-see, leon is a firm believer that a person cannot come to their best senses unless their basic/psychological needs are fulfilled. that includes things like eating, or affection—because when your body senses that you're lacking in something, it will use your brain power to signal you that you need to eat or be smothered with affection! hence you can end up feeling burnt out if u dont pay attention to ur love vitals!! >:(

-leon's mindset will always be applied on you because you're his second heart, you're his tough rock and you need to be taken care of!!

-HE KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE THINKING "affection? that's absurd people can still learn attentively and work efficiently without having to be coddled >:(" while yes in a sense its true—but sometimes you just don't realize that what you need is some time to be vulnerable and intimate, which can explain why your emotions feel a lot more heightened recently than usual (which he notices by the way). you've been tense for a while, and leon reasons that you can't just 'move on' from being overwhelmed with work stress and whatnot—you have to relieve it! but enough about theory.

-your hunger for food or affection is like a 7th sense to leon to be honest. while it's not an accurate intuition everytime, he's bound to think of you once every like two minutes.

-leon actually has very clear and high critical thinking skills. this means he is able to remember a lot of things about you even if he only notices them or you mention it once: this includes your comfort drink, where you like to be touched, hell maybe even the MBTI of your favorite character. and he ESPECIALLY knows what food you like. pad thai, sushi, oxtail, jerk chicken, cake, boba, YOU NAME IT HE KNOWS IF YOU LOVE IT OR NOT

-so when it actually came to asking you what you wanted, he'd send a text saying he's downtown and asking you 'what would you like, baby?'. he's careful with his words and doesn't say "do you want me to get you something on the way?" because it means he's giving you a choice >:( when the whole point is to spoil you because you deserve it.

-and if you answer with something vague like 'anything' HE DOESN'T MAKE YOU SPEAK FURTHER he'll just buy what he knows u like and keep the rest in the fridge if you dont wanna eat it :3 well that's what they're for, right?

"oh, my sweet.." his voice was quaint at the sight of you. leon tried his best to be silent when he entered the room, not wanting to sound like he was pitying you, but seeing you half-covered with comforters, mildly upset and your mind in a frazzle has his heart dropping a bit. you were probably thinking about so many things: meeting some deadlines, picking up this and that from the store, computing this... but you just couldn't organize your thoughts. but that's why leon was here.

your head moved to swivel his direction. "leon.." you smile at him weakly.

it was cold in the city tonight. leon places a hefty white plastic bag of your favorite on the nearby surface before he sits down in front of you from the edge of your bed. he takes the brief second of studying his lover's face before he pulls you into a comforting and warm hug. he can't help but pat the back of his sweet baby's head down, and you feel his lips barely nuzzle onto your ear as he mutters. "y're so good to me, baby. you know that?" leon reminds you before kissing the side of your head shortly. you tried to reciprocate it by giving him a nimble kiss on his cheek, which he gratefully accepts with an eager beam on his lips.

his hands slide down your arms in a soft stroke as he lets go of you gently. the rustling of the bed's layers being heard as leon moves a bit to reach for the hefty boxes of food, which he opens for you once he gives you take your utensil/s. leon's happy seeing you eat. it's a form of reassurance to him personally witnessing you getting the fill you deserve after a whole few days of being so busy and rushing everywhere. it's a calming sense to him as you both soak in comfortable silence while he watches you eat. he was caring less that it's 2 in the morning and caring more about the way the color on your face slowly vibrates back onto your features. you seem less tired, just by a tad percentage. it makes him smile to himself knowing he was able to take care of you. " 'm finished." you mumbled with a hum, feeling a little full and having to lie down. fullness makes you sleepy (and leon knows that!) so he has a subtle, cheeky little grin as he leans over and collects your legs with one arm, pulling you to make you lie on your back. he crawls over to lie down next to you, once again pulling you close to him while he wraps his arms around you— one patting and planted gently on your back while the other cradles your head close to his heart. just where you belong... "you tired, baby?" leon asked shortly and your little nod sufficed. his cheek gently rests against the side of the crown of your head. his touch is soft, it's sweet as he rubs and scratches down your back gently. he gently scruffles at your scalp with his other hand's fingertips, and the motions will send you to a hopefully revitalizing sleep ♡. he places a kiss on the top of your head, like a ribbon keeping its gift from falling apart :( he knows at this moment maybe you're thinking you don't deserve him. but that's so far from the truth.

So I’ve been struggling a lot recently with actually enjoying what I create. a few days ago I haven’t been able to stop like,,,,hating my style? idk but I feel sick looking at my art thinking that it’s boring, uncreative, and that the way I draw is so,,,icky and bad for my age. Ive considered multiple times deleting all of my works and wips that I have and I’m fighting so hard not to💀i am pushing myself to finish a piece I’ve been working on because honestly its the only thing keeping me sane rn. Im also attempting to do art fight this year to maybe push myself out of what it is that I usually draw(the two sillies lmao) and eventually feel happy with my art again? idk I’ve been having a really hard time and I just wanted to maybe type it out or something. So, heads up i might not post very often for a hot minute(my fiancé is also coming to visit so there’s another reason lmao)🫰

Also the difference in likes/attention in a post that has nothing to do with my art vs one that does was kinda demotivating ngl 🚶‍♂️idk if that’s valid or not

okk so just quick disclaimer beforehand, i dont know shit about figure skating except the very very basics (like what type of jumps and stuff) so if smth is incorrect or doesnt make sense its bcs of that haha also as always im hopelessly overpowered :D

In my dr im a figure skater from Germany, i was born in early 2007 and did ballet from when i was like 3 (thats canon btw i did that in my cr too haha) but then quickly got impatient and kinda bored with it (also canon, i regret stopping tho) and my parents put me into figure skating and gymnastics instead. since in my hometown there isnt really a big figure skating team (there is one but its not good ngl) i scripted that my now coach saw me by coincidence and decided i had talent and she wanted to coach me. I can do more on my coach if you guys want to btw its kinda a whole (unfinished) story (shes an oc).

So then she started coaching me in 2014, after a lot of convincing from me towards my parents cos they didnt actually want me to become a professional skater cos its obviously not the healthiest thing to do but after I saw Yulia at the 2014 Olympics I begged my parents to let me get private lessons until they gave in (yulia is kinda my role model and i wanna be like her)

I have an unfinished list of my senior competitions here (for the sake of plot i kinda made it so the covid restrictions on the 2020/21 season didnt happen for the junior competitions, only seniors, also kamila and i dont compete together before the olympic season) and yes ofc i win everything bcs as i said op af (also i know some of the competitions overlap so idk how im gonna do that yet, if anyone has an idea pls feel free to tell me haha)

for jumps i have all quads (yes including 4A cos im just that good lmao) and im playing with the idea (actually i put it already but its prolly impossible so im unsure if i should put it) of scripting i have a quintuple jump as well at some point.

Im really not knowledgeable on different spins i just scripted theyre centered and i dont have a lot of movement on the ice during them idk if thats how you say it but like i spin in one place and dont move to the left or right a ton

Then like some stuff that goes without saying, i have good technique, i dont get hurt badly, i dont have any long term problems from professional skating, stuff like that

My s/o is ilia malinin but since hes born in 2004 we dont get together for a while. We meet either at a competition or during my exchange year in the us in 2024 (my host family lives in the same state he does and we train at the same rink while im there) and then like slowburn friends to lovers pining everyone-knows-except-them kinda stuff (i really do love torturing myself in that aspect apparently)

Some other stuff i can think of rn is that my nickname is 'golden girl' or 'germanys golden girl' idk just smth i came up with (if you have any other ideas pls tell me haha unfortunately im uncreative af when it comes to stuff like that)

also you mightve noticed im technically too young to do senior competitions in time for beijing but i just decided to script that they make an exception for me for some reason haha

I can speak 4 languages, German, English, Russian (bcs of my coach) and Spanish

I get along kinda good (as well as you can as competitiors) with the Eteri Girls bcs we're similar age and my coach gets on kinda well with Eteri (they used to compete together except my coach is actually nice) and also i yk speak russian

oh also when i first get there its january 2022 so right before the olympics cos i wanna experience that not just in memory

CURIOUS- What is your process when making your animatics? And what do you use your individual programs for most? (Ei: csp for art and moment / vegas for effects or somn)

Also, I recently got csp ex for animatic/animation stuff myself- You have any tips for how to make big projects alike yer animatics/tions ?

SO. umm. if im being good and professional i'll do the smart thing and do thumbnails for my animatics to outline the gist of what i want. but uhh if im being honest i only did that for lavender town of which you can watch the wip of here! (for some reason i also animated a little bit within these thumbnails which you shouldnt really do but whatever)

but for the rest of my animatics ive thumbnailed in my brain which is very bad and i advise against it. bc i can remember a few times in toba the tura, my heart still beats and mama where im just sitting there like. uhh. what next HAHA so its just good to draw out smthn beforehand or plan ahead even if its messy!!! my only saving grace is how fast i am at drawing so im able to make up for this LMAOO dont be like me for each of my animatics i make one Big csp file (and a backup) which stores all the frames for that animatic (its usually just titled "a" or smthn i am very uncreative) these bitches get huge. So many layers. theres around 600 layers for lavender town alone. if i were smarter id split these files up so it didnt take ages to load and save but alas i am not. But this is where i do my frame by frame animation basically, i just lower the opacity of a frame and draw over it (onion skinning is the term for this iirc), usually i draw key frames of movement and then just inbetween them so they look a little smoother (e.g: a head turning to the side, id draw the back and then the side profile, and then draw the inbetweens of that motion) , im fond of the choppy lower fps look so thats what i go for! i definitely do not set out for super ultra smooth animation or id be collapsed on the floor rn i think as for editing with sony vegas pro, i import all the frames from csp and use "track motion" and "pan/crop" to tween stuff! (like... make it go from left to right, move the camera around yknow) which is a huge crutch for me Especially in toba the tura, i did very little frame by frame animation for that one LMAOO (not shitting on tweening u can do some really fuckin fun shit with it, like that shot of pk stabbing the lance sentry in toba the tura) i do overall prefer the look of frame by frame but i use a hybrid of the two!! theyre both super cool, complicated and fun in their own ways tbh.

heres some extra stuff, the fucked up looking timeline of my mama animatic and a look at some of the raw frames (hair lego pieces)

funniest part of my Animation process is wanting the hair and body to be paced differently so i have to slot the hair in like its a fuckin lego piece on a different layer. this truly was the hell of the mama animatic. theres also just an entire layer dedicated to mouths for lip syncing. very funny anyways thats about it, i hope this has been enlightening!! if you have any like super specific specific questions feel free to dm me! i dont have too much experience animating using an art program's animation features specifically tho, so i can't speak to those! i compile and pace all the frames on a timeline in sony vegas pro basically so csp is just for drawing each frame out for me!

“Did you make sure they suffered? How was that taser, need a higher voltage?” Jonah asked excitedly, opposite to Adam’s horrified reaction.

Adam turned around at his friend, and scolded at him, “Jonah! You’re not supposed to encourage them.”

“What? It would certainly get the FBI off of us.” Jonah said, his moral compass being tossed out the window a long time ago.

Cece and Mark watched as Adam was about to go off on Jonah before taking a breath and the anger extinguished. 

“I’m going to have to explain to all of you why killing people is a bad thing.” He grumbled.

“They weren’t good people Adam. I made sure of it.” Jonah protested.

“They’re still people Jojo. You still shouldn’t allowed them.” Adam sighed, already tired of everything.

Jonah just shrugged and looked expectantly at his two kids as Adam went into the car, to presumably go grab a rag to wash the blood off.

“Well?” He asked expectantly.

“The voltage was a bit overkill.” Malt started, with Cece nodding in agreement.

“It fried his nerves and nearly caused immediate cardiac arrest.” Cece added, wiping off the flaking blood of his knife. “Not really satisfying but it’s really strong.”

Jonah raised an eyebrow. “Alright. But did you make him suffer?”

“We made extra sure that he suffered.” Malt answered. “Spooked him on the first day by robbing his place and cutting off all the phone lines.”

“And?” 

“I walked outside his door while Malt was watching through the window.” Cece continued. “It only took him two days to crack instead of three.”

“His death wasn’t quick.” Malt said. “But it was very messy.”

Jonah nodded approvingly, despite his mind filling the implied gore ———————-

Misery Fell

Lusien stood on the balcony of the lighthouse, seemingly not caring about the intensity of the storm pouring overhead, and gazed out to sea. Things have been feeling different recently, a heaviness in the air that would fill anyone with a sense of dread... Anyone but the unsuspecting residents of the town. 

Those Who Slumber In The Deep had picked up on a presence - not here, not anywhere near the town at all, but still powerful enough to disturb their peaceful rest, - and they were angry. 

Supposedly this weather event affecting the town was unusual enough to be mentioned on the news, warning travelers that a once-in-a-lifetime storm is presently impacting Vernrot Harbour and to avoid the travel route at all costs. Every sailor who visited knew about and was prepared for the constant rain, but once this particular storm started building everyone was gone before the evening hit. Even the tourists who arrived precisely to see the town’s infamous ‘hauntings’ got the feeling that they were much too out of their depth and also left. It’s been a long time since the town was this quiet, all except for the distant wails from the creatures below and the ignorant residents still going about their daily lives. Not even the streets starting to flood could deter them. 

He had received brief correspondence from that organisation who helped out during the last incident, supposedly they had picked up an increase of eldritch activity in Vernrot. Lusien provided them with his observations of the town, its people, and the various entities in the area since the storm began, only to be told that there was nothing that could be done presently. He had a feeling that was the case, so long as whatever presence the horrorterrors had sensed stays far away from town they should presumably calm down on their own accord. Their way of thinking is generally incomprehensible, but at times it’s better to assume them to be more like a wild beast than an intelligent being - lashing out at the first sign of a threat.

The lighthouse, perched high on the hill on the outskirts of the town, will not flood. But the town itself could very well drown. Undoubtedly no one would want to see this happen, but with the residents so deeply under the town’s spell they may find themselves unable to care. Then who can quell the rage of the entities and creatures at risk of losing the same familiar streets and tidal areas they call home? 

He retreats indoors, locking the entrance to the balcony behind him, heads down the stairs, and into the living area. It’s too wet to keep a cigarette lit the moment he steps back outdoors, so he savours the few drags he can get in the few seconds between lighting up inside and opening the front door. A quick detour to the shed to retrieve some items he may need to collect ritual objects - a fishing rod, a shovel, and a knife are all tucked away into his modus - and then he sets off down the slippery steps towards the town.

After all, there are some things only he is capable of doing.

im imagining Harry waking up with no memories post-bender in Cloudbank and having to immediately go to the empty set and just being like. what the fuck is happening. he and Kim meet up outside and go in and find Sybil mid-Process, and/or some sort of evidence that the altercation went down? gets debrief from Kim about the previous disappearances, then try to track down Red and encounter the Process ....................... (vibrates really fast)

also consider the Shivers potential in Cloudbank. holy shit. thats my inland empire stat in de/transistor au. tell me your secrets cloudbank.......... how do you Work....

OOH yeah changing des plot into transistors would be super cool, i am Very Uncreative and have no ideas how but it sounds super cool plus the opportunities for transistors style on de characters is /mwah/ nice. also technological stuff
