue is going through the Window of Opportunity, meaning that she has 48 hours to choose a side to align with.”
Piper: “What the hell you mean the Window of Opportunity, she was already a good witch!”
Thrask: “By the looks of it, she self-choice evil.” “She has time to algin with good if she pleases.”
(The Tribunal looks among each other.)
Crill: “As for Wyatt, he will be held accountable for his acts for using forbidden magic.”
(The Tribunal summons Wyatt present.)
Wyatt: “Why am I here?”
Thrask: “Wyatt Halliwell, you are charged with using forbidden magic, by awaking a force of evil.”
Wyatt *with range in his voice*: “How the hell I suppose to know it was an evil book.” “Bullshit!”
Piper: “Language, mister!”
Wyatt: “I want a trial!” “I demand a trail now!”
Thrask: “Piper, Paige, I’ve just been informed that Phoebe just had her baby.”
Piper: “Paige you go back and check up on Phoebe, I’m staying her.” “There is no way in hell they are going to strip Wyatt of his powers.”
Adair: Actually Ms. Halliwell, we prefer Leo to stay while you and Paige go back to aid your sister.
(Piper rolls her eyes.)
Paige: Piper sweetie, just come on.
Piper: “Fine!” “Leo, let me know what happens.” Don’t leave any details ou—”
(Paige orbs her and Piper out before Piper gets to finish her word.)
Crill: “Let the trail begin.”
Adair: “For the plaintiff side, we have Zankou”
Leo: “Zankou!?”
(Zankou is summoned in flames)
Zankou: “Miss me?”
Thrask: For the dependent side we have Kyra.”
(Kyra is summoned in white orbs.)
Kyra*with a big smile on her face*: “I guy!”
Leo: “Kyra, I haven’t seen you since- ”
Kyra: “Since I was vanquished.” “I know.”
The Tribunal: “Let us begin!”
[Scene: 1:20 pm- Magic School’s infirmary with Phoebe, Coop, Piper, and Paige.]
(Paige orbs in with Piper.)
(Phoebe is swaddling her newborn.)
Piper: “Phoebe.” “Phoebe, are you ok.”
Phoebe: “I’m fine Piper.” “Everything is fine.”
Coop: “I want everyone to meet Ryan Victor Halliwell.”
Piper *with a smile in her face and tears forming in her eyes *: “Victor.”
Phoebe *smiling, crying*: “Dedicated after are father Victor.”
Coop: “He weighted a whooping 9 pounds.”
Paige: “Well, we know he was going to be healthy because Phoebe kept her mouth stuffed with food.”
Phoebe: “Hello, right here!”
(Everyone busted into laughter.)
Phoebe: “We got to get Prue, because she has Darryl in the Underworld.”
Piper: “That’s it.”
Paige: “What Piper.”
Piper: “She has to go.” “Paige orb me to the manor to get the book to from the attic.” “
Paige: “Piper, she’s are sister.” “You just can’t vanquish her like any other demon.”
Piper: “Are Prue died in 2001.” *in tears* “Are Prue would never attack a friend, yet alone an innocent.” *wipes tears* “She needs to be vanquished.”
Phoebe: “Hey, we are not vanquishing our sister Piper.”
(Phoebe climbs out the bed.)
Phoebe: “I got an idea.” *wipes the tears off of Piper’s face* “It requires the Book of Shadows and Sheila.”
[Scene: 2:50 pm- In the Underworld with Prue, Darryl, and Zygon.]
(Prue has Darryl pinned down in a chair.)
Zygon: “Why do you have this mortal in The Underworld.”
(Prue is sitting in The Source’s throne)
Prue: “Have you heard of touch your goddamnit nose.” *crosses her legs* “He’s leverage.”
Zygon: “Ahh, for what?”
Prue: “the Book of Damned, dip-shit.” *sighs* “I read your mind when I first meet you and know you was slow.” “But good god, I didn’t know you was this god damn slow.”
(Darryl wakes up dazed)
Darryl: “Pru- Prue?”
Prue *mimicking Darryl*: “Pru- Prue?” “Stop calling my name like that!” You wouldn’t like for me to call your name like that.” “Da- Darryl.”
Darryl: “Why can’t I move?”
Prue: “Because, I’m using my powers to tame you.”
Darryl: “What do you want from me?”
Prue: “It’s not what I want from you” “It’s what I want to trade you for.”
(Darryl brakes loose from Prue’s telepathic withholding.)
(Zygon used his powers to melt Darryl’s shoes in spot.)
Prue*walks up to Darryl*: “Poor Darryl.” now you don’t have any shoes.” “Now, shut up and SITT!”
(Darryl flops to the ground.)
[Scene: 2:45 pm Magic School’s with Phoebe, Piper, Paige, and Sheila.]
(Paige orbs back into Magic school with Piper and Sheila)
Sheila: “So let me get this straight.” *tilts her head at Paige* “You want me to roam free in The Underworld, just to use me as bait?”
Paige: “Yep, that’s the plan.” “But, trust us, we will be right there behind you.”
Piper: “Phoebe what did you want with the book?”
Phoebe: “I’m looking at the binding potion in the book.” “Something had me thinking, what if we tinker with the potion.
Piper: “Go on.”
Phoebe: “Instead of binding with Prue’s powers, we remove them, hoping it would break her from The Window of Opportunity.”
Paige: “That might actually work.”
(Ryan, who is in his bassinet, starting crying.)
Phoebe: “Oh is little Ryan hungry?” “Oh yes he is, Oh yes he is.”
(Sheila walks over to the bassinet.)
Shelia: “He looks just like Coop.”
Phoebe *bottle feeding*: “He really does.”
(Phoebe stops bottle feeding Ryan.)
(She takes him out the bassinet, burps him a couple of times, and places him back in.)
Phoebe *walks over to Coop in the other room*: “Ryan has been feed and sleep.” “I’ve pumped milk just incase he wakes back up.”
Coop: “Phoebe-”
Phoebe: “Be safe, I know.”
(Coop kisses Phoebe on her forehead.)
(Paige, who has already made the revamped binding potion, approaches Phoebe and Coop.)
Paige: “Ready, Phoebe?”
Phoebe *nods*: “Ready”
(Phoebe, Piper, and Shelia holds on to Paige as she orbs them into The Underworld.)
[Scene: 3:00 pm- The Underworld with Phoebe, Piper, and Paige, and Sheila where Prue was with Darryl.]
(Phoebe, Piper, Shelia, and Paige orbed into The Underworld.)
Shelia *running over to Darryl*: “Darryl, oh honey, are you ok?”
(Darryl mouth was shut and he was still.)
Shelia: “Honey what’s wrong?’
Prue *struts out the shadows* *mimicking Shelia*: ““Darryl, oh honey, are you ok?” “No, he’s not.” “He’s under my control.”
(Prue uses advanced telekinesis to throw Shelia.)
(Paige catches Shelia using telekinetic orbing, placing her back on the ground.)
Paige: “I don’t think that’s nice, Prue.”
Prue: “You’re right dear, let me pick on someone my own size.”
(Prue uses advanced telekinesis to create a telekinetic energy ball, and chucks it at Piper, Phoebe, and Paige.)
(Piper explodes it, midway.)
Piper: “Nice try.”
Prue: “I’m going to ask one more time, where is the book!?”
Phoebe*pulls out the Book of Damned*: “This book?”
Prue: “Yep, now be a gem and hand it over, or Darryl here will be a vegetable for the rest of his living, breathing live.”
Piper: “Now!”
(Paige throws the potion as Phoebe opens up the corked glass bottle so that she would be able to capture Prue’s powers.”
Prue: “No!”
(Prue uses advanced telekinesis to have the bottle bust before traveling her way.)
(This causes the bottle to burst in front of Piper instead.)
(The potion working biding every sister power, but Phoebe, that makes them Charmed - Piper’s Molecular Immobilization, Prue’s Telekinesis, and Paige’s Telekinetic Orbing.)
(The bottle then magically teleports back to magic school.)
Prue: “I’ve had it with the games!” *tries to use telekinesis but does not works*
Phoebe: “You know what Prue, me to.”
(Phoebe’s lounges herself using levitation at Prue.)
Phoebe: “Feel this, bitch!”
(Phoebe uses her Empath and Premonition power to make Prue see her childhood and make her experience the emotions that occurred during that time period.)
(It was enough to knock Prue out, releasing Darryl her Telepathic hold.)
(Shelia and Phoebe walks over to help Darryl)
Paige: “Ok, Let’s go now!”
(Paige orbs all of them out of there back to Magic School.)

Your Pain Almost Destroyed You
Fandom: Charmed
Pairing: Chris Halliwell & Wyatt Halliwell
Warnings: Dark Future/Evil Wyatt (controlling, casts a spell on Chris without consent), Not Leo Friendly
Summary: When Wyatt was a baby, Leo cast a spell on Piper to keep her from getting upset so that she wouldn’t fall apart. Almost twenty years later, Chris finds out that Wyatt isn’t exactly fulfilling the role everyone cast him in, and Wyatt casts that same spell on his brother.
Read below or on AO3
It shouldn't have been as surprising as it was. There'd been talk of a rising power in the Underworld, and Wyatt hadn't cared. When Chris pointed out how strange his apathy was, Wyatt had simply shrugged and said, "There's always talk of a new power rising and it never goes anywhere. The Elders are just worried now that the Power of Three isn't doing all their dirty work for them." Wyatt hadn't been calm about anything to do with demons after Mom died, but as the power in the Underworld grew, so did Wyatt's confidence that everything would be fine.
So no, it shouldn't have been surprising when Chris came home to find demons kneeling in front of Wyatt, but it was. Wyatt sensed him the moment the door opened, glancing back at him calmly.
The demons' eyes followed. None of them made a move to stand, but a tilt there and a gesture at the hand here, and it was clear they were awaiting the order to attack.
"Leave," Wyatt ordered them, eyes fixed on Chris like he was afraid Chris would leave.
"Sire," one of them tried to protest.
"Now," he said, voice firm and commanding.
They all bent their heads in respect before leaving, most of them shimmering, a few phasing or flaming away. It was all too real to be a dream, but a part of Chris felt like it had to be anyways. Their condo was the same as always, the long glass table half-covered in Chris's books and notes and journals, the trash can mostly full and probably needing to be changed, and Wyatt's jackets piling up on the side of the couch closest to the door where he threw them every day when he got home. "Wyatt?" Chris asked, voice faint. "What's- what are you doing inviting demons to our home? Why were they bowing to you? What the hell is going on?"
"I solved it." Wyatt came closer, his boots muted thuds on the floor.
"Solved what? What are you talking about?"
"Good witches die every week. In our family, it's just a matter of time. Aunt Prue and our grandmother died before they turned thirty."
Thoughts were zooming around Chris's head like it was a goddamn freeway, and the dots connected before he could get it out. "You're the new power." He stumbled back half a step in shock, but Wyatt was there, gripping his hand tightly.
"Demons-"
"Demons die faster than witches! Are you trying to kill yourself? Mom's gone, and it fucking sucks, but I can't lose you too!"
"You won't," Wyatt said, sounding so sure that Chris almost believed it. Almost. Wyatt could make everything sound possible if he tried. "Chris, listen to me. Witches die, and demons die, but leaders survive so much longer. The Elders have been around for millennia, the original Source was around for almost as long. I'm more powerful than all of them, if I take care of it now, we'll be safe."
"You."
"What?" Wyatt asked, confused.
Chris swallowed, his throat suddenly feeling dry. "You'll be safe. Not us."
Wyatt's expression grew determined, and he stepped closer, into Chris’s space. He had a commanding presence even when it was just the two of them. "Us, Chris. It's not just the Underworld I'll be ruling. I have a plan, and in the end, you'll be safe, I swear it."
"What plan?"
Wyatt shook his head; he wasn't going to share, not yet. Maybe not ever, but definitely not right now when he thought Chris couldn’t handle it. "You're all I have. I would never risk you."
It was on the tip of his tongue to say that Wyatt had already put him at risk by inviting demons to their home, but something more important was glaring out at him. "Our family. I'm not all you have, we still have Aunt Phoebe and Aunt Paige and all our cousins. We're not alone just because we lost Mom. We've still got Dad," he added as an afterthought. Dad had never been there for Chris, but he was always there when Wyatt wanted him.
Wyatt's expression twisted. "No we don't. We don't need any of them, and we sure as hell don't need that piece of shit."
Chris couldn't be more shocked right now if he tried. Wyatt and Dad had always gotten along. While Wyatt had been off with Dad learning how to be a whitelighter-- and an Elder, Chris suspected-- or playing catch, Chris had been in the restaurant with Mom, clearing plates or doing dishes. There was no doubt that Wyatt loved her, but he'd always been closer with Dad. "What are you talking about?"
"Leo. He wouldn't help you if he had to lift a damn finger, and I’m not going to keep around just to hurt you."
Hurt, Chris tried to defend him. "That's not true, he's busy being an Elder."
"I asked him to teach you how to be a whitelighter. You know what he said?"
Chris could only stare up at him.
"He said you'd never learn because you didn't have the power for it. Can you believe that? It's such bullshit, it's like everyone forgets that you've vanquished demons all by yourself just because I’m around. I know how much you wanted to learn, but I can't teach you so I asked and he- he said that."
"He said that?" Chris asked quietly. He'd always known that Leo thought more of Wyatt than him, but that hurt like an energy ball to the chest. They were family. He didn’t have Wyatt’s strength, but all siblings were like that. Sure it was more obvious with Wyatt, but you were supposed to love your kids even with all their flaws. Being less powerful wasn’t even a flaw, but their father couldn’t manage to get past it.
"Yeah," Wyatt said. At least he looked sorry about it, but in the next moment, he was assuring Chris that it didn't matter, because all Chris needed was him, and Wyatt would never let him down, not ever. Wyatt was talking like it would be the two of them against the entire world, and Chris was spiraling; he could feel it happen. He wanted to stop, but words were swirling in his head as his breathing grew shallow and the air turned hot and muggy around him. It felt like an instant before he fell over the edge, but Wyatt's grip on his hand turned into a warm comfort. From his touch, up Chris's arm, to his heart and through the rest of his body was a cool calmness. "It's okay," Wyatt said softly. "Everything will be fine."
Chris leaned into him as his breathing evened out and his sweat cooled. Why had he been panicking? Wyatt was right, everything would be fine; he'd take care of it like he always did.

Rules: pick 5 shows, then answer the following questions, tag some other people
Peep Show
Charmed
Girl from Nowhere
(cinematic masterpiece) Boys Over Flowers
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
thanks @youcancallmedoctor and yes i did for a bit consider just putting cmbof for every choice first because i was like ‘have i ever seen a single other show’ and then because like, this would be work for my doctoral thesis to be completed after the airing of the king (of romance): the eternal monarch (of romance)
who is your favorite character in 2?
(Charmed) Piper! It’s Piper, nobody else need apply.
who is your least favorite character in 1?
(Peep Show) Ben! Every interaction with Ben when he is not unconscious is so horrible. “It’s not a fucking love story, it’s a fucking fuck story, it’s about animal lusts and dirt and fluids” is enough to keep me from rereading Wuthering Heights ever again.
what is your favorite episode of 4?
((cinematic masterpiece) Boys Over Flowers) Episode Four! Making date plans without even making sure the other person heard them! Waiting in the snow without a cellphone for hours because you’ve never waited for someone for a date before! Namsan Tower! The coffee! The blankets! The marker! Hair straightening! Those are absolutely the only things that happen in that episode and it is a perfect episode. To pick a different episode that doesn’t also feature things that disturb me to my very core, episode 25, because it calls back to all of the good parts of 4 without any of the parts that are terrible which I’m choosing to pretend don’t exist.
what is your favorite season of 5?
(Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) The second season, which exists entirely in my head, it’s a lot like the first season except the like 40 different extremely irritating comic relief characters are all gone, nobody ever talks about them because the show is too busy being about Bong Soon, Min Hyuk, and their very strong daughters. Until then, the first season is a close runner up, provided it’s the edited version that again exists in my mind where the high schoolers, gangsters, and any guy who just screams a lot shows up exactly once as needed and then never again in a speaking role.
who is your favorite couple in 3?
(Girl from Nowhere) This is probably the one show I watch where it’s not that kind of show, so there’s only one couple that isn’t horrible and it’s Nanno and TK. I am haunted by that episode, and also where is season two of this show.
who is your favorite couple in 2?
(Charmed) Piper and Leo! I can’t think of any other couples in this show. In fact, there aren’t any. I’m pretty sure that there isn’t another really long-standing couple that a lot of people actually enjoyed having in the show despite it being terrible for everyone. It was just Piper and Leo, their one child, Wyatt, and the show ending after assuring me that their love is perfect and will last forever.
what is your favorite episode of 1?
(Peep Show) Season 7 episode 4, “The Nether Zone” which is mostly Mark and Jez trapped in the front area of an apartment building, then one of the apartments, followed by just the bathroom, and then the shower. Mark panicking about his baby’s christening while Jez is ordering a pizza to be delivered through a mail slot in the door of the place they are locked inside is funnier every time I watch it.
what is your favorite episode of 5?
(Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) Episode 12! Beach Date! Honorable mention to episode 1 where Bong Soon and Min Hyuk meet and where you first hear “Super Power Girl”, but like, just remembering the heart drawing, the callback to the “one step”, truly amazing. The criminal stuff picking up is also like, chillingly great, but like, I would have watched the whole show without that plot just as well.
what is your favorite season of 2?
(Charmed) This is one of those shows that I’ve never really just watched all the way through, though I did make my half-sisters who had never seen a single episode watch the finale which I, a grade school kid, definitely needed to see. I have mostly watched this wildly out of order and in varying parts while staying home from school or getting ready from school, depending on how old I was and when TNT was airing it, so it’s hard to say. Probably the first? Maybe the third? I have no problem with Paige, but I did like Prue and the episodes she was present for.
how long have you watched 1?
(Peep Show) I...don’t know. I definitely started watching it in college.....maybe since 2013-2014? I know that by the time I watched it, everything had come out except for the last season which I watched as it aired in 2015. I rewatch it probably once every month, it’s just become so easy to start it anywhere in the series, work on whatever I’m actually doing, and still be able to look up and know what’s going on.
how did you become interested in 3?
(Girl from Nowhere) It was Scary-thon! Every October, I usually just reread The Haunting of Hill House and Ring, maybe rewatch Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight, and complain about how there are no good scary movies/tv shows/books. Last year, I decided to create an event for myself, Scary-thon, in which I tried to watch and read only things in the horror genre all month to see if there was in fact worthwhile things out there. While looking for Netflix horror offerings, I saw Girl from Nowhere, thought it might be cool and that it would probably fit my theme month, and started watching it.
who is your favorite actor in 4?
((cinematic masterpiece) Boys Over Flowers) Asking me this is like asking me to pick a favorite child. Like. Okay. Like, in terms of actually being in stuff for me to watch and not just terrorizing me over instagram, it is Lee Min Ho, but like, I love Ku Hye Sun for terrorizing me on instagram.... If we’re just talking about acting in the show specifically, then like, it is Lee Min Ho because Gu Jun Pyo is exactly my favorite type of kdrama male lead, and like, he did it!
which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?
(Peep Show, Charmed, or Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) Hm. I mean they all have very different places in my heart. I’ll say Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, because I recently finished a rewatch with my youngest brother (his first watch) and it was really fun despite the parts of the show that are teeth-grindingly annoying. I remember the most things about it of these three shows, and I love the soundtrack, am always waiting for the leads to be in more things, like it’s that show.
which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
(Peep Show or Girl from Nowhere) Peep Show has more episodes, so Peep Show.
if you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
((cinematic masterpiece) Boys Over Flowers) Okay so like...realistically, I can’t imagine surviving a day in the life of either of the leads. I think I would settle for being either the head maid at Jun Pyo’s house or the guy who owns the porridge shop that Jan Di and Ga Eul work at, like I feel like that’s just close enough to witness the stuff that the leads get up to without really having to be actively involved with any of it, or even worse, interact with Ji Hoo, who I would kill if given the opportunity.
would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?
(Girl from Nowhere and (cinematic masterpiece) Boys Over Flowers) Oh my god no, like... Okay the bullying and things that go on at Shinhwa High probably desperately need someone like Nanno to put an end to like, all of that, forever, but like....I don’t want all of them to die or go through horrifying things.
pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?
(Peep Show) Hm. I’ve...honestly never cared to think about this. I’m going to ignore this question a bit because Peep Show is kind of a show with exclusively bad couples whether they’re likely or not, and say Elena and Zahra, because they’re kind of similar but in like, opposite directions if that makes sense. Of Jez’s girlfriends who were dating other people first the whole time, they’re kind of similar but they never meet because Jez has just probably ruined Elena’s wedding at the end of the sixth season before meeting Zahra in the seventh, and Elena never shows back up. They would not make a strangely okay or even slightly okay couple, but I would enjoy seeing it.
overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?
(Girl from Nowhere or Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) I mean...they’re different.... I guess Strong Woman Do Bong Soon has more of an actual storyline throughout since Girl from Nowhere is...I mean it’s Nanno every time but like, the...storyline really isn’t clear until the end...  I don’t know.
which has the better theme music, 2 or 4?
I can recall exactly one song from Charmed, and it’s great, but nothing compares to any song in (cinematic masterpiece) Boys Over Flowers.

My favourite Charmed episodes - season 8
This is the eighth part of my Favourite Charmed Episodes meta series all posts in the series will be tagged as #favecharmedeps
Like most Charmed fans, season 8 is by far my least favourite season. I dislike parts of season 6 and 7, but season 8 really takes the biscuit. The more time I’ve had to reflect on the season, the more I think that the series would’ve been better if the season never happened. The season doesn’t add anything new to the characters or the story. To put it simply, it doesn’t work. Zankou was a great Big Bad to finish with, and Billie and Christy were poor in comparison. Without characters like Leo and Darryl, and a lack of guest appearances from recurring characters like Penny, Patty, Victor, Chris etc. the season suffered further. The addition of Billie as a main character didn’t really work and even now I still struggle to understand why that decision was made. The final battle between the sisters and Billie and Christy was basically a copy (admittedly a poor copy) of Something Wicca This Way Goes. With all of the seasons in this meta series, I’ve tried to find positives, but I don’t think I can with season 8. The finale is the best part, but as I said in my season 7 post, I would’ve rather season 7 have been the last season because I was happier with how that season ended. Overall, season 8 is so lacklustre and underwhelming that I really had to scrape the barrel to find any episodes I like. I chose 3 episodes from the season: Vaya Con Leos (8x10), Engaged and Confused (8x16) and Forever Charmed (8x22)
Vaya Con Leos (8x10)
Holly’s acting sells this episode. She’s so good at playing the emotional scenes/episodes and this episode is very emotional. After everything Piper and Leo have been through and all they’ve overcame to be together, it’s heart-breaking for her to discover that Death is now coming for him. The extreme lengths that Piper’s willing to go through to save Leo are understandable, albeit ill-advised.
Losing Leo is a huge blow for the sisters and for the fans, who are connected to him so deeply. In Oh My Goddess we got to see the impact that losing Leo has on the sisters and this episode reminds us of that once again. The scene where Leo is frozen is still one of the most emotional scenes of the series and always sticks in my mind. And the final scenes where the music is playing and all of the sisters are grieving for Leo in their own way is so touching. This episode is one of the only from the season that actually has an emotional impact, which is surprising since I found a lot of episodes from the earlier seasons emotional.
Engaged and Confused (8x16)
This episode is on here purely because of Paige and Henry’s wedding at the end, because I have no interest in the rest of the episode. Paige and Henry’s relationship was one of my favourite aspects of season 8 and their wedding was very understated but beautiful. Paige always felt like the sister that was less concerned with love and content to be single, but seeing her find someone like Henry, who was such a perfect match for her and complimented her so well, was lovely. And the cute little moment before the wedding where Wyatt steals some cake and Henry catches him is too adorable. Besides that, I can’t really say I’m in love with this episode. I basically just like Paige and Henry’s wedding and that’s it.
Forever Charmed (8x22)
Because it’s the final episode of the entire series, Forever Charmed is generally memorable whether you like it or not. The opening scene with Piper finding Phoebe dead is devastating and one of those scenes that sticks in my mind for the sheer emotion that it carries. The rest of the episode is very fitting as it takes us on a stroll down memory lane and introduces us to some familiar faces. I always love to see the Halliwell family come together and this episode brings nearly everyone (minus Prue) together in one room. I’ll always appreciate the scene with everyone hugging and smiling and laughing together. It’s corny as hell, but it’s so nice to see because the family rarely got to have moments like that all together. After everything the sisters and the family went through, they all deserved to have a happy and peaceful life, and I’m glad we got to see them have that.
However, there are many aspects to the episode that I dislike and would’ve changed. I didn’t like that the episode was dominated by Piper, I was disappointed that Prue didn’t make an appearance (even though I understand why given the circumstances of Shannen’s departure), I was also disappointed that Darryl wasn’t there since he was with the sisters from the very beginning and I felt that the end was too simplistic and happy. Even if the sisters won their “final battle” against Billie and Christy, that didn’t change the fact that there were still demons out there that would target them. I also didn’t like the fact that it’s insinuated that a happy ending (particularly for women) is marriage and kids. I understand that for many people, that is the case, but it felt too stereotypical and a little out of place on a show that I’d consider feminist. It felt particularly odd for Paige who was never very traditional. She never expressed any desire to marry or to have children so that image of her as a domesticated house-wife and mother never really sat well for me. Nonetheless, I appreciate the episode for the nostalgia it provides and the happy ending we got.
And that’s really all I have to say for my favourite episodes from season 8. Like I said in the previous post, my analysis was always going to be a lot shorter for season 8 because it’s the only season I actively dislike. Objectively, I also think that most people can agree it’s the weakest season of the series. I used to be pretty indifferent to the season, and I’d just skip it on re-watches but as time has gone by I’ve come to really dislike the season. I always think it’s somewhat petty when fans turn around and say that they’re going to ignore canon because they think a certain season/episode of a show has ruined it, but in this case I actually think it’s valid to ignore canon. If season 8 is removed from the series, overall, it doesn’t impact the story of the show and we still have a fantastic ending. Like I’ve said repeatedly, I actually prefer Something Wicca This Way Goes as a series finale, so I’d have been happy for it to end there.
Generally, the season has so much wrong with it. For one thing, it brings nothing new to the show; Billie and Christy don’t fit in with the overall tone of the show and their very existence undermines everything we’ve previously learned about the sisters and their destiny (it still frustrates me that two witches were supposedly powerful enough to take on the Charmed Ones, they could’ve at least balanced it out and made it 3 versus 3, because it just undermined the amount of power we were told the sisters had); Darryl was absent as was Leo for a majority of the season; there were two rushed romances (Phoebe and Coop, and Paige and Henry), an underwhelming final plot and final episode and a complete lack of character development or engaging character arcs. Maybe I’m being a little harsh but I can’t think of a redeeming aspect of season 8 (except Henry, who I do really like as a character). Everything about it is so meh and the whole season feels completely off-balance.
This post ends this meta series of analysing my favourite Charmed episodes per season. However, I love writing about Charmed so much that it doesn’t end here. I’ll be continuing the series with two additional posts. The first will discuss my top 10 favourite all time favourite episodes from across the series and finally, I’ll rank all of the seasons from my most to least favourite.
Thanks for reading and for those of you that have been keeping up with all of these posts, I hope you continue to enjoy what I write.

SEE LAST POST FOR CONTEXT
#im just thinking that like #wyatt kinda disappears again #but its not like he's kidnapped or anything #he just orbs out and never comes back after he sees piper dead #and like he only comes home RARELY and not long enough for his aunts to find him #and its just to get spells or trying to grab the BOS before it's defences fall #but yeah im thinking maybe he just RUNS #and hunts demons non stop #like he hunts them so bad that they're all on the run #that they actually start to go into hiding #but its mostly bc he's looking for who EXACTLY killed his mother #and eventually he goes to witches and whitelighters looking for answers #and he's so delirious that when they say they don't have answers #he doesn't believe them and that's how he starts killing 'good beings' #he literally tortures them and then just ends up killing them out of anger and frustration #and because he realises it just? makes him feel better #its not like killing demons killing 'good' beings just does something to him and he LIKES it #but at first he just keeps killing them for answers #and like his first human kills aren't actually for a long time #bc he doesn't HAVE a reason to kill them #until he starts to kill for fun which is probs in his take over stage
but like? yeah, he just is there killing demons and witches and whitelighters because its easier than dealing with his grief and fear. And eventually magic exposure happens because its like what happens in all hell breaks loose. He’s chasing a demon in the street and kills it and either its in front of people, like he’s literally lost all care about the rules or consequences, and he’s there with blood and ash and dirt all over him being brutal with a demon and for perfect symmetry a news team catches it just like they do with piper and prue vanquishing shax. (its that or something to do with phoebe like in morality bites idk yet).
And his whole family are looking for him because they know hes NOT OKAY or ‘good’. Chris is just left behind by everyone and victor is literally the only one there to look after him. Like Paige and Phoebe even miss time with their own kids because they’re trying to bring Wyatt home to help him. But his power stops them from finding him and he just keeps killing until he finds the demon responsible for his mothers death. But that demon is the one that convinces him that he needs to take control of everything (or not look i have no idea bc i have such trouble with the idea that Wyatt willingly takes over just bc lol he wants to. like he isn’t the kind of character that would want to control the world. he’d just want to destroy it. he’s just chaos personified) in order to stop his family from dying.
so maybe he takes over bc like look, the witch trials start and phoebe comes damn close to being killed. but this is when Wyatt just, ‘takes over’, he breaks in and its probs his first human kills. He kills that jury of reporters and politicians and it causes a war or something similar against him. And to protect himself, to protect his family he literally lets all hell free on the world as his army because demons are terrified of him, they follow him but they’re also happy bc once he stops killing them they get exactly what they’ve always wanted. but he uses them as his army because soldiers have no, literally no chance against them. And with the charmed ones broken, they can’t be stopped.
tbh, i’m liking this the more i go on bc its the only thing that’s made the most sense and fit mostly with canon but also with whats been said in companions (like the comment from drew saying that leo was too busy to see chris because he was trying to find wyatt i think? or stop him either one) but it still needs a lot of work and i do want to chat about it to see what people think! but im more than likely going to go w/ this now.

i feel like the couples might shake out a little differently if both prue and paige are around? i know it might seem like cole would be out of the picture but with where he was when prue died, he wasn't wavering between good and evil, it was good iirc. i don't think the source would've had the chance to possess him (wasn't paige like . a big part of why they possessed him? with prue AND paige around i think the communication would've been better)
also imagining paige meeting henry thru andy eventually
Okay, so I actually initially sketched out the entire AU in this ask but it got too long, so you can find the entire AU, endgame ships, and next gen of that AU over here.
Now, while I think that you can shake out a Phole endgame, I think that Cole's life expectancy drops significantly if Prue's there. I just reviewed a few of the last scripts of season three, and Prue (and Piper, tbh) is fully prepared to vanquish his ass. Two episodes before the finale, Cole is enchanted to kill a witch in "Exit Strategy," in front of the sisters when they first went to strip his powers. He reconciles with Phoebe in the next episode (Banshee) but not with Prue nor Piper and neither believe what he told Phoebe. (Featuring Piper flat out calling Phoebe naive for believing Cole when he said he had a spell on him and Prue being unaware that Phoebe was working on a spell to save him in the season three finale.) Quite frankly, I think that if Prue hadn't died, Cole would have died a lot sooner. If the sisters aren't exposed (and Piper dies), Cole wouldn't have a chance to prove himself vital to plan and play the hero act in getting Phoebe out of the Underworld, which is a pretty key aspect of what puts him in his season four position as being with the family. Without it, he doesn't really have a strong way of appealing to Prue or Piper, leaving only Phoebe on his side.
On top of that, we see Andy consistently pursue even unlikely (magical) leads for his cases throughout the first season, so I'd argue that he'd probably investigate Cole at some point. Considering how old Cole is, and his status in the Underworld (specifically the Brotherhood of Thorns), I think Andy'd find at least something suspicious. That definitely wouldn't help Prue get on Cole's side, and I think Andy would be set against him as well. At the very least, I can not see him reacting well to finding out that Cole was initially playing Phoebe, not when he grew up and would be familiar with how Phoebe doesn't typically do the deep relationships and falls so hard for Cole, a man manipulating her to kill her and her sisters. So that's Prue, Piper, Andy, Leo(?) against Cole and. Phoebe for him. Yeahhhh, I don't see Cole making it here tbh. (I also just. am not the most fond of him anyways, but I can spin up a Phole kid somehow for you, nonnie. I actually do have one but Source's Heir, so Cole doesn't survive that one either tbh.)

Out of curiosity, (code: I want to drag someone into alt next gen hyperfixation hell with me and you are like the og alt next gen Charmed blogger, y'know?) do you have any thoughts on what kids of the following pairings would end up like? Piper/Coop, Paige/Andy, Prue/Drake, or Phoebe/Simon Marks? (110% fine if you don't wanna dream up some new kiddos, I'm just currently spinning around in circles yelling about alt next gen potential and it's been a minute since someone forcibly threw an alternative next gen thing at you, I think?)
wait omg awwwww 💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞 also yayyy fun okay okay
so i got to piper & coop and paige & andy. there's 1k words about it under the cut ❤️❤️❤️ but the long and the short of it is
piper/coop
juliet halliwell (temporal manipulation, beaming, sensing love)
esme halliwell (photokinesis, electrokinesis, pyrokinesis, beaming, sensing love)
venus halliwell (empathy, beaming, sensing love
paige/andy
clementine trudeau (empathy, premonition, orbing, telekinetic orbing)
sienna trudeau (orbing, telekineis, telekinetic orbing, healing)
ruby garcia trudeau (nyehehehehehehe)
piper/coop i think would def have three kids and i feel like would maybe be named after different iconic lovers? like coop is obvi a cupid and piper canonically loves rom coms and i think also romance novels so like. i think maybe in a world where we scrap the richard intro episode which was obvs a romeo and juliet allusion and instead create an episode where the pain shared by romeo juliet and everyone else in their families so on and so forth creates a Curse the lover's curse where whenever a feud akin to that form romeo and juliet are essentially reborn, destined to fall in love, and, ultimately, die (thus triggering the end of the feud). so these two spirits just keep getting born over and over again and they keep kind of unlocking the memories blah blah blah and idk maybe coop finds them bc love is his deal and they all save the day the point is we're naming the baby juliet. why tho? like. if she's really just a one off person we helped. i mean, yes, also, juliet of romeo and juliet, but, still, only a person we met once. so let's say that in this au they were witches. or maybe just juliet was. so she cast magic that caught coop or tco's radar. and idk maybe we're very worried about piper's baby. and there's a side plot about that. something bad has happened / is happening idk. and juliet after breaking the curse is thanking piper. then! we are attacked by piper's b plot! juliet saves piper. uses her final words to thank her bc now the curse is broken and i can finally move on instead of being reborn into this cursed life. also, i'm healing ur baby. or i'm seeing into the future about her or something. then idk she turns into butterflies whoosh magical death. and piper's trying to name her firstborn she's holding her and then a little butterfly lands on the baby's nose and the baby cooes as if in recognition BOOM welcome juliet halliwell. her power's included temporal manipulation (she can slow time down "to slip in between the heartbeats" as we see cupid do in heartbreak city and she can freeze time (kind of) like her mama. she cannot move backwards in time (yet)). she can also beam and sense love. the next daughter will be from the plot from piper's favorite book she read as a child that she and coop will get sucked into for an episode (maybe one where they're experience love troubles) and it will help reconnect piper with the concept of love and the first story that really had her wishing to be in love and will help coop understand piper's point of view. the next daughter will be named esme halliwell, after the name of the main charcter in that story. she has fire/lightning/light powers, fire as displayed by p russell (and phoebe) in the line and lightning by the evil enchantress who i do headcanon as a distant ancestor of theirs bc of the whole. you know. paige. is her. thing. and then light powers we sometimes see them do. idk. she can also beam and sense love. the third daughter is gonna conincide with an astrological episode where some demon is trying to warp some astral aligning for evil but the charmed ones stop them and save the day!! look at how beautiful. what's that one star rising so brightly right there? oh, it's venus. meet venus halliwell is an empath (with the empath extension pack ability to impact other people's moods by touching them / being close enough to them) who through that power also unlocks deflection and mimicry. can also beam and sense love.
paige/andy it's not gonna be as detailed as the pipercoop one lol. [a/n: as it turns out i was lying :3] this will be the base text we're using. first born we're going to do an episode tensions have been building between paige and andy because of paige's issues with motherhood and what it means to be a mom and maybe it's a muses episode or a trapped in a painting episode the point is there's something artsy paige is trapped in and she has to create something to get herself out of there meanwhile andy is on the outside fighting to get her out and realizing that they are always stronger together and their fight is stupid blah blah blah. paige makes. a painting. she has to find The Color that is the key to getting her out. it's the color that she uses painting one of her first moments with andy (a paige/henry knockoff) their first stakeout, which is also somewhat tied to a bet. they've been waiting in the car for hours, it's sunset now and the sky is tinged orange and andy's peeled her some baby oranges bc she's complaining about being hungry so on and so forth. paige is freed. andy sees her painting. and the daughter is named clementine trudeau. empathy, premonitions, orbing, telekinetic orbing (but really only on things in her line of sight. maybe we do a color theme for this one. their next daughter is named sienna trudeau. i can't reasonably tell you why so we'll say she pulled a chris and came back from the future, giving her her name. powers are. telekinesis. orbing. telekinetic orbing. welcome back, chris halliwell. except sienna can also heal. the third daughter will be an adopted witch that paige and andy found when she was young and idk on the run kind of a la tyler michaels. she's maybe seven or so when they find her, clem's maybe three and sienna's one. plotline plotline, we take her in. she becomes a part of the family quickly and clem and sienna view her as her older sister almost immediately lol. meet ruby garcia. first name color last name i'm stealing from jerry garcia bc my parents were just at a grateful dead show or whatever call it an homage (jerry was not there, he is dead. rip.) ruby might add trudeau onto her last name as well. tbd. anyways, as it turns out, she is a demon witch (omg!!) powers are. fireballs energy balls telekinesis and flaming. i am actually going to make her zankou's daughter. just for funsies.

Favourite Episodes of Season 8 of Charmed
This season isn’t my favourite! I think the budget restrictions were a huge problem. They couldn’t go to the max for the last season. You can tell they saved the money they had for the last couple of episodes of series which is why they are done so well!
1. Desperate Housewitches
Piper trying to be the perfect mother making the costumes for Wyatt was hilarious! That pumpkin costume was one the cutest things ever!!! Piper and Leo getting to watch Wyatt in the school play were very cute!
The return of the Source I feel like should have been a bigger moment than what it was. But the reason I like it is because of the throwback to the Source. I am still annoyed that the writers forgot that Paige was there when they vanquished the Source but whatever.
2. Hulkus Pocus
I think I like this one because it was more than demons it was an actual virus. It also showed that the government knew more than we thought. Also, such a government thing to do, do all these tests on a demon pump him full of shit in hopes they can weaponise him only for it to backfire!
3. Vaya Con Leos
Oh, this episode is so sad! It starts off so happy with them buying Leo’s dream car and then the Angel of Death came to ruin it all!! I appreciate the fact that the Angel of Death went and warned Piper that Leo was going to die so they could have time to prepare, that was nice of him.
Also, fuck the Avatars and the Elders. After everything the sisters and Leo had done for them, you would think they would more helpful.
Holly and Brian killed me in that final scene between them. The fact that they didn’t know if Brian was going to be able to come back for the final episodes I think added to the emotion.
4. Paybacks a Witch
Honestly, the scene where Wyatt orbs the cake into the Elder’s face might be one of the best scenes. Like Wyatt was all of us!! Fuck the Elders.
I thought it was really cool that they touched on Wyatt’s feelings on the whole Leo being gone situation. I think it would have been really simple for them to just ignore the kids and just continue with the sisters. But they took the time to talk to the children. And also to point out to any parents that were watching that the children notice everything and blame a lot of stuff on themselves. I liked that they embodied that through Wyatt’s toys. It was really smart.
Paige coming into her healing power was everything. Henry is literally the only boyfriend I have liked of Paige’s so having that moment where she comes into her healing power because of her love for Henry was great. I liked that the trigger was similar to when Piper had to heal Leo in season 1!
5. 12 Angry Zen
This one has some 10/10 Piper lines! “oh you heard about chicken?” “you mean rooster”. Her getting annoyed that Billie was a tiger and she was a Buffalo hahaha!
Paige trying to explain demons to Henry by using Wyatt’s drawing easel was fucking hilarious.
6. Gone with the Witches
I think some elements of what Christy was saying about the Charmed Ones was kind of accurate! I mean they do take advantage of the magical community! They have put themselves in harm's way a lot for them. So I thought was interesting to see them turn the magical community against them.
It was also cool to see them use the past against the Charmed Ones. Like Grams ring, witch doctor and the lust sin.
7. Kill Billie Vol. 2
The Charmed Ones being stuck in the Underworld was kind of ironic! I think them reintroducing the Hollow was cool. I hated that Christy and Billie used Wyatt to get it. Like how fucking manipulative do you have to be to use a 3-year-old. And using the fact that Wyatt would be helping his mother was fucking rude!
The blowing up of the Manor was fucking awesome! To see that explosion was so cool!! Can you imagine what the neighbouring houses were thinking? Like they must have been shook!
Piper holding Phoebe’s body saying ‘breathe sweetie’, ‘come on kiddo’ still fucking gets to me. Then Leo coming and just looking so confused and sad to see his wife distraught.
Piper going fucking apeshit and strangling Billie when she found her was fucking good! YOU GO PIPER!! I SUPPORT YOUR CHOICES!
8. Charmed Forever
As far as series finales go this was a fucking good one! My only gripe with it was the fact Prue wasn’t featured in some way, even just a picture would have been good.
But having Patty and Penny come back to help Piper get rid of the Hollow was awesome to see three generations kicking ass. Yes it went against how the Hollow was meant to be removed but whatever!! Patty then asking where Prue was MY HEART!
Having Chris and Wyatt come back from the future was also super awesome!! Wyatt accidentally saying ‘Uncle Coop’ might be my favourite Wyatt moment! Chris immediately looking at Wyatt like ‘what the fuck dude, there is one rule with time travel for fuck sakes’
I think having Billie kill her sister was fucking rough. Like how on earth did she get over something like that. I mean Christy wasn’t going to change, 15 years of brainwashing is gonna be hard to come back from. But fuck that moment when Billie kills her and she just breaks down sobbing. My heart broke.
I love that final scene where they are all hugging and laughing it seemed a real genuine moment between all of them. They had all been on this journey together and it was coming to an end.
I love that they gave us insights into what each of the sister's futures was like. I am happy that Phoebe finally got to be a mother to three daughters and be amazing at her job. Paige finally got the balance between whitelighter and human down. And being a mother as well! Piper finally opened that fucking restaurant she wanted to open in season 1. And also had that daughter that she saw from the future.
That final scene of elderly Piper and Leo walking up the stairs with all the family pictures (minus Prue, i am bitter yes) was so emotional and made me cry my eyes out!
For the budget they had, the series finale was 9.5/10. The .5 is taken off for the lack of Prue. YES I AM BITTER I JUST WANTED A PHOTO THAT IS IT. ONE MEASLY PHOTO

charmed & desperate housewives
charmed
the first character i ever fell in love with: prue, she was literally my idol when i was 6
a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: i don’t think there’s anyone... i guess i liked paige during my rewatch a bit less than i remembered liking her but i still liked her so i mean
a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: ohhhh phoebe/cole!! i loved them as a kid but when i rewatched it this year, i was so underwhelmed by their whole relationship, especially post s3 (s3 was kinda decent for them but i didn’t care after that, even when cole was still a good guy)
my ultimate favorite character™: piper! but prue is very close
prettiest character: definitely piper
my most hated character: honestly probably christie, she was just really annoying
my OTP: piper/leo ofc
my NOTP: i don’t really have a notp in the classic sense but i disliked piper/dan and phoebe/coop the most. piper/dan was just unnecessary and phoebe/coop was astonishingly badly written, change my mind
favorite episode: im gonna go with the season 5 finale.... iconic
saddest death: prue, of corse
favorite season: probably season 3
least favorite season: season 8. i didn’t hate it or anything but it was just... underwhelming in many ways
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: no one?? i honestly don’t even hate a lot of characters to begin with, like pretty much just christie, dan, and that one annoying fbi lady from season 7
my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: cole turner lmao. i may not like phoebe/cole but i did still like cole, what can i say
my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave: prue obviously :( also drake! he wasn’t a cinnamon roll but he honestly deserved better imo. the phoebe endgame we deserved tbh.
my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship: ehhh..... prue/cole. i honestly ship them so much idc.
my ‘they’re kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i’m not too invested’ ship: i guess paige/henry. i do wish they were developed more but yeah, they were sweet. also prue/andy too.
desperate housewives
the first character i ever fell in love with: god i wish i remembered... it was either bree or gaby but it was so long ago i really don’t know
a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: hmm i guess orson? he was ok until he became a kleptomaniac and started blackmailing bree lmao
a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: again i guess bree/orson. i never really cared that much but they were ok. i don’t have anyone else agfgfdgf
my ultimate favorite character™: bree with lynette a close second
prettiest character: i’m biased to say bree because i love redheads. but also gaby and katherine.
my most hated character: susan mayer, she can choke
my OTP: from canon ships lynette/tom were always my favorite but i also love bree/katherine as an au ship
my NOTP: susan/mike just because i fucking detest susan. bree/rex were also horrible tbh.
favorite episode: i really loved the tornado episode and the one with the supermarket shooting. idk honestly, binge watching it made all the episodes kind of blur together but these two came to mind.
saddest death: im probably gonna say edie but i thought mike’s was sad too
favorite season: im gonna say season 4 purely because that focused on katherine and i am such a huge katherine stan. she’s literally my favorite after bree and lynette.
least favorite season: eh season 7. idk nothing about that season’s storyline grabbed me. i did enjoy seeing paul back because i actually like his character but the whole storyline just didn’t work for me that much, and the housewives’ storylines were kinda meh too
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: honestly i only hate susan and as far as i know many people dislike her too so?
my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: edie? lbr everyone on this show is kinda problematic
my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave: katherine mayfair
my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship: i don’t really have one
my ‘they’re kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i’m not too invested’ ship: carlos/gaby
send me a fandom and i’ll tell you…

3. rant. just do it
Okay, here goes nothing.
Americans annoy me with their high hourse TV plot writing these days. Like, yeah, just as any other sane person, I know that your guys’ government putting human beings into cages and separating children from their parents and basically Third Reiching it up in there is really terrifyingly bad - as a German, I might even get that a little bit more than some others.
But I’m... I’m really tired of them doing this “what is happening right now is Really Very Bad and we will whack you over the head with that in your fun escapism TV show”.
Because look. If I’d... If I’d want to engage with this terrifying shit going on, I’d be right now watching the news. Not Supergirl. Not Legends of Tomorrow.
I, like many others, watch TV as a means of escapism. Especially shows about idiot timetravelers and aliens who are unrecognizable when they put on glasses.
That a show like Orange is the New Black that is set and grounded in this reality and actually deals with prison conditions and has tackled these type of injustices from the get-go addresses it makes a whole lot of sense and fits the theme.
But every single show turning into “we shouldn’t treat other beings who are just like us but have slight differences and may come from a different place like they are below us!!!” is... it’s exhausting.
Not everybody watching this is American. It’s not like we can do anything to help. And, let’s be really really clear: A show that is so damn heavy on feminism and LGBT themes has long since lost any of the viewers whose hearts and minds these kind of plotlines are meant to change. No Straight White Male Republican Racist is still watching a show with half the cast being POC and LGBT and female. The only people you’re reaching are the people who absolutely know that what is happening is wrong and terrifying.
And what makes it more frustrating was that Supergirl in particular was always very out of this world; quite literally. They opted, after Trump was elected, to put a female president onto that Earth. A reasonable, wise woman who works for the rights of others. And that made this show all the more wonderful and all the more escapism from this reality because it was literally presented as a better alternate Earth to ours. That they had to get her impeached to replace her with a Straight White Male Racist so you can hammer the metaphor of aliens = immigrants in was... not necessary, not on that world.
And especially not with the exact same message running course on three different shows that share one universe -  because yeah, the whole “metahumans are different than us and are being murdered” thing is the same tune, you just exchanged alien/magical creature with metahuman there.
I just... It’s too much. I get tight-chested every single time I have to face another horrible, inhumane, Hitleresque thing that Trump said or did. I don’t need you to whack me over the head with thinly veiled metaphors.
Especially since you’re not even doing it in a creative way. The bad guy is the Old White Man, while most of the aliens and magical creatures that are prominently features are played by actors of color, just in case anyone was still missing the metaphor. It’s... It’s not even clever writing.
And I don’t... I just... Honestly, I actually find it kind of offensive that writers think we need a metaphor where the immigrants are literal aliens. Like, humans do this shit to other humans. That you’re pretending that “oh no they are doing this to aliens while all humans hold together” is... even more unrealistic than the whole premise of Supergirl to begin with, to be quite frank.
It’d even be... fine. Durable. If it were one show only but to be whacked over the head with the exact same message on multiple shows running parallel is really tiresome actually.
I get it. I know what you’re saying. I agree. And so does the whole entire damn rest of the audience. Because if they didn’t get the whole point of Superman and Supergirl literally being refugees on Earth and them LITERALLY being created by Jewish men during WWII and if they weren’t racist enough to stop watching when two black men became superheroes and if they weren’t homophobic enough when one of the main characters came out as a lesbian and started very explicitely to have a relationship with another woman and if they weren’t transphobic enough to quit when you introduced a trans character to the main cast and if they weren’t misogynistic enough to just straight up quit this majorly female-led feminist show on season one, then honestly you’re barking up the wrong tree there.
7. opinion on… Charmed
THIS WAS MY FIRST BIG OBSESSION! *^*
Oh, I loved Charmed - literally all of my walls, including my ceiling, were plastered with posters of the show! I did the puppy-dog eyes at anyone who bought teen magazines back then, I got cut-out articles about it every time it was somewhere, I still have self-recorded VHS tapes with the entire show in my closet.
I even wrote my very first fanfiction for this show, back then ink on paper in a journal because we’re talking pre-Phoe-is-allowed-on-the-internet-age, I had my first next gen OC line-up for that show.
And it was, to date, the only ever where I actually also got invested in the actors. Particularly Alyssa Milano. And if I saw anything where Alyssa Milano or Julian McMahon were in, I watched it, not even caring what it was, because I loved them so much.
I mean, I’ve always loved witches, you know? But this show just hit everything for me. Back then I really related to Phoebe the most, because she was the youngest and thus most relatable for pre-teen me, she was kind of a screw-up who didn’t really know what she was doing. I always wanted big sisters like Piper and Prue.
Many of my favorite tropes were first introduced to me there. Seriously, this show is why I love a good “everybody lives together”. A team as a family, by blood and also beyond that.
Them killing off Prue killed me. I cried so hard so long back then.
And also this is like the only show ever where I got incredibly invested in the canon ships. Leo/Piper, Cole/Phoebe, Andy/Prue. All. The. Way. Obviously, canon broke my heart twice but that doesn’t mean I can’t live in eternal denial.
It’s also the first time I encountered a TV show overstaying its welcome, because that last season was absolutely unnecessary, start to finish. The season before that had the perfect finale - the sisters, getting to live a normal life, then that little wink by the door closing just like Prue’s powers used to close it, it put tears in my eyes and had me incredibly content. Then they had to add a blonde Mary-Sue to the mix and go on for another season and just nope.
And yes, you notice my focus on Prue. I love her. She still remains my second favorite after Phoebe and I will admit I never quite warmed up to Paige and would have preferred if the whole... actor fall out hadn’t happened and Prue could have continued on in the show. So, that’s my favorite part of it; back when Prue was alive and Cole was also still alive.
18. rant about your favorite musician
...At this point, I am thinking that maybe you should have asked each number in a separate ask because this thing is long.
But okay, I actually do have something to rant about there!
HOW DOES THE YOUTH TODAY NOT UNDERSTAND PUNK. URGH.
A few weeks back, my favorite musician was on TV. There was a music event, I think it was a benefit and also a peaceful protest, led by him, among others, and before it, he stepped up to the mic to say a few words and I was watching that with my grandparents and my brother and he just went “Urgh, that guy again. Why does he have to be everywhere? And why is he talking about this? It’s none of his business, he should just do music”.
Like.
No.
Campino is a punk. Die Toten Hosen is a punk rock band.
Protesting the government and what is wrong with society is literally what punk does. Punk is only secondarily a music genre. First and foremost, it is a means to be loud and vocal about politics. So to organize a peaceful protest and to speak up about the mistreatment of immigrants in our country is literally what punk should be.
The fact that there’s younger people who don’t know that is terrifying. The fact that younger people in Germany just know Campino as an old musician and not as a punk is also terrifying. Go listen to DTH and study up on punk, please.
35. what does home mean to you?
Ah, finally a short one! xD (Just kidding, I do love ranting!)
Home is where I feel at ease, where I can be myself, where I’m happy. These requirements can be fulfilled outside of my own four walls - it’s like, when I am in London, this incredible sense of home fills me too, surprisingly enough. Gods, I wanna go back to London...

bestie charmed ones ranking??? 🥺🥺🥺
disclaimer: i love ALL of the sisters & don’t hate any of them at all <3 but here’s a ranking since you asked hehe
i’m gonna say it . number one has to be piper thee milf supreme . i have to . i relate the most to her + what she values . i also LOVE a domestic vibe . like i don’t think she became this awful person that i think a lot of people thought she became . i think she just wanted to be Someone and i think when we met her at the beginning of the show, she was really like . Anxious & Unsure Of Herself . which like . so valid it’s been 6 months since grams . your actual best friend . croaked . like . you know, ,, , so i think she was reeling from that & i think it messed her up a bit to be with jeremy but he was only with her for her powers & then everything with dan n leo was Wack like i don’t think she was Playing them . i think she was quite confused bc she hadn’t felt That loved before so she was just a bit messed up n figuring her emotions out . and then like . she just wanted to have normal family life with leo & while she couldn’t have that ultimately bc of what they do, she always sacrificed it so that the others could be witches & stuff. anyway . she’s my fav . i loved watching her become a wife n mother n still be a successful business owner while managing a household. so she is my number one for that. she should have gotten 2 see a professional 4 her mental health bc ... i think she deserves to finally grieve grams & patty & prue. i just feel sad 4 her yk like she wanted a big family but they all got taken away from her and she was always the one left behind. like idk her in the manor at the end of s8 like sobbing ,,, like that’s the One Place you’ve been able to call Home & just like that . it’s like . all gone . she literally just wanted to have a bunch of kids & be a good mother bc she never really got that </3
prue is my next fav bc i think she was a strong character . like . did she follow what i wanted in my life ? no . but she was still like . a really good person yk. she fought for her family & just wanted the best for them ... she risked her life all the time & kinda reminds me of dr. williamson in that way like . she didn’t really focus on having a relationship until both piper & phoebe were “okay” and that was realized at piper’s wedding . like she had this whole thing about like . oh god i’m not doing anything with my life !!! but honey sweetie . you took great care of phoebe and piper & i KNOW she did her best with piper . like in coyote piper she literally was like . uh if i lose piper then i lose everything . so do with that what you will . but no like . prue didn’t let herself get “lost” in a relationship, she focused on honing her craft & fighting for the greater good. she had a goal and that was to bring good to the world . and i’d say she did that. i love her for how quick she was to help everyone around her & i get sad @ how she ended up but also like . you died while saving others so i have so much respect for u !! idk i think she’s happy where she is & she’s able to continue watching out for her family & i know she’s always there w them regardless . like genuinely. i think she did watch piper become a mother & she made sure phoebe felt loved in her darkest moments & she guided paige a bit as she learned . so she’s still like an angel <3
third is paige bc listen. i think she really was out here like . trying her absolute best . i relate a ton to what she was going through in terms of having a calling to do something . like doing social work & teaching . like ME . i get it honey . and she spent a lot of time just doing her thing, not really focusing on dating much until the end of the show. she had some people here n there but nothing like big . you know . and like . she felt so inferior to prue & she looked up to her in many ways but wasn’t trying to replace her which i never felt that she was a replacement bc that’s Wack . but she still tried her best to fill in this big hole that was left & that’s such a hard time to enter into any situation ... like the girls lost their sister & now she was coming in when they weren’t that ready to meet someone new AND they were unveiling these big family secrets like oh btw here’s a new sister bc ur mom slept w her whitelighter !!! like . that’s so awk so i get how hard it was for her & she still learned & was super dedicated to the craft & she Wanted to mess up and Learn & just be a Human Being . which is so important in tv and i rlly love her for that .
last & certainly not least is phoebe just bc i think i relate to her the least . like . i love how enthusiastic she was in the beginning of the show bc she really was trying her best to not be a screw up like she thought prue thought she was. and she was navigating moving home after nyc which is difficult . she came home to her sisters grieving but having to still keep moving on which is rough bc she left bc she couldn’t be around the place after what happened. and i kinda feel like she got the short end of the stick for that. like she ... couldn’t be there & everyone grieves differently & she was so young like she hadn’t gone to uni yet so idk i think she gets a lot of hate for that even though it was how she was choosing to cope. i think the big thing that i’m not a fan of is her obsessive search for love & a child . like i get it . if i had a vision quest & saw that in my future ... uh yeah i’d be really curious myself . so i can’t totally speak on that . but like . it would have been nice to see her be like . i know my future will be good . i’m going to hone my craft & be a responsible person & my time will come . like i think i just wanted her to relax for a minute yk . but no like she was terrified of being evil & that messed with her esp in s5 & my heart goes out 2 her like . that’s terrifying & she actually needed piper to talk her down so i get it. like. damn. but she was still a wonderful person & so caring of other people like phoebe just . knew how to love people & she even loved Evil . like . the girl had so much love in her heart . she just wanted to love & be loved in return !!

Reading a Charmed fanfic so good that I’m already thinking about Seasons 2 through 8 and even the future.  I am thinking of what changes will happen due to Paige having been a part of the family since the girls were kids/teens, Prue & Andy won’t die, Andy has a supernatural destiny, the girls’ powers are already expanding, and what will be the significance of the Power of Four in the Charmed Ones’ lives.  The author has stated that Prue/Andy and Piper/Leo are her favorite Charmed couples and will still be important to the story.  But what will Phoebe and Paige’s love lives be like?  Will Cole and Phoebe’s love still be doomed and he doomed to be vanquished?  Will she still marry Coop the Cupid in the 8th Season?  And will Paige still end up with Henry, or will things go better for witch Richard or FBI agent (turned whitelighter) Kyle Brody?  Will the girls have four children each now?  Will the Charmed Season 9 & 10 comics be referenced or erased from canon?  Will Phoebe’s unborn son by Cole live?  Or will he still die, but more emotional drama and consequences come from it that the show didn’t discuss?  Will Prue still be married first, but to Andy instead of warlock Zile in a dark ceremony?  How do things look in the “Morality Bites” future?  And so many more questions!
I really need this author to write more in her Power of Four series, as she only has one season written.  I try to leave comments and questions in each chapter in hope that she will reply or be inspired to write more in the near future.
