That fucking poem was stupid and disrespectful as shit and some of the replies, arguing in favor of pro censorship, were ALSO really fucking stupid.

I'm not pro-censorship at all. I think it's a fucking nightmare, and a slippery road to go down. Conservatives, and those with conservative views, have an interesting habit of knocking down anyone they view as "disgusting" or "vile". Hell, have you heard what's happening in Virginia? They're talking about putting books on trial again and, if the judge finds them obscene, they'll be banned in the entire state, and that ruling affects private citizens as well, who will be legally bound to not sell or share it.

First book on the list? Gender Queer, a book that describes the author's own experiences growing up non-binary, which includes sexual accounts they had as a teen. Because of this, the right is convinced this is the "child porn" that children are being "subjected to".

The same fight is happening online, and I gotta say, I absolutely hate the culturally Christian purity influx that I've been seeing lately. I had honestly been hoping we'd purged ourselves of this bullshit earlier on, but apparently not.

You can't even write about your own experiences with sex anymore in an autobiography without it being considered "child porn" and as a survivor of that, I will never forgive ANY of you for how you've desensitized the world to that term, that now some people think you're talking about fictional characters fucking more often than you are thinking about the real children who need to be saved. I've seen more of you snivelling shits tainting fandoms than I have seen you rallying for some kind of fucking change in the actual world. After seeing the whole val controversy, I'm started to feel guilty for liking villains. I like bad guys because they make stories entertaining even if val isn't my favorite at all. What's the line of liking villains? Should cosplaying them considered illegal now? Or we shouldn't enjoy villains anymore. I like villains because they challenge the protagonist's morality or in some case the protagonists themselves becoming villains. It's fun seeing characters becoming the worst version of themselves, a warning to audiences that anyone is capable of doing bad if put in the right situation. I'm not trying to defend any side btw.

There are points where you can like a character in different ways

Many villains are written greatly and real charismatic. But you do need to understand that what they do is bad, and not romantize their actions.

Many of these Val fans (for what ever reason) tried too hard to defend the rights of real life r-pists. Or say "But you like (x character that isn't a r-pist)" which I think is dumb.

We get to distance certain things in media from reality, but the closest it gets to something like r-pe or P-dophilia alot of people back off. -and I think when it comes to something like that- people should be really careful and aware to not delete the forces of their actions. I mean, in HB all the main character kills a shit ton of humans in the series, but we don't care- we worry about their personal lives and emotions as if they didn't kill innocent humans in that Verosika episode (and others). The humans they kill in the bg don't matter and are not given emotions so we don't care about heir death- in real life we do value human life (or we should!) even if people we don't know to have a sad backstory. But in media, you need to approach things like r-pe or P-dophilia more carefully and seriously. The amount of normalization of r-pe culture in real life is really big. And yes, fictions does affect reality. I do think there are levels of people having less emotions of people dying by the normalization a dehumanization of certain groups of people irl. More people would care about injustices if the media and world didn't try to dehumanize the groups of people they attack irl. If the USA didn't try hard to spread racism, xenophobia to justify their actions, a lot more people would be speaking about it more.

People need to be more sensitive, is what I'm saying.

UNHOLYVERSE CLOSING THOUGHTS YIPPEEEE YIPPEE YIPPEE

it’s 1am and I’ve finished it :)

the plot was fucking amazing as was the writing, it was like a really really good tv show, or maybe an amazing movie (pt1) and its slightly more deranged sequel (pt2 and 3). I think I definitely preferred all things unholy as a whole, but yeah the next parts really did feel very sequel-like, in that the first one was The Story and the second and third were building on that first core story, expanding the characters and world. which ummmm btw the lore is insane??? so much going on lmfao but I think it all worked really well. the fallout boy stuff was fucking wild though icl because WHAT 💀 I’m also obsessed with the idea of god talking to frank in the form of the cardinal dream, that worked soooo well and still leaving it open at the end is great. I’m so glad frank and gerard got a happy ending, I ship those stupid twats SO hard I’m literally clawing at the walls they make me INSANE RRAAHHHH!!! icl I really didn’t care about mikey and ray’s romance like at all but it worked as a source of conflict and was pretty cute

I kind of forgot it was meant to be mcr fanfic for a while lmfao, which brings me on to I guess the most important part which is my main takeaway on the whole rpf thing

as I’ve said in a post before, I really struggle to picture voices and faces accurately in my head when reading. well except when it comes to buffyverse characters, but that’s just because those shows are so deeply ingrained into my psyche forever that istg I could literally channel buffy summers at this point and just become her. lmfao but yeah I really struggle with that! so when I’m reading, I just kind of create a vibe, a vague mind’s-eye image of a character, it’s very hard to explain. so for me these frank, gerard, mikey, etc characters were subconsciously already way far removed from the real people, like I had to consciously make an effort to make them sound and look exactly like them in my head. but like I said, it felt like a real piece of media like a tv show or something, so to me the unholyverse characters are just that - characters. it really felt like mcr playing movie roles lmfao which I was perfectly happy with. the romance and other relationships were written soooooo well, the real problem was ofc the smut!

I don’t like smut in general, not in a judgy or censor-y way, I just get no joy or kick out of reading it and all it does is make me feel awkward. but with rpf smut, even though I see unholyverse frank and gerard as fictional characters, I can’t ignore the fact that THIS IS FULLY EXPLICIT WHAT IS ESSENTIALLY PORN BEING WRITTEN ABOUT REAL PEOPLE 💀 read it write it all you want, personally I find it uncomfortable and it just doesn’t do anything for me. made me think too much about the fact that it WAS rpf, yk?? got me thinking about the real frank and gerard and how fucking weird it would be to read smth like that about yourself idk, also the fact they have wives and kids…. 😟 gosh idk it was very very well-written smut, it just made me so icked out the more I thought about it

but anyway, OVERALL: I loved it. it was so good, will definitely reread, bookmark, and think about it for a very very very long time. possibly scream and cry and tear my hair out too, idk. part 1 was my favourite by a long shot, it’s so iconic, and feels pretty removed from parts 2 and 3 in a nice way that makes it feel like a movie and its strange sequel. I’ve discovered I like rpf when it’s good and when it’s a complete au and the people feel like original fictional characters in their own right. Antis are ridiculous, and on this we all agree, but I think that the next step of ridiculousness is people who consume queer medias while being squeamish about the non-fictional part of it.

An incredible example is A Little Life.

The book went viral on booktok and a bunch of people bought and read it. The contents of the book are pretty extreme: Jude, one of the main characters, is revealed as having been raped as a child and then as a teen, was forced into prostitution by a man, and his entire life up to adulthood has been nothing but being the victim of rape at the hands of many men. It's so much extreme violence that plenty of people have called out the author for trivializing trauma porn at the expense of a gay man to sell to a majority female audience.

Still, the people of booktok love and recommend it constantly.

But you know what issue they have with it? The cover.

The cover picture is titled "Orgasmic Man," and even if the title is pretty suggestive to what it represents, if you look at it it can be a man who's coming, sure, but it could also be a man yawning or in agony. It's meant to be open to interpretation. Its photographer was Peter Hujar, a gay man who contracted and died of AIDS in the 80s, and it's very likely that the model pictured in the photo was a gay man himself.

In a book written by a straight cis woman and that focuses on gay relationships between men, with one of its main characters who has gone through years of sexual abuse at the hands of men, the thing that must be censored because it makes them uncomfy is the only piece of work that was, in fact, realized by a gay man.

In a book that's supposedly about queerness, they want to cancel out the actual signs of queer men.

So I was thinking about the various bits of Wendell and Wild merch that I would personally love to see and purchase from stores. I have a small plethora of things that I can think of. One of the things is a poster or something of Raul’s art to mount or display on my wall. Why? It’s something relating to Raul that isn’t on a t shirt or something generic that I can think would best show my appreciation of him than on any other type of merch. And he DESERVES some. If I say something is not a safe space it’s mainly because it’s not exclusively a safe space and you should not let down your guard for your own triggers and safety because I’m not going to always know or be able to do that or even want to take on the burden of always saying and doing the right thing to make sure no one is upset or hurt in anyway.

I can do my best to not be actively unsafe in certain ways, but, there will always be risks and I will at times fail. I know that I will fail ‘cause I am human and I will say and do things that are thoughtless or ignorant or cruel or in anger or just… idk wrong? There are a lot of different ways to fuck things up. There are a lot of different ways to hurt people. I don’t always deserve forgiveness for that if I do hurt you that way.

This isn’t a statement about anything recently, I’ve just been thinking about the concept of “safe spaces” and what makes one a safe space. Why people expect certain things from certain creators and not from others. And part of it is that a certain degree of safety allows people to let down their guard so much that the appearance of something offensive becomes almost more shocking and offensive.

So I feel like, even if I’m doing my best to like… not actively be harmful, like… I’m still a person. Not a safe space. And that means that I am potentially capable of offending or talking about things that feel unsafe. Especially since I’m processing messy feelings of abuse and trauma. Many trauma victims are honestly way messier than a lot of folks seem to anticipate, and like. I get a lot of trauma survivors want their own safe spaces, but sometimes I really wonder why y’all think policing other trauma survivors to be less messy is making trauma survivors safer, rather than the opposite.

Like it doesn’t really make most spaces feel safe to me to know that I have to constantly self censor and often just not talk because I can’t tell if my traumatic experiences are colouring my perception and will make the situation uncomfy if I speak up or say something. But like, it is for the sake of trauma victims that the censorship has been enforced… like. I don’t know if I get it entirely. But it might be that it’s not the victims that the rules are for, but the people who aren’t victims but have heard of victims and are very very uncomfortable about it. Idk.

That’s why I’m both still processing and also not a safe space. I gotta talk about shit or I might explode or never understand. I’ve been trying to understand things for ages and been “sheltered” with blinders and bars on the windows for ages lmao

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

In large part, it's pretty dumb to try and apply age gap stuff to aliens who live hundreds, thousands, if not an indefinite, number of years. So a literal age gap is inevitable and kind of always will be. Obviously I don't mean this as a way to excuse gross shit but when it comes to adults, yeah, the age can vary by literally millions of years in some cases.

It gets uncomfortable when the other muse is more comparable to a teen than an adult. As Earth years equivalent I'd say anything younger than 22 would be Uncomfy.

(But again, doesn't always apply. I mean, one of Ardaka's partners is an A.I. and they most definitely do not mature the same way that organics do. So.......)

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

When it comes to writing with me, you'd probably just know it when you see it. I don't like to jump right into NSFW territory, I'd rather allude/suggest to it first — and the post would be tagged 'SUGGESTIVE CW' or something.

Ardaka / Two / Xaallo with @precognitor and @xaallo. I love them as an OT3 but also as separate ships on their own right. The chemistry of these three is always good, but it definitely changes depending on whether or not Ardaka is with both of them, or just Two, or just Xaallo. It makes for a very dynamic relationship with a lot of variety. It's been one of my favorite things to write over the past year or two.

Ardaka / Sliske with @ohshadow. Sometimes I think about the interactions of their original canon counterparts and it's wild. It's wild how far they've come now. Channy and I haven't gotten too many chances to write them but it's great when we do. I just feel so!!! Proud!!! Of where we've both taken our characters. I love the way Ardaka and Sliske banter of course, I just feel a lot of OOC contentment for it. It's been so many years since we've known each other, and I think it's pretty cool where we're at now.

Ardaka / Malphas with @guildoffarah. One of the few ships I can't exactly call slow-burn even if there is a good amount of development behind it now. Their chemistry was just Immediate. Also one of the only relationships Ardaka has where his species/identity isn't a barrier he has to overcome at some point, so that has a lot to do with it, I'm sure. Anyway, Farah has been a joy to know and write with!

Ehhhhhhhhh? Probably not? It's beneficial to confirm it later down the line sure but if the ship happens naturally in writing then so be it. I don't really like controlling the relationship direction much OOC, I just want it to progress naturally. If it happens, then it happens.

I don't want to just be asked straight up for a ship. Someone can suggest a scenario in which our muses could bond, but I don't want to plot the outcome of such a thing, if that makes sense.

the biggest thing that always jumps out to me is that emmas voice actor is… i wanna say pr0 ship? sorry for censoring but i don’t wanna end up in that tag lol. but no iirc emmas va had a ton of nsfw of characters who were very very explicitly under 18, on their socials- they didn’t even have anything saying their acc was nsfvv, they had 0 warning and would send links to their acc for people to check out. im also 100% sure they had minor/adult ship content (like. high schooler confirmed to be <18 x adult in their 40s) on their page. the team was aware of this and… did not care

then, a few? years back? before they had released anything playable, back when all they had was VA intros, they said that sora was confirmed to be het by linuj- this was back when the game wasn’t even fully released, let alone fully translated, i could explain. how horrible the word of mouth culture was back then because of this, but with the dub team being in contact with linuj to begin with, people heard this and 100% believed it. they said this in response to people shipping… iirc it was specifically a reaction to some soruko stuff, but anyways, the intent was “so u can’t ship her with girls cuz that’s het erasure, sorry :(“ they later. straight up admitted it was a lie, that they had chosen to not tell the truth, that linuj had never said anything like that

those are the two most… reputable? well documented? things against them- the sora straightbait stuff used to be common knowledge, and i saw the stuff with emma’s va first hand (im just not certain about if they had straight up nsfvv, or if it was just. f3tish stuff which people might not have realized was. s3xual just scrolling through their page- and again, they def had minor/adult stuff). there’s also been reports of harassment by the adults on the team to minors in the server and stuff, and people have said it was just overall an uncomfy environment, but those are the two things that i can personally verify happened

hihi im starting a writing blog for svt but im relatively new to tumblr and its mechanics and all the etiquette and things like that. also im a jun biased and im weird in the way where i don't usually have inspo for other members? if that makes sense? so like idk is there anything i need to know or is it relatively acceptable to mostly only write for one or two members?

no that totally makes sense! i would say most authors on here will write for ot13 but they definitely write more for their bias than any other member. i feel the same way, for me it's easier to write for jun than for other members (and also i love him lol) so my writing ends up being like 90% jun and 10% other members. which is completely fine! at the end of the day it's your blog and your writing, and you should write for whoever you feel comfortable writing for and whoever gives you the most motivation. there are hundreds of writers on this site so if one writer only writes for a couple of members, it doesn't mean the other members won't get written :) nobody says you're required to write certain things or for certain members!

if you intentionally leave out one member but write for all the rest (i've seen writers who write ot12 and exclude jun because they aren't attracted to him), you might get some side eyes but again that is your choice. i personally wouldn't say a hard no to any members and i'll give them all my best shot, but that's my blog, and your blog is up to you.

as for things you'd need to know, i'd say the number one thing is interact with people! the best way to get interaction on your own work is to reblog and comment on other fics. as i'm sure you've heard me say before, reblogs are the most important feature on this site! it basically boils down to, treat others how you would want to be treated by reblogging their works and leaving feedback, even if it's just a simple "i really loved this!!!". it makes you stand out in our notifs and if you're also a writer it might even get you a new mutual.

other tips off the top of my head:

have a masterlist post (helps people find all your fics in one place) and have a guidelines post (makes it clear what you're comfy with)

DO NOT PLAGIARIZE AND DO NOT STEAL ANYONE ELSE'S WRITING (this one is in caps bc super super important!!! you can take ideas or inspiration from someone else but you cannot take their words or their writing. you'd think this one would be obvious but plagiarism happens a lot more than you'd think)

if you're inspired by someone else, tag them in your fic! it shows respect to the original author, and you should tag them whether it was from a fic you read or if they helped you brainstorm ideas. it doesn't have to be a super long thing, just a little "inspired by @onlyhuis's fic!!" is more than enough, but it goes a long way :)

like i said, you can write for whoever you want, whenever you want! when ppl start interacting you it's gonna be stressful because you want to make them happy and put out new fics often, but just remember that it's your blog and you get the final say on everything. don't put pressure on yourself to write constantly because you will get burned out and i promise it will not be fun!

if people send things that make you uncomfy, don't be afraid to delete (or block) them. it's your blog and your boundaries so don't feel guilty for standing up for yourself. also, ignore answer hate asks because they're just looking for attention so don't give it to them

trigger things properly! this is the little section before the fic that says "warnings". don't censor any words (using punctuation like bl00d or d3ath instead of typing blood or death) because it defeats the purpose of ppl who have those keywords filtered, so type out the whole word uncensored. this is a courtesy for people so they can choose to avoid content that may be harmful to them. (this also counts towards visual works, a lot of ppl use tags like "tw flashing" on gifsets)

speaking of tags, when you post be sure to put tags on it! it's the section at the bottom of your post with all the #'s. if you click on any of my fics you can see that i use tags like "jun smut", "seventeen scenarios", etc. these tags help people find what they want to read (but only tag relevant things; don't put "mingyu smut" on a jeonghan fic unless mingyu is actually in the fic). if you aren't sure which tags to use or how to format things, feel free to look at other fics for examples. if you read a lot of fics you might see there's a pretty standard way of doing it

the tags i use like "june.txt" and "june writes" are organizational tags. when you click on, for example, my "june writes" tag, the results are only my fics that have that tag. it basically organizes things into categories (which imo is the best part of tumblr) and it makes it easier to find different types of posts. it also allows people to filter those tags so posts with that tag don't show up (for example, i require minors on my blog to block the tag "minors dni" so that nothing nsfw is shown to them)

again like i said, don't be shy! make friends, join networks, send asks to people, reblog fics, etc etc. interacting with others is the #1 way to make writer friends :)

just a general tumblr tip: no one can see how many followers you have except you, so don't try to make it a competition of who has the most. it's what makes tumblr different from tw*tter and insta and it makes the social media experience a lot more casual because there's no influencers here. it's like a diary where you scream into the void and sometimes ppl scream back. a lot of writers do milestone events (i recently had one for hitting 1k followers) but you aren't required to do those either

if you have any questions about tags, filtering keywords, and other tumblr stuff like that, don't be afraid to ask! any tumblr veteran is more than willing to help break down our weird system to new bloggers

be proud of your work! even if it doesn't get many notes or feedback it doesn't mean you're a bad writer. writing should be fun and something you can enjoy doing, so don't make it seem like a chore by focusing too hard on numbers

Kim Dokja is the main protagonist of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. He is the sole reader of the webnovel Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World, an apocalyptic fantasy story written by tls123 who read it through the end.

💫KDJ'S APPEARANCE 💫

•Kim Dokja has a thin face and pale skin. His hair is thin and black; he has long eyelashes and dark circles.His countenance is calm and fresh, although somewhat edgy. There is a marked difference in his appearance when he smiles and when he's expressionless. As an adult, he has a slender physique, being rather skinny prior to the beginning of the scenarios, although he has become rather muscular due to raising his Strength stat.He has burn scarring/tanning due to the probability storm he weathered after Gigantomachia.He also has scars on his handsand presumably the rest of his body as well from the numerous fights he has been through. The number 6424 is "stitched" into his left forearm.

•He is often described as looking plain or unappealing by other characters, so much so that he gains the Incarnation modifier "Ugliest King". It is later revealed that his appearance is "censored" for those looking at him. In Dark Castle, Lee Jihye says she cannot remember what he looks like; in the 73rd Demon Realm, when footage of the 73rd Demon King scenario is being shown in the Syswitz Complex, Kim Dokja himself notices that his face is distorted onscreen.

•Kim Dokja is fairly expressive and has distinct mannerisms, though he may not realize it himself. He tilts his head slightly when worrying about the kids. When he thinks about his mother, his eyes close and his eyelids twitch slightly. He smiles mischievously and arches his eyebrows when he's teasing (generally towards Han Sooyoung). He gets a glint in his eyes when he thinks about his most loved stories. According to Shin Yoosung, his nostrils flare when he lies. He has a distinctive smile, sometimes described as "unlucky" by his party members and unique enough in nature that people recognize him by it.

• Kim Dokja's usual clothing contain a black collared button up shirt, black pnts, black dress shoes, and a special white trench coat.

🌃KIM DOKJA'S PERSONALITY🌃

•Kim Dokja is, at his core, a dedicated and loving man. He devotes himself to those he cares for, going so far as to sacrifice his own life for them; as a result of this devotion, he is careful with whom he grants his deep trust to. He frequently tries to shield his loved ones from danger by taking their struggles onto himself and often becomes extremely self-deprecating when he is unable to push through said struggles alone.

•This self-deprecation is a recurring pattern of behavior. For all that he loves others, he is extremely harsh on himself, being insecure and having very low self-esteem and self-worth. He used to perceive himself as perpetually alone and struggled with recognizing when people genuinely cared for and looked up to him, although he has become better at this since the beginning of ORV. Where he used to repress his emotions (as observed by Jung Heewon in early scenarios), he has also become more emotionally expressive (for instance, crying and yelling without restraint, particularly so during the epilogues). He is usually quite casual when he speaks to others, but when he's shocked or nervous, he has a tendency to speak formally.

•He is somewhat self-conscious about his image and how he's perceived, though less so when he's going by a pseudonym. In early scenarios, he pretended to be ruthless and cold-blooded. As time passes, he tends towards an image of someone who is polite and put-together, and who always has a plan. In fact, he does tend to plan ahead for most situations based on his knowledge of Ways of Survival. However, he often develops tunnel vision, failing to consider outside factors playing into and altering his situation. He is notably bad at improvisation (a fact that becomes more apparent as his timeline diverges more and more from the original Ways of Survival) and takes some time to get back on his feet when faced with setbacks, having minor emotional breakdowns at particularly shocking situations.

Nonetheless, he is immensely dedicated to his goals, seen when he surpasses even death in order to reach the end of the scenarios. This translates into occasional bouts of stubbornness and singlemindedness.

HISTORY

As a child, Kim Dokja loved to read, a habit that was encouraged by his mother.

Later on, Kim Dokja would go on to become the sole reader of all 3,149 chapters of the webnovel "Ways of Survival." The characters in the novel would become sources of comfort for Kim Dokja as he struggled through his unfortunate life, and he would grow alongside Yoo Joonghyuk as the protagonist regressed and struggled towards the end. Kim Dokja undergoes various unfortunate events, including failing his CSAT and ending up at a third-rate university, drawing an unlucky straw and ending up at the front lines during his military service, and landing a low-paying job at Minosoft. Through it all he constantly reads the daily updates of the webnovel, consistently commenting under each chapter and supporting the author while adding his own suggestions.

At one point he discovers "SSSSS-grade Infinite Regressor," a novel written by the original younger Han Sooyoung. He comments angrily that it is clearly plagiarized and is shot down for trying to promote the ridiculously unpopular original "Ways of Survival." When he approaches tls123 about this, the author only writes that they are glad they are getting more views, which Kim Dokja finds pitiful.

Eventually, as he finishes the final chapter of "Ways of Survival" on the transit one day after work, the novel becomes reality, beginning the events of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

THE FOURTH WALL

•The Fourth Wall is a skill possessed by Kim Dokja. Its previous identity is the Dokkaebi King of the altered 1863rd round; after overseeing the writing and publishing of Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World by Han Sooyoung, he triggered the start of the scenarios and transformed into the [Fourth Wall] skill to accompany his world's sole reader on his adventures.

•The Fourth Wall is a skill that protects Kim Dokja from any mental, or even physical pain. Allowing him to complete scenarios more easily, and cut off most skills. This wall also allows him to view the world as a novel, which weakens when he meets somebody connected to his "reality."

AS THE FOURTH WALL

In its duty as Kim Dokja's skill, the Fourth Wall has a number of abilities that center around Kim Dokja himself.

Can protect Kim Dokja against mental attacks and skills.

Can offset pain caused by injuries.

Prevents Kim Dokja's Attributes Window from being viewed, even by himself. This is presumably to hide his status as the lone reader of Ways of Survival, signified by the attribute [■■ Apostle].

"Walls off" Kim Dokja's emotions, allowing him to distance himself from events taking place and treat the world as a novel. It can forcibly strengthen itself and numb his emotions, should he get agitated over events such as his mother's life being in danger.

Weakens when Kim Dokja doesn't treat current events as a novel. For instance, it shakes when he meets individuals who he had a long history/deep connection with prior to the start of the scenarios, such as Lee Sookyung.

Can narrate Kim Dokja's thoughts and actions in narrative form. This can assist in upholding his "story", such as when he is banished outside the scenarios and his body begins to decay due to being outside a relevant narrative.

Can "eat" or absorb individuals, breaking them down to their Stories and then eating these Stories. When eaten, these individuals find themselves within the Fourth Wall's Library, and should the Fourth Wall find them worthy, they become Librarians, looking after the books and on occasion speaking to Kim Dokja. So far, the Wall has eaten Nirvana Moebius, Simulation (master of the Theatre Dungeon), and the Eater of Dreams. It also previously ate Lee Sookyung (but released her almost immediately at Kim Dokja's request) and Yoo Sangah (in order to preserve her rapidly scattering Story core). She worked as a Librarian for a short while before being released to a new form.

I just want to let any of the little baby accounts that follow me now because of the stupid new rule tumblr put in place to know:

If you don't have at least have some number of liked posts (not from me specifically but anywhere on here) in your Liked folder, by like a week after you've followed me, I will assume you are a bot and report & block you as such.

Or better yet start making posts yourself, like at least 1, or reblogging things you like. Have that be the first thing you do when you can start doing stuff.

I don't know what you think tumblr is, but this is a blogging site, you kind of gotta give the rest of us at least a vague idea that you're a sentient being with human experiences and desires ok.

What you should do on Tumblr

Now I don't mean put personal details like your real name, or where you live/work/go to school, or what your triggers are. That's none of any of our business, and honestly you shouldn't be putting that anywhere else either.

Stuff like your hobbies, or favorite books/tvshows/movies, or some weird out there thing that happened to you one time.

You want to interact with fandom more, this is a pretty good website to do it on, especially if it's for collaborative works.

You want to role play, there's entire role play communities on here.

You wanna do nothing but follow feel good blogs that posts nothing but cute animal photos you can do that.

Tumblr is what I like to call day-walking social media. In the fact that it allows you to be an absolute little creature on here in your own time, and be able to pass as a normal member of society IRL if you're doing it right.

If you're trying to get internet famous, you've infamously come to the wrong place as the most famous users on tumblr tend to be people the average tumblr user base has done their best to run off the site.

How tumblr works best is if what you're most easily identified as among your fellow tumblrites is your personal interests and quirks rather than your personal information.

There's no such thing as spam liking or spam reblogging on tumblr. You can dig into someone's post archive and like and reblog every single one of their posts and nothings going to happen to you or the person you're reblogging stuff from.

Blocking

You don't need a reason to block anyone.

I've blocked people for just seeing them spew hateful shit directed at another user and that made me uncomfortable.

I've blocked people who're in the same fandoms as me just because some of the stuff the write/draw makes me uncomfy.

I've blocked blogs who just makes posts about stuff I'm uninterested in but constantly come up in my search results because we're in the same fandom. As there's only so many variations of character/reader story tag variations I can be bothered to put into the block tag function before I just get sick of doing it.

I've blocked people for dumb blorbo opinions that I just cannot agree with, because that's far better than starting beef with a rando because I saw that they view a character differently than I do.

I've blocked people who I can only assume were making a trolling attempt in the comments of my own posts. Or they really were that illiterate and gutsy enough to come yell at me for their dumb interpretation of what I posted on my own post.

Tagging

There's the tag block feature as I mentioned earlier, though be warned it's not quite perfect.

Dumb people will try and censor themselves in the tags, which means it doesn't get blocked when you try and block that tag. So don't use numbers or symbols in place of letters. Not to mention improperly tagging all together.

Such as tagging a flashing image of something as Epilepsy rather than tagging it as Flashing, which is actually dangerous. As people who actually have Epilepsy tend to use their tag as a way to talk about their experiences and talk to fellow epileptic people meaning that they could get bombarded with flashing images unexpectedly if you're tagging flashing imagery as Epilepsy.
