Maya: Supportive, and as a student of the art of cutting, she can give you free surgery.

Nadia Om: A woman who knows that women have it rough in life, yet also a woman who has benefitted from a horrible power structure and doesn't try to uplift other women. She is a TERF.

Incubus: Supportive, but only because he wants to manipulate you. Definitely not ally material.

Mammon: He's not transphobic per se, but he will forget a trans person's name and pronouns.

Solomon David: Supportive, but the paperwork and bureaucracy needed to legally change gender in the Celestial Empire is ENORMOUS. Also not available to immigrants.

Jadis: She already knows you are trans, therefore her allyship is irrelevant. Alternatively, she already knows she is transphobic, and that is a fact she can't change.

Jagganoth: Hates everyone equally.

ahhh ty anon i’m so excited about it!! sooo since it’s for the halloween horror fest, they won’t be falling in love exactly (which means i’m going to have to fight my natural urge to write freak sex -> feelings as usual lmao) but there will be some kind of horrible symbiotic obsession/oscar being held in lando’s thrall vibe… as for his appearance, i think he’ll look kinda like irl lando does when he occasionally comes across very woodland creature: strange pale eyes, sharp little teeth, weird slightly sickly glow to him. pearly sheen to his skin but in a way that makes him look slightly poisonous.

interestingly, i’m actually not sure what terminology i should use here because lando is a boydemon so actually he should be an incubus, not a succubus, HOWEVERRRR traditionally, the incubus wants to impregnate women, whereas the succubus (traditionally female) wants to collect semen to gain life force/power, which is much more how i imagine lando. so, bollocks to the gender of it all, i think: he’s a succubus.

soOOOOoo in the simplest sense this is a heavily constantine-inspired au. mark's an exorcist, oscar's his apprentice and............... lando is a succubus SHOCKING!

at that point the au sort of splits because i've barely written or planned it but i do know there is one version where it is just angst and smut and everything goes badly the whole time. lando feeds on oscar for ages before mark can do anything about it and then SOMEONE probably dies. not telling who (i don't know who)

the more plotty version? i guess? is a version where lando is not a full incubus/succubus/whatever but a cambion, so... half! this version would regrettably require so much brain power to plot out but would involve oscar trying to save lando from some outside force and mark being like nOoooOoo we have to get rid of the demons not help them noooo and oscar's like but i LIIIIKE him and lando is like [vague hissing noises] probably

For as long as you could remember, the club you worked at was always packed, booked, and busy on Halloween nights. How could it not be? A decent enough drink at a less-than-decent establishment with a pretty bad good chance of going home with someone you’ll forget in the next twenty-four hours? What could be better this time of year?

The line already started to curve around the block, with girlfriends dragging along their boyfriends, girl friends having a fun night out with their girl friends, and lonely twenty-somethings just wanting to get their rocks off. You rolled your eyes at the sight as you slipped through the “employee’s only” entrance and dropped your bag inside your locker in the backroom lounge. 

The place was damp, the neon lights were shitty, the bar was sticky with gum and drinks you couldn’t quite scrub out, and the walls were covered in graffiti and scrawled-on phone numbers and who knows what else…but you couldn’t help but smile as you filed in behind your coworkers because it was home, your home for the past few years.

“Hey!” one of your coworkers yelled from across the room, calling your name and rushing towards you in a cloud of gold and glitter. “Where’s your costume? Kevin wanted all of us to get into the holiday spirit tonight.”

You dropped your bag into your locker before reaching inside and pulling out a plastic bag. As much as you loved your boss for tolerating you all these years and keeping you hired, he always had a flare for dramatics that was incredibly extra. He had texted every one of your coworkers that you were required to dress up for tonight’s holiday festivities and then proceeded to - at least, to your knowledge - doused the insides of the club with so many cheap Halloween decorations that you’re sure he ran the local party store fresh out of their stock for the next year.

“I know, Cynthia,” you told her, pulling out a small wire halo and angel wings covered in white and silver feathers. “Can’t you tell what I’m gonna be?” You plastered on a smile and gestured down to your all-white party dress and heels.

“You never wear all white, though…” She gasped. “Are you an angel?”

“Exactly, and you are…?”

“Cleopatra, silly!” she smiled, giving you a twirl, the glitter adorning her bodice and skin spreading everywhere. “I’m gonna be by the door handing out flyers and stuff for the dance competition later, so I gotta look cute and eye-catching somehow.”

Cynth gave you a wink before rushing back off to finish her makeup, her beaded headpiece clacking away and making you smile softly before you slipped on your own accessories over your “costume”. The heels you wore were just for show, after all, just for showing Kevin that you actually tried to put some effort in for tonight.

“Fucking hell,” you muttered, forcing a smile onto your face as you stumbled your way past your coworkers and through the back of the club, finally pulling back the curtain that lead into the main dancefloor.

The swirling neon spotlights damn near blinded you when you emerged, the DJ already setting up hisetlist for the night as mini pumpkin, ghost and other Halloween confettis absolutely littered the floor. There was orange and black confetti coming down from the ceiling, giant bat stickers on the walls, orange and green glowsticks linen the floors….there were even Halloween themed condoms in a cup by the bathrooms in case there were any rowdy couples who can’t keep it in their pants.

Kev really went all out this year, huh, but guess who has to clean all of this up later tonight, you thought to yourself, silently cursing your boss before taking your place behind the bar and pulling out the foam slides you always hid below the glasses, immediately slipping off your heels and sliding them on with a sigh of relief.

You always leave your space tidy and well-kept despite how crappy it may look at first glance; you always kept your glasses cleaned, your multiple bar towels ready for the multiple accidents that always seem to happen on the other side, your tumblers are always together and you always restock your various liquors weekly. It’s your home away from home, your place to control and dictate.

You were cleaning off some glasses nearby with one of your bar towels, trying to shoulder one side of your angel wings back onto place when the music really started to kick up, the bass hitting you all the way in the back just as the front doors opened and the flood of people started filling the space.

In a matter of minutes, both the main dancefloor and the smaller second floor were full of eager partygoers looking for a good time, the air around the bar already feeling hot and stuffy from the bodies packed against each other.

Speaking of, the bar was packed with people looking forward to their first drink out of many of the night, each person and group shouting off what drinks, cocktails and mocktails they wanted off the Halloween menu Kev had you create and memorize the week prior.

But you’ve always loved a challenge, and tonight proved no different.

You never knew what kind of people you were going to get as you threw your bar towel over your shoulder and began taking orders, jotting them down with the person’s description on the small notepad you kept in the side cabinet. Some nights it was mainly loners, drifters who couldn’t quite find their crowd, sometimes it was scared twenty-one year-olds getting dragged along with their older friends as they threw literally every high-alcohol content drink that you had down their throats, and other times it was creeps who couldn’t quite keep their eyes in their heads and their hands to themselves.

But something deep within your mind told you otherwise; it told you that tonight would be…different. Something told you that tonight would finally make you feel something.

Yeah, right, you scoffed, reaching for your glasses and getting ready for the long night ahead. Like that’ll ever happen.

It was an opportunity, and I looked at it as a way to help build something. But I was really more business than I was music. I liked R.E.M., the Smiths, that kind of stuff. Happy Walters, executive producer, Judgment Night soundtrack: I grew up in a little town in Indiana, so by the time music got to me it was pop music. It was just waiting for the moment that people besides Run-DMC would put it together. The whole rock-rap thing was already there. And Jay looked over at the Beastie Boys and said, “Yeah, why not?” He brings these three white boys in … and he says to Jay, nonchalantly, “Yo, Jay, you think these three guys could make a rap album. It was punk groups, metal groups and hip-hop in and out of this studio. Run-DMC recorded in a metal studio: Chung King House of Metal. And then we did “Walk This Way.” People say, “Yo, when Steven Tyler took that mic stand and knocked down that wall that was separating y’all? You were exactly everything Oscar imagined, and exactly the opposite.

A child of Man, a being of humans, tied to an Incubus, his own brother, might he add, which was insane by itself. Otto took no interest in mortals, ever. Why now?

The scent of your desperate fear and mounting panic waifed through the air. The very smell would attract all kinds of the most dangerous of beings, he had to be sure to stay close-

As soon as Oscar turned the corner of the street to continue running after you, he collided straight into an awaiting pair of clawed fingers-

“Otto!” He cried, catching sight of his brothers blood red eyes looking down at him before the tall Incubus realized who it was between his claws

“Oscar- what- what were you doing?!” Otto sputtered before feeling your hands grip the back of his shirt tighter, reminding him of what he had just witnessed happen. He was sure his younger brother could smell the anger rolling off of him, Oscar’s eyes still wide.

In all of their years alive, never had he seen or smelt Otto be this filled with rage, seething as if everything he loved had been ripped from his-

“I- I wanted to, you know, come see what she looked like! See what was so special! Then your little Pet started running, so I followed her to keep her safe!” Oscar whispered out, trying to catch a glimpse of you behind his brothers hulking form to make sure you were safe. The scent of your comfort and relaxation with Otto surprised him momentarily, mind racing at the implications but halted as Otto grabbed his attention once more as if oblivious to the decadent smell you were currently exuding.

This was dangerous, if Otto couldn't smell it but he could, other Incubi would as well-

“She was running away from you, brother.” Otto hissed, hand reaching out to grip his brothers collar, surprising Oscar silent.

The realization of Otto’s words hit Oscar like freezing water, wondering how stupid and irresponsible he had just been. Because of him, he could have killed you, Otto’s soulmate-

“Otto...” came your quiet voice behind the tall man, making the both of them refocus entirely on you, only for Otto and Oscar to be drowned in the smell of your sweet, sweet worry for the both of them. It didn’t help one bit that a twinge of attraction bled out with your worry, the sound of your heartbeat thumping loudly into the air.

Oscar felt the guilt radiate off his form, knowing every Incubus in a 100 feet radius would smell it too. Gods, he could have gotten you killed if other dangerous Incubi had found you first instead of Otto. They would have killed Otto and fought amongst themselves for the prospect to ra-

“Oscar, please-“ Otto muttered as he let go of his brother, hand rising instead to hide his eyes, the images Oscar had just accidentally broadcasted to him making his heart break.

“Are you both alright?” You asked, hand releasing his shirt to stand at his side, replacing your hand to rub his back as if to comfort him. A shock ran through the both of you, climbing up your spine in such intoxicating want, spreading heat deep within you like a wildfire.

You didn’t dare look at the unknown man before you that seemed to know Otto, gaze focusing instead on-

His eyes filled with dark need watched you, his beautiful platinum blond hair falling from behind his ear as he reached out slowly, hand hovering over your shoulder as if to test-

“I'm still very much here you know, and I can VERY well smell whatever uh... this is..” Oscar smirked as he spoke in their native language, watching as the two of you snapped out of whatever trance you had been under. He could smell Otto’s slight pinprick of sadness as you removed your hand from his body, looking away out of embarrassment.

The momentary peace didn’t last long as a man came out from between two buildings, eyes glo- that wasn’t a man...

“Oh, that’s bizarre, aren’t you both Oscar and Otto? Funny seeing you both here with this mortal, shes practically BEAMING!” The man asked as he advanced towards you, eyes shining a disgusting green. You barely had a chance to react as the other man, Oscar, gripped your forearms, pulling you close to his chest as Otto stood infront of you. What was this? What was going on? If only they spoke English, you could understand.

“Try and stay as calm as possible, people uh, like him, like fear.” Oscar whispered behind you with a thick accent, hesitating for a moment as he wondered if you had been informed what they were exactly. You mustn’t know, you wouldn’t have touched Otto so tenderly before, knowing that he was a Demon.

“Im sorry, Im trying.” You whispered back, voice shaking. The hesitation in Oscar’s voice made you pause before speaking, listening as he tried to find another term for his kind. Was it out of embarrassment, or humiliation perhaps?

You watched the Incubus try and grab Otto, inhuman teeth growing from the man’s mouth- It lasted a second, as if Otto’s hand barely left his side if you blinked too long, punching the man straight in his monstrous teeth.

“Yep, okay, time to go.” Oscar whispered as he turned you away, walking down the street to god-knows-where, arm over your shoulder. He kept glancing to where Otto lingered behind the both of you, watching out. They didn't seem to know that you knew what they were, and they didn’t seem to know either that you had been visited by their Ruler, remembering the way her eyes shined, exactly like the Incubus Otto had just punched.

“By the way, I'm Oscar, Otto’s younger brother. I apologize for scaring you earlier, I was... excited to meet you, you made great cookies.” Oscar said as he continued to walk, pulling you along with him politely. You didn’t protest, you didn’t know this part of town, glancing around quickly, a twinge of fear rising up your spine.

“Don’t worry, this is a common area of town for.. foreigners like us.” Oscar supplied rather quickly, pulling his hands from you as Otto strode up alongside of you, rubbing his bloody knuckles. He noticed you staring, both of you flaring red as you looked away.

After a moment in silence, as both men walked on each of your sides, they slowed as you all came to a quaint little home, cats swarming around their feet as they walked to the door.

The realization of what was going on hit you: they were inviting you to their home, their personal demon home.

Did Incubi live like humans? That was ridiculous to think, but the thought of the unknown ran a chill up your spine, stopping you in the middle of their front lawn.

This day, today, with their Ruler, the chase... The whole thing was too much, far too much to take in, to process, to accept-

“Breath, you’re okay.” Came Otto’s gentle voice, walking towards you slowly, hands out as if to appease a wild animal.

A loud meow surprised you, spooking you momentarily out of your emotional whirlwind, and you looked down, a little gray cat moving from between Otto’s legs and rubbing itself against your own. It kept crying, rubbing itself more and more, looking up at you in desperation for love. The man before you chuckled as he watched, bending down to scoop up the little thing in his arms and slowly moving closer to you, eyes filled with kindness.

“Would you like to pet him? I promise he is gentle. I rescued him some time ago and ever since, he requires CONSTANT love.” Otto whispered as he pet the gray cat in his arms, holding it like a little child as he came closer to you a bit more.

Your racing heart and frazzled mind settled onto one singular fact; no matter how scared you were of the uncharted path before you now, you knew that Otto would never cause you any harm, ever. No matter how accidental his imprint on you was, you felt drawn to him, as if everything was falling into place, as if he could save you, protect you, be THE ONE for you.

love reading drakengard 3 reviews and its like ‘wow i Hate it Worst one’ and its like 1 ppl who somehow managed to tolerate drakengard 1 with arguably the roughest gameplay of the series, and/or 2 ppl who like hate the particular things that make it its own weird little thing and its like babes? without that, this game IS just a 2nd rate hack and slash so WHY did u even try to play it if u hated the more notable/unique parts of the experience??
