Old Tumblr Dashboard (Userstyle)!!

I created a Userstyle for the Chrome/Firefox Stylus Extension that reverts the new dashboard to the old look!

You need to have Stylus installed. So if you don't have it:

Install the Stylus Firefox Addon or the Manifest V2 Chrome Extension (You can install Chrome Extensions on Edge as well)

Once it's installed into Firefox/Chrome/Edge you can proceed with adding this style or any other.

To add the style (Stylus), follow the instructions:

Go to this link: https://userstyles.world/style/11286/old-tumblr-dashboard-userstyle (If it says 'style not found' then the Userstyle.world server is just down, try again in an hour)

Click on "install".

Style will open a tag with it and in the left side you'll have a button that says "install style", click there. (Step-by-step copied from the lovely dorothyoz39 who wrote this in a reply!) If you don't want the sticky header you can remove the labelled script at the top of the css below /* Sticky Header*/

For Manifest V3 only Chrome Or Stylus incompatible browsers:

Only two columns in Masonry view. Semi-Unfixable, Tumblr creates columns based on monitor size, if I try adding another column (because it doesn't exist) it just perpetually loads on screen. Semi-fix: Zoom out in chrome/firefox and it adds more columns, you may need to change the font size of the page though

Search bar doesn't appear on some pages (like viewing a post), this is because Tumblr removed the search bar on those pages completely. Unfixable but not a big deal

Tumblr has ONCE AGAIN CHANGED THE ACCOUNTS MENU. The menus are now shorter and have less information on them. This is unfortunately permanent. I do not see any way to fix this. Unfixable.

If you want people's icons to stay fixed in place, instead of scrolling with the dashboard change this in Stylus;

Solved issues: (Update)

What is the account about?

Well, this really started because I was talking about it as a joke. But fandom culture over the years has died. Horribly. So, I want to let people have fun and put their ships they have into a bracket for fun!

How do I submit a Ship?

Submitting a ship is easy, there is a form at the end of this post that you can fill out to submit a ship! The form will close next Friday (5/9/25) and the bracket overview should be ready a few days after

Rules for the bracket

- any ship is fine to be submitted, as long as it doesn’t break anyone’s boundaries. If there is any cast uncomfortable with ships, please let me know.

- Anything can be counted as non-canon or a crackship. It was joked about shipping Mi-go and her giant machine on art’s stream. Anything can count. Go wild. (Not the weird wild, don’t be like that)

3t2 traits: snooze interaction unhidden for heavy & light sleepers

Hi! As the title says, this is a new 3t2 trait mod to unhide the "snooze" interaction for sims with either the heavy sleeper or the light sleeper trait. My reasoning is, heavy sleepers can fall asleep anywhere, and light sleepers could be so sleep deprived from their light sleep, they could snooze off during the day :D

I made this by adding trait checks to @gummilutt´s "SnoozeEnabledCommunity" mod. So, this works exactly like it, but only for the sims with the correct traits.

Snoozing can happen in living chairs or sectional sofas, it looks like as in the picture above

Available at any time and any energy level, for teens and up

I used the community lot version, so sims with the correct traits can snooze off on community lots too

There is a downside to this mod: It seems like the original autonomous action is now only available for light and heavy sleepers too. Personally I don't find this as an issue, because I don't think I've ever seen this happen autonomously in game before anyway. But if someone want's to message me and help me figure out how to enable the autonomous action for all sims again, feel free!

Conflicts:

Very much likely Gummilutt's original mods for snoozing (linked above), but there wouldn't be any point using them together anyways.

The original mod has a conflict with Cyjon's less napping mod, so I believe this trait version would conflict with it also. Works if this snoozing mod loads after Cyjon's mod, then these snoozing changes would overwrite what Cyjon's mod did for snoozing.

D-Ring Snaffle + Two Loose-Ring Snaffles

I FINALLY GOT IT WORKING This took WAY too long, but I finally figured out how to make an accessory from scratch! These are 100% new meshes and textures. For the hunter ponies and co ✨

Details:

 3 new meshes - D-ring snaffle, loose ring, and loose ring without noseband

20 swatches each - 5 leather colours, gold or silver fittings, and bling browband/no bling versions

Medium-poly - 3K polys vs EAs 2.5K meshes at LOD0. Heavily culled at other LODs (down to 500 at LOD3) to keep performance smooth

Tested in game!

Requires Horse Ranch DLC

Known Issues:

The reins still attach at EA's link point... I'll keep working out how to move it to the new bits

Again, the bit deforms a little in CAS when the horses scream (why do they do that? bestie PLEASE stand still), but doesn't deform with the same motion in game

These are brand new meshes, so please let me know if you have any issues!

Hi! Are you looking for some Apothy fun in these trying times of no new Apothesosis episodes? Wanna get together with other toxic yuri fans to make something swag? This post is to let you know that sign-ups are now open for the Eldritchstrings Event - an event centered on Exandroth and Rumi!!

This event is solely being run by @burning-sol (me) and @exandr0th-0f-viscera (my headmate). It probably won't be that large-scale, and we'll be kind of loose with management as we get an idea of what the members involved want from the event in terms of development and a final product. Our biggest rules are to HAVE FUN and TRY YOUR BEST!! If you don't feel like you're having fun, then this event is officially so joever.

Who can join?

If I've blocked you that's probably a bad sign... Obviously. But other than that, no limitations we can think of! Just know that Xander and I are pro-endo and pro-mspec lesbians; so if that gives you the impression you wouldn't gel well with the group, it's best to steer clear. All we ask of our participants is that they'll...!

Communicate clearly, and consciously try to take others in good faith.

At the least tolerate their cohorts if they can't outright get along with them.

AND, most importantly, they'll reach out to us if there are any issues!! It is no bother and it's actively better for the collective if you're open about anything that may have come up :3

What's the estimated time frame?

Sign-Ups close November 16th! ..however, the time frame for development and publishing will be up to participants to decide - with that process of consultation concluding before 2025.

At the LATEST the deadline for the works themselves will be July 31st, which will leave time for the editors to finesse the final product and publish it August 27th... (the anniversary of the first Eldritchstrings post!) So if you think you could make something by July 31st, even if you're initially busy, join the sign-ups!

If you miss it you will NOT be let into the event late, unfortunately. But no worries, because if the event goes well then there's a high probability another will be held in the future! :D

What contributions are we looking for?

Firstly, anyone who can help with visual design, editing, accessibility and publishing otherwise would be appreciated! There's also room for people who have general experience overseeing events and/or those who would like to help with promotion.

There will also (potentially) be groups, so if all you wanna do is hang around in case a pinch-hitter is needed, you can do that!

In terms of those submitting work to the event, ANY form of art goes! You may want to submit something like...

Fan-fiction, poetry, essays..

Illustrations, comics…

Banners, blinkies, icons…

Moodboards, stimboards, webweaves..

Textiles, cosplay, photography…

Our ONLY limitations are that we will NOT be allowing any erotica, and no portrayal of genitalia in terms of artistic nudity! If you are otherwise unsure your work would be allowed, feel free to ask about it!

Also! Works that are exclusive to the event would be super cool, but you can submit older art or continue to work on something from your already existing WIPs if you'd like! Descent into Avernus: This is a great world building book if you’re looking to learn more about Avernus or Zariel, I have this book so I can vouch that it’s great. Even not just for world building, the campaign itself is super cool and gives you the option to be EVIL which is so lacking in a lot of RPGs these days.

Chains of Asmodeus: is a great reference for like the entirety of the Hells I haven’t dug through it completely but it’s good. Don’t agree with everything but! Take and leave right lol…Here’s a little link to it free online and a bunch of other DnD assets for freeeee :3

The Godborn: I’m holding off on ordering this to have in my own collection bc the Twilight Wars comes first but my friend let me go through theres and for characterization of Mephistopheles this book it’s great. This is a novel different than the two books above which are more DnD adventures just so you know.

Twilight War Series: These I haven’t read but follows Magadon Kest who is Raphael’s brother, I ordered Shadowbred since I’m about to finish Homeland and I’ll let you guys know if it’s any good! But I’m very excited about starting this series. These are novels.

Brimstone Angels: I have mixed feelings about these but I have used sections of it for reference, good stuff for kinda of conceptualizing cambion behavior. It’s a bit…idk. It’s not always to my tastes but it is a good book to paw through if you’re looking for cambion stuff specifically. These are novels.

Hells layers details! Great stuff and great art, of course I’ve set it to Cania bc duh but there’s a lot of stuff there.

It’s lacking its barebones but it’ll give you your base lore on characters, can’t knock it bc we need it. And it does have a lot of stuff.

For Meph specifically ^ DMs talking shop about Meph’s characterization, it’s funny and I agree with a lot of their interpretations. This is a sillier one though.

Some Baalphegor lore bc I’m miss Baalphegor’s number one fan!!!!! Not enough about her…my missing babyGIRL!!!!

Video Games:

Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark: Some of the stuff in this is as crazy to me as Raphy ruling over all the Hells but I do like Mephistopheles’s characterization in this sooooo!!!! I watched a playthrough and if you want Meph mannerisms for writing and stuff I think this game is clutch. His voice in it is…hot. 🤭

I hope some of these point you in lore directions you like and gives you some interesting threads to follow! The Hells are vast and I’m still learning a lot. I love it though. Yay Hells :D

All of our CC can be found by typing " Donut " into the search bar! Images in game - Most stickers are sized up or down, some using the tool mod! The blue wall background photos (on the patreon and curseforge) were taken of super sized up stickers, so the lines are a bit warbly and a tad off because they're so so super sized! You really can't tell in game at all but if there are any issues please let me know!!

These are meant to be little stickers on the wall. You can size them up and down using the bracket keys. [ ] <- these ones. I personally, use the tool mod to size my items up and down, and specifically with these if you are wanting them to be "perfectly sized" i would recommend you grab tool (and its assistant BBB). THEY ARE LARGE TO START! This is so you can go all the way down to a mini size! Hope this helps!

Hermit Tea Project Update!

I am happy to say- we have WIP teas up for every hermit so far! (and then some!) (With Mumbo and Cleo being announced over the next two weeks!) Teas tested and unlikely to change much at all: Cleo, Mumbo, Joehills, Joel, Stress, TFC, Pearl, False, Scar, Scarland, Jellie, and Grumbot Untested teas: (Note that many in our discord have tried these even if I haven't- Join to ask their thoughts before you buy if you want!) Skizz, Cub, Tango, Doc, Beef, iJevin, Keralis, Rendog, Hypnotizd ,Welsknight, Xisumavoid, xBCrafted, Decked out, Convex, and Cyberpunk City So what does this mean? Well it means that as I try teas and make adjustments- I am still looking for artists! for many of these!
