#TBT Mini me around 1976, I was either 4 or 5 , at the school traditional Brazilian annual event called “festa junina “ , at my school at the time ,in the big city of São Paulo .✨Most schools in Brazil ,have this extremely fun annual event that happened around winter ✨✨ Teens kids , and adults , dress Country style ,such as cowboy hats , boots country style dresses and make up , they pratique country dances routines ,with a lot of Brazilian country music , all to celebrates the Country culture in that huge Country , that has a large variety of costumes and styles ✨They even have these lovely colorful decorative country flags , huge fire pits and typical country foods which by the way I hope by now they have vegan options 🥰✨It is always exited for parents to dress their kids on these events , specially to watch their dancing routine ✨The outfit I am wearing on this photo I was hand made and well planned 😅❤️😊✨ I wThis particular day at this very fun event at schools , was very , was quite unforgettable ✨I was having the hardest time dealing with my parents divorce , and moving a lot ; ✨And on this day, despite of all the fun , music and many kids , I stared to cry hysterically , for feeling this horrible pain by seeing parents together , because I wished my parents were together ✨I was way too young to understand why my parents were no longer together and didn’t want see each other ✨As years passed by I understood it was for the best ✨However I was lucky that on that day , I had 2 very special teachers around who I will never forget ✨My teachers Candida and Solange on this day , gave me special attention , by talking and calming me down and I felt loved ✨Tbeir kindness will never be forgotten , and thanks to them I was able to make trough that day and even posed for this photo ✨❤️✨There is nothing like to have teachers who have the power to help kids going trough a hard time ; ✨I hope one day , all teachers around the world have better recognition 🌼❤️ #festajunina #oldphotos #vegansofig #vegansofnewjersey #lifestories #vegansofinstagram #vegana #vegansofnewyork #veganosdoinstagram #gratitude #memories #ilovemyteachers #veganosdoinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BwYy5hpn-56/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ls5pjah749p8

A dancer 💃🏻 and her teacher (and friend) 💖 As a child, I longed to do ballet like the other little girls, but it just wasn’t possible. Even if we’d found a dance class I could’ve managed, Tomboy Little Amy was very put off by all the pink that tended to be involved 😂! I never thought I’d take a dance class. I didn’t think I’d be able to, physically, or that I’d be brave enough! But here I am; achieving a dream!
