opened my last department show at school tonight and not only one it one of the most incredible pieces of theatre i’ve ever had the privilege of working on as a dramaturg but also the weight of this being my final show within my phd program hit me like a freight train (which is why i am so honored to have a show this impactful as my final show like there is no high note as high as this)

not sure if anyone else has pointed this out yet, but im fairly certain that this promotional art for the fallout tv show is ai generated:

details of it below:

- the lines on her chestpiece are wonky and have that telltale ai crunch. the edge whrre they just stop in particular (bottom left) really gives it sway. one of the bottles (??) on her belt is missing a cork

- some of the wrinkles actively overlay each other in ways they shouldnt. mystery leatherbstrap coming in from behind that leads to nowhere?

Hey uh Metaphor soldiers you might want to be looking out for this. This is a really big deal ( mostly just to me ) !!!

Archipel is hands-down my favorite documentary channel, and for good reason ! They have astounding quality in visuals and audio, and their interviews are fantastic with great tone and pacing. They're focused on japanese creators in a good range of creative fields, and they've covered Persona, Catherine, Hashino-san and Soejima-san before ! ( though for some reason i never even entertained the notion of them doing one on Metaphor, and I AM GOING INSANE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW )

And best of all : their documentaries are available for free on youtube !! I highly recommend them, they're very inspiring !

The "and more" part has me really excited... It would be great for them to speak to Kazuma Koda ( from Nier ) and Ikuto Yamashita ( from Neon Genesis EVANGELION ) ! They could even get a cheeky comment from Yoko Taro ( who they've worked with before as well ! ) just for the sake of it !!

Ohhhhhhh it's gonna be so good !!! ^ normal feelings about a 10 to 40 minutes-long documentary that will not be released for many months yet to come

Personally I listen to league music for energy. I think this makes me a sociopath though

nah league of legends is a bad game with exceptional like... everything else. league's music is good, league's supplemental videos are good, league's characters and their backstories are good...

it's tragic, really, because league itself fucking sucks as a gameplay experience. and i have issues with Riot Games as a whole. Shit that good deserves to come from a franchise that's main draw isn't pay-to-win, unpleasant-to-play dogshit :( it like genuinely makes me sad.
