AUUUGHGHGHGHF Q!PAC AND Q!FOREVER ARE EVERYTHING TO MEEEE

god i love people that have lost everything and they turn to something, literally anything to relieve them of their pain. you know what makes them so special. it's the fact that they started taking the drug for different reasons.

i mean, sure, yeah, obviously it was born from the same inciting incident (ie, richas going missing), but that affected the two of them in completely different contexts. forever was set off by that plus a bunch of newfound presidential stress; pac was set off by that, forever succumbing to the drug, mike still being missing, and generally feeling weak and useless to everyone. forever wanted to stop feeling angry at the world. pac wanted to stop feeling sad for himself. they were given different reasons and they just. they pulled off the way it affects them differently so so SO perfectly.

in forever's moments of lucidity, he was so angry. he was furious. he was hollering with rage and shouting at people and pulling guns on those he trusts the most, kicking and punching and clawing at the air so that his family wouldn't be hurt because he is tired of his family being hurt. he is supposed to be the protector and yet every member of the favela 5 has had just awful awful things happen to them and he is so, so angry at everything for hurting them. and being angry is exhausting, especially when that anger is just pain and sorrow and hurt disguised as something else.

in pac's moments of lucidity, he was just sad. he was broken. he was anguished and in turmoil and despair, and he wasn't as hooked on the drugs and as such. we got to actually hear his thought process behind taking the drug. pac was alone. he lost forever, he lost richas, he lost mike, he lost walter bob; everyone close to him, everyone that he loves was just gone, and he couldn't do a single thing about any of it. he felt useless and so, so lonely and was so filled with this deep-rooted melancholy and. ugh.

it's so impressive to do essentially the same thing with two characters and yet have them act completely different for more than one reason. sure, pac had moments of awareness more often and not as aggressively as forever did because he was on risus for a shorter amount of time, but also because that's just...not how his true self manifested. he wasn't angry- or he was, maybe he was, but that wasn't his primary emotion. he was just sad and lonely. forever was angry and protective. pac was sniffling and curling in on himself in his cage, flinching and breaking out into fully-fledged sobs when cellbit started shouting. forever was shouting right back at him, hallucinating, trying to plunge himself further into denial even as his real self fought tooth and nail to get out so he could protect his family. when forever was released from the risas, he screamed and it was one of pent up fury. when pac was released from the risas, he wept. same drug, two different affects on two different people. it gives it a jarring element of reality that's just. utterly incredible. huge props to all involved.

While he latched onto to trusting Pac pretty quickly. He hung out with Fit more, but it took him longer to be unwavering to him because Fit had secrets.

totally agree with this but also i was watching pac's stream the other day and he definitely recognizes fit as the one tubbo trusts the most. there have been a bunch of times where he's asked fit to go check on tubbo in the past, and this time he said something along the lines of "he always hears you". it was when pac and fit were using invis to check quackity's basement and pac ended up following along to listen but stayed hidden and didn't let them know he was there. i think all the islanders recognize that there are different levels and types of trust even among friends

Honestly I think pac has a lot of self confidence issues, while I do think Tubbo looks to Fit as the more grounding force therefore he’s more willing to listen him, plus him having to grow to trust Fit has really allowed him to learn through experience that Fit means well for him. I’ve always been under the impression that Tubbo trusts them both around the same amount its just that he considers Fit a lot safer, I think thats what Pacs been picking up on. Pac’s under the impression that he’s a bit useless so he pulls back a lot from tubbo even though he really doesn’t mean to, which has pushed their trust dynamic in a very different direction then the one they both have with fit.

Conclusions, thoughts, and theories

New info: 

- Two unnamed eggs (Definitely A1 and Hope)

- Richas is in group four. Why? He’s meant to be in tallulahs group, but this implies he’s from another batch. Would explain why he’s smaller. Also, maybe why he knows so much about egg island? 

- earlier in the stream, there were files for the eggs. Basically barrels containing their assessments and reports on development. There were two barrels labelled ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️(presumably “memories” which is another name for hope) and ▪️▪️▪️  ▪️▪️(egg a1).

My Thoughts/theories

One of either hope or a1 is dead. My bet is on a1 being dead, considering we saw her fall into lava on screen in one of Quackities streams. Hope, or memories, however, has no proof on her status. Aside from that image. My bet is hope is alive. If so, where is she? Are the batches labeled in order, or are they judged by success in development? Which would explain why Richas is group four: he’s considered the worst egg to the federation. He doesn’t back down, he’s reckless, he’s impulsive, he’s against the feds.He threatened Cucurucho. He doesn’t listen to orders. Hes untrustworthy. This is how the federation views him. A1 couldn’t do basic parkour, and struggled to write. Hope? The federation deemed her unworthy.Tallulah was likely meant to be batch 4, considering she was abandoned in the adoption centre just like hope was. But then with Phil’s care, she “leveled up” so to speak. 

(it has been pointed out to me that Memories/Hope is actually listed as group 2, which is listed as deceased. Meaning Egg A1 is likely the one who is alive, which will certainly be… interesting, when they meet Quackity again. Poor kid. I’m still holding out, well, hope, that hope is alive somewhere.)

I believe sunny is on thin ice, because of the notes that Cucurucho made in her developmental report. 

And where did pomme and Richas go? They were seen in the library where Cucurucho found the eggs, but must have snuck away at some point. I think the fact that they were left behind will have something to do with the rescue mission they’ve been planning for Cellbit and Baghera.

Im once again thinking about Richas and her behavior bc this lil egg makes me mentally ill

Richas has the BIGGEST family in the island, not only he has 7 dads (Roier married in), but also granddads and so many tios he consider as her dads as well (Max, Bad, and tbh Pierre), plus Baghera and Jaiden as their direct aunts. It's BIG, and has literally all the troublemakers in the island

Which means the people Richas love are constantly under attack. They're constantly in danger. No wonder he shut himself from any bad emotions. She needs to be the light in their lives, right? They're all doing this for him and his egg siblings, so he can't allow himself to be somber or sad. He has to be happy and cheer them up

The only times he lets his bad emotions out was during his jealousy fits, that he himself doesn't even realize its part of his separation anxiety and trauma over watching so many of his family be taken. He thinks he's weird for not being able to take pics without his dad, he thinks hes just jealousy when he gets so anxious with his dads joking about adopting another egg

And this happy-go-lucky mentality is what makes him so chill with Foolish. He fully believes Pac e Mike will be okay and soon be returned. Even if he is angry at Foolish, what good will this make? He'll just bring the mood down, so he brushes it off. He doesn't know what happened to Pac e Mike, he only knows about the fact they have been arrested before with Cellbit and that Cellbit ate Pac's leg. And if Pac e Mike could forgive Cellbit for that, they can forgive Foolish too, right?

And Richas don't know that Pac e Mike left Cellbit to die, he could've killed himself for all they cared. It wasn't immediate forgiveness, it took time. Richas never saw Pac e Mike at this low point before, he don't know what they lost again

Ricardão (The name we gave to QNPC07) watched the prison escape stream for sure (I'm 90% sure he was the guard with a backpack), so he knows the two escaped, but Richas doesn't. And, tbh? With how reassuring Richas is being that Pac e Mike will forgive Foolish, it makes me believe he's hyping Foolish up for a big fall

okay so. warning, this is Long (for me anyway) and kind of unfinished? unpolished? its 1am and i am having Thoughts.

Little analysis of qTubbo and Morning Crew because ive been seeing a lotta opinions and I wish to add My Own into the Melting Pot.(I may get off track, im sorry, im incoherent at all times, thats why my posts are so short.)(also all characters just in case)

So first of all, Im putting it out there. Fit and Pac still care about Tubbo. From an outside view, from the audience, we can clearly see that. Unfortunately for us, Tubbo is infact not acting with the same knowledge in mind.

As far as Tubbo is aware they are going to move on without him. They have eachother now they dont need him anymore

With him and Fits relationship We can see that the jokes are banter and just silly, even if ill timed, but how was fit supposed to know that. We see this moment kinda throw tubbo back into 'I have to be worth something, because why would anyone Actually want to team with me if i cant give them something, if I cant make up for being Me '. He starts being more reckless about wanting create back, not really caring to try get out of the cage, even though he probably could of glitch blocked up there at the start.

Ive also seen people mention the fact that Fit 'told him he was family'. Now please genuinely correct me if im wrong. Fit only told Sunny she was family("Youre family"). Sure, he was Right There, but we know that tubbo sees Sunny as more important than him, its totally plausible that Tubbo thought that that wouldn't include him. Its never specified that that was directed at more than just Sunny (out loud), Tubbo also didn't know what sunny wrote (as far as im aware).

I had a whole paragraph on Pac too but it got too messy to salvage, maybe another day.

Tubbo has always been slightly weird about his place in Morning Crew, especially since it started "becoming an isocoles triangle". Im not sure if im more on the side of hes trying to push them away before they get the chance to to save himself the heartache, or if he's trying to show them how much they need him like a 'look at how weird it is when im not there At All. Look at my Cool Town with Foolish and Not you. Please need me still'.

Im Most on the side of him distancing himself, not to save himself the pain(maybe still slightly), not to try get them to come Get Him Back, but to almost hint at them that they Can move away from him. Trying to show them that he does have Other People they dont Need to be around him if they dont want to. The thing about this that isnt working is that Fit and Pac Do still want to be around him.

TLDR: Fit and Pac still care, but no matter how obvious, q!tubbo is mentally ill and has convinced himself that since they got together he is becoming Less and Less important, only catastrophising further at each thing that could be taken as cold even when theyre not.

(long post about purgatory and meta and rp)

sigh one thing ive been thinking is that it feels a bit unfair to see so many people complaining or doomposting over how purgatory affects the overarching qsmp rp story or how it ~interrupted arcs~ or is ~disturbing current storylines~ or ~narratively unsatisfying~ like. Sure. its a bit abrupt and most players were caught off guard because lore-wise it stems from the federation which means none of them were told about anything beforehand

but... its only been three days. maybe we could have a little faith? like idk ill be soooooo out there rn and say that maybe the admins did this now for a reason. maybe itll make sense later on. we already see lore repercussions with elquackity and his motives and all the nods to the eggs.

theres fair criticism to be made (when done respectfully) if youre mainly here for the roleplay but i feel like we sometimes need to remind ourselves that the qsmp storytelling is a VERY ambitious project. lmao. imagine being the writing team and trying to wrangle 20+ characters with distinct points of view and journeys on an ever-changing story because of the very nature of live rp. its practically IMPOSSIBLE to tie up every loose end neatly and at this point i dont think we should expect that. keeping up momentum with all plotlines must also be pretty hard, cc's schedules and outside factors like server programming and building and mod tweaking and all those meta elements considered and so on and so on

i DO also want the story to move forward and be cohesive and make sense in a satisfactory way. like i really do!!!!!!! but i try to understand that thats not ALL the qsmp is about. from the start quackity said the server wouldn't be exclusive to the rp aspect. it sure is that way right now, but thats because most of the active members are VERY passionate about roleplaying. thats a good thing! they have fun and its fun to watch and the experience is mostly good for everyone because it corresponds to their expectations to an extent

the thing about purgatory is that i feel like its a lot more meta than most people doomposting realize. it ties into the story, sure, but to me it feels like the sudden switch in environment and vibes and stakes isnt actually catered to the rp and thats FINE. like thats not what it exists for and thats fineeeeeee

pac for one has said he appreciates the event for the change of pace, though its very hard (lol), because regular qsmp was starting to feel a bit stale to him and he was kind of running out of things to do. THATS A GREAT THING! managing player engagement like that is awesome and sometimes necessary. YES, purgatory caters to a very different playstyle than what we're used to -- and thats one of its strenghts.

a lot of hispanic creators have also felt this!!!! roier, rivers and carre most prominently have been VERY excited about this event because its similar in format to a lot of spanish speaking events like mc extremo and such. a lot of these players are also not particularly interested in rp-ing and had not been logging on very often prior to purgatory.

even roleplay regulars like tubbo, fit and bbh have shown interest in purgatory for the competitive nature of the setting!!! thats cool too!!!! something different, new possibilities to play around with. thats what the events should be about. kudos to the admins and dev teams for attempting it in such a big scale. their effort shows and all the mechanics weve seen are really fucking cool

i love the roleplay!!!!!! its one of my favorite parts of the qsmp!!!!!! but its not ALL there is and it shouldnt be! non rp-oriented creators are also part of the project and deserve to have a little fun too -- not to mention a big chunk of the hispanic fan community that has blown up twitter with support bc what we have rn is similar to events they already love!!!!!!! im glad to see so many of them get excited again!!!!!!

at the end of the day, qsmp is a LONG long term project, and purgatory ends in two weeks. by the time its over, we can all choose to engage with it as we wish. it can be a big filler episode in your mind, if you want. it can be just for fun..... otherwise, if its not fun, your regularly scheduled qsmp will be back soon anyway :3 its fine to not like it, its fine to have something negative to say about it if properly tagged and not like. crazy entitled or blown out of proportion for what this situation is.

i just hope we can all manage our online experiences accordingly and avoid making things less enjoyable for each other. this is supposed to be fun

sorry for potentially distracting from the more recent statements, but i just wanted to express how much i miss resistance lore as well. it was literally perfect. a brilliant antipode to the federation and the most logical narrative continuation. i love you resistance i love you weird codes that are actually but resistance's tools i love you weird npcs and resistance correspondence. this feels like such an underrated piece of story, but i might be just separated from the larger fandom way too much, haha -hope (you don't know me, but ill sign off jic)

résistance lore my beloved. I adored how everything was so mysterious but also made us learn a lot on the codes, the feds…I loved the way the members all had little missions and puzzles to join in….I loved how they were all so hush hush about it like it was some cool kids secret club…. also the actual resistance HQs was so cool looking

and on top of that etoiles fit pac bagi all in one badass secret rebels team ? this truly was tailor made for my tastes

so curious about all of these but ill stick to asking about the among us au for now. im intrigued

okay among us au would be a multi-chaptered fic and i have about half of chapter one written and a tiny bit of chapter two. unfortunately a big part of it is a character i no longer want to write. fortunately, i wrote up a lot of backstory notes that don't involve him. some things will be kind of awkward because i haven't fixed the absence yet

i'm just going to put all of this under the cut because it's quite long but quickly i'll say that this is using a very basic framework of among us and i have kind of expanded the universe/politics from there. i think this is what a lot of among us aus do, too, but yeah the actual story of the fic is not inherently based around the gameplay--that's more backstory stuff if anything

(please keep in mind there will be spoilers here, but i will try to keep them minimal. also keep in mind i have no plans to write it out fully right now, but i may come back to it later)

Felps: actual imposter. Doesn’t really kill. prefers to just kind of watch the chaos but doesn’t want to work for it. Became friends with cellbit and hid + kept him safe from other imposters and now just smuggles him around on every ship he gets sent to. He’s the pilot of their ship in the plot

Cellbit: Human. was on a prisoner transport ship when he met felps (10 years ago). Cannibal and murderer. Happy to murder people on behalf of felps. Throughout their years of doing this he’s become more adjusted than at the start and he's mostly now just killing to keep cucurucho off of felps. On the side working at ways to get out from under cucurucho's thumb

Tazercraft: engineers for the current ship. First people to find out about felps being an imposter (and make the connection that cellbit must be too) but keep the information to themselves because pac is queer--love wins \o/ Mike as an anarchist is going to be important but i need to figure out the politics more (helps him connect with cellbit a little)

Bagi: officially she’s here on government business. Unofficially she’s continuing her investigation into finding her long lost brother. Not sure whether the amnesia is going to come into play or not but she can’t recognise cellbit as the person she was tracking down. Knows her brother disappeared in an imposter attack and is trying to follow that lead

I'm uncertain entirely of the politics with both the humans and imposters but to mimic the regret arc: cucurucho is part of the imposter government--they are not aligned at all with the human government

fuga backstory:

Pac e Mike were on a prisoner transport ship (8 years ago) at the same time as Cellbit and Felps (imposter duo) (not the one where cellbit and felps met). Tazercraft + JV + Guaxinim were trying to use the escape pods to escape--not because of the killings originally just to get out of going to jail. Cellbit and felps try to hang out with them a bit for marination reasons. Cellbit kills JV because he gets too suspicious lol. Felps falls in love with pac and when cellbit goes to kill pac he only manages to get his leg before Felps stops him. It was dark so pac doesn’t know it was them (otherwise there'd be no mystery in the actual plot oops). Tazercraft + guaxinim manage to escape and cellbit kills the rest of the people on the ship

this fic would have three povs for the three different "factions". Bagi's for the government/investigation side of things, Felps for the imposter side of things, and then either mike or pac for tazercraft's side of things--not sure yet

i don't want to spoil the entirety of the actual plot so i'll leave it here! also someone else asked about among us so i might try and clean up a snippet of the wip to post for them so keep an eye out for that if you're interested \o/!

okay i lied im not done rambling bc tazercraft are causing brain rot- so sorry if this a mess idk how to articulate my words well (also all will be refering to cubitos so i dont have to put q! all the time)

Okay what I need to talk about is the complicated and borderline toxic co-dependency that Pac and Mike have.

The two are obviously attached at the fucking hip, theres entire head canons of them having a “soul link” and shit bc of just how attached they are, and I think Mike’s change in behavior highlights that perfectly.

He came back odd, erratic, and generally off, but what really got me was when he started going after Fit seemingly out of nowhere. He shows up and the second he sees just how close Pac and Fit have become he tries to get in between them. He makes it extremely obvious that he is NOT happy about their bond, with the constant threats towards Fit when Pac can’t hear, and saying things like “I don’t trust you around him.” His behavior is teetering the line of possessive, and honestly it might have crossed that line already.

I think the reason Mike is behaving this way is because for a long time, they only ever had eachother, and they only ever needed eachother and no one else. Mike is seeing Pac gain that independence without him and he seems to be bothered by it.

The thing is, it’s not a one sided dependency, because Pac is just as dependent to Mike. The fact the he immediately wants to believe what Mike is saying, so much so that he’s ignoring obvious signs that something is wrong is very telling. Like in my previous post, they would both rather be with broken versions of each other then with none at all. That thought, is so sad, because instead of wanting to face the issues and risk losing eachother, they would rather ignore them because they know then that they won’t be separated.

Their dynamic is just as heart warming as it is gut wrenching. They are each other’s life force but also eachother’s poison, and the way they are so willing take that poison in fear of losing eachother makes me ill.

Instead of both being experiments, I think it would be really funny if the goldfinchduo were just mindwiped scientist from the federation.

Not really a theory or anything, just a au of mine. Though I do have to say, with what I know from the character lore (fandom osmosis due to being Jaiden Pov), it feels more fitting to me than project bluebird. That is, with Jaiden having implied to have helped cucurucho in the past and Foolish being an immortal being. Anyways--

Foolish disguises himself as a normal human and decides to hang with these group of scientists he found on some deserted island out of boredom

The Federation is still in its early stages, still small, but very much starting to turn more unethical.

Though through the weird human and animal experiments, he befriends a scientist going under the alias Bluebird

She's just another human scientist that helps create assets for the federation, having made some of the helpers on the island (I have conflicting headcanons on whether the federation workers are body horror nightmares or robots but I'm bad at articulating them so)

He thinks the bear guys are rad as hell and she thinks Foolish is a nice dude to talk to, fast friends

Though eventually, the federation gets more... federation-y and Bluebird starts to realize that things are kind of fucked up (she found the children in the basement/j)

Anyways, as things progressed they eventually get mindwiped for 'perfection' and get seperated

Foolish somehow gets off the island (back in normal totem shark form), though memory erased. While he gradually gets his pre-island memories back, he doesn't remember being a fed worker. Also Bad found him, Foolish just pretended to know him until the amnesia went away.

Bluebird gets bluebirded (Also my headcanon that the federation birds are basically uncanny valley freaks to any actual avians plays into this-- think a wolf seeing a dog, a being like you but dulled)

Currently, they have a weird deja vu feeling about the other, but they dont know why

They're kindred spirits either way

Also in this au the Feds don't realize that Foolish is their ex employee until before the point in canon where he gets (re)hired by them to arrest Pac and Mike

HII ^_^ awesome. ok. so atm i have one silly racing au that i rotate in my head and one fic in the works which takes place directly after fuga when guaxinim, pac, and mike leave the island together on the boat. this one is heavy on the hurt and lighter on the comfort and is essentially just pac on one massive spiral now that he's starting to process everything that happened in prison and the island. lots of pac feeling guilty about cell's perceived suicide and struggling with his anger at mike for getting them into this mess. he's very much an emotional wreck LOL. hes been through so fucking much man. also going from being enclosed in a prison for a year and a half and then being out on open water and the crazy anxiety of being in such an open space is. well. its really getting to him. i'll leave some snippets of it under the cut 💪💪💪

the racing au is really just silly⛵💪💪🔥🔥🔥the nature of the sailing autism being that i always need to take some guys and throw them on a racing team, all of their insanities included.

when i talked about this au before i said that they sailed j22s but im upgrading them. they now sail Melges 20s. its official. ill put images under the cut. god. gorgeous boats.

the general idea is that JV and cell are two sailors looking for new members for their respective crews. felps is already on cell's crew and guaxinim sails with JV. probably at some point jv was on cell and felp's crew and now they have some kind of crazy beef. anyways. cell is just as weird and gross and intense as he is in fuga and he really wants pac and mike on his crew and having nothing to do with JV. obviously mike is skeeved out by the weird gross guy who looks maybe a bit too hungry sometimes and tries to get pac to join JV's crew with him. unfortunately pac is way too enamored with cell's negative rizz and cell proposes the idea to pac that tazercraft splits ways and mike can join JV's crew on his own. Mike is understandably upset at this but still ends up joining JV and guaxi's crew. the two boats have insane tension and pac is torn between pretending none of this happened at all and ignoring mike/sending worlds saddest eyes back to mike. mike is hurt and pissed off at pac and cell and felps and does his best to pretend that they dont exist at all while also needing to beat them in every regatta ever or he'll DIE because maybe if he wins against them enough times it'll prove something to pac. what will it prove? i dont think even he knows lol.

cell is actively trying to drive a wedge in between pac and mike and JV is doing the same thing on the other side. felps is purposely looking the other way during all of this and guaxinim is watching it all go down with some sick sense of fascination. definitely just hanging around to watch it happen like a long drawn out car crash.

cell in this au is especially fascinating to me. squeezing him like a stressball. he's ten ways fucked in the head and the reason why he started sailing in the first place is because his therapist told him to get a hobby and it was downhill from there. anyways cell tells his therapist about pac and the next time cell sees pac he walks up to him and says "my therapist says that we need to get coffee together and have normal interactions so i stop thinking about eating you" and pac just goes. oh! and its the hottest thing anyones ever said to him
