But as you can probably guess, I never rlly finished that intro card- (╥ ╥) But I'm actually almost done w/ the new one now! I'm going to have it done in a few days, I just need to finish writing a section, and polishing a few things. So if all goes to plan, I'll be posting the ref and card soon ♡

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you liked them! And I appreciate the patience, particularly because Circumnavigators in particular tends to be such a very go with the flow series so I don't exactly have a timeline for completion or anything. There are more coming down the pipeline this year, though, I promise! And I am excited to share them!

idk if anyone is following specific projects ive talked about/mentioned but. i just want to say i know this year (especially the last couple months) has been chaotic and scattered and ive kept starting things and then they just. disappear from existence. i wanna semi apologise for that & tell you that i will be trying to do a lot less of that from this point- i wont always succeed, in very whim prone ':) but. i will be trying to keep a stable focus. i think i have plans to help with that.

i hate to treat my craft as content, but i hope whatever you signed up for will be better next year. i love talking about what i do & figuring out problems with you guys, and im looking forward to more of it in the future.

i tried a solo journaling ttrpg for the first time by playing chalice and it was super fun!!! i needed a brain break after fighting actium, and it had the perfect amount of prompting while still letting you take the lead on the creative decisions and connections. i came away from it with a surprisingly coherent and circular story given the fact that it was all randomized

FOR JING YUAN.

I think it'd be fun if Jing Yuan initially met Zarina when IPC would visit the Xianzhou Luofu and they've met as a general and bodyguard. I think Jing Yuan - with his experience and his capabilities - would know that this person in front of him is not just a bodyguard, but someone who is hiding in the plain sight. Would he be interested in making a conversation with a bodyguard who finally gets a moment of rest and steps away?

Aside from that, there are some more ideas like these:

Years ago, assisting with taking down a Fragmentum monsters or Abundance followers. Mayhaps, there was an issue needing his attention and Zarina - wandering at that point - handling that situation where Jing Yuan was able to catch a glimpse of an Emanator's power for just a millisecond but for him it's enough. It's enough to know there may be danger (or not?) on Xianzhou Luofu. Especially when that someone may remind him of Jingliu, his ex-mentor. The moon, the ice, the silver hair, the weapon master.

The bodyguard role of an IPC executive, one of the Stonehearts, may be the reason for their initial meeting. She follows the Stoneheart everywhere but Jing Yuan notices there is a vast difference in power levels of a bodyguard and the one she guards. Not only that, the creatures of abundance avoid her as it's the jungle and she's the sole apex predator. Is there something he needs to know from the IPC or is it something to figure out on his own? It seems the bodyguard herself wishes to speak but cannot when her client is present.

FOR DR. RATIO.

As a member of Intelligentsia Guild and someone who's been studying the universe in variety of ways, I would say that Andreas will have the capability of actually dipping into the truth of Origin, the truth of Ego. Specifically, I believe that Dr. Ratio himself will be able to dig up the history of Apostles of Origin: The fact that they are the supporters of the universe's life force and the ones who 'preach' the word of Origin to those who forget that life itself is guarded by an Aeon.

I would say that Dr. Ratio would be able to learn that the Aeon of Origin appears once in a couple of hundred years, a girl with pink hair and bright eyes full of life's vibrance and love for all that is in the world. So if an Aeon steps down before humans, can't he figure out when the next time an Aeon appears? But what's easier to track than an Aeon? Its Emanator. And so, the luck would give him exactly that: an Emanator, an Apostle in the face of a woman who works for Diamond (Or Jade or Opal depending on timeline) when he visits IPC next time.

So the plot lines that may happen and I propose are:

Having Dr. Ratio being forced to have Zarina as a bodyguard while he is exploring a newly acquired IPC planet where he may want to do a research. Maybe she can protect him from an unknown beast or something else where they may be forced to spend more time together.

Having Andreas witness Zarina perform the ritual of Origin that he was able to study and read about the 'seeds of life' that connect to the Aeon of Origin/Ego to support the planet/the lives of those who live on it.
