Quarterback (1)
Tumblr media
Ryujin knows she has no right to be jealous, she absolutely has no right to act how she is right now. You guys weren't even officially yet but she at least thought that the two of you were 'coupley' enough for others to back off
But clearly, she wasn't obvious enough in how you were hers.
Because now she's sat on the bleachers, being sent off the pitch at practice by the captain after getting into a physical altercation with her own teammate, who didn't actually do anything but comment on her bad pass and it led to a punch to the teammate and a punch to her back.
And now her knuckles are forming bruises as she grumbles to herself, at this point she's sure she looks insane. She tried, like really tried to look at anything else but you and Heejin, of course, it was her, as she corned you against the metal fence at the edge of the field as you both talked about god knows what, Ryujin was actually glad she wasn't within ear shot but everyone and their mothers were in eyeshot.
Heejin was the captain of the basketball team so why the hell was she out here?
She was meant to be in the gymnasium not out here talking to you, so close to you, and Ryujin had noticed the looks you would get from her (and others) whenever you would wander into their lockerroom (the cheerleaders had their own and she thrived knowing you just wanted to see her that bad)
After what felt like an eternity to her (in reality, it couldn't have been more than five minutes) another member of the basketball team came out, one Ryujin didn't recognise but the jersey she wore gave it away, she tapped on Heejin's shoulder and she excused herself from you and left.
Ryujin's attention was drawn away whenever the whistle of her captain shrilled through the air, half-time break, she knew she had at least ten minutes before she was needed back ineye-shot of her captain so she made her way over to you.
You didn't see her coming, you knew she was here but Heejin came up as soon as you were about to go to her and quizzed you about the shared class you had that she fell asleep in and what the hell the assignment was for tomorrow.
You were staring down at your phone trying to find the notes and pictures of the whiteboard you had taken to send to her but your phone was hit out of your hand and you looked up, angry.
"Ryu? what the fuc-"
She grabbed your wrist that hadn't moved from where your phone once was, she used it to push you back against the fence roughly.
"Why were you talking to her, huh? are you that bored of me already? running off to other girls now, is that it?" she was furious, she had a right to be, you changed her for the better, she loved you (but she was keeping that to herself for now) all she thought about was you and other girls didn't even exist to her at this point and now you've got her wrapped around your finger you thought it was okay to play around with other girls?
You scoffed, she was reminding you of the girls she used to play with and how they'd react when she moved on.
"Wh-what? Ryu, I was getting her the notes from class?" You moved one of your hands up to grip the loose jersey and pull her down to meet your lips, in an attempt to give her some reassurance.
She accepted it, and of course, she did, she was obsessed with everything you did but she didn't believe you.
"I'm sure you were, she was practically eye-fucking you, you knew I was here too, you wanted to piss me off right?" She pushed you further into the fence, and the metal pattern started to dig uncomfortably into your back.
You weakly moved your hand to cup her jaw
"Ryu baby, please just calm down, she has a girlfriend and I have you."
She leaned into your palm and leaned down again to press a kiss against your lips and when you break the kiss and lean back against the fence she still was her eyes closed and a smile plastered on her face.
She leans back in to give you a more heated kiss, hands flying to your hips and squeezing so hard that it'll for sure leave bruises. Her tongue begins to tease your lower lip and you open your mouth and let her toy with your tongue and suck on it slightly before pressing harder into your mouth and reaching her hands down to your ass and squeezing and slapping lightly.
You moan into her mouth and she smirks you can feel it against your mouth. It didn't last long enough as you got snapped back into reality when you heard the shrill whistle blow from Ryujin's captain but apparently, she didn't hear it.
She just continues to press into your mouth, growling almost as she gropes your ass harder and eventually drops her head down to your neck and bites down before licking over the mark.
Your hands against her shoulders are a sign she needed to stop. She takes a step back and smiles a lovesick smile.
'Shin! get your ass back on the bench now!' the captain yells and Ryujin leaves a last kiss on your forehead before jogging back to the pitch as you fixed your outfit and walked back to your cheer team.
Maybe this was just not Ryujin's day. She had just finished her after-practice shower and was back at her locker as she got dressed. She usually joined in on the lockerroom gossip but she was too busy thinking about you, she was still hard from your quick makeout an hour ago and all she could think about was going back to you and what she would do to you tonight.
She overheard Sooyoung and Hyeju talking, about girls, as they usually did and she would always just droned it out but something caught her ear this time.
She was a couple locker over so she heard their conversation loud and clear and she didn't like what she heard.
'Did you see her in that fucking skirt, God… I bet she's tight as shit.' Sooyoung bragged as she sprayed deodorant on herself. She knew Sooyoung was popular with the girls, she even had a thing for you a while back but she had an endless amount of girls and surely she was over you as you didn't give in easily like you did with Ryujin.
'I know dude,' Hyeju agreed as she pulled her shirt on over her head, 'She'll be at Yeji's party on Saturday sure, but you'll have to deal with me,' she smirked.
Sooyoung laughed and Ryujin had a suspicious feeling about this. 'I'm sure Y/N wouldn't mind us taking turns'
Ryujin slammed her locker closed. Not bothering to put a shirt on and just pulling her team jacket over unzipped, she made her way to Sooyoung and pushed her against her own locker. One hand grabbing her shirt collar.
'Shut the fuck up!' She growled, Sooyoung was taken aback at first but just smirked.
'What? She's a free spirit and from what I can tell she has a thing for jocks' she retorts.
"Leave her alone, got it?' she yelled at slammed her back again.
Sooyoung winced before raising her hands up in defence, Ryujin backed off and grabbed her gym bag and made her way to leave the locker room.
'Well, we'll see about that on Saturday shin.' One last comment from Sooyoung and Ryujin slammed the locker room door shut as she left.
It was Saturday night, Ryujin sat on your bed as you finished getting ready, putting your earrings in as she sat back and admired you. She really didn't want to go but it was important to you, Yeji is the captain of the cheer team and you were celebrating winning the latest competition.
But after hearing the comments her teammates made about you, she was more than willing to tag along. She made her way behind you after you put your second earring in and just looked over yourself in the mirror.
She grasped your hips and pressed a loving kiss to your neck and looked to the mirror where your eyes met hers.
'You look so gorgeous,' she murmured against your neck as she pressed another kiss there and you looked down shyly. 'Thank you, baby.'
Leaning down and picking your her jacket up to drape around her shoulders, turning around and placing your hands on her shoulders, she clearly had something on her mind but she gave you a quick kiss as you fixed her denim jacket.
“C’mon. Don’t wanna be late.”

I've been sharing articles I like over on Instagram, but I thought I'd share them here, too. With the news that Survival of the Thickest has been renewed for Season 2 (Yay!), I revised Ineye Komonibo's piece from Refinery29.
"Just when we were getting tired of the lack of body diversity and inclusion within the rom-com space, actress and comedian Michelle Buteau is bringing the big girls back to center stage with Survival of the Thickest, a Netflix series loosely adapted from her eponymous book of personal essays. Equal parts sexy, inspirational, and downright hilarious, Survival of the Thickest is exactly what the rom-com genre needs right now: a reminder that fat Black women exist and are thriving."

I want to info dump about some of the gods so I’m going to queue some of those up I think!
Starting with Oreik, the Annasolish/Common pantheon God of Treachery, Ambition, and Betrayal.
The original dark elf, Oreik was built from the spilled blood of the first Moon God, Morden Oeru, after he was slain by his companions Yalidil Rana and Ineyal Phor. Moon Elf/Yuenhüuian legend says that Oreik was born of Morden’s betrayal to the other two, but Dark Elf/Annasolish would say that Yalidil and Ineyale were the ones to attack Morden first.
Regardless of which is true, Morden’s death caused his moon, Honuon, to crumble and collapse into the world’s atmosphere. With the help of the warring exiled moon elves Iuin and Zhün, Oriek was able to save some of the Honuon natives before the moon became too unstable to return to, including Morden’s secret daughter, Ua. Oreik took the surviving population and fled with them to the world’s underground tunnel system, where neither moon could see them. There, he found them safety and a new start, and turned those who chose to follow him into the dark elves known today.
(Cont. under the cut)
Oreik is a controversial figure in history and legend. Annasolish culture follows Oreik as a savior and a hero who protected the people of the god he was born from in his stead, though they often leave out the rest of his domains when they worship him. For others, Oreik’s hand in the corruption and destruction of empires is impossible to overlook. Needless to say, as the god of betrayal and treachery, his role in the stories of some of the most villainous and nefarious figures in history is well known.
For most, Oreik’s teaching encourages striving for power regardless of the cost. Friends and family can be expendable, and others are merely pieces of the game you must learn to control and dispose of as it best serves you. He offers boons for those foolish enough to follow him that may aid in their goals, but Oreik is rarely one for favorites - as easily as he aids you, he may be aiding your foe to do the same.
He is a deity well known for showing up in person, a fan of conversing and toying with his friends and foes alike. If it’s not him, he often sends his close student Uzuenshai Ueltohüon, the Lesser God of Shadows and Assassins, to do his bidding for him.
For the Annasolish people, Oreik will always be their savior. Though his atrocious acts (often above ground) are impossible to ignore, they try their best to see the best in him. If he is to favor anyone, it’s the dark elves - his own creations and the descendants of the ones he originally saved thousands of years prior. Annasolish followers consider him their chief deity, and will defend him to the best of their ability from those who would only see Oreik as a villain. Because of that, Annasolish practice is often banned outside of the underground, and viewed as purposefully malicious and antagonistic - even if that’s not their intention.
For the few that manage to get close to him, Oreik is a deeply troubled individual. Torn between Morden’s desire to help his people and his inherent nature as the god of betrayal and treachery, Oreik is known for having hard streaks of mercilessness and unusual amounts of heart. In the same breath he works to ensure the safety of his people, he brings the end to others. His existence is a battle between what he is and what he wants - revenge and retribution for what Yalidil Rana did by turning on Morden, a reality he has been cursed to never speak of and that nobody believes in anyways.
In the end, Oreik’s goals stretch far beyond what he expects for his own existence, fighting to cultivate the most capable heroes to face a evil far stronger than he is, so that maybe his people may some day know peace.... even if he knows it will cost the life of him and many of his closest companions.

Story from UNBOTHERED
Angela Bassett Doesn’t Owe The Oscars A Thing — Not Even A Smile
INEYE KOMONIBO
LAST UPDATED MARCH 13, 2023, 11:53 AM
Tumblr media
PHOTO: GILBERT FLORES/VARIETY/GETTY IMAGES.
My expectations for this year’s Oscar Awards were low. After another long awards season of Hollywood doing what it does best — ignoring Black art — I wasn’t particularly looking forward to the show besides judging the celebrity fashions on the red carpet, watching Rihanna perform live (Twice in one month? What a time to be alive!), and getting these tweets off. Still, the promise of Angela “Thee Original Thespian” Bassett doing the thing and finally getting the Oscar she’s  long been due for her powerful performance as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever fueled me. Dressed in a gorgeous purple Moschino gown, Bassett looked every bit of the Wakandan royalty she brought to life (and – spoiler – death) just months ago. I just knew that this was going to be her night.
Sigh.
In the stacked category of Best Supporting Actress, it was Jamie Lee Curtis who walked away with the Oscar for her role in the box office giant Everything Everywhere All At Once. Curtis’ win was a surprise. Besides Bassett, Curtis’ co-star Stephanie Hsu was the other fan favorite and natural shoe-in for the category, bringing audiences to tears as Michelle Yeoh’s daughter and nemesis in the A24 film (which also took home seven different Oscars, including Best Picture).
However, knowing the Academy’s history of excluding Black women and having read some of the blatantly and violently anti-Black rationale behind their votes, we shouldn’t have been surprised by Bassett’s snub. (Days before the awards show took place, several nameless trolls within the voting body freely discussed their resentment towards the Black actors and directors in EW’s annual secret ballot reveal. One voter’s beef with Bassett’s Wakanda Forever performance? “It's a comic book, and she was a comic book character.” How astute.) Nonetheless, the loss still stung. When Bassett’s name wasn’t called, the fans weren’t the only people taken aback. Most of her fellow nominees offered up big smiles and overeager cheers, but Bassett’s face fell, and you could very clearly see the disappointment in her eyes. She couldn't mask the fact that her feelings were hurt — and she shouldn’t have had to.
Hawk-eyed Oscars viewers took notice of the actress’ crestfallen reaction, and unfortunately, some actually took it upon themselves to try to teach her a lesson in etiquette. (Before you even ask: yes, they were.) Many people on social media took issue with the fact that Bassett didn’t stand to applaud for Curtis or fake a smile in the moment. Some jumped at the chance to call her a “sore loser,” suggesting that her very human reaction was more about ego and “entitlement.” Let them and the racist anonymous Academy voters tell it, Bassett should’ve been thankful just to be included in the nominations.
Here’s the thing: losing sucks. No matter what field or industry you’re in, no matter which way you look at it, not winning is a crappy feeling, and it doesn’t get easier the older you are or the longer you’ve been in the game. In Bassett’s case, it probably feels even worse because it’s yet another slap in the face. After an awards season (there are multiple other award shows that lead up to the Oscars and act as predictors of the winners) where Bassett was the clear favorite, her omission from the winners’ circle is even more frustrating. It’s a reminder that no matter how talented she is — and she is so talented — her work may  never be good enough for this establishment.
Bassett has been working in Hollywood since the late 1980s, becoming a household name through the success of projects like Boyz in the Hood, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, What’s Love Got to Do with It, The Jacksons: The American Dream, Malcolm X, Waiting to Exhale, and countless others. Her work, just like her beauty, is timeless, and it has always been excellent, no matter the role. Yet, in these almost 40 years of consistently incredible performances, Bassett has been overlooked by the Academy. It’s hard to wrap my mind around it, but with hundreds of acting creditsunder her belt, she has never won an Oscar. Not a single one.
The Hollywood veteran has been candidly optimistic about the trajectory of her career and the fact that she doesn’t have an Oscar yet. We may feel that she should have won in for What’s Love Got to Do with It — a portrayal so convincing that a whole generation was convinced that Bassett was Tina Turner — and should have at least been nominated for several more roles over the years, but Bassett hasn’t taken it too personally. In a recent interview with CBS’ Gayle King, the actress shrugged off the losses and chalked them up to fate.
"Of course, in the moment you're hoping and praying and wishing, but I never walk away thinking I've been robbed,” Bassett shared. "That's too negative of an emotion to carry with me for the rest of my life. I choose to believe there was a reason why it didn't happen."
That typically sunny outlook and the humility that she projects despite literally being Angela Bassett makes this loss (and the subsequent negative discourse about her response to it) feel especially egregious. Following the global success of Black Panther, the stakes for its sequel were sky high, and the cast and crew of the Marvel Cinematic Universe knew that picking up the story of one of the most beloved superheroes of our time without our real-life hero would be a Herculean task. But Ryan Coogler and the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever were up for the challenge and exceeded expectations by telling a new kind of superhero story. From its soundtrack to its historic Oscar-winning costuming, every single aspect of the film was moving, but Bassett’s performance as the grieving Queen Ramonda was especially poignant; her grief-stricken throne room monologue shook audiences to their core. (Months later, we stillhaven’t forgiven Ryan Coogler for what he did.) Her final act as the Wakandan matriarch was so impactful that it made history, earning the MCU its first ever Oscar nomination for acting — a significant achievement considering the industry’s snobbery towards the superhero genre. With her performance, the MCU was finally seen as real cinema, as real art.
Given the heavy lifting Bassett did for her film, for the genre, and for Hollywood with her portrayal, it’s only natural for her to feel letdown by the loss at the Oscars. But in a space where Black art, feelings, and people aren’t a priority, she was demonized for a perfectly normal reaction. Interestingly enough, Bassett wasn’t the only loser in her category to not plaster on a smile after the announcement; The Banshees of Inisherin’s leading lady Kerry Condon was also noticeably stone-faced upon learning that she’d lost. And across other categories, many of the male nominees didn't crack a smile either. Yet Bassett’s facial expression is the only one being picked apart, criticized, and demonized. Wonder why that is.
Beyond my natural instinct to want to defend Bassett (that’s Muva!), I have so much empathy for her in that moment and in the conversation that resulted from it because I’ve been in her position. All Black women have. We know that society holds us to the highest standards while simultaneously leaving us no margin for error. Misogynoir demands that we always be the best and brightest in every room — the most talented, the most put together, the friendliest — but it also intentionally strips us of our humanity in the process. The emotions of Black women are rarely respected or taken into consideration within these spaces. Having a bad day at work and being quieter than usual? People take issue with it and single you out. Standing up for yourself in an unfair situation? You’re quick to be labeled “aggressive” or “intimidating.” Even when you’re on the opposite end of the emotional spectrum, happily doing your thing and feeling yourself á la Beyoncé, it’s a problem. They want to humble us in triumph and then ask us not to be human in defeat. The perpetual policing of our emotions is the reason why so many of us are constantly performing happiness and trying to be agreeable, even to our own detriment. It’s not about masking or trying to fit in; it’s about survival.
Angela Bassett was robbed at the 2023 Oscars, point blank period. It wasn’t the first snub, and knowing this industry’s thinly veiled resentment towards talented Black women, it unfortunately will likely not be the last. Even though she’s been rejected and ignored by the establishment time and time again, Bassett has never let it stop her from doing the work that she loves. She’s an artist through and through, a thespian dedicated to her craft, a maverick devoted to the culture. She does this because she’s passionate about it. And that love of telling stories — telling our stories — will always serve a purpose far more important than anything the Academy has to offer.
Still, before anything else, Bassett is a human being first. And while the Academy may owe her an Oscar or two (or five), she doesn't owe them a single thing. Not even a smile.
IN DEFENSE OF ANGELA BASSETT'S DISAPPOINTMENT

Is it easy to study abroad in the US? Let's talk about it...
Here are a few real-life scenarios involving individuals who all shared the same desire to study abroad in the US:
Name: Praise
Age: 28-year-old Nigerian Male
Education Background: Completed secondary school; and has also completed WAEC and NECO.
Goal: He wants to study abroad in the US.
Scenario: Praise applies for a US university and receives admission and along with a scholarship offer that would fully cover his annual tuition. Because of the scholarship, he is not required to show evidence of his ability to pay for the program by supplying a bank statement showing evidence of $40,000 usd. He is issued the required documentation to take the Nigerian embassy to receive a study visa for the US - however he is denied the visa because they said that he cannot prove "ties to Nigeria" that would demonstrate that he plans to return to Nigeria following his studies. He gathers documentation that he feels may demonstrate his ties to Nigeria but unfortunately he is unable to afford to pay the visa fee for a second time. Because of this Praise is unable to attempt the visa appointment again and ends of forfeiting the school admission and generous scholarship offered to him.
Name: Chioma
Age: 28-year-old Nigerian Female
Education Background: Completed secondary school; and has also completed WAEC and NECO.
Goal: She wants to study in the US.
Scenario: Chioma applies for a US university and receives admission contingent upon successful completion of the ACT entrance examination. Her aunt assists her by providing a bank statement showing evidence of $30,000 usd as required by the school to demonstrate her ability to pay for her academic program. She studies and even employs a tutor but unfortunately did not score very high on the ACT examination successfully and was unable to complete the admission.
Name: Kamsi
Age: 32-year-old Nigerian Male
Education Background: Did not complete secondary school; did not complete WAEC and NECO.
Goal: He wants to study in the US.
Scenario: Kamsi applies for admission at a US community college but since he did not complete his secondary education - he decides to get someone at the school to provide a fake school record. However, he is unaware that all US universities require official verification of transcripts through a 3rd party. Additionally, Kamsi did not complete the WAEC or NECO examinations which are also standard requirements for admission. Kamsi is also unable to provide a bank statements showing $30,000 usd to demonstrate his ability to pay for the academic program. He is subsequently denied admission to the college.
Name: Chimka
Age: 13-year-old Nigerian Male
Education Background: Enrolled in junior secondary school 3 (year 9)
Goal: He wants to study in the US.
Scenario: Chimka has big dreams of studying in the US so he appeals to a family member to help him. The family member contacts a local private school (K-12) to apply on behalf of Kamsi. Kamsi submits his academic records and teacher recommendations as required by the school. He also takes a secondary entrance examination to demonstrate his academic knowledge. He is granted admission plus a full scholarship by the school and then receives the papers required to obtain a visa at the local US embassy. Unfortunately, it took a very long time for Chimka to secure a visa appointment due to the long wait times and he misses the start date of his classes. When he visits the embassy he receives a contingent denial requiring that he submits 'updated documentation' from the school with a new school start date. Chimka requests the documentation from the school and sends it to the embassy. While he is late for school, he is granted the visa and is able to proceed to the US to begin his new future where he plans to reside with his family member.
Name: Ineye
Age: 22-year-old Nigerian Male
Education Background: Completed secondary school; also completed WAEC and NECO
Goal: He wants to study in the US.
Scenario: Ineye visits the US on a valid visitor visa and later decides he wants to begin studies at a local university. He submits his application and because of his age this particular university does not require that he complete an ACT or SAT entrance examination. He considers taking the entrance examination to increase the likelihood of admission and possibly a scholarship but decides that he will take his chances and opted not to take an entrance examination. He submits his secondary school records for evaluation by a third party. The results from the third party evaluation shows that he has 15 eligible credits that are the US course equivalent, but his grade point average is just short of the requirement to receive a scholarship. He is granted admission to the university but does not receive a scholarship so his mom provides for him a bank statement showing $40,000 usd to demonstrate his ability to pay for the classes. He received papers from the school but in order to obtain his visa, he has to leave and re-renter the country. He decides to return to Nigeria where he schedules an emergency visa appointment. He does this to expedite the scheduling so that he can arrive in time for his classes. He brings all of the required, up-to-date documentation to the appointment and is able to return to the US on a student visa to begin his new future.
All scenarios above are fictional and are based on real scenarios but use your imagination - we probably all know someone who has been in similar situations. My point is to show that life can be unpredictable and there is no magic formula that guarantees someone's ability to secure admission to a US university. Then you must face the next challenge which is the visa appointment process which can sometimes be very disappointing. Hopefully the scenarios above demonstrate the challenges one can face on their journey to study abroad. Plain and simple - there are no guarantees. This process is not for the weak. You must be patient, you must be diligent and most importantly you must be honest.
Please feel free to also share your experiences or experiences of someone that you know below.

@thephotographfilm was a good HEALTHY AND REALISTIC BLACK LOVE STORY as well. We need to stop allowing the media to scare us out of loving each other #blacklove Posted @withregram • @r29unbothered EDIT: This post was originally posted to Instagram with a different social title. Yall did not like that!! LOL, but if it's one thing we know about our followers, it's that they will check someone will they're wrong. And we are not above that; in fact, we fuckin love yall for that. BIG LOVE to our amazing writer @spiceghel. This take was 🔥fire just the way it is. <3⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ _⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ OG CAPTION: "It's literally just about two Black people falling in love. A plot this straightforward shouldn't be so groundbreaking in 2020, but the unfortunate reality is that Hollywood still shies away from such a basic, fool-proof concept when Black people are involved. In film, Black love stories seldom have the privilege of being just love stories — they're usually tinged with enough trauma to leave you more heartbroken than hopeful." — @spiceghel. Miss hirai was lurking
truly!! and her legs are as strong as ever omg.. only momo can go from the ground to standing so slowly without even like?? reacting? idk if you know what I mean but wow 😳
miss hirai just wanted to be apart of it aw.
oops i made this kinda sad ):
momo walking in on one of the mina with the saddest pout and whine asking why she wasn’t invited to watch a movie when she hears something from minas computer when she’s walking by 🥺
walking closer and totally disregarding the girl furrowing brows
momo sitting at the end of the bed and huffing with crossed arms "i wasn’t even busy and you didn’t even ask~!"
the girl half asleep but maybe momo doesn’t even notice,, she’s just staring at her face and into those pretty eyes she wants to see closer.
"momo-"
"no"
the whiny girl lays beside mina, pout still on pretty lips.
Mina smiles small, closing laptop and setting it on floor.
they end up starting at each other in melted away annoyance from face now soft and gazing.
she had missed mina.
Mina feels it warm chest seeing ineyes the way momo felt.
Mina had been a little more reserved since she came back, boundaries a little more blurred between the two but those feelings momo have linger through her heart and she feels them seep into own wordlessly.
Momo wants to touch her cheek but keeps hands bunched up at chest feeling, pumping heart.
she wants to tell mina she missed her but doesn’t know how mina would respond- doesn’t want mina getting upset.
Mina wonders if momos looking at her how she use to or if shes only seeing it because she wants her to.
they’re quiet and gazing- momo just a little more intense than mina. wanting to tell her just how much she missed her, how pretty she wants to tell her she is.
nayeon passes by minas door and stops, backtracking little noticing two figures, mouth a line pursed recognizing it’s momo.
she’s soft knocking on open door momo left open and calls out to her softer
"momo, come on sweetie"
mina looks away first and momo keeps gazing,, it’s getting a little much.
"momo.."
sigh small momo slides away from mina and off from bed towards door and towards nayeon, mina looking at nayeon they exchange small smiles before nayeon gently closes door
momo walks with nayeon and she’s sulky while they’re walking to nayeons room
nayeon sitting down first and gestures for momo to sit with her but momo screws her face up making nayeon sigh
"momo, c’mon baby.."
groaning momo sits with her and nayeon pulls her into arms, laying with her, momo looking at her briefly before rolling eyes "I don’t want to cuddle you.."
nayeon keeps her close "we need to give her space, sweetie.."
momo tearing up sighing, words slip quiet vibrating with emotion
"but I miss her.."
"I miss her too"
fingers run through momos hair and the girl softly sobs huffed snuggling closer
nayeon lets her cry
momo mumbling into nayeons chest "she’s so pretty.."
nayeon mumbling back agreement and kissing top of momos head,
"but we have to give her space, remember, baby?"
momo grumbles and snuggles even closer "I know.. sorry.."
nayeon smiles, playing with momos hair telling her it’s okay, trying not to let voice tremble, saying for her to get some sleep.
momo humming and eventually dozing off with thoughts of mina cuddled up in nayeons arms
nayeon sliding an arm from momo and sending mina message asking if she’s okay
mina responding with a yes and thank you
another message following
"i miss you both"

Me coming to grips that The Mad Queen Prophecy will probably come true and Jon will probably be the one to kill her. T_T
I love my gurl Daenerys but let’s take a look at this shit.
From an ethical standpoint, she is completely bankrupt. At the end of the day, she won't be changing the political situation in Westeros (Jon: "You're just more of the same."), since her rule would not be one of laws, but one of her own personal discretion...She uses brutal methods to enforce her worldview, and she has a messianic complex about her own actions, such as when she is appalled that the witch isn't grateful to her for stopping the Dothraki from raping her a fourth time. She wants to abolish slavery, yet she commands an army of slavers, and her closest ally was banished for slavery...She doesn't want to be blamed for her father's crimes, but she demands that allegiances to her family are recognized. She burns prisoners alive for refusing to fight alongside foreign invaders against their countrymen
-  Ineye Komonibo
Aerys II Targaryen—known as the Mad King burned Brandon and Rickard Stark
Daenerys had Killed  Randyll and Dickon Tarly for not bending the knee because they were Loyal and Honorable just not to her.
“He burned anyone who was against him,” Jaime said. “Before long, half the country was against him. Aerys saw traitors everywhere. So he had his pyromancers place caches of wildfire all over the city.”  - Jamie Lannister
Sadly the incestuous line that kept the bloodline pure, AKA Dragon Control also drove them mad. The Pros and Cons and a curse. It’s hard to see and blame Daenerys from becoming “Mad” all her life she tried to avoid being her father yet slowly but surely failing miserably by her actions, she truly wants to be a just and good ruler but goes about wrong. She runs on her emotions and combined with the lost of everything she holds dear she will spiral down to madness.
It sucks because we see it happen throughout the seasons, we get a glimpse of her being just and gives us hope that she can grow up not like her father than she does something drastic. It sucks because we see Fire and Ice meet and we want to cheer on for them! BUT that’s not how Game of Thrones works. Foolish to even try to be a hopeless romantic in this series when almost every ship in the books past and present has proved otherwise.
I think Jon will be the one to stop Daenerys and it will most likely be one of the most painful moments in his life, it’ll probably kill him to do it. To stop Daenerys from becoming her father but to be honest I wouldn’t want to see it any other way. They’re star crossed, they were meant to be and most likely meant to die as well.

Why Noviosense’s In-Eye Glucose Monitor Might Work Better Than Google’s
Illustration: NoviosenseNoviosense tear glucose sensor slips in right behind the lower eyelid.
For decades researchers have clamored to build a wearable, noninvasive glucose monitor. Such a device could help the millions of people living with diabetes track their glucose levels more closely, without the pain of pricking their skin with needles.
Scientists have tried tracking glucose in sweat,…
