open your windows. the fresh air and sunlight will do you good and it takes like 5 seconds.

go buy some plants, there are like a gazillion that are next to impossible to kill. and don't come at me with 'ohhh I'll probably find a way hahaha" NO. the plants will be so helpful! they produce oxygen, bring nature indoors which psychologically improves your mental state, and they're just nice to look at! you can name them! sculpt and/or paint little pots for them!

STOP LISTENING TO SAD MUSIC. I cannot stress this enough. it just makes things worse. please stop. make a playlist of all your favorite stupid, happy, pump-up songs and listen to them all the time until they get annoying. then repeat!

acquire a gazillion stuffed animals. so much serotonin for such a small price

get a water bottle and put fun stickers on it, and designate that water bottle to be only for water. nothing else goes in it. that way you can drink out of it for kind of a long time before needing to wash it. keep it filled with water and actually drink out of it. drink as much water as you can, all the time.

chew gum! idk why but it works bro. especially watermelon.

hug people and ask people to hug you. hugs are so amazing it's like pure happiness but with the added perk of Deep Pressure. it can be from your friends, family, s/o, whoever.

make sure there's a lot of light in your room. not good to wallow in darkness. put up fairy lights, get fun lamps, light candles, keep your blinds open, etc.

dress like how you want to feel. be colorful, fun, and comfortable. don't wear hoodies, sweatpants and ratty old shoes, I know it's appealing but it's just going to keep you in that depressed state. I like to wear dresses, colorful jeans, graphic tees from 5-Below, combat boots, and lots of funky earrings. (seriously 5-Below is a lifesaver for literally anything!!!) you can get a lot of these things for super cheap - I got a 20 pack of fun earrings like duckies, mushrooms, mini water bottles, etc. for like $11, and a lot of my colorful jeans are like 6 bucks at the thrift store. whatever your style is or whatever you want it to be, work to make that happen. because getting dressed is one of the simplest things you'll do in a day, so why not make the most of it?

doodle. it's fun and simple, and it'll give your hands something to do other than pick at your skin if you do that kind of stuff (see below).

on a similar note, make art!!!!! it doesn't have to be good!!!!!! just make art all the time, as often as you can. write crappy fanfiction. make friendship bracelets. sculpt a funky lil cat. draw your comfort characters. art is so healing and it will do wonders for you. even just like run your hands through a giant bag of beads like I do :P

get fidgets and bring them everywhere with you. this is more of an anxiety/stimming thing for me but I pick at my fingers, lips, pimples, eyebrows, etc., and it hurts a lot and will probably leave scars. fidgets are just amazing. I'm partial to tangles and infinity cubes :) gum and chewelry are good for this as well (for when I bite my fingers/clothes or chew the skin off my lips)

if you find yourself with a whole day with nothing to do and you don't have the energy to get up and do anything, go to the park. bring a blanket, some snacks, and headphones, and just lay there and listen to music. sleep. watch youtube. literally anything you would normally do when you don't have energy, except it's outside in the sun and grass and nature around other people who are doing the same thing! 10/10

get a pet if you can. even just fish, but really a fluffy, snuggly animal is probably best such as a dog or cat. OH MY GOD THEY HELP SO MUCH. ANIMALS ARE MAGIC. I don't think I've ever been sad while holding or petting my grandma's dog. (our family doesn't have one right now lol)

spray perfume/body spray on you. faster and easier than deodorant and it usually smells better

if you're gonna scroll, scroll pinterest. honestly, it's probably best to get rid of things like tiktok and snapchat, but that's kinda unrealistic for most people so I get it <3 pinterest is probably gonna be better than other social media cause it's more creative?? if you know what I mean?? and usually it's reading things and not mindlessly watching videos

if you don't have the energy to do stuff with your hair, put it up in a bun! fast simple and easy. takes like 5 seconds, even for someone with super thick curly hair like me. (or cut it short! but most of us aren't brave enough to do that lol)

eat fruit. sweet and comforting, but healthy!! so much better for you than junk food, and honestly it tastes better most of the time too. I recommend strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, watermelon, and cantaloupe. easy to take with you on the go and sooooo good <333

play calming video games such as animal crossing, minecraft, stardew valley, cats with soup (if you're into mobile games), etc. puzzle games are good too! if you want something more combat-y, I would recommend the zelda games or forager. still chill and mellow but has more combat and story/lore

garden if you can. I know this kind of ties in with having plants in your room, but if you're able and you have the energy, keep a flower and/or vegetable garden. there's something so beautiful in putting your hands in the warm dirt, smelling your freshly-planted flowers, eating sun-infused vegetables that taste infinitely better than store-bought. it's so nice, but I know it's not for everyone so don't worry about it if you don't get around to it <3

sleep in the bus/car on the way to school if you're tired. not a perfect solution but better than falling asleep in class

inhale through your nose, not your mouth. it's better for your lungs and you'll get better air quality that way. it also helps calm you better than mouth breathing, and you can't exactly smell the fresh air through your mouth :P

read. sit down and read a book. carry one with you wherever you go. spend a weekend day in the library with a huge stack of books just reading. it's so calming and helps stimulate your brain. doesn't matter what you read as long as it's making you happy :)

surround yourself with color, not dark drab colors. hang up art and posters on your walls, get bright blankets and pillows, lay out a tiny lil carpet, make bead curtains and string them up on your curtain rod, set out little figurines/sculptures around your room. put color and life everywhere around you, and that will start to seep into your soul.

tea is always good. or if you don't like tea, hot water with lemon juice and honey. basically the same :)

if you ever just don't want to do something, like you just absolutely don't want to get up and do _ thing, think about future you. would they be like "bro thanks so much you really helped me out there" if you did the thing? if yes, then do it, no matter how impossible it seems. you'll thank yourself later.

They are really doubling down on the “Sephiroth is Hojo’s son and was raised by him” imo

That kid quotes him perfectly, he poses like him, he has a clearly close and personal tie to him, so much that he understands what Hojo did to the subjects in the pods almost immediately. His hatred for the man is tangible too.

I would love if Vincent were the father, but I am totally happy if they keep focusing on the similarities between Hojo and Sephiroth—and the tension between them. Sane Sephiroth’s greatest hatred is for his own father.

I'm fine with Vincent or Hojo being the father because there's tragedy on both ends. It's definitely WAY more messed up if Hojo is the father because then you have to contend with the idea that Sephiroth has been abused and violated by the person who was supposed to protect him all his life.

That's not even accounting for Hojo spending two decades leaking private stuff for Sephiroth's fan club. Or forcing Sephiroth to come rescue him in BC. Or WHATEVER THE HELL is up with First Soldier. The fan club stuff is especially gross because "Chairwoman H" seemed to really be playing up Sephiroth's more...attractive qualities. Which opens up an uncomfortable can of worms that I'm not going to go into detail on here.

Sephiroth's hatred for Hojo is one of his strongest characteristics pre-Nibelheim. You get the impression that Sephiroth has seen some horrible, horrible shit based on the sheer disgust and contempt in his voice just mentioning Hojo. But at the same time, Sephiroth also frequently references Hojo or draws from what he's learned from him. I'd like to think their relationship is kind of emotionally parasitic.

I really do wonder how Seph feels about Hojo currently in FS. He has not yet begun to openly speak ill of the man, so it's likely Sephiroth still views Hojo in a neutral to positive light. But we'll see how that plays out.

There is a huge stress about getting a message or something. while im already rambling, i'll say that i started vipI in september bc i was doing some really bad math in my notebook that showed i needed like 115k dia to get 5 copies even with vipII (i am not a math guy........) and was like "oh man i am not gonna reach that goal by january, i guess if im gonna spend money anyway i'll do a slow trickle instead of dropping everything in january" and then i actually did the event and realized i used less than half of my savings LOL never trust foosy math, that meant i could rank tho :]

Y’know what annoys me? Most Trivia Murder Party fans. If you feel like you belong in the most category and/or feel like you’re going to be attacked by reading this: please do not read further, this isn’t designed to be an attack on anyone, but i do not sugarcoat my feelings one bit ether. Now for the rest of you who are interested in reading out my very long vent about my distain for the fandom’s babification of TMP & TMP 2: click “Keep reading” instead. (But be warned: my words are venomous to the ill prepared.)

Now this isn’t talking about ALL of them: i mean for starters, i have no qualms with the majority of Russian Trivia Murder Party fans, since they actually stay quite true to the themes of the source material, i’m talking about the actual children who take this game that’s themed around horror and death and turn it into a children’s show!

Like the amount of poll vaulting these children do with their headcannons to remove everything that’s scary or even SLIGHTLY violent about the Trivia Murder Party series deserves an Olympic medal. There’s a joke about masturbating in a cemetery for Pete’s sake! The “not family friendly” tag is there for a reason.

I mean not only do they infantilize the host, turning them from a quirky individual who can be incredibly threatening when they want to be to just “uwu stabby stabby”, but they also somehow manage to infantilize the VICTIMS! Y’know, the voodoo dolls that are meant to represent you, the player behind the phone?

And i mean i have nothing against giving the victims a little personality, but like...god these guys treat The Jester like they are an actual infant! If i was shot everytime i saw a “Jeter likes cheese” post; it’d be a miracle if i was still alive! And why do you guys ship them with The Sheriff of all victims?!? I just don’t get that, never did and probably never will. Not to mention how much they downplay some victims like Lust, Pride, Gluttony or Despair, to the point where they don’t even resemble their sins anymore!

Now let me tell you about these headcannons. First of all: the whole “they get turned into the dolls” pisses me off SO MUCH! Every time i see this happen, it just RUINS my enjoyment then and there. The only reason why these kids even headcannon this is because acknowledging the fact that whenever a doll get’s shot, or stabbed, or thrown into a blender: there’s supposed to be a human that’s getting mystically mangled like the doll! And since any blood whatsoever is too scary for them to handle, they would rather turn people into dolls or completely remove the voodoo from voodoo doll. Because god forbit a piece of media run by a serial killer have blood!

And don’t get me started on the shit-show that is Schmitty X [REDACTED]. The amount of hurdles these babies jump to justify that this is a healthy relationship and not abusive stockholm syndrome is frankly disgusting. Now it’s one thing to base your ship entirely around the original Trivia Murder Party, where they are just friends and shipping them wouldn’t be problematic. And it’s another thing to ship them and make it an abusive one. But...god...god these kids are so insistent that ether

If you are looking for a indepth series that will make you cry so much the storm light archive by Brandon Sanderson is very good

It is an epic fantasy so be warned you will have to trudge through a lot of indepth world building the first book is very thick

It has a really in depth magic system and lots of very complex characters and if you feel like you will never live up to your dad's expectations no matter what you do then you will find lots of relatable characters lol

Warning for lots of characters who are mentally ill and some suicidal ideation as well as alcohol addiction, the book focuses on the concept of magic powers coming to people who are extremely mentally ill and as such there are very few mentally healthy main characters

Also it is so far 4 very large books with the 5th one coming out soon so warning on incomplete series cause there will prolly be 10 of them

If you are going for a more fan fic esc vibe I recently finished red white and royal blue, it is an enemies to lovers between the son of the US president and the prince of England

The main characters are dumb, they are in thier idk early 20s or so, so it makes sense that they are dumb, but they are very stupid

It has it all honestly, Draco malfoy levels of obsession, banter, fake friends to real friends to oh shit he is hot, gay awakenings and dealing with family members who would prefer you stay closeted, very gay main characters who are fs fucking but the main character is too busy being a perfectionist to notice it has a happy ending too so that is nice

there is also a movie on prime about it but I heard it is pretty straight washed for a gay romance

I know this has been going around Tumblr but honestly Dracula is such a fun read thr beginning has a mix of horror and almost gay rom com if you loon at it right cause Dracula keeping up the pretense that there is house staff and speed cleaning and cooking as well as his lizard climbing and tucking Jonathan into bed were all delightful to me but also the terror of being trapped and controlled and isolated is mixed in

We then take an incredible hard turn and meet the suitors and Lucy and it is very cute but still we are dealing with Dracula, there is an actual honest to God Texas cow boy and I love him so much

Along those lines Frankenstein is very good if you are looking for a book that plays with humanity, what makes a monster, and playing god

If you want one that is Frankenstein but with lesbians and is super sick for a post Frankenstein read The Dark Decent of Elizabeth Frankenstein is very very good

If you are looking for a mystery, And Then There Were None is very good, it is your typical there are only 10 people on this island and suddenly people start dying, who is doing it

Agatha Christi is a very good mystery writer and if you want some of her detective stories, her detective Hercule Poirot is a very charming little Belgian man who has lots of personality and can respect women

As some may have noticed I have tried to be quiet about HC and his FS. Regardless of dms or questions. HC doesn't want her involved. There is some strong protective feelings around her. I wanted to respect that and took a step back.

I even admit I would purposely say vague or even misleading things, hoping only the person it was meant for would understand.

I know more than I have let on. However, there is a time and place.

I hope I can say what I need to say clearly.

I know Henry has read my stuff. I know there are a few readers he follows more close than others because he knows they're right and they resonate closely with him.

I had wanted to know why today he was on my mind.

I did a deep dive read.

Now is where I have to think on what and how to say what is needed while also respecting his need to keep her hidden.

HC and his FS have been decided before either were even born. We all come into life with a skeleton plan. Our purpose and who we will have along side us. You can research soul contracts. Soul families and so on. But we have free will too. We don't have to have them.

HC found out exactly who his fs was YEARS ago. That is rather rare and he should consider himself lucky. He was faced with two options. Wait or don't wait LOLOL. He chose to wait for her. The last woman he chose for himself was Tara. The others were work and business. Because he was waiting. He still is.

It just wasn't their time but he was granted a peak. Very lucky.

Since then spirit has been working to set the stage for their union. Yes I said they were options for eachother before they were even born but since that moment he realized spirit has been REALLY WORKING to help them along.

It's been patient. Dropping hints, signs and messages. Divine timing has been a big time player here all along.

Someone in particular recently DOES NOT want them to come into union. Ruin is their intention. Henry does sees that. He has made questionable choices lately LOL but he can see, believe it or not.

It's was your turn HC. The world has the ability to watch you and keep tabs. It was your turn. That's why, if you ever wondered. It's part of the reason why she has been guided to do what she does. It's your turn.

Other readers have also picked up on this. His fs is very psychic. Everyone has intuition. We need it to survive. But some are born with a natural knack for intuition.

Spirit has been dropping Easter eggs for her. Sending her on a treasure hunt. She has seen and felt the one who wishes her Ill intent. Not to scare her but as a warning but also for future use. Where I'm coming close to explaining. I find it somewhat funny since spirit actually used the one who wants their ruin to help their cause.

Every move this ruinous person made, spirit matched. You used a chess board as a reference once. It comes to mind. The difference is spirit has been working YEARS on this. It's ahead of the game.

His fs has a very academic mind. They like knowing the workings and mechanisms of everything. A treasure hunt was the best option for her. Best to ease her into it.

There is disbelief coloring her. She was finally shown the connection in full. It's going to be significantly harder to put a wedge when both parties now know. She knows. There's disbelief.

She will NEVER admit knowing. She won't tell anyone.

Everyone has free will. He or her could decide tomorrow to walk away from the other. It's a risk since she knows. He's waited awhile but I don't see it happening. She plans to wait and see for confirmation.

Hes at a stage in his life he needs to reevaluate everything. He's at an end and coming into a beginning.

Hes invited a disease into his life that has potential of crippling everything. Part of it has been his own choices that have landed him here.

Hes a big boy. He will figure it out. Time moves and he has no choice but to move with it.

The thing is Natalie, you've wanted his ruin. But you've now attached yourself to him professionally. He fails, you fail. Your reputations are also attached for now. Also...remember Amber Heard. This has potential of going that way and she's ruined. Yes she got him for a short time but she is the true loser now.

Henry is at a new beginning. He needs to evaluate EVERY ASPECT of his life and to have authentic people who want his greatest good around him. The thing of having people with mutual interests around you, you come second. He's been a victim of that. When it comes to the wire, and they have just a bit more push than you? You lose. Because they matter more.

He has great potential of coming back from this. It will be hard. I see potential of rebranding. Big box office movies and awards. But I also see him choosing to slow down in about ten years and being more behind the scenes.

His feelings have been tumultuous as of late. There's been highs and lows in a very short period.

Karma will continue to come after you in order for you to learn what it is trying to teach you. Spirit will keep circling to you. You don't want this to come back in a few years and hit harder. You already feel low. Do you think you want it to happen even worse?

You know next year is going to be special. Look forward to it. Keep your eye on the prize. Visualize the life you want. Visualization is a POWERFUL tool.

I have to start again with an addition to last week, because I forgot to mention it: we never really did find out who Laura is writing to, do we? This account was discovered among Doctor Hesselius's papers, and the Doctor has apparently was in contact with Laura at some point, but Doctor Hesselius is supposed to be German, and Laura says "your English miles", which would imply that she's writing to an English recipient. I'll keep an eye on this, I don't remember if we ever get any more hints.

A small linguistic note: "Mademoiselle Rheinfeldt" with the French honorific is interesting. Are the Rheinfeldts a French-speaking family? Or is it just a random quirk of Laura's multilingual upbringing? Or another convention entirely? I do know that there was a point when many of the royal families in continental Europe spoke French, but would that apply to the nobility as well? And even as late as the 19th century? I have no clue. Maybe it’s just Laura’s habit. It does seem like French would most likely be the language most often spoken in their household since it’s the language they all probably share, unless her father doesn’t speak French.

Another small linguistic note but this time probably just for me: I was always confused by the "lime trees" but I've just discovered that it actually just means linden trees, which makes much more sense.

Making myself a pre-game timeline for my muse! This will apply to any default interactions and will affect interactions as needed.

Note: this is not intended to be a full, direct summary of the novels/FS drama CD. this is just a timeline for my muse with key points in his life that directly impact my muse and may come up in threads.

Note 2: I have a lot more detail with the novels/drama CD because they are relatively unknown content in the western fandom, but again, these are not full summaries of all the events of either. due to them being more unknown, I wanted to give enough detail for people to get a feel for those parts of my muse)

Childhood timeline (based off his and Flynn's novel which I count as canon):

Flynn moves to the LQ

Befriends Flynn and gets his brothers to get along with Flynn

Yuri buys Flynn's sword back with all their accumulated savings and they share the sword until they grow up and Yuri has his own sword

Norein/Flynn's mother teaches the LQ to read/write

Knights raid the LQ. Yuri already hated the knights, but this is something he doesn't forget

Norein falls ill, so Yuri, Flynn and the other kids work odd jobs trying to raise money to get her medicine, but because of an illness breakout the prices keep increasing and they can't afford it

Yuri's foster mother, Jiri, attempts to steal medicine for Norein, where she's seen injured by Yuri and Flynn in the process of getting it. They realize she is the rumored "Dark Wings" who steals for the poor from the rich (between this and his teenage timeline, he had been trying to get her to teach him to do the same things she does, which she denied)

Norein refuses the medicine due to it being stolen and her knowing it was stolen (as she believed there was no way the kids could have actually made enough money to afford to buy it). She decided her morals meant more to her than taking the medicine, choosing to die instead. Yuri finds out about this when he's with Jiri and Flynn

Teenage timeline (based off his and Flynn's novel which I count as canon):

Raises the younger orphans with Flynn and Jiri, including with the help of the other teenagers, though most of them have moved out of the orphanage itself and live with others or alone.

Yuri works in the Public Quarter and gives part of his money to the orphanage, where he still lives

The fountain is given a core and the residents now use this water and not the waterfall's water. They are also "officially" going to be residents of the capital now

Eventually a noble wants the LQ's lands for herself and has a henchman noble (whose goal is to be on the council and he wants her backing) that Jareth works for do her dirty work. This results in him attempting to pay the residents of the LQ to leave. When they don't end up leaving, the nobleman attempts violent force to get them to leave, which Yuri ends up directly trying to help the other residents ward off. At this point Yuri is capable of using a real sword, while most of the residents are only able to wield wooden sticks/swords

Due to the direct violence not working, the woman makes a plot to poison the residents and kill them. Jareth is tricked into doing this by switching the fountain's core, which poisons all the drinking water. Yuri almost dies from this (as do all the residents, and some do die), but is saved by Jareth who realized what was really going on, was stabbed by the butler of the noblewoman, and forced himself back home to tell them the truth of what was happening. Jiri still has an antidote for poison in the house, asks Jareth to get it, and Jareth feeds the antidote to Yuri, Flynn and Jiri to save them just long enough to get more medicine. He asks them to use all of his money to buy medicine for all the residents and save everyone, which Yuri and Flynn do as soon as they can walk again

Several residents still end up dying, including an orphan child that Yuri lived with. This angers Yuri enough that he tries to go off to get revenge, but Jiri finds him and stops him. He waits outside for her to get back, as she takes his place in getting revenge, where the noblewoman ends up dying because her "tamed" monster ends up killing both her and the butler

Jiri brings Yuri and Flynn to the woman's grave the next day, where the woman's daughter is sobbing over her grave. Jiri teaches Yuri and Flynn that nothing is black and white and wants them to think for themselves

A month after these events, Jiri dies. Yuri is very shaken up by losing his foster mother

Yuri starts realizing there's nobody left to protect the LQ. She was their protector through and through, and they need someone to keep watching out for them

Eventually Yuri does come to a decision on what to do, which is to join the knights to protect the LQ and make their people smile. When he gets there to sign his name to join, he runs into Flynn, and Flynn insists they make a vow on Yuri's goals after he asks Yuri what his goals are

Teen to adult/knighthood timeline:

At some point after signing their names to become knights, Flynn moved away (if not before, though I don't recall the novel being clear about if Flynn moved away prior)

Due to it being unknown exactly when Yuri moved out of the orphanage, for my muse, he moved out not too long after Flynn left. Everyone he knew and grew up around was gone, and he was still very jaded about everything that happened

At this point the timeline is going into the FS drama CD. Yuri regularly gets into fights at this point, so between the novel and FS drama CD's timeline, he's gotten more reckless and impulsive (likely due to all the issues that occurred when he was a teenager in the novels)

Muse specific / partially canon (partially due to wonky timelines and overlapping context in various material): Yuri has not been called on to train as a knight yet at this point despite signing his name. For my muse, basically he's signed his name but has not taken any exams yet (and being dispatched for training comes after the exams in the CD)

(I'd also like to mention this is where the overlap gets extremely wonky and why, among other things, some people see FS as more of an AU. Yuri signed up to be a knight on the same day as Flynn, but they for some reason for at least another couple of years don't take the exams. Yuri still had his teen hair/clothing on when he signed up for the knights, as did Flynn. This indicates they signed up not all that long after Jiri died, but Yuri is very different in behavior and attitude by the time of the FS drama CD, which takes place before FS. The amount of change he and Flynn both went through as people between the end of the novel and the FS drama CD would not have happened in just a few months, thus indicating a time gap. This also means they signed up but did not actually bother taking the exams to get into training for what was likely a couple of years (especially if I'm basing off their physical appearances from the end of the novel to FS). Why would they sign up but not take the exams immediately is what I question, so my personal headcanon for my muse here is that he didn't feel quite ready for it and just wanted to sign up to take the exams at another time. Again, wonky, but I'm trying to match things up.

^ in relation to Yuri waiting so long to take the exams, my headcanon for my muse is that he was extremely depressed after all the deaths in the LQ and in his family, and then Flynn moving away on top of that. At this point he still had Hanks and the other little orphan kids that relied on and cared about him, but otherwise, he was in a very depressed state and not quite ready to take on the responsibility of being a knight. Eventually he started thinking about it again, seeing how the LQ was still treated like utter dirt

So Yuri starts thinking again about joining the knights and wants to go in for the exams. He talks to Hanks about it after Hanks has to drag him out of starting a fight with someone bullying an LQ resident, but Hanks doesn't believe he has it in him to be a knight. Yuri is insistent though because he genuinely wants to protect the LQ, and he also wants to prove to Hanks now that he can do it

When Yuri arrives for the exams, he meets Ushio who is all around a very kind, sweet guy. Ushio's exam number is close to Yuri's, which makes Ushio happy. Turns out Flynn showed up the same day for the exams (meaning that yes, he also put this off after signing up if you try to combine this CD with the end of the novel), and found the two of them talking. Ushio realized Flynn's number is close to theirs and that they'll be taking the exams basically together (Ushio ends up taking his alone and Flynn and Yuri were set to do theirs at the same time, so don't ask me how that shit works LOL)

At first Flynn is still pretty much the same with Yuri and they have brief lighthearted banter

Yuri is almost failed for interfering with Ushio's exam (he was protecting him from a monster, which was the exam but Yuri panicked and didn't realize that) which completely terrified him after he'd insisted to Hanks that he could do this. At this point his relationship with Flynn starts getting very rocky, with Flynn insisting it's for the best that he isn't here/a knight

^ my personal headcanon for this is that rumors about Yuri getting into frequent fights probably got back to Flynn after he'd moved away, and he started thinking Yuri wasn't fit to be a knight anymore. Obviously this is up to any Flynn muns to interpret how they please, but this is basically my descriptor for why Flynn's demeanor toward Yuri completely changed after he witnessed firsthand how impulsive and careless Yuri had gotten

Another knight prevents the guy who was going to fail Yuri from failing him (technically Yuri passed the exam by defeating a monster and proved himself, even if it wasn't his exam at that moment), and Flynn and Yuri have their training and then are shipped off to another town

Yuri's attitude and behavior is about what you see in the movie, though the drama CD featured him originally not having gotten along with Erwin and getting into frequent arguments with him

Yuri finds Repede, who immediately takes to him. Niren expresses how it's rare for Repede to take to people so he leaves Repede in Yuri's care

Personal headcanon about Repede is that Repede did have a previous owner with Lambert before they were in the knights, to fit in with the Repede sidequest in the game. Repede would have probably been an infant or so around that time based on his age in FS and how he's only about four by the end of the game

Yuri and Flynn witness Niren interacting with the people of the town in the actual movie, but I'm moving it to this point in the timeline for consistency.

Yuri almost quits the knights early, but the girls convince him to hold off

Yuri goes with Niren and Flynn to stop a bandit attack and helps the citizens (one of which is a former knight who deeply respects Niren). This cements his decision to stay longer

Yuri and Flynn take care of Repede for the first time together, who doesn't feel well (due to accidentally swallowing a button off Yuri's uniform, which he previously ripped a chunk of off)

First Strike (some things between the movie and CD itself conflict despite the CD being a supplement to the movie, so I'll be weeding some stuff out):

Previously, in the drama CD, Yuri hadn't actually gone on any official missions (something he complained about bc they weren't actually helping people). Due to FS opening with his "first" mission, I'll consider the bandit incident to have been an unofficial mission that Niren used to help Yuri

The following scene has Yuri and Flynn just rehashing being in the same room and Flynn asking why he's in the knights, so we're scrubbing that completely from this point in the timeline. Obviously Flynn knows why Yuri's in the knights (and to my understanding the movie was made at the same time as the game by different groups, so there was some inconsistency and the novel is favored for this conflict)

Yuri still doesn't really get along with Erwin, but at this point, muse-wise, tolerates him... but still gets riled up at his attitude

At this point Repede is under Yuri's watch, so that's a safely consistent follow up

Yuri gets into that bar fight and meets the guild members, so uh, if any Ravens ever feel like mentioning that scene in a thread, you've got my go ahead!

The attack on the town happens and Lambert dies. As far as my muse goes, this adds to the headcount of people he's lost

After this point, my muse has a slightly higher opinion of the guilds but wonders if it's simply because the man in charge of the guild he knew now was friends with Niren. He still considers guilds to generally seem thuggish

Speaks with Niren about following orders, which helps him work things out for himself in his head like Jiri had hoped he would

Niren decides to set out for a mission instead of waiting for reinforcements, where he dies

Yuri attends Niren's funeral

Yuri and Flynn kill Garista, and Flynn and Yurgis cover the situation up

Yuri leaves the knights

Pre-game/muse only:

Around this time Yuri would be about 18-19 years old

Yuri works odd jobs again in the LQ to sustain himself and his stay at the inn, as he has nowhere else to go

Yuri finds that he isn't sure what to do with himself anymore, determining that he doesn't have much of anything, both for himself and for goals. At this point Yuri is also completely alone - no family around him, no knights, and nobody who really needs him anymore

This leads to a severe depression and Yuri continues to make nothing of himself, seeing little to no value in himself

Yuri devolves back into getting into fights often to protect the LQ

This eventually leads him to committing smalltime crimes and repeatedly ending up in jail (as a side note, in the novel when the LQ became officially part of Zaphias, it was determined people who couldn't pay their taxes were jailed, which explains why in the game Yuri is literally fighting knights who are collecting taxes. Chances are they're trying to collect from people who can't afford it and he's trying to stop those citizens from being arrested, ultimately getting arrested himself to distract them from remembering about the taxes)

Though he stills sees Flynn from time to time when Flynn is available/around/off duty, there's strain between them due to Yuri's regular law breaking. When things are fine, things can be slightly awkward but not quite so strained. On rare occasions things are just fine and they can hang out normally. This can of course vary by any Flynn mun, but this is my generalized version for this timeline

By now Yuri is pretty much emotionally unavailable and has a neck deep terrible opinion of himself

Brief non pre-game things:

During the events of the game, it's meeting Karol and seeing how isolated and lonely he is and how helpless he is that starts getting Yuri to become emotionally available again. Meeting someone in basically the same place as him with similar problems helped, but being able to care for a kid again was also familiar enough territory that it brought back some of his old self. Meeting Karol was the beginning of Yuri coming back and growing from there during the game's story

Post game, Yuri lives in both Zaphias and Dahngrest. He will also be living partially in Aurnion in threads where he and Karol (and Judith) have set their base up there (the tenth anni skit covers some post game "what is everyone doing now" things, so this is partially inspired by that but also what I wanted to do anyway)
