8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in?

I've tried to do B'Elanna pieces a couple of times but I wasn't happy with the likeness/ didn't know how to render them so they have been abandoned 🪦 they were from 2022 though so maybe I have improved enough to give it another go?? Here's the cleaned up sketch of one of them:

18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken?

I grip pencils, oil pastels, etc way too hard so I've definitely worn down some supplies for art class before their time

On that note I also did not change the nib on my old tablet's pen when I should have and scratched the screen pretty bad 🤡 Luckily it still worked perfectly fine so I was able to gift it to someone. As long as there's no light shining on the screen it won't block their view too bad but it bothered me enough that I replaced it

Saw this prompt for incorrect OC quotes and couldn't resist with a bunch of my Breach goobers. Some of them would absolutely say these things word for word in canon if I gave them half the chance to, though. XD

They're in order of when they showed up in person - Qīng, Ghost, Red, Marisol, Shio, Cam, Daruk, Tawoos, and Alondra - as well as some important honorable mentions who have only been mentioned or gotten dialogue - Star, Blake, and Creation.

Star's design is a slight spoiler, I suppose, but it doesn't reveal if they're human or impostor, so it's all good. Creation's "design" also isn't a spoiler at all, because They can look however They want, LOL. As for Shio...some of you who have seen the body horror I've done of them may be wondering why they look so normal here, but I promise there are Reasons. :3c

you make it sound like youre drowning in asks that suck or something. if majority of ppl aren't getting it it's because it's either; not the same askers, new people, people who aren't going to read thru 70 something asks, ppl who saw a reblog and sent an ask and didn't go to og post to read your tags to get hints, or just generally ppl not understanding it

holding up asks and saying 'i dont want ones like this' and then not explaining why is just mean. 'nobody is learning' are you explaining it clearly, or are you just vaguely hinting and then getting mad when people don't get it?

and like. when you hold up ppls asks/show them off like 'this is wrong', what about that would make those anons want to come back? they see that and think 'well i fucked up and my ask i sent genuinely is not what the blog runner wants/I don't want my ask screenshotted to be picked apart or laughed at again, so i just wont send a new one', which leads to the kind of ppl who are observant but don't want to send you asks - because theyre afraid of getting it 'wrong', and having a screenshot made of them on a public post about how stupid/wrong they are

I LOVE going everywhere by bike. Don't need to wait for a bus. Don't need to cram myself into a bus with (urgh) people. Or even worse, what feels like every single student in town. I still get home in about the same amount of time. I'm so so flexible including with places. Like yeah sure, let's go there! I don't care if the next bus station is far away. Doesn't matter to me.

Stayed out late with friends recently. Two of em had to get their family to come pick them up because that's too far to walk and it was too late for buses. A different friend lives like 30 minutes away but always walks and their way goes through a small park where literally no one is at with few lanterns so it's pitch black and I could literally just walk them home and then take the bike which is faster and has its own light and feels and probably is safer than walking those dark ass streets at night alone.

Like. I can just do all that. And yeah, sometimes when I'm not doing too well I feel like collapsing afterwards and yeah, maybe my fingers feel like falling off a lot at this time of year but that's like. SO worth it. I have no idea how people can live and NOT go everywhere by bike. Like if it's more than 20-30 minutes maybe but even with hills.... I fucking love my bike.

Be prepared for a fair amount of Buffy analysis since I'm rewatching (I'll tag this 'btvs thoughts' if anyone wants to blacklist) and it's simply that few other Medias have ever had such a grip on my brain and to me is Most Analysable Series of all time. I have so many thoughts about it, so many intense mixed feelings about it, and for all its flaws (which honestly make it MORE worth thinking about imo. It's like a toxic relationship lol the highs are so high and the lows are so low) I just think there's nothing else like it. Even other whedon shows, firefly is good and I love it but not nearly as much, which tbh just proves to me that Joss Demon wasn't really the sole driving force behind Buffy's unmatched brilliance although obviously he was a major factor. anyway.
