So depending on what doctor, every doctor has a different experience with physical touch.

We see doctors like 9,10, & 13 being more open to it but never really seeking it out and then on the opposite scale 11 & 12 especially 12 are really awkward to physical affection and will accept it in important times but otherwise avoid it.

If I had to say which is most okay with physical touch it’d be ten.

So in a clip of wild blue yonder we see the doctor kissing donna’s hand to comfort her, which is a huge step and I’ve never seen him act that way towards anyone before.

Not only that but 14 also has said multiple time that he loves people, which is so incredibly crazy considering he couldn’t even tell rose or river that he loved them because he knew it’d be even more heartbreaking if he did say it.

14 is a lover, not a fighter. He has this like emotional weight to him that everyone could see from just one episode. And I love watching it because it something so new. (And also not?)

I understand that all the doctors have been emotional at times and we’ve seen them all go through different emotions but the way 14 carries this greif, anger, sadness, joy all in one is so amazing and I really applaud David for bringing that out.

Divinity lams AU?

Alex is some divine, etheral being and John is just a pathetic and lost fallen angel who swears his devotion to this 'otherworldly being' for the privilege of following him around and being with him for eternity because it gives him a purpose. And at first, Alex just sees him as this sad soul whos's lost and doesnt know what to do and genuinely takes pity on him; but eventually it goes from a 'worshiped and worshiper' relationship to a relationship in which Alex see's him as an equal despite being nothing but.

And even before this, John had been searching for guidance through other people because he never fully trusted his instincts and yet this had only led him to be distrusting because the very reason he had 'fallen' was because he had followed anothers lead. In turn, he turned to etheral 'gods' who he knows cant do him wrong because they'll always view themselves as above him, and with pledging his devotion, they cant turn on him because he will forever be their faithful subject.

Unfortunately for John his devotion borders more on obsession. He loves looking up to see someone so majestic staring back down at him with such a soft smile in contrast to piercing eyes and to know Alex would be looking at him makes his heart flutter and insides melt and skin on In fire(figuratively..) and makes him just want to cut off his wings and give them to Alex as a sign of his true adoration he holds for him. And obviously this concerns Alex. I mean, his poor devotee is willing to do anything for him but theres a line, right? Alex still cares for him of course, what kind of being would he be if he allowed someone to sacrifice their own peace for him?

Cue emotional outburst number one! John would be rambling softly about how if he had the strength he would just rip out his wings and alex has to lean down and gently rest his palm on John's cheek to tell him not to ruin his beautiful wings and that being with him is devotion enough for him and that physical pain in his name would only cause harm. And then tears, of course, in natural angst fashion.

Oh, and John has an immense fear of corrupting Alex the entire time due to the fact hes a 'sinner' (by his own standards) and being in the presence of such divinity as a 'corrupted being' puts Alex at risk to fall from his stance of power. But even despite his fear he can't leave not only due to this eternal soul-binding agreement, but because being in his presence makes him feel alive and as though he can feel love again even after he had failed in doing so for so many years. But in the end Alex doesnt see himself as higher or with more power but as an equal.

John would have 'given up' his ability to feel love for another in order to be fully devoted to Alex, and yet he was convinced he didnt have it in the first place so he decided he wouldnt be giving it up if he never had it. But in turn he discovered that he did have the ability to love, but it had to be discovered through giving up the ability to love anyone other than Alex, and in a way hes happier with that.

But even so, John doesnt think hes worthy enough to be so close to someone so much better than he is, and he does view it as a privilege to be there until Alex tells him to stand up in which he physically has to look down at alex(he would stand at other points, of course, but he would never physically look down. If alex would speak to him he would physically attempt to lower his height to keep Alex above him by his own personal will.) But that is the point where he would cup johns face and then tell him that he's wonderful and the most faithful devotee hes had the 'honor' of being with and then tears. so many tears. so many pent up tears form years john has been telling himself that he cant feel love and to even be in the vicinity of Alex is a privilege that he doesnt deserve just to be told to his face that this divine being loves him and appreciates everything hes done and he doesnt want John to be hurt for him.

As much as I love Raincode it's just. So rushed. I really wish they'd taken more time on it, to really make it shine. Because. With what we have I can't really recommend it to anybody except my friends who have to listen to me rave about it anyways

Game-play wise, Raincode reminds me of Danganronpa, Ace Attorney, and Persona 5 and I think the Raincode in my head incorporates stuff from those games. Like for example, imagine if:

We get a few days in-game that pass without us immediately tackling a mystery. Like how Persona 5 has a ton of time separating each palace, you get time to explore Kanai Ward and really get to know it.

While we're not working on the story-mysteries, we can pass the time by hanging out with our fellow detectives and Kurumi- possibly Makoto but maybe not. Or we can hang out with Shinigami!! Similar to freetime events and confidants.

We get more quests that aren't just "go talk to this person and then this person". Maybe we get little mysteries to solve. We could expand on the red rain!! On that wizard!! Why did they include that and then never do anything with it??? Maybe in the beginning we can do simpler cases, like finding lost pets and such! Like how Yakou said his job usually involves.

Can we get more gambling in Raincode actually. I spent a lot of time in DRV3's slots. It's a fun way to pass the time. Maybe we could even pay Halara back their shien

Have the other detectives there for the other cases. Chapter 4 did a good job having everyone involved, but the rest SUCKED ASS at that. In the games I listed above, we always have the remaining students/court members/Phantom thieves. And ofc not everybody is involved each time but it's more than what Raincode gives us (Yuma, helper detective, Peacekeeper, and the suspects + victim)

I just. Man I wanna replay it but it has no replay value for me... I replay Danganronpa every so often because there's so much to do and it's not just the same things over and over again.

Hatsuka Suzushiro

She is my de facto favorite simply because she is a femboy that can be read as a trans girl. I discovered Call of the Night when reading a bunch of vampire yuri, which was triggered by me reading Shuzo Oshimi's Happiness, where I read the vampire's as a trans allegory (and knowing Oshimi, they probably actually were trans allegories). Since reading Happiness I've just sorta seen vampires as trans, even when the media doesn't necessarily fit that interpretation, and going into Call of the Night to learn they just straight up had a character like this I was just like. God that's so genber.

I also just really love her character design. Hatsuka's normal outfit is dumb as hell but when she gets scenes that focus on her she's just really fun imo. She has this really soft approach to things with Ko, she feels very subdued and wanting to relax, while she also treats all her minions like she's some kind of fucked up dom.

Sadly, she doesn't get a ton of time in the manga, and her past is never explored like the main characters, but that might honestly work to her advantage, less time to potentially become offensive and all that.

Nazuna Nanakusa

Obvi the main characters of a manga are going to have the most characterization. I kinda view Nazuna and Ko as opposite sides of the same autism coin. Ko struggles with socializing, where as Nazuna is a bit more of a natural at it, but both of them have a lot of the same attributes of sorrow and boredom and not really understanding love or emotions. I relate to Nazuna a lot more than Ko simply because I was a fucking party girl, and socializing is actually pretty easy for me. She's just fairly unique, she's cool yet dorky, intelligent yet an idiot. For a series that is relatively cartoony, she feels like a real person even in her cartoon-ness.

She also just has the most ridiculously appealing character design. That fucking hair, those eyes, she has an incredibly recognizable face. You can't mistake her for someone else. She wears that oversized jacket like a fucking cape, that's so genber.......

Also, as the manga goes on and it explores her history and her concerns and her issues with boredom (and ultimately depression) she just becomes a very interesting character. Learning that she essentially had a lesbian lover is shocking, but honestly so lovely. She becomes such a complicated and sad character that you just want to see her win at the end.

She's got this weird otaku vibe, which is sorta a trope in anime these days, "weird otaku girl that's also cute and popular" and I, like the sucker I am, eat that shit up. Also, she works at a maid cafe and you know I love maids. Her whole spiel about "everyone's weird, you just have to learn to love your brand of weirdness" is such a lovely thing - hence why it's literally at the top of my intro post. Her character design is basically me, I WEAR SHORT SKIRTS AND TIGHTS AND I LIKE MAID OUTFITS YEAHHHHHH. Also, did I mention she likes to dress up as a maid? That's so genber......

Lira Echigo

Lira hasn't appeared in the anime yet, and of the girls listed she has the least screen time, but she's so genber fun. She's this really tall girl who wears the cutest clothes in existence and she essentially forces Ko into dating her. I don't really have a lot to say about her, she's just a really fun character who kinda gets shafted by lack of screen time.

And, of course, Ko.

He's just the other side of that autism coin. I relate to his restlessness, I too am an insomniac who had issues in school because of said insomnia. I like him because he's just such a good kid doing what he can to have fun and to make his life make sense. I like it when he gets to be really really smart, like in the 86th or 87th chapter (I forget what it is) when he figures out Kyouko's plans. I also love it when it shows that he is just a kid. When he upsets Nazuna and he's trying to find her and he just sorta cries into his little walky talky watch about "I've never really had a fight before" while trying not to lose his friendship with her. idk it hits me in the heart.

He's just a great character imo. He feels real. He's sorta a more realistic anchor to the series, a good character to accompany Nazuna's silly shit. And, the fact he becomes a sorta bad ass when he SPOILERS becomes a half vampire. He's jut such an interesting fucker.

Theres so much stuff that can go wrong when you have to jump off a plane in the army

First you might just arrive where ure supposed to board the plane and turns out theres some issue with it and it cant take off

Second even if the plane is fine the weather is a big factor, if theres too much rain, snow, wind, or the ''ceiling'' (clouds basically) is too low you might not jump, or have to wait a few hours even

Now say you've equiped urself, boarded the plane, you're standing up inside right above where you have to jump with the cable that opens your parachute already tied to the plane

When you jump you might fuck urself up with the cable if u dont pay attention, if you go carelessly you might hit your leg on the planes door, if your parachute is faulty you might just get stuck on the side of the plane lmao

Now if you're falling and the cable pulled out ur parachute, it might just not open, it might be tangled up, ripped up

If it opens fine you have the risk of coliding with other guys bc you jump very close from each other

If everything goes fine you have to think fast cuz you're being left at 400 meters in the sky and thats pretty close to the ground. You can't go in specific directions and can barely slow ur gliding, cant slow the fall though.

Now the landing fucking sucks bc you impact the ground and if u place ur legs unproperly or do literally anything wrong you might hurt urself pretty bad, it's even worse when like me ur legs are already fucked lmao

How about an AU where the Agarthans created mechanical bodies to continue living eternally instead of the weird body hopping thing they do that's never explained. Like, use their technological advancement or something! Make their robot bodies look weird and detached from humanity. It would make their motivations seem more interesting.

And then give us some crest stones shoved into robots so that the Nabateans are turned against each other or whatever!

Honestly,I just want any type of story that goes into more detail about the Agarthans and Nabateans because they are the core of the plot!

Okay so after episode 7 I thought it was weird that blitz was upset with stolas cause stolas seemed to always be really into blitz and blitz seemed put off by stolas. Which, fair. But after episode 7 I read so many deep dives into blitz and rewatchwd episode 6 and I definitely could understand why he felt the way he did. But now after watching the season 2 premier I'm back to not quite understanding why blitz is being weird about stolas. I mean I get the insecurities thing. I do. I get that he doesn't know how to handle close relationships even though he wants them. But like... Why does he think stolas isnt into him? I mean sure the deal was a way for stolas to get close to him, but stolas was grasping at straws to try and hang out with him. Blitz has always had the upper hand in their relationship it seems. He was sent to be friends with stolas for the day, and saw that stolas had no idea what was going on. It seems like blitz had more control over that friendship than stolas, even if he was made to be there. And then when he went to get the book he used aggressive flirting to make it work, and stolas backed off everytime it got too wild. And then when blitz literally could leave he decided to take pity on stolas. Like.... Bitch this man has been bending over backwards to try to get y'all to hang out (in truly terrible ways, I'll admit) but...blitz wtf he's literally Gaga over you and has been forever???? My guy??? What???

Ive Seen a lot of crud abt “too much gender” in the new special, and here’s my take:

For years, the 2slgbtqia+ community has been repressed in media, like idk, a spring under a weight. So when finally, finally, we are giv n the right to be shown on screen, we SPRING. And it can be a lot, but eventually we will find that balance, and I think we’re beginning to with shows like greys and dr who attempting to normalize it.

I liked having a transfem Nb character, but I do agree she and the fourteenth need some development outside of gender. Like I’d love to see Rose just chilling with Wilf watching the stars, or idk her talking about what it’s like to be a small business owner. I hope we get more of that in the next special!!!!!
