The Great Omegateez AU part 2: Yunho x Mingi

About a month before Hongjoong's due date, Mingi and Yunho decide to go on a private vacation. Hongjoong is determined to take a proper paternity leave after he has the baby (even if he wasnt, Seonghwa would probably force him to take a break for at least a couple of weeks), so Mingi will be on his own to put the final touches on a handful of songs they've been working on for a new idol group. They dont want to risk being gone when the baby arrives, and Yunho wants to make sure Mingi gets a proper rest before taking on such a large taskload, so roughly a month out they pack up and fly off for a tropical holiday back in the Maldives where they'd had their wedding.

It's just as gorgeous as they remember, and without the stress of a wedding they're able to enjoy it fully with no worries on their mind. Even one of Mingi's sporadic mini-heats doesn't detract from their relaxation. They'd honestly planned to spend at least one day doing nothing but fucking and sleeping so the timing is actually perfect, and Yunho is all too happy to bend his mate over the bed and fuck him until he's limp with contentment. That evening as the setting sun beams golden light into their room, Yunho looks down at his husband and feels his heart flip in his chest. His husband nestled into his arms, one of Mingi's legs slung over his hips and Yunhos knot still buried inside, mating bit freshly renewed. Mingi's even purring as he dozes, something he only does at his absolute most relaxed. Yunho doesn't think life could get any better.

The rest of their vacation is perfect, lots of sun and sea and a fair bit of sex, and part of Yunho doesn't want to leave, but he knows a different kind of adventure is waiting at home with the impending arrival of their new pack member.

Now, two weeks after returning home, that perfect peaceful state seems like a lifetime ago when he finds Mingi in the bathroom one morning, hands braced against the counter, staring down at a bit of plastic and reeking of distress.

"Princess? Whats wrong?"

Mingi doesnt answer other than to pull Yunho closer and wrap himself in his strong arms.

"I keep dreaming about baby ducks, which is stupid and shouldn't mean anything, but with Hongjoong and Wooyoung talking baby stuff all the time, I just couldn't shake the feeling that I had to check." Mingi mutters finally.

Yunho leans over a bit to look down at the piece of plastic. A pregnancy test. A positive one. Immediately Yunho's stomach twists with a rush of conflicting emotions. Does he want kids? Yes, absolutely. But does he want them now? Truthfully, he's been ready for years, even before they got married. As long as he was with Mingi anytime was fine. But is Mingi ready? Yunho knows Mingi has a complicated relationship with his secondgender. It had taken him a long time to get to a place where he felt like he was in control of his body, not his omega instincts, and that battle had played a large part in his worsening anxiety when they were younger. He's been on the strongest suppressants he can get for years. Yunho doesnt remember that last time he had a regular full heat instead of the sporadic day-long micro-heats he has once or twice a year. On top of that hes been on birth control for practically forever. If Mingi had wanted to get pregnant he would have needed to stop those medications, and Yunho knows that he hasn't. This...this clearly wasn't Mingis choice, and that's the part that upsets Yunho. But he can't deny that he wants a baby with Mingi. If he's already pregnant they might as well.... no. He feels a little sick at the train of thought. It's Mingis body, Mingi needs to make whatever decision is best for his own health without Yunho pressuring him.

When Yunho asks what he wants to do Mingi shrugs. It's a big shock, and theres a lot to think about. Yunho promises that whatever Mingi decides, he'll support, and he spends the rest of his morning making sure his husband is settled and doesnt start to spiral into a panic.

They don't really talk about it after that. Yunho throws himself into his pro-gaming to keep his mind busy while Mingi buries himself in new projects in the studio. Yunho spends more time focusing on keeping his scent in check than he has since their idol days, trying hard not to blast the apartment with the scent of excitement. He can smell the way Mingi's emotions are running wild since the test and he doesnt want to pressure him, even indirectly, and he's doing his best to be a strong grounding presence through his husband's turmoil.

This turns out to be the wrong move.

Another week goes by before things come to a head. Mingi comes home just a few hours after leaving for the studio in a whirlwind of slammed doors and stomping feet. It's completely unlike him and Yunho pulls his headphones off in alarm. The smell of absolute anguish wafts through the air, brackish and sour on the back of Yunho's tongue. He hears the shower sputter to life and tries the bathroom door, but it's locked. Whatever happened is hitting mingi hard. There's nothing to do but wait, and Yunho paces the hallway anxiously. Finally the shower cuts off. Between the sounds of Mingi shuffling around and drying off Yunho can hear choked-off sobs and quiet sniffles, and his heart breaks. The lock clicks and the door opens and Mingi jumps a little, not expecting his husband to be right there in the doorway. Yunho gives him the puppydog eyes reserved only for him, and Mingi melts into his arms with a fresh wave of tears.

"Mingi, baby, whats wrong?" Yunho rubs a hand soothingly down his back. "Whats got you so rattled, princess?"

Mingi mumbles something into his neck that he can't make out, and Yunho hums questioningly, nuzzling the side of his mate's head.

"Why dont you want to have a baby with me?" Mingi repeats.

Oh.

Oh god.

The heartache he felt hearing Mingi cry is nothing compared to the pain Yunho feels as it sinks in just how badly he's fucked this up.

"I do. God, I promise I do Mingi. You have no idea how much I want kids with you."

"Then why aren't you happy? Ever since that test you've barely touched me, you hide your scent from me, and when you don't you smell so upset it makes me sick." Mingi shudders in between his crying. "It's like you don't even want me anymore."

That has Yunho breaking into tears right along with his mate.

"Oh, Mingi. My precious Mingi. I've always wanted you. I've always wanted kids with you. Nothing could make me stop wanting you. I've been ready for years but I wanted it to be your decision. I know how important it is for you to be in control of your body and I didn't want you to feel like you had to go through with it just to make me happy. I want this baby so fucking bad it hurts." He squeezes Mingi tight, trying to squeeze every last doubt from his body.

"Really?"

"I promise. The ONLY thing I would change right now, is I would want us to be having a baby on purpose, because you wanted it, not as a birth control fluke. Having a family with you is all I've wanted since the day we met."

A tearful giggle shakes mingis shoulders.

"You had a crush on me in high school? What a loser."

"Yeah," Yunho laughs wetly, "I had a big fat loser crush on you. Doodled our names together in my notebook and everything. And now we're married so HA! I win."

They take a few moments to gather themselves before Yunho pulls Mingi back to their bedroom for a nap, insisting that they needed to restart the day after a short rest. They have longer conversation while they doze, and Mingi admits the last straw was him getting into a fight with Hongjoong at the studio. He's been feeling unsettled in his body since finding out he's pregnant, and that plus the stress of their communication mishap had left him in a sour mood, which clashed badly with Hongjoong's bad mood as he became increasingly uncomfortable being so close to his due date. It's entirely understandable, but Mingi still feels bad, and he'll be sure to make up with his friend soon enough. Right now though, he's wrapped in his husband's strong arms and surrounded by Yunho's scent, almost too sweet now that he's stopped hiding how happy he is about the baby, and Mingi has to admit that a short nap and restart to the day sounds like the best idea he's heard in a while.

An hour or so later Yunho wakes to the feeling of Mingi nuzzling against his mating bite and placing wet kisses all down his throat.

"Mmm, somebody's frisky. Feel beter?"

Mingi hums in agreement.

"I have a plan."

"Yeah? What's that?"

"You're gonna fuck me right here, right now, and we're going to pretend this was on purpose."

Yunho is suddenly much more awake and he rolls them over to prop himself up over his husband. Mingi's already pantsless and half hard and he wraps his long legs around his husband's waist. "Come on, Yuyu. Lets make a baby."

When they reach the top of the dune, Hermann pauses, shifting his tote bag in his hand and eyeing the ocean apprehensively. It’s a beautiful day, particularly for a beach trip, clear and breezy out—though looking at Hermann, you'd think otherwise. It’s hot as shit but it sure as hell beats sweating their asses off back in their little rental cottage. Newt should’ve known that anything being advertised as having a vintage chic aesthetic was actually code for no A/C but we’ll provide you with a single window fan that hasn’t worked right in twenty years, but it was cheap, and it was within the budget the PPDC set for them, and Newt already can’t believe they agreed to fund an actual vacation for the two of them, so he’ll take it over a cramped hotel room. Probably an apology present for making them stay in medical for observation for like, three weeks. You drift with a hivemind twice and people start acting like you might snap at any moment. Ridiculous.

Anyway, he understands how Hermann feels, at least. Oceans have been kind of a no-go for the last decade, between the giant aliens and the pollution from the giant aliens. He’s definitely still going to be annoying about it. “What, are you worried another Breach opened up in the Atlantic or something?” he says.

Hermann rolls his eyes, and Newt's heart soars a little. It feels good, like things are still exactly as they should be, to still be able to get a rise out of Hermann with bare minimum effort. “Hardly,” Hermann says. “I was merely taking in the—er—the pleasant scenery.”

Newt looks back at the ocean. Waves, a few seagulls, some long-haired hippie-looking dudes tackling the current with brightly colored surfboards. “You’re checking out the surfers, aren’t you?” he says. “I guess they’re pretttttty hot. Do you go for that thing? Do you want me to grow my hair out even more?” He runs his fingers through his own hair, left untrimmed in the months it’s been since the world didn’t end and slowly on its way to resembling the incredibly unstylish mullet he had when his band was still together. Part of him wants to let it reach that stage just to see what Hermann would do. Cut it off in his sleep? Drag him by the collar of his shirt to a barber shop? Then again, it’s not like Hermann is Dr. Expert Grooming Choices either. He might actually like it.

“Oh, don’t even joke,” Hermann says, though his eyes do trail after the tanned, toned abs of one of the surfers in particular. Newt relieves Hermann of his tote bag, tucking it over his shoulder with his own and their umbrella bag, and takes his hand with a grin.

“I’ll sign up for lessons,” he says. “C’mon, I wanna set up the umbrella before it gets any hotter.”

He helps Hermann navigate down the uneven dune, and then, once he spreads one of their beach blankets out in a nice secluded spot a little bit further down from the surfers, helps Hermann down onto that. Very very secluded. Not because he’s afraid of eye-candy competition or anything like that (he knows he’d demolish anyone who posed a challenge, obviously), but because he doesn’t want to get conked over the head and drown or whatever if one of the surfers loses control of their board. (Plus, Hermann gets shy about PDA, and Newt saw him brush his teeth before they left, which means he might get lucky and score some makeouts.) Then comes the arduous task of putting up the umbrella. First he’s got to dig the hole—then he’s got to twist and twist the sand grabber until he can’t go any deeper—then he’s got to put in the second half of the pole— Hermann watches him with an amused, smug-adjacent smile while Newt sweats and grunts and curses, practically posing on the beach blanket in the shade of his outrageous sunhat.

Hermann's picked a truly bizarre outfit to wear today, one that screams wine mom on a cruise, a complete incongruence with everything else Newt knows about the man. The sunhat compliments a pair of flowy linen pants, a matching linen shirt-blouse-thing, and a pair of transition lenses, on a chain, almost identical to his regular glasses. He’s swapped his Oxfords (thank God for that) with a pair of orthopedic sandals. Not a swimsuit in sight. When Newt asked him about why the hell he owned the ensemble in the first place back when they were getting ready in the rental, he just shook his head at Newt, and said, slowly and solemnly, “Skin cancer is no laughing matter, Newton.”

It's really kind of tragic. Newt would never admit this to anyone, of course, but one of the reasons he picked the beach as their vacation destination was so he could catch a glimpse of a little luminously pale Gottliebian skin. See what Hermann’s hiding under all those layers. Hermann’s reluctance to satiate his curiosity is doing nothing to dispel Newt’s suspicions that the guy might secretly be a vampire, though at least his shyness extends beyond broad sunlight—he’s only let Newt see him without an undershirt twice when they've fooled around together. Those memories sustain Newt now like water for a man dying of thirst. “Almost done,” he grunts, patting sand in a small mound over the base of the umbrella. Hermann makes a face at him when he leaps to his feet.

“Ugh. Newton, you’re getting it everywhere,” he says, and brushes off what must be no more than two grains of sand from the corner of his blanket. “What a mess.” Newt suppresses the urge to level a kick at the sand and really give Hermann a mess to complain about—no beach make-outs for assholes, he reminds himself. He really wants some beach make-outs. Even if Hermann is being a little bit of a princess over everything.

“Sorry, babe,” he says instead, and, after he gets the umbrella lifted up, falls down to his knees to brush off the rest of the pretend grains from the blanket. Though still mourning the lost opportunity of ogling Hermann’s sexy skin, he contents himself with grazing a hand up Hermann’s linen-clad calf and enjoying the little shudder it produces in him. He flutters his eyelashes. “Is that better?”

Hermann smiles and pats his head. Newt flushes, just a little. Hermann's payback for the calf-stroke. “Well done, thank you, Newton. Now,” he digs around in his tote bag and pulls out a comically large bottle of sunblock, the SPF the type you would use on a toddler. (Yet another point for Hermann=vampire.) “Would you like me to put sunscreen on you?” He opens the bottle and squirts a little out into his hand. The noise is unbearably unsexy, like the dregs of a half-empty ketchup bottle, but Hermann’s eyelids are at half-mast as he looks at Newt and rubs the lotion slowly between his palms, and it makes Newt feel kinda warm and shivery. Well. Warmer. He's already pretty sweaty.

“Um. I brought spray-on stuff,” Newt says.

“I’ll be much more thorough than that,” Hermann says. Newt shucks off his loose floral button-down quickly.

Unfortunately, it turns out Hermann isn’t speaking euphemistically. Rather than the slow, sexy back massage Newt had been expecting, maybe with a few kisses or two (if Hermann was feeling it), he gets a shit-ton of cold sunblock slapped haphazardly across his skin by Hermann’s equally cold hands, while Hermann himself gets increasingly grumpy at him for ‘moving too much’. “Keep still,” he snaps. “You’re worse than a bloody toddler. Look, you made me get some on my shirt, you horrid creature."

“I want to swiiiiiim,” Newt whines, wriggling in Hermann’s cold, lotiony grasp. “Are you almost done?”

He shuts up when Hermann reaches a hand around his front and rubs at his abdomen. For a second, at least: it becomes clear (when Hermann squeezes the life out of the lotion bottle again) that he’s not doing it for sexy reasons, but to make sure Newt’s stomach is SPF ten millioned up too. “There,” Hermann finally declares, and wipes his hands off on his linen pants. He does squeeze Newt's waist in parting, though, which feels nice. “You ought to wait fifteen minutes before you go swimming. It needs to set."

“Fifteen minutes,” Newt says. He hums, mock-thoughtful, and glances back at Hermann with a little smile. “What can we do for fifteen minutes?”

“You can put some on me,” Hermann says brightly.

A dutiful fifteen minutes later, Newt trudges into the ocean. It's pretty freezing, actually, a little too much so to be wholly refreshing, and Newt finds himself fighting the current before he’s even made it in up to his knees. Shivering, he calls back to Hermann, “You’re missing out, dude!”

“I’m perfectly content here,” Hermann responds. He looks like some sort of diva-movie star spread out on his little beach blanket, floppy sunhat and linen clothing flapping in the breeze. He flips a page of a book. Light reading, he told Newt earlier while hiding the cover with his hand, which either means it’s something wildly boring (some sort of astrophysics textbook, probably something out of date, because Hermann gets a weird kick out of correcting errors in stuff like that with red pen) or wildly filthy (like the stack of romance novels with shredded shirtless dudes embracing on the cover Newt saw piled up on his nightstand when he busted into Hermann’s bunk to borrow toothpaste one time). The thought of Hermann doing light reading, of relaxing for once, is actually kind of cute. If it’s something dirty, Newt kind of wants to ask him to read some aloud to him later. 

“Enjoying the view?” Newt calls again to be annoying. He flexes one bicep, then poses with both flexed, like some sort of big bodybuilder dude. “I know I’m irr—”

He gets knocked over by a wave. He reacts in time to snatch up his glasses before they get washed away entirely, at least, but it’s little consolation to put them back on when he re-emerges through the sea foam (soaked, dripping, and with sand in various uncomfortable places) and realizes Hermann’s doing a shitty job of hiding a massive grin behind his book. (Which Newt thinks is a romance novel after all.) What a total bitch. 

The sun is hot and high overhead, and Newt jumps waves for a little bit before the skin on his face goes from pleasantly warm to unpleasantly tingly. He doesn’t burn very easily—not as much as Hermann—but he can feel Hermann’s concern that he hasn’t left the water to reapply sunblock yet prickling at the back of his brain. (Drift leftovers, man, why can't they get any of the good stuff.) He’s overdue to annoy Hermann again, anyway, and so he takes great pleasure in dragging himself out of the water and plopping down directly in front of Hermann on the blanket.

“Hi, babe,” he says.

Hermann lowers his book with a smile. “Look at you,” he says. “Scarcely an hour, and you’re already tan as anything." He reaches out and brushes a slender finger across Newt's nose, and Newt wrinkles it at the touch. "Your freckles are quite adorable.”

“Aw, thanks,” Newt says. “You look really hot, you know.”

“Oh?” Hermann says. His smile widens, and he preens a little, straightening his hat and lowering his transition lenses so that Newt can see the crinkling corners of his eyes. “Thank you.”

“Suuuuuper hot,” Newt says. “Too hot, actually. Let me help with that.”

“Oh?” Hermann says. “Oh. No, Newton, don’t! Don’t you dare—” He bats at Newt with his novel, but grinning and undeterred, Newt worms two wet and freezing hands under Hermann’s billowy shirt and leans in to give him a big kiss, soaking his clothing with seawater immediately. “Newton,” Hermann scolds against his mouth, but he returns the kiss and lets Newt push him down onto his back happily and without complaint. The novel drops to the blanket, where Newt promptly drips all over it too. He plucks Hermann’s glasses off entirely and tosses them aside.  

“Much better,” Newt says. Drip, drip. Hermann's hair is wet with seawater.

“You’re a wretched little man,” Hermann says, but he presses a hand to the small of Newt’s back.

Lockdown for Covid-19 March 27th

I guess I'm writing the story of my life...?

Things are better. Last night was rough because of depression and anxiety... I got to thinking why do I do this to myself? To be honest there is a lot I don't share with people and as a result I tend to break down at random times. I'm not looking for pity, more just friends... People who get it. I'm glad I started to post more on here as it feels sorta like a diary. And maybe right now that's what I need. Even if no one reads this that's ok.

Maybe I will just spell it all out. See what comes from it. So here it goes.

I haven't had a bad life. I'm only 23 but it just feels like a long life with many extra bumps in it... Things just manage not to go the way id like it to most of the time. So now I'm just used the noise. I had a good childhood but many many memories of a broken family. An angry dad (not necessarily towards us kids) a mom who coped with alcohol. I often took care of my siblings as the eldest of five. And there are many other things I won't mention... It was hard. It was dysfunctional. We'd have money then didn't. We'd have food then didn't. We'd have a week of no fighting with my parents and then they would be at each other's throats the next several weeks. We'd have moments of joy but usually short-lived moments. I'm not saying it was all bad. I have good memories too. Singing Taylor Swift songs to my mini laptop webcam is a memory I have. Making music with my brother was a good memory I have. And spending time with friends too.. it wasn't all bad...

Fast forward to about 3 years ago I thought I met the love of my life. Things seemed fine. But it was the calm before the storm. After my ex and I got together things sorta slowly started to get worse. My dad didn't support my relationship. He thought we were moving too fast. My mom wasnt happy and coped with more alcohol. And even tho they had briefly separated a couple years before I thought they wouldn't ever get divorced. Well I was wrong...

My ex and I tried so hard to make our relationship work. And I think I pushed things because I wanted some kind of happy ending. Most of my friends had gotten married or were in happy relationships. This was my first real relationship. So I thought this could be the last. There were constant fights and bitterness started to grow between us... We were co-dependent. We tried to live on our own but due to a mental illness he had, he had a hard time keeping a job. So we were just CONSTANTLY STRUGGLING. It just became not a safe place anymore. We did get engaged after about a year. My dad didn't agree and we didn't have any wedding help. My friends tried to help but it was almost like people didn't take us seriously. Which hurt because I was always there for them whether I agreed with their decisions or not. My mom straight up left my Dad and moved into her own place. I was in between a lot when it came to my mom and dad. Trying to help them to get along for my sister's sake. But there were many fights or my mom getting so drunk that the police were called... DISCLAIMER: I want to say. My parents aren't bad parents. They're just broken.

My ex and I were under so much never-ending stress. We broke up and got back together several times. It was awful. Words were said, feelings were hurt, then we'd forgive and start all over again. I like to think that was the burning Red Taylor was talking about. We loved each other so much. But it wasn't a healthy lifestyle. You lose yourself. You lose who you want to be just so you can help keep the other person from drowning. After two years my parents were officially getting divorced. My dad had gone through severe depression so I moved into his place because I honestly was afraid he would kill himself. That was rough. I had also briefly moved into my moms to help her. This was the breaking point for her. And I had to get my sisters who were living with her at the time and help them to pack up and leave. They no longer wanted to be there. Leaving her behind and closing her apartment door while glimpsing her looking so sad was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Time went on. We finally got through that. I got through that.

During this time I had lost friends. Or at least we didn't talk much anymore. I think they just didn't know how to approach me. And I know they didn't mean it. I was in a place where I couldn't be reached. Later my mom had left our state of NC and moved about 45 mins away to SC with her new Boyfriend. We like him. He's nice. And she's doing so much better! My dad had met a lady and got engaged rather quickly in my opinion lol. But as long as he's happy. When things finally started to calm down a bit with my family the damage had already been done in my relationship. It wouldn't stop. The fighting the arguing. Even after we had moved to our own little house. But it was still my home. I had my cats and my own space. I loved it. Well, back in November a huge fight had occurred and we believed we shouldn't be living together for the time being. I moved in with my grandmother.. I went back and forth a lot. Set up for Christmas and we even got to go on a little vacation. I hadn't been on a vacation in so long. Yet again, it was the calm before another storm. One night in December, the Friday before Christmas (my absolute favorite holiday) I got a call. It was my ex. He said he couldn't do it anymore. And that he was breaking up with me. He said he couldn't tell me face to face because it would be too hard and he probably would change his mind. And I cried. And begged him not too. This all happened after a particularly hard argument we had the day before. Where I had done something wrong and I did apologize for it. But it just wasn't enough... And that was it. The end of my 2-year whirlwind relationship. I was heartbroken. He got really angry and was just saying really mean things to me. Personal things that really affected me. I had to go get all my stuff. Leave one of my kitties behind and give the other one up because I couldn't bring her with me. She is rehomed to one of my best friends. She had been there through pretty much all of it. I'm so grateful I have her. I saw my ex went on a date after 3 weeks. And yeah. It was awful. I felt like the scum of the earth.

And I thought that was it... Hahaha It wasn't. I missed my period for the whole month of January. I didn't even think anything of it. Then I finally took a test. And LOW AND BEHOLD it was positive. My whole life took a fucking turn in one second and I was literally losing my mind. So yeah. Fast forward to now. I'm 16 weeks. Working through my severe depression and anxiety. I had had plans to really work on myself but now that I'm pregnant you can't really take many medications during this time. And that's very hard as I have trouble functioning normally day today... I was looking for a job for months and when I finally found one Covid-19 showed its ugly head and I lost that job. And now I'm here. Not sure of how I'm going to provide for this baby. But the father and I have much a better relationship then we've ever had. We are not back together tho. There's still struggles and obstacles but at this point it's just part of my life. So that's it more or less. That's where I'm at now. I'm very grateful that even tho my family isn't together we all still show up for each other. And even tho I sometimes still get stuck between my dad and moms problems they're still alive and well. And now I have a baby. Which was my ultimate dream. I guess I just want to know that I can provide a really good life for it. As these are not the circumstances I had wished for myself. And that it's childhood is better than my childhood or even my ex's. He struggled too... I'm scared right now because I can't work and I'm constantly battling these demons. But at the same time I know somehow it'll all work out... Eventually... You know what I hope for myself tho? That I find a love that's golden. Not red.

I always told myself I wouldn’t be the girl in a toxic relationship. That if I saw red flags I’d run. Run away fast.

But I didn’t.

The start of mine and Justins relationship was fun! The honeymoon phase was amazing. I got surprised with candle light dinners, picnics in my living room, fraps left in the fridge to surprise me when I got home. We were with each other 24/7.

All of that came to an adrupt stop when I wouldn’t move in with him. I told him I was going to (after we had been together for 2 months) but in the pit of my stomach I knew I shouldn’t. We had been looking at apartments and we had signed to start a lease and I backed out at the last second. I knew he’d be upset.. but I didn’t think he would take it to this level. He got mean. He stopped being nice to me, stopped surprising me, stopped everything.

I was confused and upset at why he was so mad. After that day, everything had changed. He wasn’t sweet anymore. He was hateful. He wouldn’t text me back. He wouldn’t call me.i went to Florida for Family vacation and he didn’t call me or answer my phone calls one time. He didn’t miss me at all. He didn’t want to talk to me at all.

I remember coming home and being so heartbroken over it. I confronted him about it and at first he acted like it was nothing, but once he realized I was truly upset he jumped in and started to apologize to me and started trying to smooth things over. I put up with this kind of shit for 6 months.

Six months.

It took me six months to finally get the courage to say enough. Six freakin months. I’m not mad at myself for this. Just disappointed.

I remember that day so well. I walked into the our place of work after not hearing from him for 4 days.. and I walked straight up to him looked him in the eyes and said,” We need to talk now.”

I said it with such a strong voice that I almost didn’t recognize myself. He tried to make up an excuse and I wasn’t having it.

Finally he reluctantly agreed and we walked to the break room.

I was fidgeting and stumbling over my words and my voice was cracking.

I finally said it though. “We are done. I am done being treated like shit. We’re done.”

He nodded his head and then he started to cry. He apologized for the way he was acting and how terrible he had been. He loved loved me so much and he couldn’t let me go. It wouldn’t happen again. He’d start communicating better and talking to me more.

I ate it up. The past 6 months of telling me how he wouldn’t kiss me because I was wearing too much make up or how he didnt call me that time while I was in Florida with family or how I heard gunshots outside my apartment window and he wouldn’t come over or let me come over to make me feel more safe went completely out the window.

He loved me though.

After that day things were great. We were doing great! Everyone knows I love Harry Potter and for my birthday he dressed up as Dumbledore and bought me a wand and brought it to me. It was the nerdiest, cutest thing ever.

He was the perfect boyfriend. When I was having a bad day he would do everything possible to make it better. He was the sweetest. He took care of me while I was sick. We were the “IT” couple. Everyone was jealous of us because of how great we were together.

Then he decided he was moving to Austin to go to culinary school and I decided I was going with him. We spent months laughing and giggling and making life long plans. We took a road trip to Austin to find our place and had the best time. He really did treat me so well during this time.

I was going to marry him. I just knew it. We were going to live happily ever after.

At our going away party he surprised me with a video of all my friends saying goodbye to us. I was head over heels, y’all.

And then we got to Austin. Turns out he decided he wasn’t going to school anymore. Things began to change again. The feeling in the pit of my stomach that something is wrong was growing. His anxiety got bad. He started to call into work (red flag), the whole demeanor of our place changed.

Christmas was amazing. We got to go home visit with friends and family. I did not want to go back to Austin. At all. Something wasnt quiet right there and I knew it. I had gained a bunch of weight from emotionally eating everything In sight.

I was super unhappy with life and where I was at.

When I got home to Austin I didn’t stop crying. In fact I cried ever day from January 1st to the beginning of May. Everyday. That is not an exaggeration. That’s not me being dramatic.

It took a toll on our relationship. Our ship that had bullet holes already in it that were only covered up by bandaids was suddenly beginning to peel off. We were sinking and fast.

I desperately clung on. I became very dependent, very clingy (something I have never been), very emotional, very depressed.

He did try to be there for me for the first couple of months. He tried to reason with me on things. He tried to calm me down when I was beginning to have an anxiety attack. He did try.

But then he got a new job. He made new friends. He started to stay out late. He started to not come home. He began to text, snap, talk on the phone with this girl he works with. He would talk about her all the time. I was already very insecure but that drove my insecurity level up high.

I have never, ever been a jealous person. I don’t care if you hang out with your friends. I don’t care if you have a bunch of girls as friends. I honestly don’t care.

But the way he talked about her. The way he would smile when he would get a snap. Drove me to insanity. He stopped all together paying any attention to me.

I became a roommate. I was 100% on my own.

1. I got clingy.

2. I got depressed.

3. I got desperate for any kind of attention whether it was bad or good. (Most of the time it was bad.)

4. I started fights all the time. I wanted to feel something again. And if that meant I was going down in an argument then fine. At least he was talking to me.

I was back to the girl who didn’t stand up for herself. I was back to being the girl that was getting walked all over. I was back to the girl that was allowing him to not respect me.

We had sex on his time and only on his time. If that meant 3 AM when he was coming home from his friends then that meant 3 AM.

We only did things on his time. We hung out only when he wanted too and if I didn’t feel like it then I “wasn’t trying hard enough.” There were days I would look at him at hate him so much.

I was going through a one sided break up. He unknowingly broke up with me and I was trying to deal with it while still living w him.

One night, I lashed out at him. I screamed and screamed until my throat hurt. I was crying hysterically and I couldn’t catch my breathe. I couldn’t think clearly which was normal for me by then. I told him it was over. I couldn’t do this anymore. I was tired. And he didn’t fight back. He didn’t fight back this time. He didn’t fight back because he knew it wasn’t over. This was the 50th time in a month I told him i was done and I never left. So he knew I was overreacting.

He looked at me told me to chill out. And then he said he was leaving and going for a drive.

I flipped.

I begged him not to go. That I was sorry. I was going to get help. I was going to go see if I could be put on medication for my craziness. It’s all my fault. I know it’s all my fault for what’s happening. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry.

The next day I got put on medication. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression and was advised to go see a therapist.

For me in that moment, I needed the medication. I needed something to help me with my panic attacks. I needed someone to talk to that wouldn’t judge Me for staying with him. That would listen to me.

I had a dream after I was put on my medication that I was putting on body armor. Slowly, piece by piece I am putting in armor. My head is down the entire time. I am getting ready to go into battle. And then I wake up.

At this point my relationship with God was almost nonexistent. He didn’t believe in God so I didn’t really talk about God. I stopped worshipping. I stopped talking to God. Cold turkey pulled away. So that dream confused me. I knew it meant something but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

On a Sunday night.. Justin came home for about 30 min. Our relationship had gotten better since I was put on medication. I was feeling more like “me.” I woke up at 3 AM and he still wasn’t home. I called him. No answer. I texted him. No answer.

Immediately, I begin assuming the worst.

I didn’t sleep the rest of the night. Still didn’t hear from him all day. I called into work and everything. I called hospitals and looked up jails all around Austin to see if he got out there for whatever reason.

Finishing My 27th Year

It’s 12am and I have lots on my mine right now. Actually lots on my mind for many days now, but just been feeling all scattered brain to write anything down.  So here is my attempt. I just get overwhelm with all the thoughts that run in my head so that’s why I run away from my thoughts at time and just want to handle it as they come. 

I feel like so much has occurred in the past few weeks into 2017.  

Currently I just feel a bit out of place and missing you Naan! You are leaving tomorrow for your  family trip to Disney World! You don’t know how much I wish I was coming with you right now. I just want to be a part of this trip. It’s just suck on our situation at times, and I just want our life to start. Facebook hasn’t been a help either bc I have to see my friends pictures of their lives so happily married and starting family. I just want to get to that point with mine too. And I wish so badly my turn is coming...not sure exactly when, but I really hope it soon this year.  It’s tough at times to ignore people and I hate my career choice because of it I feel like I miss so much stuff in my life. Anyways I know it wont make much difference that you are going away for few days to a different state, but mentally just feel like its making an impact on my mind that we wont be in the same state and were gonna be even further away than usual and you’d be busy and I’d prob be busy too with my stupid work but still feel this anxious feeling inside me. I just want you to stay safe and be careful while you are away. I have this restless feeling inside me and just want you home asap and I know it’s your vacation and you want this week to last long, haha but for me I’m wishing Friday can come asap. That being said I really hope you have an AMAZING TIME at Disney World!!! You will enjoy it so much and please try to be open minded and be a kid to really enjoy it!  It’s one of my favorite place to be because I feel carefree. Just promise me that we will do this once when we can start hanging together and sneaking out into trips and once we have baby Hassan!  Take lots of Pictures for me!!! Really want to feel part of it!  And don’t let anyone get you down...just relax!!!  Things wont go as you plan during most vacation especially when people go with family, but just let things go and enjoy. Thank you for yesterday!!! Thank you for making me feel so special on my Birthday!!! The night before my Birthday was a hell, and I cried my eyes off because I felt like crap. Felt crappy in a sense I worked my butt off that Friday while my tooth was in pain and handling everything was just so hard. And then I was away from family and friends who I can’t really spend my Birthday with, so was just feeling down. Thank you for making me feel not so lonely on my Birthday and cheering me up!  Hopefully in the future we can spend our birthdays together and thats more than enough what I want. Thank you for the spontaneous breakfast in bed, lovely chocolate cover strawberries, and my cute little petite cake!!! You are just very sweet and loving!! Friday was just bad day, it started bad because I got a stupid paged at 3 am...funny thing was this girl resident loves messaging me at 3 am...even yesterday she send me a birthday message at 3 am...I’m like are you serious????  Just because you are on night call doesn’t mean I am on night call too...I heard my text message go off at 3 am yesterday.  I was like shaking my head....lol  Anyways floor was rough Friday and sorta rough 2 weeks into the January. I just have annoying needy patient and annoying needy attending that except everything to be done. And they become so dependent in me bc I baby them. But somehow I made it through Friday and even today wasnt easy! Morning was a bit rough handling consults in ED and going to random Ankle Case but somehow it worked out. Good thing was I got 6 free numbers in the OR this last week which is a huge thing!! So it’s not all bad but Hummus is just mentally exhausted. On top the day before, I decided to get a root canal done at the dentist bc my wisdom tooth was in pain which end up getting me a throat infection...so now I am in process of losing my voice bc its itchy and hurts to talk. I hate taking medication but I have to force myself to take the antibiotics to prevent infection. Have to go back in 2 weeks to finish up my procedure. 

So what else happen was my parents bought me a car, so that part settled for me which was worrying the hell out of me. They said car would be delivered end of this month. I’m still pretty nervous handling a car in NY and freaked out of my mind how I am gonna manage driving here. I really think I’ll die in an accident. Anyways I got a Black Nissan Versa Note 2016 model. I just hope it works fine and it will last me 3 years without any problem and then this car can do whatever it wants to hopefully lasting me more years but just need these 3 years to be easy. Thank God this got settled I was very worried. 

Hmm I’m starving right now, but I can’t fully eat bc of my tooth I feel like my teeth on left side is jamming my gums and even when I sleep I wake up from pain bc Im grinding it down. My bite mark isn't the same anymore so its bothersome. Hopefully by the second procedure things feel better. At least the pain is gone which is a huge thing because it was pound pain! I wanna have the cake so badly right now and maybe I will.  

Tomorrow is my 3rd week into Floors. I just want it to finish so I can relax in February in my off service month! Just annoyed not having a vacation since September. Can’t believe how fast months have gone and its already end of January! That’s crazy!! It’s a good thing because I just want these 3 years over soon! I want to start focusing on my personal family life! 

There is so much else on my mind and I have a headache thinking about it, but I can’t think of it right now! I’m just really missing you right now!!! You are the best thing that happen to me and I want us to make it through any challenges that comes our way. I know we get into so many random fights and almost break up because of me but I just want us to make it through. It’s been a rough 8 months at times just staying apart and thats probably what is making things difficult. And people around us don’t help because I get jealous so easily seeing other people happy because I want that happiness too. I just want my turn!

Being a 19 year old male who lives in London, insurance was clearly going to be a problem. I have however found some decent quotes which include having a tracker fitted. Now, I don't mind it too much but I do have some worries: a) The location/address: on the quote, I provided a relative's address which is outside of London (the address is about 40 to 50 minutes away from my actual address). Consequently, the price was cut by about half! The worry I have is that if I have a tracker installed, won't it be obvious to the insurer that this isn't my real home address when they see me parking and basically using my actual address instead of the relatives'? So I go to the left and the left and gas it a little bit, I was going like 10 mph as I was taking off, and the light turns yellow, I cross the crosswalk, then the light turns red and I drive under the set of lights.. These 2 bike cops came immediately after me... So long story short, it was my first time being pulled over, I took the seatbelts off, and I ran the red light because there was a guy pulling into a parking stop right in front of me and I was too worried looking around afraid I was going to hit a jaywalking tourists. I took out an insurance policy with swinton Insurance they quoted me 250.00 I agreed to this amount. I have been driving for over 12 years with no claim made against my policy. Due to the way my previous insurer only counted 5 years no claims bonus insurance that is all they have a record plus three years I was with them. so this will be new and something you dont normally see on blogs but i really just need to get this out to someone other than my family, my friends and my school counsellor.

i’ve been pushing these feelings of neglect, anger, sadness, guilt and all of that down for so long. i’ve been refusing myself from even feeling like this because i feel like i dont deserve it but it’s slowly killing me and someday i’m nt sure if i’ll be able to stop myself. so i am writing this here in case i do take it too far.

i have been through a lot recently, and a lot through my past. i cant go through one day without contemplating whether i deserve a happy life or not.

theres a lot to read because theres a lot to my life so if you dont want to read about my rant or you dont want me to ruin your day, than scroll down and continue with whatever the fuck youre doing.

so i need to clarify a few things before i get into details.

my family isnt a healthy one, theres no question about it. my parents aren’t married and never were. they despise each other yet still had three kids, me being the oldest. they hate each other so much that they get verbally and on minor counts physically abusive towards each other if left alone for too long. my dad has met and married a woman named sue then proceeded to have two more kids with her making me the oldest out of five. my mum has also met a man named brad more on his shit later.

life has never been easy on my, even when i was born. i was born as a mistake that my dad never gave permission for. my mum deliberately lied to my dad so she could get pregnant. then when i was actually born, i got passed on to my nan (my mums mum) for the first two years of my life because my parents were incapable of taking care of me.

my mum was sixteen when i was born and my dad was 18-19, both dropped out mid-way of high school. my mum refused to work at all which forced my dad to take on 3 jobs just to cover the necessities.

when my parents finally decided to take me back, it went ok. i moved up to queensland for a bit and had a nice time for a bit, until my mum burnt her hand in the toaster and we had to move back down to melbourne because there were better doctors down there. many fights ha occurred during that time and my brother was born around that time as well. he also got diagnosed with autism which only shattered our family more.

so by the time we moved back down, things were going okay-ish. i attended a good school there, i had lots of friends, i was getting good grades even advancing a bit. but as my sister came into this world, life took another turn for hell. my dad wanted all three of us kids because he believed that he could provided more for us but my mum refused and threw a knife at my dad. my dad left that day and never moved back in but still kept in touch with us whenever he could. my mum moved in with my nan which already had my two uncles living there already so it was a very packed house. i moved schools which was very hard for me because i tended to move schools a lot.

there i met many friends and even had a relationship with someone. i dont want to go to details with this because i told someone once and they bullied me for it.

so a year went on with nothing bad going on but then life once again decided to pay a visit. in year 5, i moved houses once again and had a park across the street, there i met a girl and became friends with her and had a good relationship with her. her name is brodie and we were bffs back then. but it wasnt for good. we had a lot of fights between us to the point where our parents had to get involved. but then after a few days we became friends again and met a few other people and became friends with them

throughout the two years we had a few other fights and she exploited all the secrets i had told her, secrets that i wished to keep but never did. she and her friends bullied me and sent threats to me in so many ways it nearly made me want to kill myself. at that point of time i didnt know what suicide was or what cutting was but i ha thoughts of knifes often that it scared me. i never told my parents anything but they knew about the fight. for two whole months i was stuck in my house because i was too scared to go outside, afraid that the kids would show up and bully me again. it wasnt until she said sorry at school that i was stupid enough to trust her again. we ended up having another fight then went back to being friends. after our year 6 graduation we had another fight. this fight was my fault. most people wouldnt put it that way because it was really my fault but the fight was about me. my parents agreed that it’d be better if i move out of my mums house and move in with my dad, away from all the bad shit and into a better neighbourhood, a new life as some might say. and with that move i was going to over moving to a girls school. brodie is a huge homophobic and once she heard the news about my school, she and her friends started calling me lesbain and a bitch just for going to an all girls school. when i left that place, i left the memories there. or so i thought

around this time is also the time when my dad met my soon to be step mum from his work so i was slowly getting to know her then as well. my grand nan also was moving away to tasmania so i wouldnt get to see her as often as i did. i’ve always had a good relationship with my nan and grand nan mainly because i got spoilt and lived with them for the first two years of my life. my mum was also really lazy and barely left the couch. if she did, it would be to go grocery shopping or to make us dinner. also me and my mum suffered from epilepsy but she was worse then me but i still had to take medicine everyday and she had to take six. because of her severe seizures she sometimes had if she forgot to take her medication, she was exempt from obtaining her license unless she was seizure free for two years, and she didnt get her license until a few months before my graduation. the end of year 6 was also the time my mum met her dick shit of a boyfriend.

now i am not going to lie here, he was an absolute prick. he also had two kids with an abusive relationship with his partner, but all he fucking cared about was fucking my mum and playing his fucking car games. he even updated his game using our internet which was already going at the speed of a fucking snail. he practically lived with us then and i caught them in the living room once. IN TH FUCKING LIVING ROOM. i never sat on that couch again and that experience had scarred me terribly.

anyway so i moved in with my dad and step mum sue in a small house and attended the girls school that we appeared to be just out of the zone for but still got me in. i didnt have any friends at that stage but everything was going okay there, apart from the homework. a fews months later in year seven, dad and sue got married. a couple more months after that sue was announced pregnant with my half sister. life took another turn after that. we had to start searching for a new home because we only had two bedrooms an i was already having to share my room once a fortnight with my siblings.

money wasnt easy on us. but to be fair we did go on our annual camping trips and went up to noosa once for a vacation so we had our good times as well as the bad. during year 7 i was also grounded a lot because im me.

anyway when we moved to our current house, things were going down hill a lot

money became s big issue with the whole new renovations being done to the house, my sister being admitted to the hospital multiple times for her ears, my schooling not doing to well. the only good thing is that I finally made a group of friends that I still am very great friends with today.

so after that fiasco died down, things started returning to normal, at least for this side of the family. 

my mum eventually moved with with dick milk and her relationship with him continued to progress even though it shouldn’t have. She finally got a job by then, a very low income job. i had a lot of fights with my mum then and it didn’t help with dick milk getting in the way. a couple months went on when shit started hitting the fan again. a tree had fallen on top of the house which luckily didn’t damage anything, dads shoulder fucked itself which made sue have the pressure of more work but she didn’t have to do much considering my dads low income and her very high income. it still gave her a lot of pressure. When my dad finally got back to work it started getting a little bit better. 

By this time I was introduced to anime and fanfiction and Tumblr and all that. Anime and fanfic seemed to be my getaway from life as the months continued on. 

Last year sue announced that she was pregnant once again. I didn’t believe it at first but as it hit the eight month mark I finally had to come to belief of it. When he was born, my life changed forever, and not for the good. 

This leads to the current problems. Being the oldest out of five is really something that puts a huge weight on your shoulders especially since your parents are continuously fighting for one child custody and you being the one that represents the one potentially good side. 

Ok so my dad wants custody for my sister when she hits high school but my mum is refusing it. Because I live with my dad, it’s up to me to represent him because in the end he is better for her. But me and my dad haven’t been in good terms lately. Also because my dad and I aren’t doing to well with our relationship, my mum has started showing me love and care something that she usually lacks of. 

Anyway, so that’s leaving me confused because I have no idea where I am in the world. And my schooling isn’t doing to well either because I’m pretty much failing every class. So right now I’m just a confused fucked up being. I’m questioning a lot of things lately. I don’t know my sexuality. I don’t know where I belong in the world. I don’t know whether I belong in this world. I don’t know if I deserve to be in this world. I’m feeling neglected upon my family and some of my friends. I feel lost and hopeless. I feel guilty because I know that all my problems are some form or another my fault. I feel upset because I hardly ever get the attention I want. I haven’t had the affectionate attention for ages, I haven’t had the living care of affection from my family for months now. 

Being the oldest out of five isn’t always a happy thing to reflect on. i crave for the affectionate attention that i have been neglected of. Sure call me an attention whore, call me a slut, a bitch, an asshole, a fucking selfish bitch. I’ve heard it all from myself and my family. I feel like a huge burden to my family and even question my place in it. 

I have even gone as far as to violently scratch myself. And you know what’s worse? I actually enjoyed it. I enjoyed bringing myself pain and that scares me. I don’t want to think these things but I have no other choice to. Writing seems to be my break from everything, it’s my freedom and I’m often ripped away from that freedom. I’m a narcissist and there’s nothing that will change that and now you know why. 

I just needed to get this out to someone other than the people I know. If you made it this far, thank you for continuing this rant and I’m sorry if I wasted ur time. i just wanted to tell you that even if your life may suck a little bit right now, stop and consider the rest of the people, im not saying to just consider my life story, im not the only one in the world with many problems. im saying that even if you seem to have one big problem, take a step back and appreciate what you have, i dont have much to appreciate but dont let the small things bring you down. ive been unfortunate to let them get to me, but dont let them get to you. please
