I assume that he is affectionate towards his significant other or his gf.

He can show his affection but not in a direct way.

Like he would hug her from behind and give her a butterfly kiss when if he is in hurry to leave the mansion to teach his students.

Holding hands while you both walk side by side is his thing.

Generally he love to show his attention and affection but not in a direct way, he would make you feel his affection a miles away when he is not around:

Leaving you a letter before he head to the town writing all his feelings for you and how much he desire you.

Also I can see him show affection through small details like he would buy your favorite food or cook it by himself.

And we won't forget his morning kisses every day.

He is a sensual person he love to touch his significant other whenever they're close to him.

Like he would wrap his arm around her waist.

Kiss her nose or hair when she is beside him.

I see him as a loyal friend who loves to give his friends advices for their problems.

Probably your friendship with him begins when you fell in a problem and he tried to help you and there your friendship with him begins.

He is a great friend by the way he love to help you and he is protective and funny towards you.

It fascinates him how you try with your whole being to fight for yourself and other people around you.

As your bestfriend expect him to be warm and he is great at listening to you.

He will listen to your problems carefully and find solutions for them.

We shouldn't also forget about his teasing side.

YES he is a big teaser.

He would focus on one of your habits and tries to act it in a silly way to make you feel shy and a blushing mess.

It is really appealing to him how you blush and poke his arm whenever he tease you.

You want to cuddle with him, then there's no problem he is ready 24/7 to give you affection.

Usually his cuddles are warm and comfy.

His comforting scent can surrounded your senses making you numb at his mercy.

Making you feel warm and loved, pressing his soft lips against your hair and forehead.

He doesn't mind to cuddle with you especially when he is exhausted from a long day of work.

You knocked his door knowing he is there in his room, you opened the door taking a peek if you're allowed to enter to your boyfriend's room." Can I enter leon?" TBH I saw him like living with other residents but everything has changed when you walked in his life.

He wanted nothing but a private place for you both to have fun and be together.

At the beginning, he was daydreaming of you both having your own house.

And don't worry he is really good at cooking.

On the other hand he will help you with cleaning dishes,Washing and ironing clothes.

Also he would find it funny to put you up on his shoulders to clean windows when you can't reach to the top of the window.

He is really fair when it comes to cleaning like he would put turns on washing dishes after dinner or lunch, if you cook he will wash the dishes if he cook you'll wash dishes.

Probably you both will grow plants in the house to enjoy its own look and smell.

Certainly, he is a very responsible man who wants nothing but a smile on your beautiful face.

To him you're the most wonderful person on the earth BUT he is too prideful.

He wouldn't break up with you because he is bored or because he find someone else better or he don't deserve you.

No no no do not understand him wrong mademoiselle he is a very patient man who believe in second chances BUT the only thing that would make him break up with you because you cheated on him.

Yes he would leave you in this point.

If you cheated on him with someone who is a loser he would call you a trash and move on quickly.

He is prideful, and he gives you EVERYTHING, his heart, body and his whole being and you cheat on him??.

He would never forget about that.

It was a long night after Napoleon discovered your relationship with that man, he were surprised and shocked. How would his nunuche, his beautiful angle, his home cheat? And on him? It was really hard to believe, he felt a hole in his chest his vision become unclear is it because of his tears or what? he cried by himself remembering every single detail about your relationship with him and then he started to analyze everything that happened the past few days when you become way too far for him to reach, is that why you make excuses to not spend your time with him? Someone who is nothing but a trash? it was really hurtful of you to do that to him.

He would wait until he get a strong evidence that you're cheating.

Then he will face you with that evidence.

It was a rainy night, the storm was roaring outside the huge mansion nothing alive there. The darkness was covering everything in the black hallway. Napoleon was waiting for you in the gazebo. "I'm here Leon" you called his name in a cheerful tone. "Oh, yes I wanted to talk to you about something very important" he talked in a cold tone that made you shiver. "About what?" You asked keeping your tone cheerful as much as possible. "You were detached from me at the last period dear Nunuche. And I was thinking if you still want to be my girlfriend anymore". You felt you heart aching, did he just know that you were cheating on him. His tone made every single nerve in your body to jump fiercely to what will come next. "Mhm, in fact I suppose that last period I recognized that too" you wanted to keep it cool. Napoleon stood, walking a few steps then looking at you with a cold stare. "Do you think that I'm stupid to not recognize that you was cheating on me?" That sentence hit you like the thunder in that night. "You can't hide it anymore because I saw you both at that house together doing the do". You tried to talk but your tongue tangled at his stare. He wasn't joking and you couldn't defend yourself he know everything." Why? What did I do to you?" His tone changed and now he was blaming you." Napoleon I-". "No I don't want to know anything just leave me y/n we are over" he made his way out from the room.

♤F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He is really firm and responsible about marrying someone he love.

Normally he would think to propose to you after 6 months from being in a relationship.

But he would also ask if you're ready to get married and have babies with him.

If you do not have any problem and you're ready he would gladly take your hands kissing them then telling you how much he want you to be his and his only.

BUT if you're not ready he would wait until you're ready but don't worry he wouldn't leave you he is patient with you.

Napoleon was planning on something the past few days. You rambled to yourself, probably he was overthinking about his duties towards people in the town and how would he protect them. The knock on your door waken you from your thoughts. "Who?" You asked "It's me sebastian" he answered. "Yes come in sebastian". The strict butler entered the room with a crimson envelope in his gloved hand "This is for you from monsieur dewahaha Napoleon". You took the envelope;opening it. "It is an invitation to a ballroom party" you told the butler who was looking at you. " But do you know where's Napoleon?" You asked "I think he'll attend the party and he told me that he will meet you there" he said. "Oh then I should prepare myself". Sebastian got out of the room so he can give you a space to prepare yourself and in the evening everything was shining in the dazzling ballroom. All the residents was there dancing,having fun time and smiling. Napoleon wasn't there yet. And you started to get worried."Comte" you asked the gentleman who was dancing with you, Comte smiled warmly at you "Yes Cherié?" The gentleman was waiting for you to talk "Do you know where's Napoleon? Sebastian told me that he would be here and I can't find him, have you seen him?" Comte stop dancing. In fact everyone at the dance floor stopped. Looking at you and Comte. "Maybe he is behind you" Comte turned you to face Napoleon. He was kneeling on one knee smiling at you, holding a beautiful ring in a crimson box. "Dear Nunuche, the light of my life, the fire in my heart I would ask you to give me the honor of being your husband and I would be happy till the day I die if you say yes" he asked politely. The crowd of people who was surrounding the both of you was waiting for your answer "Yes! Leon Yes I'm ready to be your wife every day till the end". He placed the ring in your finger and then he kissed your hand " I'm honored now, my life is sweet like you my dear Nunuche".

♤G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He is Gentle and you can not ignore that whether you're his girlfriend, wife or even a lady who walk into streets.

Emotionally he wouldn't do anything hurtful to hurt your feelings.

He is always taking your hands kissing them, playing with your hair, braiding it.

Pressing his lips on your shoulder when you're washing dishes in the kitchen.

Wrapping his arms gently around your waist while you dance with him.

The only time he would be harsh with you is when he loose control over himself while love making but let's stay on the fluff side okay?.

I can see him like hugs.

And he would admit that since he want you to know how much he care for physical affection.

He would do it a couple of times a day like in the morning before you both leave your shared room, when he meet you at the mansion's hall and before sleeping.

When he feel particularly clingy he would make excuses just to wrap his arms about your waist.

Usually his hugs are warm and comfy, he will make you feel like you're wrapped with a fluffy blanket.

Sometimes he hug pretty tight make you breathless.

Also he'll make you feel safe and secure because he is a gentleman though.

It wouldn't take him too long to say it.

Like maybe after two months from meeting you.

And when he feel that you're ready to love and accept him with his dark past and loneliness he would say it with no shame.

That night were cold even though it is the spring season but you still feel those cold breezes against your warm cheeks, you wrapped you arms around your waist setting at the garden bench wondering how your life changed a lot in the past two months just when you heard footsteps sound you turned your head to saw Napoleon walking towards the bench you're setting on" So what are you doing there nunuche?" He said it while he set near to you side by side" Hmm nothing I was enjoying the night weather" you replied,all that cold inside you vanished when you're near him why? You were asking yourself. "Y/N" you looked at him, he was staring deep into your eyes with an endless passion "you know we have been very close to each other lately and I'm really happy that you decided to stay here with me I mean with us so I wanted to tell you how much I'm happy for you" you smiled at him with no reply "I know that it is really hard for you to forget about your past and live here like you don't have anything from that time-"

"No Napoleon no I'm really happy that I decided to stay here with you and you know what I couldn't-"

"Handle the idea of loosing you or not seeing you again Y/N! I feel like you became a part of me Y/N" He said "I'm really in love with you!" He said it with a clear voice and affectionate gaze, He cleared his voice "I love you!".

♤J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He trust you with his whole heart but this doesn't mean he don't have insecurities.

When someone compliment your work like your cleaning or cooking skills he would feel proud of you.

BUT the only thing that would throw him of the edge when someone is trying to protect you.

This would hit him pretty hard.

He is the only one who is allowed to protect his dear nunuche no one else.

Seriously, when it comes to protecting you he is the first one to do that.

When someone offers him to protect you his pride will go from 0 to 100 in a second and you'd see the prideful Napoleon instead of sugar baby Leon.

I think that's because he'll doubt his manhood like he isn't a man to protect his beloved ones.

So he'll refuse any offer that makes you safe to only save you by himself.

And if he ever need someone's help he would call Jeanne🥺.

Hmm... let's talk about his cute side of jealousy if he saw you smiling for one of the residents and helping them instead of some alone time with him.

He'll pout and stare at the floor and avoiding your gaze until you cancel all of your schedule to spend time with him.

And he always succeed when he use that pout to tell you that he need you and he's ready to follow you through the whole mansion just to take a small kiss or a reassuring hug.

His kisses are warm and sexy .

If he is in a mood for making out he would kiss you French kisses.

It is like setting your body and heart on fire, you feel nothing more than delicious pleasure through your whole being.

Usually he love your lips a lot and he doesn't care about their thickness like if you have thin lips he would find it sexy to use his tongue inside your mouth a lot and if you have a plump lips he would bite them while kissing you.

His favorite place to be kissed his neck.

OH GOD just press your lips there and watch him burning.

He is great when it comes to children.

He know exactly what he should do and if they made a mistake how he punish them.

Usually he act cool and strong around them to make them feel safe and in owe of his presence.

Other times he doesn't mind playing with them and make fun scenarios to make them laugh.

But when it comes on having children with you, he is ready 100% and responsible to grow a noble child who know how to fence and face their problems with bravery soul.

Also he can make a great father to your child.

He is loving and strict and both of you know how to deal with them.

I can see him falling asleep with your baby on his arms.

And when he reach the age that babies start to eat simple things he will offer to feed them with a small spoon and a bright smile.

He laugh when the baby starts to call him papa and he hugs the baby out of happiness.

Would never hurt the child's feelings and he love to treat all his children equally no matter if they're boys or girls.

I think he would love to have at least two kids because he can't handle the idea of you getting hurt and weak because of the pregnancy.

The sweetest thing when he kiss you in the morning.

He'll garb one of your hands and wrap his other one on your waist pulling you close so he can have a kiss or two from your heavenly lips.

And if he is in the mood for cuddles, he would cuddle with you, whispering how much you're beautiful, strong and how much he is in love with you!.

If he feel playful he would grab your butt while cuddling you to see your reaction.

But if you're dense for him he would take things too far from just cuddles and sweet kisses.

You know what I mean y'all. Let's stay on the fulff side.

He is always tired from dealing with other people's problems in the whole day so he prefer to just cuddle with you and read something with you until you both fell asleep.

Other times when he feel particularly energetic he would take you for a walk in the forest.

Sometimes he would take you to restaurants to try dishes with him.

Cooking with him for the residents would be a thing too so expect him to do that with you.

He can often be really busy that he can't return home early and you would feel scared and worried for him and he love that so much.

Once you fell asleep on the couch while you're waiting him to return so he carried you to his bed then fell asleep too with his arms wrapped around you.

Also he fell asleep with you in front of the fire place because you both were tired so you both didn't bother to go to your shared room.

Believing in honesty and equality he love to make his partner satisfied and sure about everything he does.

Actually he need a partner who knows how to read people well.

If he ever felt sad or worried he would confront his partner about his feelings.

Also if you feel insecure about something don't be shy or hesitant to tell him how you feel.

He would love it when his girl is honest and doesn't hide many secrets from him.

And if you ever ask you about his past he'll talk about it with a stable expressions to not hurt your feelings when he mentions his past wives.

Or his kingdom, but trust me he isn't the type to hide a lot of secrets.

He doesn't loses control over his anger easily.

It would take a lot of provoking from you or someone else to make him blow.

But once he lose control over himself you'll be really afraid of him.

I can't see him being mad at you unless you did something wrong that would threaten your life or you just cheated on him.

Napoleon have the ability to make you think like he didn't forget anything about you but actually he do forget.

He know exactly what he should do and remember to make you feel like you're his whole world but he can forget some unnecessary details.

He tend to forget unnecessary things about you like your favorite shop or your favorite actor because he think it isn't important to remember.

On the other hand he know that he should remember your birthday, your favorite food, your favorite Color.

And things that you hate like some vegetables type or someone that bother you yeah I'm looking at you theo,

His favorite moment is when you kissed him at the first time.He was really happy and excited about that.Also he love it when the moment is full of affection and passion.

♤S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He is protective and supportive to the moon and back.

Actually he love to protect you and take care of you.

But if you don't like that you have to like it since Napoleon feels annoying and sad when you try to tell him to stop protecting you.

He's there for you always and he doesn't want you to fight your problems by yourself.

The way he protect you is the same way he guard a unique gemstone.

To him you're the whole world and he would put a lot of efforts to satisfy you and help you.

He like to be protected but not in a physical way.

Actually he love it when you try to protect him from his dark memories, from his past and from his loneliness.

The way you listen to him ramble about his day hours and hours and you don't get bored of that it is heaven to him.

The way you play with his hair while listening to him talking about his day and his head laying on your fluffy thigh this would hit exactly on the spot.

Let's see here, he know exactly the best time to make something special for you.In normal days he'll try to break the routine by having some indoors activities like cooking together and so on.On other occasions like your birthday he would throw you a big party and ask everyone to help him with that.

He would try with all his being to be perfect in your eyes.

And he don't want you to regret your decision of staying with him.

He usually doesn't show them to you and it take a very long time to discover them since he know how to hide them pretty will.

But I assume that he doesn't have lots of bad habits maybe one or two.

The first one is sleeping until afternoon.

The second one is when he talk while he's sleeping.

Other times when he had a nightmare he just scream and shout.

He care about his look but not to the point of obsession!.

He know how to take care of his hygiene so well.

Like his smell, his beard and mustache he shave them when they grow.

Also he love to take shower after sparring with Jean, after finish cooking and when he return from town.

Usually he have a sexy smell like wood with a hint of spices.

Other times he smell like grass and wet weather.

He doesn't really use a specific cologne he have many and he use them based on his mood or the celebration,

It depends on his partner more than him.

If you don't pay attention to his needs and you ignore them he would feel sad about that.

But let's say that you're really into him and you're head over heels in love with him so the answer would be yes.

He would feel lonely and empty without you.

He told you once that you're his other half and his soulmate so he can't really leave you for some silly reasons.

Napoleon loves to see you wearing his jacket and clothes in general.

Also he is really confident about his look he know what part of his body you like.

When his s/o don't trust herself.

Napoleon admire strong and independent women so he wouldn't like it when his girl is too shy.

Also he can't really deal with emotional swings especially when his girl ignores him for no reason just because she felt like he would leave her, no no no he is always clear and obvious about his feelings.

On the other hand he wouldn't like gossip it make him feel like you're shallow with no brain.

He value women's kindness but not to the point that you can be naive and people take advantage of you.

He is really into someone who can balance everything.

He talk quite a lot when he is asleep.

And his morning kiss habits.

Also he might surprise you of new habits that you both created it together.

Like massaging his back a couple of times a week and rubbing any cream on his face for a good moistening before going to sleep.

Or when he play with your hair while he murmur sweet melodies into your ear.

That differently would be a positive habits before sleep and when you both wake up and it help your relationship to grow more with Napoleon.

He’s used to seeing you writing in a notebook. You two work on his reading and writing all the time. So he figures it is perhaps something you are creating for one of your lessons.

One day, when he realizes it is not for your lessons, he curiously asks you what it is. Is it a journal perhaps, as you had him write for practice?

You shake your head and bashfully explain it is a story you are writing.

He smiles brightly at you. “You write stories? That is amazing!”

He enthusiastically asks if he can read your work.

You nod and pass the book to him.

It takes him some time, but with the way you’ve taught him, he is able to get through it.

He tells you the book is wonderful and you should see about getting it published.

He believes your writing is so beautiful and a gift to be shared with the world.

SFW Prompt 3 Suitor reacts to a jealous MC/reader:

One day you are visiting Jean at work, bringing him lunch while you finish up some shopping in town.

When you walk into the weapons shop he works at, you are surprised to see a woman there. Most women in this time don’t come into this type of place. Not unless they are with their father or husband.

You notice she is talking to Jean, so you stand back and wait patiently. Silently observing the situation. You can’t help but to notice the woman is rather beautiful…and is wearing a dress showing quite a lot of cleavage for a woman in this time.

You can hear the way she says things as she asks Jean to repair a small dagger she says to carry for self defense. The way she looks at Jean.

He is a beautiful man, so you can’t fault her for looking. The woman has eyes.

But you couldn’t help but to feel that green-eyed monster rearing its ugly head. It was one thing to look…but this woman was FLIRTING with Jean.

She seems to take forever to leave and when she finally does, Jean is smiling at you.

You return his smile and soon he is closing up the shop so you two can go enjoy a picnic.

While there you happen to ask about that woman.

Jean just says she has been coming into the shop the last few days, asking him to repair various items. The dagger. A sword that belonged to her late father and the like.

When you make a comment that she’s clearly coming by for more than repairs, Jean looks at you confused (boy is so innocent and oblivious).

You point out she was flirting with Jean and had naughty intentions towards him as no woman in this century wears a dress that low cut around just any man.

Jean is surprised by all of this and then realizes, “You are jealous mademoiselle.”

“Of course I am!” You admit. “She was gorgeous!”

Jean cups your face between his hands and places a chaste on your lips. 

It has warmed his heart in a way, to see you jealous over him. But it has also saddened him, as he never wants you to feel insecure. “You are my only love.” He tells you. He will do whatever he can to be sure you feel comfortable and secure. Spending as much time with you as needed and even telling that lady she must go somewhere else for her repairs as he can no longer provide that service for her. You are his true love and his priority. You comfort and security are more important to him than anything.

Quarreling with Jean

a/n: hey hey! changed the reader to be gender neutral! hope you don't mind also hmmm I don't believe jean is the type to have petty arguments with his s/o... so whatever it might be, it's probably huge :0 but then again, I've never played his route. what is your take on this though? I'd like to know. + just realised that the pov jumps here and there in this xD sorry about that!

"Stop overworking yourself... That is all I ask," he pleaded you.

"I'm not overworking myself, stop exaggerating." You didn't even turn around to look at him properly, only focused on preparing dinner.

Jean looked at you with a frown, not happy with whatever you said.

He was not exaggerating, in fact, all of the mansion residents believed that you were overworking yourself.

But you say he's exaggerating? Not a single day has passed where you've had proper rest. Working tirelessly, unnecessarily. Looking for more things to do.

Whenever he'd tried to coax you to relax with him, he was always met with "I'm sorry Jean, not now" or "Ah... I still have a few more things to do, tomorrow for sure!"

Like that, many days passed. He knew you had a penchant of keeping yourself occupied, and were quite the workaholic. That is all fine, working is not a problem, but not knowing your limit is.

However, you, don't know your limit and neither have you taken a single rest. That is concerning, not only to him but to everyone else as well.

Jean left the kitchen wordlessly after that. Thinking it was useless to talk you out of this. You'd come to understand sooner or later by yourself.

What he didn't know is that, you thought he was angry with you. Your head was too foggy and tired to actually think properly and decided "oh so we're quarrelling".

And thus, a misunderstanding occured.

And that developed into you ignoring Jean throughout the day.

Meanwhile Jean was left feeling like this: 🧍"what did I do?"

The other mansion residents were also uncomfortable with the tension between you two but couldn't do anything other than... Awkwardly smiling or ignoring the situation entirely. No in between.

But like I said, Jean was feeling very 🧍 so he barely talked with you, thinking back about what he might have done for you to give him the silent treatment.

Jean was laying quietly in his bed when the weather started to act up again. The past few days had been raining heavily, and today was no exception. By night time, it got worse. Now it was raining heavily with thunder and lightening.

Sebastian and you were busy running around to prepare for the sudden thunderstorm, preparing items and food for emergencies. Once most of the major things were wrapped up, you got forcefully sent back to your room to sleep.

Then it hit you. It's thundering and it's loud. The floor and windows were shaking, you could feel it while sleeping in bed too. For a moment there was a flash of white outside the window and then a huge crack followed after.

The loud noises kept you awake even though you tried to sleep, and slowly anxiety creeped in which kept you tossing and turning. Then you also felt the guilt of ignoring Jean. Honestly, you knew he only wanted for you to take a break... And you were in fact overworking yourself.

Perhaps you were mad about the fact that Jean was right, and maybe because he left the kitchen wordlessly afterwards.

A while later, you gave up, grabbed your pillow and slowly sneaked out of your room. You suppose it was time to apologise to your boyfriend and maybe get some snuggles.

It was almost as if Jean was waiting for you

Poor lad, still in the 🧍 phase 😭 but he was glad that you came to him anyways.

Both of you had the talk™ and cleared out the "misunderstanding"

Eventually falling asleep while hugging eachother to sleep.

"Good night," Jean whispered, softly placing a kiss on your head.

SIPPING HOT CHOCOLATE AND STEALING A KISS - IKEMEN SERIES HEADCANONS (Jean d'Arc, Luke Randolph, Harr Silver, Kennyo)

Jean d'Arc

It was a particularly cold day; even sitting by the fire in the mansion didn't do much to warm you.

Jean noticed you were shivering and wrapped you in his arms. You gazed into his violet eyes and had a better idea.

You took him by the hand and led him to the kitchen. "You didn't want to cuddle?" he asked?

"Let's make some hot chocolate together."

Jean looked at you funny.

"Jean...have you never had hot chocolate before?"

He blinked at you. "Hot...chocolate?"

Oh boy.

You started to pull out the ingredients, grateful that Sebastian kept a well stocked kitchen.

You showed Jean how to whisk the cocoa powder into the warm milk, placing your hand over his when he began to whisk the milk to a near pulp.

"Slow down, Jean. Like this." Your fingers grazed his, the warmth from the stove much needed and comforting.

You remained behind him, wrapping your free arm around his waist in a tender embrace, recalling memories of your youth and how your mother would make this same recipe for you on cold winter days.

When the drink was done, you poured it into two mugs and brought it back to the salon where the fire was still roaring.

Bringing your mug to your lips, you lightly blew on the beverage. Jean watched you, and followed in your steps.

"Gentle...you don't want to spill your drink," you warned him.

Jean waited for you to take the first sip. Bringing the mug to his mouth he took a small sip. "How do you like it?"

"It's hot," he replied with a small smile. "It's good."

He then stole a quick kiss leaving a smile on your lips.

"You had some on your mouth," he said. "It tastes better from your lips," he added, taking another sip from his mug.

Luke Randolph

Luke firmly held your hand, his large hand warm on this cold day, as you both walked through the winter markets.

"I'm running low on my favorite honey and I was hoping to find the stand here that sold it," he said, craning his neck searching for his favorite shop.

You smiled, knowing how much your bear loved his honey. You kept an eye out too as you passed stalls selling scarves and hats and cakes and teas.

But no honey in sight.

"Mhmm, that smells good," Luke announced.

You took in a deep breath, the scent of warm chocolate filling your lungs. "Care to take a break and grab a beverage?"

"Sounds great," he replied, leading you to take source of the delicious scent.

You soon found the source of the scent - a cart selling piping hot mugs of hot chocolate.

After the merchant handed you each a mug, you took a moment to breathe in the rich chocolate aroma.

Luke quickly took a large gulp from his drink. "It's not honey, but it's sweet." He smiled at you as you both savored the warm drink in silence.

After you both drained your mugs, you continued on your search for honey. But you did not have far to go.

"Luke, look!" you called out, spotting the sweet and sticky substance nestled not far from the hot chocolate stand.

Luke's grass green eyes widened as he stopped in his tracks. He turned to you and gave you a quick kiss.

"What was that for?" you asked, surprised.

"If you hadn't suggested stopping for hot chocolate, we might not have found the honey. So thank you."

Luke stole one final kiss before heading towards the jars of honey. "The honey might be sweet, but you are sweeter."

Harr Silver

Harr and Loki had been out all afternoon by the lake catching fish for dinner.

It was a chilly, winter day and you wanted to surprise them with a treat. You thought there would be nothing sweeter than to return home to a fresh pot of hot chocolate.

After gathering all the ingredients, you happily brewed the drink, excited to surprise them with the treat.

Loki bounced through the door first. He gave a quick wave and mumbled something about needing to check something in his room.

Harr soon followed after, carrying a small basket of fish. Smiling, you greeted him and took the basket from him to bring into the kitchen.

When you returned, you were carrying two cups of hot chocolate, the steam still rising from the top.

"I thought you'd like something hot after spending the afternoon out in the cold," you said, handing him a mug.

Harr smiled softly at you, quietly thanking you. "This is quite good," he commented, after taking a sip.

"I only wish Loki had stayed to join us." You had grown use to the family unit the three of you created since moving into the treehouse. While you appreciated alone time with Harr, you also enjoyed spending time with Loki as well.

Harr's eyes narrowed, his silver gaze darkening. "I must disagree."

A slight flush crept on your cheeks, a soft smile spread on your lips.

Harr leaned over and kissed you, his lips sweet from the hot chocolate. "I will never turn down the opportunity to spend time alone with you," he whispered.

"Have you ever had hot chocolate?" you asked Kennyo as you walked hand in hand down the modern day streets of Japan.

Having traveled through the wormhole to present time, Kennyo was like a fish out of water, much like you were when you first traveled through the wormhole to the Sengoku period.

You had wanted Kennyo to experience all of your favorite things while you were here. When you passed by the cafe, the familiar aroma of warm chocolate wafting through the air, you suddenly felt a craving for the hot beverage on this winter day.

It felt good to come inside from the chilly wind and quickly found a spot in a secluded corner.

You ordered the drinks - plain, no whipped cream or marshmallow so that the pure chocolate taste could be appreciated.

Kennyo smiled as you passed him the beverage, his finger grazing yours, lingering longer than it should.

Taking a sip, the chocolate was sweet on your tongue, its warmth easing the winter chill in your bones.

Peering over the rim of your mug, you were curious if Kennyo was enjoying it.

"I like it," he replied with a small smile. "But next time," he said gesturing to the other patrons in the cafe, "I want that fluffy stuff and toppings on mine like they're having."

Giggling, you stole a kiss from him, his lips warm and sweet, happy to experience all your favorite things with the man you loved.

Leonardo da Vinci 🕯

His whisky-colored eyes open slowly, heavy with sleep. He can usually sleep through anything. He is a champion sleeper. But he is also a champion lover and protector of you. Being so means he is tuned into all aspects of you, including the sounds you make.

You're snoring. He rolls onto his side, propping himself up on his elbow to watch you. You're flat on your back and have a bad cold. Humans tend to fall ill when the weather turns from summer to autumn. It has been that way since as long as he can remember. And you, sweet one, have caught a cold that has settled itself comfortably in your sinuses and refuses to budge.

But he knows what will help, just a little. He reaches over, wrapping his arms around you. "Just rolling you over, cara mia. It's ok." He helps adjust you so you are now laying on your side, gentle enough that the only sign of acknowledgment is a deep, contented sigh on your part. Snoring that was once forte now softens to piano.

He curls up behind you, wrapping his long, warm limbs around your body and places several kisses on the top of your head. If kisses could cure colds, you would never be sick. 

“Good night, cara mia.” Your answer? A tiny snore.

You are exhausted. Today was the day you felt strong as Atlas, ready to take on the world. Or in this case, beating the heck out of the carpets. They were desperately due for a cleaning and you were excited to get out there, rattan carpet beater in hand, and let out some steam on those gorgeous rugs.

By the end of the day though, you felt like the carpets had won. And with barely enough energy to kiss your love goodnight, you fell onto the bed, asleep before your head even settled into your pillow.

Comte enters the room several hours later, struck by the sounds coming from your shared bedroom. He sets his chamberstick down and his heart is flooded with tenderness at the sight of you, still in your clothing, limbs askew across the covers, snoring with heavy, leaden exhaustion.

He kneels down, golden gaze soft, and sees you managed to undo the apron you wore to protect yourself from the clouds of dust but nothing else. “Ah, chérie,” he murmurs to himself, affection sweet as honey in the softness of his voice.

He unties your boots, carefully setting them aside. His fingers loosen the buttons that run down the front of your dress, giving your chest room to breathe. He reaches up, undoing the scarf that protected your hair, setting it aside for the morning’s wash. 

When he has made you as comfortable as possible, he reaches for the soft, beige day blanket at the end of the bed and drapes it over your body. Leaning down, he smooths back loose tendrils of hair from your face and kisses your cheek. You snort, your mouth opening and closing like a guppy. He shakes his head, grinning. One last kiss to your forehead.

“Sweet dreams, ma chérie. I’ll see you in the morning,” he says softly, although he could probably shout it and you wouldn’t stir. He stands, reaching for his still-lit chamberstick and leaves you to your not-so-silent slumber.

Theodorus van Gogh 🎨

Theo has brought you to the heavens and back tonight. More than once. Your entire body is filled with that heavy, satisfied, starlit exhaustion only he can give you. He laughs softly as you cover your yawn with the back of your hand.

“Tapping out already, Hondje?” His teasing is filled with warmth as are his arms when he gathers you to him, settling you neatly against his side. The feel of his bare skin on yours has gone from tantalizing to comforting, sensual to safe as you throw one leg over his and wrap your arm around his midsection.

“Mm hm,” is all you manage. You place a kiss on his bare chest, right over his heart and then lay your cheek there, eyes already closing. His hand strokes your hair, the final push you need to slip off to dreamland.

His own eyes, blue as the sea on a summer’s day, grow heavy as sleep reaches for him, ready to claim him for her own.

But then…..he is pulled away from her grasping hands by you. And the sounds you are making.

“Hondje?” His voice is a whisper as he tilts his chin down, trying to get a look at you. Could those noises really be coming from you?

Oh, they are. You’re snoring, having slipped into deep sleep almost immediately, your body still humming in the afterglow of your lovemaking. 

Theo watches you in the dimmed lighting of the bedroom….and then slowly, a wide grin crosses his handsome mouth. “Heh,” he chuckles softly to himself as he shifts you a bit closer. He doesn’t mind the sound. Not at all. If anything, he’s sort of…proud. He wore you out so much that you started snoring. 

Goed gedaan, Theo he thinks as he closes his eyes, relishing the feel of you safe and snug against him, resting above the heart that beats only for you. Good job.

SFW Prompt 4- Suitor comforting MC/reader when missing original time

He knows something is off immediately. He is rather attuned to your moods and any changes in them.

“Talk to me, cara mia?” He encourages, cupping your face between his hands.

You hesitate a moment, but eventually tell him. You’ve been afraid to tell him that you were feeling a little homesick for your original time and missing the people from your life there. Afraid he will think you regret your choice to remain in the past with him. But you tell him that that isn’t the case.

Leonardo assures you he knows and he understands your feelings and that there is nothing wrong with them. He knows you do not love him any less. 

He takes you in his arms, holding you close, fingers gliding through your hair.

“It’s alright, cara.” He assures you. 

He then asks you to tell him about the things and people you miss.

He spends the next several days tinkering until he has created some of the things you’ve described. He even has Comte find a way to bring some things from your time through the door.

He is happy to hold you any time you need it and will do whatever it takes to keep you happy and comfort you whenever you miss your old home. 

He also assures you that should you ever desire to return home, he would be happy to return with you. He just wants you to be happy and to be by your side for as long as he can.

I recently made a post proclaiming how ready I am to leave fluff behind for a little while and dive headfirst into some angst / tension. And when I asked if I should open up requests, the response was strong enough that I’ve decided to do just that!

Welcome to what I’ve named my Broken Heartstrings series: a counter to all the spicy smut and sweet fluff that is sure to be heading our way as we leave Christmas behind and slide into the new year where Valentine’s Day events are waiting.

Pick a prompt from the list below. They are intentionally super vague! This way, it can be as general as you want or you can be specific.
