This duo is to be the first of um, a lot of characters from the D&D game I DM for my friends to show up this month! Thrrasir is very, very queer, lol. These two are a couple, and actually the first confirmed couple introduced in the game. Their inclusion here may come as a surprise to the players, since I don't actually remember if I've ever stated that Ingway and Michi are LGBTQ- if I didn't, surprise! I promise this has been canon literally for years, it just never had a reason to be mentioned directly in-story. Don't worry, some of the more out and loud Thrrasir NPCs are coming up later in the month!

How big is Titania's sewer system? The entire cast should be tripping over each other trying to murder those three old bitches

I personally prefer Japanese voices, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on those, but if you like English more, then that's fine too!

Oh this is a really cool question!! I am a connoisseur for both Eng and Jp Vas so I will provide both. Lmao Some of these are highly specific because some of these characters were lowkey blueprints 🙈 Though I'm curious about what other people would think!

Alberich:

His voice is soft, light, almost sweet tenor. It's gentle and very friendly, the kind that kids find soothing and approachable, but can go into a deep earthy tone when he wants to be serious.

Miyano Mamoru (Chrollo/Light Yagami)

Sieghardt:

His voice would be a very smooth, relaxing tenor, dark but very gentle.

I need to sit down and actually put some thought into my most recent character designs... I'm trying to design protags for when I eventually make Circle of Beasts into a comic. I know I want one of my two protags to be a rogue and I have a pretty specific vibe that I want to stick to, but while focusing very hard on not making him look too much like Ingway von Odin Sphere, I think I've accidentally made him look too much like the thief from octopath?? (Puts my head in my hands)

My theory with Odin:

Odin was so engrossed with being king, that he didn't let himself be a father. I'll explain:

Let's think of him as two different persons: "King Odin" and "Father Odin".

"King Odin" treated his children (minus Velvet, in which case "Father Odin" was the default one, because she looked like princess Ariel) as soldiers, even Ingway. When the boy used the Cauldron to save him, Odin only praised him as a king would do with a soldier.

We can see it more clearly with Griselda and Gwendolyn: when Griselda died, he only praised as he did with Ingway, then focusing on the next battle. Odin acted again as "King Odin" not as "Father Odin".

When Odin went to the Elrit forest to stop Gwendolyn and Velvet, it was because "Father Odin" was concerned that his daughters would kill each other.

When Brigan proposed to bring Velvet as a sacrifice to Wagner, "Father Odin" was half-defeated by "King Odin", that agreed to the sacrifice.

After that, When Odin told Gwendolyn to exit the throne room, both "King Odin" and "Father Odin" agreed, "King Odin" because he didn't want to look weak in front of a soldier, and "Father Odin", because, what kind of father would want to look weak in front of his child?

Then, when it was time to punish Gwendolyn, it was "King Odin" that talked and praised her and casted the spell. But I think it was all under the influence of "Father Odin". Why I think that? Because he just casted a Sleeping spell, not the love one. Because "Father Odin" didn't want to control his daughter. This was the first spark of "Father Odin" that he showed to Gwendolyn.

When Velvet confronted him, it was "King Odin" who first spoke, but, after the confrontation with king Valentine, and the comparation that Velvet made between the two, "King Odin" cracked, making "Father Odin" appear more.

Yes, when he made the deal with Oswald he was still "King Odin", but, after Oswald killed Wagner, Odin said: "The spear, the castle and...the other thing as well, are yours." The one talking that sentence was influenced by "Father Odin", who regretted using his own child as an object.

Then, when Oswald confronted him about that, "King Odin" came back as some kind of... Defense mechanism.

When Gwendolyn was kidnapped, it was "Father Odin" who went to Volkenon to save her.

Then, when Onyx talked to him, "King Odin" came back once again as a defense mechanism to hide the shame and regret he felt.

It's true that, in the next interaction he had with Gwendolyn, Odin showed only "King Odin" but it may be that it was so because he knew if he had shown to her "Father Odin", he would have shown her also all the shame and regret that he felt.

When Ingway was defeated, "Father Odin" wanted to say the truth about the twins, but "King Odin" stopped him.

Then, when Gwendolyn asked a way to go to the Netherworld, "King Odin" was furious that she denied him the ring, but, instead of crushing her, Odin agreed to the deal. Why? Because "Father Odin" saw the concern and seriousness in his daughter face, and he wanted to help her.

When Gwendolyn, after saving Oswald, refused still to give him the ring, "King Odin" was ready to strike, but upon hearing Oswald's words while defending Gwendolyn with his body, "Father Odin" took control. Yes, "King Odin" was still venting out, but he wasn't in control anymore. "Father Odin", noticing how Gwendolyn and Oswald looked at each other, decided to choose his daughter happiness. "Speak no more, disloyal one" were "King Odin"'s last words, but "I entrust my daughter to you" weren't the last words of "Father Odin".

From then on, Odin finished his days as "Father Odin", we can see it in the Armageddon, where his last words were words of apology spoken to Griselda, seconds before an Halja cutted his head off.
