I remember my old setting that he's called "phantom" because of his appearance. At first he didn't know what they meant and only thought about phantom mob. This setting is now canon btw. But his original design isn't based on the phantom guy from Phantom of The Opera. (I didn't even think about that when designing him). His cloak is based on vampire cloak and his facial scar/eyepatch is meant to distinguish him from ordinary illagers (design-wise).

I really like their minecraft ocs and when I saw that Clancy has a baby doll, it did make me draw some parallels to how Zach has a puppet friend. Though obviously the circumstances are different, i really wanted to draw the two. I hope you like it!!
