after an injury ends their rodeo career, muse a returns to the small hometown they ran from years ago—broke, bruised, and desperate to avoid everyone, especially muse b: their older brother’s best friend and the cocky cowboy who once made teasing an art form. now running the local ranch, muse b offers muse a a job out of obligation—or so he says. but the more time they spend together, the more their old rivalry shifts: bickering turns into banter, tension into trust. beneath the sarcasm, muse a, scattered and sharp, starts to feel grounded again. and muse b, steady and sure, finds himself drawn to every messy, brilliant part of them.

muse a works part-time at the local flea market, some weeks they sell wares, some weeks they sell clothes, and some weeks they do tarot card readings and psychic analysis. muse b is straight-laced, but down on their luck. on a whim, muse b is suggestively sold to sit down and have their palm read. out of the blue, everything muse a foretold comes true and muse b comes back to thank them. muse a, however, is largely a fraud trying to get some extra cash on the side. and generally not the best person. but muse b is cute, and muse a loves the doting. this reading goes... a bit different: "it looks like your future says... wait... it looks like i'm seeing me in it? and cupid's arrows?" — muse b is skeptical, but muse a was right the first time?

okay  so  i  had  to  type  it  before  i  forget  it.

a  witness  protection  couple??  like  they  could  be  total  strangers,  exes,  friends,  ect.  but  they  both  could  have  witnessed  a  crime  (  that  could  or  could  not  be  related!  )  so  they  get  paired  in  witness  protection,  and  living  far  from  what  they  could  remember  about  their  old  lives.  having  new  identities  and  given  certain  restrictions.  bonus  points  if  it's  and  older  pairing.

multiverse type things -> muse a is a young upstart still figuring life out when a lab accident opens a portal, dropping muse b from another universe into their world. with no way back, muse a offers them shelter. but soon, muse b's body starts glitching — proof they don't belong. desperate to save them, muse a creates a fix: a ring that must be worn on muse b's ring finger to keep them stable.

mean girls -> muse a is from a foreign place-- different city, country, whatever-- but when they show up on the front steps of a new campus, they immediately get swept up in cliques, and of course, goes head to head with muse b-- the queen bee. they share multiple classes, and get stuck on a group project for the entire semester, forcing them to put their differences aside and work together... but it won't be easy.

euphoria -> muse a is on academic probation. muse b sells fake adderall (it actually does nothing) and writes english essays for cash. they meet in a college dorm stairwell at 2AM during finals week, both chain-smoking even though they pretended to quit. muse a’s life is an active dumpster fire. muse b's done an a-tier job of not getting attached to anyone for the past three years. but something about that one night sticks, and it becomes like routine to them. somewhere between the panic attacks, breakdowns, steamy post-party hookups… something starts to feel like home.

she's gotta have it -> muse a is an up-and-coming artist trying to carve out a name for themselves in the local scene-- they’re magnetic, unapologetically sexual, emotionally guarded. they don’t believe in labels—especially not on people, relationships, or their art. muse b isn’t like the others. they're a writer, assigned to write a cover story on muse a. they aren’t part of muse a’s usual rotation—but they linger. where others fall for muse a's charm, muse b challenges it. but they care in ways muse a doesn’t quite know how to receive. or reciprocate. yet.

me wanting a plot where a king of very high status falls for the "cursed" and "wicked" witch, rumored to be hideous but turns out to be beautiful ( rarely anyone knows of her beauty though as she doesn't show herself to the public much ) but because of her own status, the people knowing could be the cause of her death so the king and she explore their blossoming love in secret.

think forbidden love, steamy slow build romance, sneak and angst. just all the drama.

ok ok ok you know what fucking hits though? a prince(ss) x their bodyguard who is also a childhood friend/has always been around and they fight and bicker like siblings EXCEPT for this deep devotion they both have to each other and they assume it's just duty based bc the bodyguard has dedicated their life to protecting them !!! and the prince(ss) sees the bodyguard as ~ theirs ~ but it's all just covering up deep-seeded love for each other and one or both of them is too stupid to see it :' )

superhero plots - gimme superhero things, villains and heroes getting tangled up in webs of angst, drama and mayhem! give me the superhero/villain trying to live a normal life and not acing it!

modern day mythology - gimme greek/roman deities and demigods causing chaos in the modern world!

historical plots - medieval plots and/or medieval fantasy are always a vibe!

supernatural plots - kinda would die for a fun centuries-old toxic exes plot with vampire muses!

fandom plots - absolutely overflowing with muse for fandom plots so please hmu for plots in any of the following fandoms: marvel, dc, star wars, the hunger games, maze runner, twilight, game of thrones, dune, house of the dragon, a song of ice and fire, and harry potter (anti jkrowling)

pretty little liars - after a life-altering party and a blurry night, muse a and muse b share a secret that could ruin lives... except someone else knows—and they’re playing a dangerous game of exposure.

cruel intentions - muse a and muse b make a bet: seduce and ruin someone for fun. but one of them catches real feelings… and the other doesn’t stop playing.

bodies bodies bodies - a group of college students gather for a hurricane party in a mansion. muse a and muse b are exes who haven’t seen each other in months. when a party game turns deadly, they have to survive the night—and each other.
