hi echo \o/ I am thinking about Dara and Guizo friendship I am thinking about Guizo being honest with Dara and Dara trusting Guizo to be honest with her… like the moment where he brushes her off in front of the others when she asks if he needs healing but then when she asks via the mindlink he basically says everything hurts… and then in the last episode when Lírio is telling Dara that Xande’s okay and he’ll be coming soon she just looks over to Guizo for confirmation and he shakes his head…

such a fun dynamic to me!! also unrelated but I like it: shoutout to Dara for jumpscaring Guizo via the mindlink right as he’s about to try and sneak into somewhere dangerous pfft

hi wsd!!! THEY'RE SO IMPORTANT. they trust each other so much. I appreciate them a lot. I also really like the bit in episode 4 after they fight off the alien inside the petrol station where Xande pushes Guizo to check on Dara instead of doing it himself because he thinks she'll be more receptive to him, and she tells him about being Chosen. they're important to me...

and for more on the silly side: yeah <3 what also comes to mind for me is that bit in SDOL 2 where he's disguised and pretending to be her dad and calls her Darinha and she goes "never do that again!" "it's just for now-" "after this. never again!" "never again? :(" "never again." they're so sillies

Of course! "Pragma" is going to be Chapter 3 of "Like a Parody of Tantalus." Mike gets two chapters in that fic because his relationship with Pac, and their history, means the world to me :') Tazercraft my beloved.

When Pac was younger, he wasn't afraid of anything.

Well, strictly speaking, this wasn't entirely true. He was afraid of cockroaches and the suspiciously lumpy stew the Matron fed them every other day, and sometimes he had nightmares about falling into quicksand, but he wasn't afraid of things that really mattered. He’d already lost his family, and Pac couldn’t imagine anything scarier than that.

Pac wasn’t afraid when he met Mike on a cloudy afternoon in the barren orphanage playground and helped enact justice on a bully. He’d taped up Mike's broken glasses with a smile afterward, confidently reassuring Mike that everything would be ok now because they were friends, and no matter what happened, friends always had each other's backs, right?

But as they got older, new fears started accumulating, and Pac became afraid of things that mattered.

He was afraid of small spaces and being trapped behind cold iron bars. He was afraid of open water and being dragged under by the weight of his equipment, unable to reach the surface. He was afraid of hands reaching out of the darkness, a familiar voice whispering a nickname teasingly in his ear before plunging a knife through his heart.

But above all else, he was afraid of losing Mike.

They started sharing a bed after escaping prison. Pac rarely slept throughout the entire night; nightmares startled him awake half the time, and the other half, phantom pain from his missing leg woke him up. Usually when this happened, Mike immediately roused too. Pac wished he had it in him to feel guilty about that, but lying there with his best friend's arms wrapped securely around him as he trembled until Mike's steady heartbeat calmed his own, all he could feel was grateful.

These days when he woke up, no one was there to comfort him. Richarlyson asked to sleep with him in their big bed the first night after Mike went missing, and Pac didn’t have the heart to say no. He was too worried about scaring Richarlyson with one of his nightmares to let it become a habit though, and Richarlyson’s other fathers gladly took him every night after that. Richarlyson tried so hard to make him feel better, but it wasn't a kid's responsibility to take care of an adult.

Pac felt like a lousy parent.

And yes!! Some of the arcs are so complex and extensive that it would be best to have multiple writers and artists! Other arcs are much simpler and shorter that they might have a writer or two, it will depend on the arc really!

There’s a strange man lying on the beach. He looks like he’s resting—which is, honestly, pretty stupid considering the lack of armour, apparent lack of weapons, and the standard issue shitty-looking prosthetic leg that can’t be any good for fighting. It took Fit ages just to relearn his arm, and his arm is advanced.

This has to be a trap. There’s no way a guy like this would make it out of Spawn with what little he has on him

Felps first meets Cellbit in a public park. They’re close to the same age, he thinks. Ages have always been a little difficult for him to grasp, even without the darkness of the night confusing things. But while he can’t properly figure out the guy’s age, he can at least see the splattering of… something covering his hands, and clothes.  And he’s inclined to call the something blood, considering the guy immediately brandishes a knife when his eyes lock onto Felps.

Fit has a son to worry about now, and he has done more morally bankrupt things than guard a lab. All things considered, it’s a pretty cruisy job.

My love letter to qsmp and qsmpblr.

I saw other people doing this, so I might as well too!!!! I like the positivity of it all!!!

My story with qsmp is kind of a sad one, so sorry, but warning for the death of a loved one is mentioned in the second paragraph.

Originally, I was very excited about qsmp from the day it was announced. Quackity had been one of my favorite content creators for years at that point. Although, the day it started, I was on vacation with my mom and grandma for my little sibling's birthday. I didn't have time to watch day 1, so I just didn't get into it. I got updates through a friend of mine (Hi Warren!!!) meaning I had some idea of what was going on. Plus, I watched clips here and there. (Also, fun fact!!! I voted in the elections for Bad even though I didn't know what was going on!!)

Okay, here's the sad part. In early July of 2023, my grandfather on my mom's side died. It sucked. I was closer with him when I was little, so I didn't know what to feel. It hurts, I think. Everything about that situation sucked, from getting there to the mess that is my big ass family. Though on my last night there, I was thinking about the qsmp for whatever reason. I decided that I wanted to get into it there and then. I sat in the airport waiting to get on an airplane to go home watching qsmp compilations to get caught up. It was amazing. I felt better, just a bit.

I made my first post with the qsmp tag on July 13th, 2023, and y'all have been stuck with my ass ever since.

Now!!! It's time to shout out the lovely people of qsmpblr!!! (Under the cut cause I think this is getting long)

I'm so bad at actually remembering to recommend fics I like, but I was just reminded of "You And Me Were Built for Violence" and I wanted to take a moment and recommend it to folks if they haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet! It's a Fuga Impossivel + 2b2t crossover fic where Tazercraft are washed up on 2b2t shortly after their escape from Alcatraz and are found by none other than FitMC. It's got some great Fit/Pac content and some really good Tazercraft content. 10/10 fic! There's only two chapters so far, but they're both very satisfying and well written.
