adrien never went to public school / adrienette have never met AU where Ladynoir are dating but Marinette has beef with Adrien Agreste™ on twitter, spurred by her interest in the fashion industry and her friendship with Mylene. ads are all over the place of Adrien promoting products like air in a bottle and NFTs and just generally so many products that are extremely poor taste/bad for the environment. Marinette tweets about beauty standards in the industry and all the shit Gabriel brand does to the environment and how Adrien Agreste perfectly encapsulates it all.

Adrien, of course, never responds to any of her tweets. her tweets are just white noise in the background. she is nowhere near on his level. one day Marinette tweets out something akin to "if I saw Adrien Agreste irl i'd punch him in the face" and her twitter gets banned for Threats of Violence, Alya draws attention to the injustice of it via the Ladyblog and suddenly "I want to punch Adrien Agreste in the face [gets banned]" becomes a bit of a meme. NOW people know who Marinette is and are listening to what she's saying (on her new account or whatever). Chat Noir also tweets that he wants to punch Adrien in the face

A hashtag trends. Marinette caves and starts tweeting about the scandals of the industry on her Ladybug twitter too. Adrien's twitter and instagram comments are flooded with both threats to punch him but also just generally critical comments like "nice pic and all but are you not going to address the sweatshop allegations?". Adrien still does not address it. At most he turns comments off. Marinette is gnawing at the wood of her desk.

Then a Ladybug and Chat Noir identity reveal happens.

Marinette is stunned. Absolutely mouth agape. Cannot form words. Chat Noi— NO, ADRIEN— ADRIEN FUCKING AGRESTE looks at her and is like "oh ha :) .... Marinette Dupain-Cheng, right? You're the girl who wanted to punch me hahaha"

after recovering from her world being shattered, she's like...... "hahaha...... um............... yeah...... uh..... so you... I dont mean to dog on people, but "there is something to be said [for/about x]" is a turn of phrase, an idiom. it used to indicate that the subject (the [x]) has points or advantages worth taking into consideration. some people might not have heard it before, so maybe it will help someone.

Church wedding DEFINITELY A CHURCH WEDDING. I think that it'll be intimate with just a few guests. Like knit-tight friends and families. And definitely Johnny is his best man, he has to be! Mark's vows are so poetic and long AND he'll cry halfway when reading the vows. He won't be crying when you're walking down the aisle but the moment he's telling you his vows, his voice becomes shaky and tears will fall!! Also would smile nonstop, looking at you, and telling you that you look so beautiful!! He couldn't believe he's marrying you.

A Garden wedding! He'll make sure that you two will have a wedding during spring or summer where the weather is sunny and the flowers are blooming!! It'll be an intimate wedding too and I feel like he doesn't have a best man (he loves Dreamies equally.) He'll be the type to cry \during the first look, seeing how beautiful you are in your wedding gown. He'll be surprised, as if you took his breathe away. But I feel like there's still a touch of the chinese tradition in his wedding, so I think it's a bit mix-cultural wedding too.

Oh it's a simple indoor wedding, but the designs are just extravagant because you know, he still wants what you want, and he's just there going with the flow with the wedding planning. Jaemin as his best man, end of debate. Probably has a color motif for your wedding AND the prenup wedding shoot was something else. It looks like straight out of a magazine and it's displayed outside the venue halls. You two are hot and so in love. Probably won't cry, would let out a laugh because its YOU who's crying in your wedding with him. (I mean who doesn't that's Lee Jeno WTF.) But would be the most comforting groom ever!!

HAECHAN WILL BE HAVING A BEACH WEDDING. It should be a beach wedding!!! His tan skin perfectly kissed by the sun. It'll be a non-traditional wedding that's exclusive too! His wedding would be fun but it gets dramatic when it's time for the vows because Haechan started crying before he could even talk! You two were a bunch of crybabies during the exchange of vows. Extravagant, and grand wedding. Imagine Hyun Bin and Son Yejin's wedding, I feel like that's what Jaemin's wedding is. But despite the grand wedding, there's only a few guests, so its very exclusive too. The wedding prenup shoot was also breath-taking. When you walked onto the aisle, Jaemin would be in daze, mouthing "Wow" when he sees you even though you're covered in veil. He'll be smiling widely that the NCT members are teasing him for looking like a love fool. When you reached the aisle, he'll whisper "I love you." to you.

Just like Jaemin, Chenle will have an extravagant and grand wedding too. It's just going to be huge wedding that's going to be the talk of the town, for the sole purpose that his parents invited A LOT OF PEOPLE (imagine the wedding in Crazy Rich Asians.) But what matters is that he's marrying you. There won't be a lot of crying because you two would constantly tease other, especially during the vows! I think people have been accustomed to couples being in that honeymoon phase when they’re shown onscreen together. We ALWAYS see that with newly-established couples in pretty much any type of media… But that’s not Chaggie.

Charlie and Vaggie have been together for years. Their honeymoon phase has long past. They’re not doing outlandish displays of affection. They’re just, comfortable. Doesn’t mean they love each other any less, just that those sappy moments aren’t as common anymore

Yes! also the way a lot of people are surprised that charlie and vaggie aren't only best friends is such a good example of the double standards wlw ships get. thinking they aren't dating is understandable. Overlooking that Vaggie and Charlie were meant to at least be shipped together is INSANE.

If i never knew they were dating already, i and so many other sapphic ship lovers would be eyeing tf out of Vaggie and Charlie's relationship. Lookit some of the things that happened/are established before the "she's my girlfriend" line in ep 5

- the newcaster lady made a homophobic comment towards Charlie, saying she "doesn't touch the gays" when Charlie tried to give her a handshake

- just all the times Vaggie would soften up as soon as she sees Charlie smiling or being her dorky self despite being previously upset/angry

- Vaggie's whole friggin verse in Whatever It Takes is very obviously meant to be romantic

- Charlie being worried about Angel Dust while Vaggie gives her the most "i love you and im sad that you're upset but i love that you're upset over something like this because it shows how amazing of a person you are" look at Charlie as she tucks her hair behind her ear

- Angel: I think this belongs to you *hands Charlie over to Vaggie*

- just all the casual touches they do that would totally be read as shipping fuel AT LEAST if it happened between a male/female duo or two men

- the fact Vaggie woke up?? Looking beside her to find Charlie?? To show that they sleep in the same bed?????

- Vaggie offering her hand unprompted when Charlie was having a stressful phone call with her dad and Charlie readily accepting it

And I'm sure there are people who'd go "But it's always shown from Vaggie's end! It looks so one-sided!" So? Aren't there tons of ships out there that seem one-sided but yall are perfectly fine shipping? And it's harder to see Charlie's love for Vaggie because Charlie at her core is a very loving and affectionate person. Of course it's gonna be more obvious for Vaggie since she's so prickly towards anyone else.

If all these things still happened without any of us knowing that they were actually girlfriends, we'd have a certain section of the fandom shipping it hoping they DO become canon while others would be claiming we'd be ruining a perfectly good platonic friendship by making it gay. They'd say we're reading too much into things.

But they ARE a couple. we aren't reading too much into things because it was meant to be read as romantic. And yet we're still the delusional ones for thinking an already established sapphic couple is "cute and interesting" because now they're claiming they simply dont have chemistry. It's frustrating.

Of course I have my criticisms too. The show could portray more of how Vaggie is more special to Charlie than anyone else, have them flirting more overtly or something. But any argument that they're "so boring i thought it was het" is invalid to me because i damn well know if at least one them was a dude a lot of them would be saying otherwise.

we are talking about a 16 year old, somebody with a whole life ahead of them. nex had so much to live for and now their blood is on your hands and i hope that you feel guilty. i don't even think enraged is the word i am looking for in this situation, it's a feeling far beyond rage.

as a society we truly need to do better because jfc. i have to live my life in fear everyday, so do my friends, the people i love, and thousands of others - we aren't scary, we are scared.

adding onto this post because i still have so much to say: nex was no different from you and i, they took interest in the same things we do. nex liked the walking dead, minecraft, and their cat, zeus. but now nex won't be able to partake in the things they love because of how f'ed up society is. the fact that america is perfectly fine with murdering innocent people on a daily basis truly tells you all you need to know. we are fighting a war we will never win because people refuse to accept the fact that trans folk just want to live their lives, almost like everybody else!!

i read in a reblog that nex was twospirit and i just wanted to add that, sorry if it seemed as if i was trying to leave that out, i wasn't aware. that doesn't change anything though and my point still stands.

STOP OVER COMPLICATING THE VOID.

If you’re reading this I’m sure you’ve read MANY posts like this before. You probably already know whatever ‘methods’ there are to enter the void state, how it feels to enter it and have also probably read the many success stories posted by people who have successfully entered the void state and are living their dream life right now.

But is all of this really helping you?

If you’re familiar with all of what I just said, then perhaps you’ve come across the term ‘over-consuming’ information about the void. As a beginner, when I first came across this term I was insanely confused. Isn’t the whole point of this community to share information about the void state? If so, then how do you ‘over-consume’ information? Isn’t learning more about the void state a good thing?

These questions plagued me during my journey and I was worried whether I was over-consuming information about the void or not.

Firstly,

I want to say that learning more about the void is a GOOD THING!

It is TOTALLY OKAY to do your own research and try to find out more about the void state to have a better understanding of it. When you do your own research about the void state, that doesn’t mean that you’re ‘over-consuming’ information about it. When you do your own research then you can come to conclusions about the void yourself rather than blindly following whatever a post tells you. You can form your own connections and opinions about the void, and can even satisfy your logical brain to totally believe that the void state is REAL.

The actual PROBLEM arises when you come across posts that can totally change your perspective on the void in a negative way. How I understand it is, ‘over-consuming’ information about the void makes you develop doubts that can make you feel unmotivated and negative. It makes you think that you need to do much more than you actually need to enter the void. It makes you rely on different ‘methods’ to enter simply a state of pure consciousness.

It makes you think, “okay if I do this meditation and affirm a million times and eat this chili pepper while reciting a 10 page poem about entering the void, and do this every night and every morning then I’ll enter the void!” (A bit of an extreme example but you get it) This type of thinking is going to make you end up in the totally wrong direction.

When you think of entering the void like that, then it limits you. It limits you into thinking that without doing all of your fancy methods you have no chance of entering the void, which is COMPLETELY FALSE. Yes, you can enter the void without any method. Yes, you can enter the void without using subliminals. Yes, you can enter the void without meditations, or frequencies or brown noise etc etc.

I’m not telling you to not put effort AT ALL. It’s perfectly fine to want to do meditations or use subliminals etc etc to get yourself ready to enter the void state. It only becomes a problem when you start believing that doing your ‘method’ is the ONLY WAY you can enter the void. When you start believing that you can’t enter the void unless you do a specific thing, then THAT is a problem.

RECOGNIZE YOUR POWER. Stop limiting yourself and relying on methods and other things to enter the void. If affirmations make you feel more motivated then use them! If you believe in subliminals then use them as well! If you like using meditation to ease yourself into the void then do meditation! Just don’t slip into the belief of relying on these things to enter the void. You are whole without them, you are just as powerful without them.

being in a relationship with baek dohwa is anything but easy. if its not his endless teasing, its the jealous fangirls. if its not them, then its the constant questioning from others about your relationship

to put it simply, it was hard work

but then, nothing worthwhile was ever simple and straightforward, and there was never a day where you didnt feel loved and appreciated by dohwa, so it worked out perfectly fine. if you believed in soulmates, then you wholeheartedly thought that baek dohwa was yours, and you were his.

the two of you met through sooae, as she was a mutual friend between you both. she had introduced you two and all of you, including eunhyeok, had started hanging out more often

however, sooae started to 'conveniently' bail on days where the four of you had planned to go out, and began to drag eunhyeok with her, leaving dohwa and you alone. during these times, the two of you began to spend more time with each other, resulting in a stronger 'friendship' between you and him. you two quickly became the other's best friend, and could always be seen next to each other

however, as expected, there was backlash to your friendship with dohwa. almost daily, you had random girls coming up to the two of you and bothering you and him, always causing some sense of awkwardness even after they had left. the fact that you may have started crushing on your best friend didnt help either, jealousy always brewing inside you whenever some other girl took his attention away. it wasnt ideal to like someone who only saw you as their best friend, but it couldnt be helped. practically nobody was immune to his 'charm'

unknown to you, on the other hand, was that dohwa had been feeling the same as you had been. keeping his own feelings under wraps was difficult, even for someone like him. every hug, head pat .. any form of affection that the two of you shared had his head spinning and stomach flipping. also, whenever you interacted with a guy that wasnt him, especially someone like eunhyeok, all dohwa felt was a wave of jealousy. dohwa had never truly felt like this for anyone before, and he had absolutely no idea what to do about it. confessing was nearly out of the question. sure, he received almost a dozen a day and he knew how to kindly shut people down, but he didnt know how to actually do it himself

you two were completely oblivious to the other, and it drove sooae and eunhyeok insane. in the end, eunhyeok managed to convince dohwa to "grow some fucking balls and confess", suggesting that he slip you a note during class before his confession

it was the last period of the day - mathematics. you could barely keep your eyes open and your head laid against your desk. closing your heavy eyelids, you were about to fall asleep when you felt a scrunched up piece of paper hit the side of your head. groaning, you sat up and turned to your right, glaring at dohwa, who had thrown the note at you. taking the paper in your hands, you unfolded the note and read its contents,

'meet me by the gate after school'

was all it read. you turned to face dohwa with a confused expression on your face, but he was already facing the teacher again, seeming to be unaware of your stare. sighing , you put the paper into your skirt pocket and waited for the class to end

half an hour later, you walked out of your class and down towards the shoe lockers, changing out of your slippers into your outdoor shoes, and made your way to where dohwa had asked you to meet him. dohwa was stood next to the school gate, phone in hand. as you approached him, you noticed that his facial expression was different from its normal relaxed state - he looked nervous. making your way to his side, you prodded his shoulder, eliciting a small jump from the male before he realised that it was you

"well, im here. did you need something?" you asked your best friend, slightly curious as to why he wanted to see you here instead of the two of you walking home as per usual. "yeah, i kinda wanted to tell you something.." he trailed off, shoving his now turned-off phone in his pocket before averting his gaze from your face. "for the past few months, i guess that .. uh", he hid his reddened face in his hand, "well, i like you. a lot, and not in a friend way" dohwa finished, now reduced to a embarrassed and blushing state. your face mimicked his own, cheeks flushed and the tips of your ears tinted a bright red. wrapping your arms around his torso, you hid your face in his chest, muttering out your own confession. dohwa smiled at your words, leaning down to press a kiss on the crown of your head, holding your body in his arms

dohwa as a boyfriend is quite similar to how he was as a best friend; nothing much changed about him. except now, he was much more affectionate and very open about it

you could be talking with your friends during breaks between classes and you would feel arms snaking around your waist, and dohwas face in your neck, pressing gentle kisses down your shoulder. your friends would greet him and just continue the conversation, already used to his affection towards you

even the teachers eventually found out, and would coo whenever they saw the two of you together, even nudging each other when they saw dohwa carrying your bag or bringing you a bouquet of flowers at the beginning of the day during independent study. all of your shared teachers had secretly bet on the possibility of the two of you dating, and were some of your biggest supporters not that they were allowed to mention anything though..

thankfully, your parents also approved of your relationship with dohwa, already knowing him very well from all the times that he would stay over your place. they both thought that dohwa treated you well, and even your father treated him like a son. if you have siblings, it doesnt matter if theyre older or younger, dohwa would ensure to spend time with them and maintain a positive relationship with the entirety of your family

arguments between the two of you were extremely rare, as you both understood each other well. but if they did occur, apologies followed soon after and it was almost a rule that you wouldnt go to bed angry with each other, always finding a resolution to whatever had happened. the following morning, dohwa would always buy you breakfast from your favourite bakery and give you an item off of your wishlist as a further apology from the argument, especially if he had been the one in the wrong

your relationship with dohwa was next to perfect, with all of your friends using you two as the 'perfect relationship mould' for their future partners. there was balance in the relationship and you ensured to always have enough time for each other if either one of you were out with your friends for the day. what was the most important thing, however, was that he loved you and you loved him, something that couldnt ever be changed.
