hey there. if you see art of a guy with boobs being sexy, drawn by a trans artist (yes, ALSO a guy with boobs), and immediately accuse them of fetishization, maybe stop to consider what it is about a guy with boobs being sexy that makes you so uncomfortable. And also, what fetish means.
cause the discomfort youre experiencing is most certainly NOT because of any harmful depiction of transness, from which the trans community surely needs to be protected: youre uncomfortable seeing normal everyday transness (you are transphobic)
trans people exist and boy a lot of us sure do like to be sexy, many of us have boobs, lots of us are fat, and if you are made uncomfortable by any of that then you need to unpack some stuff about yourself. also look up the definition of fetish, idiot.

shoutout to trans guys, shoutout to my fellow trans men, shoutout y'all who still like pink and who still collect dolls or still wear femme clothing, it's all about destroying the gender binary until it comes to us so here's my support to my fellow men

A great portion of this fandom ignoring or side lining Kevin's abuse will for real be the death of me.
I've always hated the trauma Olympics that this fandom seems to love engaging in, as if there is a reward for "Who Has Had it Worse."
Newsflash: Jean isn't the only one who got abused by Riko. Kevin suffered for a whole ass decade (potentially more) in the hands of the Moriyamas. Might not have been as physical (though the "I will love hurting you like I loved hurting Kevin" line should have proved otherwise to people) as Jean's, but emotional abuse and manipulation are still... you guessed it. Abuse.
The fandom also seems to pay more attention to Riko's abuse of Neil compared to Kevin's. This can, of course, be excused by the fact that Neil is the protagonist and it's his PoV we are reading, but whatever happened to reading comprehension and character analysis? Must we be so blinded by the narration that nothing else matters?
I've talked a lot about Kevin and how his life in the Nest affected him, so I won't go over the same things again, but I SWEAR TO GODS if I see one more person blaming Kevin for leaving the Nest, I'll riot. Yes, leaving Jean behind was an asshole thing to do (though one could argue that perhaps Kevin knew that Jean would refuse to come). But also, Kevin saw the chance to escape the hellhole and took it. Ever since when did this fandom start putting AFTG characters in such high 'moral' pedestals?
Since never is the answer. They only seem to do it with characters they don't bother understanding. Kevin, Aaron etc etc.

I cannot understand the logic of replacing a driver who even when he was ‘off the pace’ was still a grid place or two behind his teammate, who WON A RACE in a season dominated by redbull, who speaks italian and gets on with the team, who calls the team out on its bullshit strategies, who does (despite the interest saying otherwise) accept team orders when asked, who looks good in red, will do bullshit pr and media, who has great race craft, is brilliant at defending, who is fast. only to replace with him with a driver who also likes understeer and will never be second driver.

Holy fuck I wish it was easier to research chest binding and hrt without having to go through 15 pages of the negative side effects. I just scrolled through a whole website trying to find information on binding and it's not even telling me how to properly do it (I'm confident I know how to correctly do it but I just needed to answer one question) it's just giving me list after list of horrible side effects (said side effects are incredibly rare and definitely not likely to happen as long as you use proper methods)

Oh man, I sure do think that Tricolour is a fun and not fundamentally flawed mode in Splatoon!!!!
It's so fun to literally get into several mirror matches that waste time and don't contribute to clout in a row because GOD FORBID YOU END UP IN A POPULAR TEAM AND NOW YOU HAVE A FUCKING DISADVANTAGE AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
ITS SO FUN THAT THE DEFENDING TEAM CAN LITERALLY TARGET YOU AND NOT ALLOW YOU TO PLAY THE GAME YOU SPENT FULL PRICE ON! WHILE THE OTHER ENEMY TEAM GETS TO ACTUALLY LEAVE THEIR FUCKING BASE!!!!!
I SURE DO LOVE GOING UP AGAINST TEAMS FILLED WITH GOLDEN AEROSPRAYS AND HYDRAS WITH BOOYAH BOMBS BECAUSE TURF WAR IS SUCH A FAIR AND NOT LUCK DEPENDENT MODE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE SPLATOON GUYS!!!! I LOVE TURF WAR!!!!!

I hope Dave Filoni always has one wet sock forever
with a hole in it
I hope he has a little rock stuck in his shoe forever
I hope one of his shoes is smaller than the other one forever
I hope that he gets caught in a rain
and I hope the passing by car will splash him
I hope that he'd always sweat under his hat and it'll never go away
I hope that his shoelaces are always untied
I hope that he'll get hot under the blanket but cold without a blanket forever
I hope that his pillow is warm on both sides FOREVER
I hope that he'd have an itch he can't reach to scratch

♡ Pairing - Vash x Reader
♡ Word count - 0.8k
♡ Warnings - f!reader
♡ Description: A short drabble based on the November 2023 prompt list from @creativepromptsforwriting. Day 1: Crisp air.
Tumblr media
“What’s this one?”
                “A bluebell.”
                “Hm. And that one?”
“Bleeding hearts. I forget their real name, though.”
You reached out and ran a finger gently on the heart-shaped petals. “They’re lovely. All of them.”
Vash felt a smile spread on his face. He was having fun watching you discover flora. The wonder in your eyes, that spark of a human loving nature long lost to the stars. He just wished he remembered all the plant names. If you asked about those purple flowers over there, he’d have to make something up. He’d do it, though, just to keep your wonder going, to see your lips map out the names.
“Do they all smell the same?” You ask, leaning forward from your seat to sniff at the bluebells, then the bleeding hearts. “They smell the same to me.”
Vash nodded, stretching out on his stomach to feel the grass more fully, just like when he was a kid. Home had that comforting way about it. Still, he felt the prickle of Luida and Brad’s gaze on you two near the entryway. He could barely hear their voices over the din of the vents turning on to create the crisp air in the greendome.
“Vash,” Luida called, “could you come here a moment?”
He knew it was coming. “Yeah,” he called back. He got up, wiping his pants and shirt of the blades of grass clinging to them. He left you alone to wonder at the sight of flowers.
Brad gave him a look when he came near. “So, do we need to get your girlfriend her own room, or do you two plan on sharin’?”
Vash’s ears went bright red. “Huh?”
Luida slapped Brad’s shoulder and glared. “Not how to ask, Brad!” Brad only shrugged, and Luida sighed. “We were just wondering…well, you’ve never brought anyone Home before, and we just wanted to know…?”
He should’ve seen this coming too, but honestly, he hadn’t thought about it. All he was concerned about at the time was getting you out of the hellish sandstorm that had appeared while travelling. Home just happened to be the closest shelter. Luida and Brad must be starved of gossip if they’re asking him this. Clearing his throat and looking over his shoulder, Vash made sure you weren’t listening in. “We’re not dating,” he said quietly, “we’re just friends.”
Luida has that older sister instinct in her, though. With a glint in her eye, she said, “But you like her, don’t you?”
He reached up and scratched at his neck. How did it get so hot in here? He tried to dodge. “What does it matter?”
Brad ‘hmphed’ and crossed his arms. “So that’s a yes.”
Luida let out a tiny squeal. She may be getting older, but she managed a few hops. “Oh, I’m so happy for you Vash! It’s about time you brought someone Home!”
They were acting like parents. “Woah, didn’t you hear me? We’re not dating!”
“But you will be,” Brad predicted. “The way you two act? Only a matter of time.”
Sputtering, Vash shook his head and backed away. “The way we act?”
Brad held up a hand and ticked off his fingers. “In the last twenty-four hours, you two have rarely left each other’s side, danced together, fallen asleep on each other’s shoulders, and held hands.” His smile was smug. “Only a matter of time, kid.”
“Are you stalking me?” Vash asked, his voice going pitchy with embarrassment. “You guys are weird. I’m leaving.” He turned and headed back to where you were sitting.
Luida called out, “Dinner will be served in an hour!”
Vash waved a hand in acknowledgement and laid back down by your side. You glanced over to him, fiddling with some forget-me-nots hiding under the leaves. “What did they want?” You leaned in closer. “Why’re you all red?”
He sighed and shook his head. “Nothing. They’re…it’s nothing.”
Your brows rose, but you shrugged and went back to admiring the flowers. He allowed himself a few seconds to stare, to follow the line of your nose to the curve of your lips, then back to your eyes. Lovely, he thought. Just as lovely as the flowers. Vash turned over to his back and looked up at the sky through the glass dome. It was clear, as always. He wondered if he’d ever see real clouds. Perhaps one day, when Luida’s work was completed.
Then, he felt your head on his stomach and looked down. You settled yourself on your back, then turned to look at him and gave him a dazzling smile. His stomach turned into crickets hopping all over his insides. All he could do was smile back, and start playing with your hair.
Only a matter of time, Brad’s words echoed in Vash’s head. Deep down, he only hoped he was right.

it doesn't matter how eloquent or respectful we are. it doesn't matter how many sources we use, how much evidence we have, how many eyewitness accounts there are, what we feel and why we feel it.
as a jewish person online, i have never experienced so much hate as i have in the last month. i have never seen so many lies, i have never seen so much propaganda, i have never seen so much two faced double speak argumentation. i have been branded as a "bad jew" because i believe that there is a land that i can call home. i have been blocked by people when i would ask for sources for their accusations, i have been called a genocide supporter, i have been told i have blood on my hands.
so now i know.
i could die.
and it would be celebrated.
i can be killed or raped, or both.
and it will be called a lie.
i am a pacifist, i am a tree hugger, i am queer, i am a believer in the ultimate good in the world.
there are people who are all those things too, who accept everyone and listen to everyone's stories and histories. all are welcome*.
*except for jews, unless youre a "good jew", who doesnt have a home nor a right to one.
