I mean tbf, I’ll be walking and doing a LOT in Japan, so I don’t expect to lose a lot of progress but I’m going with the mentality of EAT WHAT I WANT DO WHAT I WANT so… yeah, THAT’s why I dieted and worked out afterall 🤣

So when I started I was at around 67kg and I’m now at 61kg! So not too bad for a couple of months, I can also feel my arms stronger and slightly bulkier which is nice, and my belly definitely feels less floppy too.

All in all this was great! Looking forward to continue when I come back, maybe with a different plan since its getting a bit stale now.

In any case I’m off to Japan in 2 days, I’ve been learning loads of Japanese and I can confidently say that 私は今もっと日本語を知ります！(⌒▽⌒)

I'm having some finale wine and I think I've got it. My final resolute head canon of Riverdale.

Keep in mind I have not watched the end of season 5 through the end and have absolutely no intention to, but I've seen and heard enough about *gestures vaguely* all of that to still stand by this.

Disclaimer: I do not believe this is what the writers intended whatsoever. This is all my imagination. I do however believe in this canon whole heartedly and its as true to me as whatever RAS's vision is to him. You choose who to trust.

Okay so first and foremost the entire series is written by Jughead. It's all his writings that are probably all sitting in a google docs draft folder.

I justify this due to the following:

He is the narrator

The entire series is obsessed with Betty Cooper for good or ill (I'll get to it)

Its all kind of sort of been alluded to that its all Jughead's writings anyway. At least in S1, again. I'll get to the why of that in a second.

He started writing season 1 in his junior year (so a year after the events of the S1). He read In Cold Blood (on his own, not for class, very important to him that you all know this) and was like "Hey my town had a murder and I have some trauma around it, so I should totes do this." And thus S1 is born.

This is why that season is (relatively) more grounded and far more realistic than the rest of the series because its based on a real true thing that happened and the real feelings and emotions of people involved. It has the least amount of exaggeration (but enough, because Jughead) and has the most coherent plot, which would make sense since Jughead isn't making anything up, he is recalling events.

This is also the only season that directly ties Jughead's narration and the plot to the book Jughead is writing on page, and thus tying them both together. Because again, its a thing that really happened.

So the characterizations, motivations, and actions of everyone in season 1 is the model of how and how these characters actually are and are a base for further exaggeration.

Seasons 2-4 are also based on true events but are exaggerations/interpretations of things that really happened, but are altered to make them more interesting to Jughead's readers (heh).

I don't want this post to be a novel so here is a brief listing of that I am thinking here for some of the main plots (but if you have a plot you want me to fit into this canon let me know):

The Black Hood: When Jughead showed Betty his first manuscript (S1) the positive constructive criticism she gave was that, "True crime is really popular right now, so this fits in with the zeitgeist." And Jughead ran with it. Fred also had his first heart attack at this time...we all know where I'm going with that so I'll just leave that there. RIP.

Making Hal the Black Hood: Hal leaves the family after the Polly debacle and finding some racy pics on Betty's computer (she sent them to Jug, she wasn't a camgirl) and decides to start his life over with a woman who is far more moral (and probably like 2 years older than Polly)

The Serpents/Class War with Hiram: Not a gang, just those under the boot of the rich that Hiram tries to eradicate through good ol fashioned gentrification. Archie and Veronica also start spending more time doing rich people shit and that drives a divide between the two main couples of the core four. But less about political plots and more about teenagers growing apart because of different interests

Season 3: Putting this all together because Jughead was having a hard time finding a plot here. So he focused on Alice's new weird young boyfriend who actually ended up taking off with Polly (leaving her twins), his newfound obsession with DnD (Betty was exhaustedly supportive of this) and Kevin's endless talk about the new megachurch he just joined. He and Betty also started watching a lot of horror films and Hitchcock at the time which leads us to...

Season 4: He and Betty go off to different schools but its because of college, not because Jug is the chosen one (again see why he is writing all of this himself). He meets a lot of pretentious people that challenge his relationship with Betty and he turns it into a mystery.

So now we have made it to 4.17. Ugh.

Okay so Jughead has written all of this, and reading everything back feels that Archie and Betty (who go to the same college now and are friends again after growing apart after he dated Veronica) have grown too close and Jug self destructs.

He self sabotages so hard and makes a story up in his head that Betty would be much happier with Archie who is doing perfectly mediocre at college while Jughead flunked out.

So he and Betty break up after a lot of frustrated fighting.

And he begins to write Betty differently. Wildly differently.

(You can't tell me this doesn't make more sense than whatever the hell happened in the show.)

Jughead dejected from his failure at school and his breakup Writes on and off for the next few years. His next main attempt is S5. His attempt at more realistic writing.

(Its also after Betty enters his life again, because at her core Betty is his muse)

He works through his fictional frustrations of Betty and Archie as a possible couple (They never dated. Archie is actually a aromantic pansexual who does not do commitment) and realized that he made it all up and they have nothing in common.

Jughead and Betty get back together at the end of "Season 5" but Betty tells him that writing about their real life is what tore them apart, so he needs to not use their relationship in his writing anymore.

So Jughead decided to get weird and wildly experimental with his writing. And because Jughead is not a particularly good writer S6 and S7 are born.

Betty, absolutely running out of positive things to say about his last few writing attempts tells him that maybe these exaggerated versions of their lives that bear no resemblance to the real world have run their course, and he should try something new.

So Jughead wraps up this now unrecognizable series of writings and moves onto something new.

With Betty diligently serving as his editor. She got distracted with her new job and left him unattended for those last few seasons and look what happened.

Also I realize that Archie/Veronica/Cheryl/Toni are absent in this so briefly

Archie: He always was in awe of Archie and slightly jealous of what he perceived he had over Jughead...this is why he is the quasi-hero and also why he tortures Arch and treats him like an idiot.

Veronica: I cannot stress this enough. He and Veronica have no relationship. She is his friend's girlfriend and his girlfriend's best friend. The only thing he really knows about her is she is rich and hot. So he makes that her core personality and slaps on whatever traits fit her best for whatever plot he is writing at the time.

(This is also why almost all the women Veronica, Tabitha, Jessica, and Toni all are at some time his love interest. Self instert fan fic Jug. We see you.)

Cheryl/Toni: He and Toni are friends and Cheryl is her girlfriend who endlessly terrifies him. That is the core of her characterization.

I already regret the fact that I am sharing this long-winded mess with the world...but I can't take it back now.

The timing of these series of events is so weird tbh, and nothing is a coincidence when it comes to her//I’m bored and ill so imma make a timeline off all the weird shit that’s been happening.

-leaves her kid at home to follow after max

-Japan max wins his second title she makes it all about her kisses him on camera when he’s clearly visibly uncomfortable. Pulls away from her multiple times.

-in Abu Dhabi acts like he brought her roses to the club when in fact they were on every table. Victoria says she’s got so many pics to share and Kelly makes sure to comment that she should send her some so everyone know they were all together, Victoria never posts any pictures from the last race.

-they have a move in party but everyone calls it’s maxs home/apartment even max himself only mentions himself when taking about how ‘he’ moved

-Kelly’s birthday, they seemed all loved up kissing photos and makes sure to show that max sent her flowers to the hotel room, when asked about this max says ‘it’s what you have to do’ making it sound like a chore.

-max is in MK for media and pre season filming.

-she flies to london to meet with Yasmin and posts a gift she got. Then doesn’t post anything else about london, starts posting about the earthquake tragedy. This raises eyebrows as she’s never been an activist before. We don’t know if her and max are with each while in london.

-max flies to Holland for the Heineken sponsor signing and then back to Monaco, she’s still in London according to Yasmin.

-Kelly posts her NY dump, no max in it.

-Valentine’s Day posts the same generic roses he gets her every year and makes sure his trophy is in view. Posts a pic of them, Yasmin exposes this for being old. This is the last post vic or Sophie comment on.

-the other big account maxv1stappen (does post Kelly) was quiet all through the break even when content was there but the moment Kelly posted something max related they reposed straight away and still do. Seems there’s some Kelly influence there whether it be someone in his teams that runs it or just a fan who loves Kelly.

Pretty sure I’ll have missed things out but these seem to be desperate acts of someone who’s not secure in their relationship but trynna prove they are. I think a breakup between them would be a slow gradually thing due to both of them living with him he probably feels a certain responsibility for them. I think mentally he’ll check out the relationship before he actually breaks up with her, and i can imagine it’s gonna be messy from her end. Things haven’t been right since new years with him and her and between Kelly and his family.

Time for the other thing I promised (and sorry it's a day late): An update on the Rick and Morty fanfic I'm writing! With bonus pic of the pretty space-themed binder it resides in. Also, from this post on, said fic will be referred to by its actual title.

Current page count: 80!!! (Which is so much longer than I expected this fic to get, but I am not complaining.) Status: Not done yet, but I'm entering the final stretch. I've given up on setting a goal date for when it's going to be finished, but I feel like I can now safely say SOON. Also, until the full fic is up on Ao3 & ff, you'll now be getting excerpts every Thursday!

Summary: Rick has a nasty cold... which he initially tries to pass off as an alien virus that can mimic any illness. Morty does his best to take care of him, and Rick (of course) makes things so, so much more difficult for both of them than they need to be. No one is surprised.

Meanwhile, Beth and Summer are out of the house, and Jerry is searching in the attic for the 90's anime VHS he's sure will help him figure out EXACTLY what to do (keep in mind he's the only one who still believes Rick's alien virus story). 😅

"That's more like it. Okay, Rick. Here you go." Morty sighed. He carefully filled the medicine's accompanying measuring cup to the top line and tried to hand it to Rick.

"I don't want it." Rick grumbled, waving it away.

"Seriously?! Why not?" Morty asked, exasperated.

"It looks gross. I'm too stuffed up to tell, but it probably smells gross, too. And I know it's gonna taste like shit. So no, I don't want it." Rick explained, stubbornly turning his head. Morty barely held back a scream.

"Are you kidding me?! I thought it was gonna be something about this stuff being inferior to anything you'd make, so you were like, insulted by it. But it's just that? Of course it's gonna taste bad. Doesn't all medicine? Just swallow it quick and get it over with." He held the cup in front of Rick, who shook his head and continued refusing to take it.

"Of course this would be the one thing in the whole damn universe you won't drink. Rick, come on! It's for your own good. Stop acting like a 4 year old and take it!" Morty argued, climbing onto the bed and shoving the small cup in front of Rick's face. Rick opened his mouth to argue further, which Morty took advantage of by quickly pouring the medicine in before the old man could react.

Furious, the second he'd swallowed it down, Rick began sputtering, "Ugh, that's even worse than I thought it would be! Cough! Cough! What the hell, Morty?! Not cool! You can't force strange liquids down people's throats like that!"

"You think I enjoyed any part of that?! And don't be so dramatic - alI I did was make you take some cold medicine. Also, there's no way that's the most disgusting thing you've ever swallowed." Morty pointed out.

"Well, if nothing else, I can't argue that part. Still, that shit is foul. Yuck." Rick complained, still looking disgusted. He grabbed his flask and took a swig to wash away the taste. Morty considered saying something about that not being a great idea, but quickly decided it was a losing battle he wasn't interested in.

Happy April Fool’s! Have you ever pranked your TC; if so, how did they react? I have not. I mean ill joke with them a tiny bit but never actual prank pranks. they r too scary and I am afraid what'll happen if I prank either of them lmao 💀

What is the earliest thing you can remember about your TC? damn I remember a tiny bit before the pandemic with П but no specific memories. but its crazy because I remember little before the pandemic. but for Б since I haven't known her as long I remember our first lesson and even down to what we worked on.

Do you like your TC’s subject? Do you consider yourself to be good at it? I love my tc's subjects. I mean... they both teach the same thing kind of. one is just orchestra conductor and one is private teacher. I love and am okay enough at classical music and the viola to want to continue it as a profession (right now at least and hopefully this will continue and I won't burn out).

How do you feel about your age gap? hmm well its a lot bigger than others. its funny because they are almost exactly the same age only separated by a few months. i'm always attracted to women older than me but idk. its not as weird with Б since I see her much more platonically (I think it will stay platonic🤞). idek with П.

Have you ever said anything to your TC that showed you favoured them? Have they said anything like that to you? if П doesn't know by now she is the stupidest person I've ever met. but I think she knows bc is very obvious I favor her and I think I've said to her face and written in cards n shit that she's one of the best teachers I've ever had. П also openly favors me in front of her classes with things she says and does (I could make a whole other post abt this). Б somehow knows every thought that goes through my head lmao so yeah. no fr tho I think she can see my admiration for her just through little things ive done around her/for her.

Have you ever noticed any small habits that they have? If so, what comes to mind first? П subtly sways back and forth when just sitting down and often fidgets with her hands/fingers, selves, buttons on clothes, zippers, etc. Б crosses her legs in a really specific way only when she's sitting on this tall stool she has in her front room. she also always wears her hair in the same way every day unless its a concert and even sometimes if its a concert she'll wear it like that.

What gift would you really like to be able to give them, regardless of if it’s realistic or not? I have this insatiable urge to get П a really nice neckless and get myself a similar one too. it would be really dainty and pretty and I have a few I have seen in mind. or get her some really nice perfume. but no I would seem like a creep especially with the perfume lmao I don't wanna turn into villanelle. idk what I would get Б, it would probably be something small and a very "its the thought that matters" gift bc she likes that stuff . or maybe some cool crystals or one of those little tied friendship bracelets if I had to pic something rn :))

Does your TC ever talk about what it was like when they were still a student? YESS!! they both do and I love hearing all their stories! they tell me about regular school teachers but especially music teachers of theirs and how they learned. they both grew up in 1980s Hungary so its just cool to hear about the classical music world and education then. Б has noticed I like hearing the stories and always tells me some at the end of lessons now!!

did a decent amount of alpaca processing today + then i got a DM from one of my suppliers offering me some 12-inch stuff (v good) just as i was beginning to think "i need to have a sort-out of all my alpaca and see what im working w/" so that was really good timing

taking my wedding dress in for alterations tmr and so nervous to leave it there lol

still feeling really really worried that one of us is gonna get covid + fuck up the wedding and it's not like there's any real way to know what the UK situation is bc all the (useful) monitoring has been dismantled. but honestly there's no point staring at all the (shit) data anyway bc there's nothing i can do about any of it. i think the lack of control i have over this last bit is actually the hardest bit so far, it's so baaadddd. if i have to get covid at least let it be after the wedding pleaseeee god
