Has a bit of powers from both her parents, can make portals and summon lightning, but she's still getting a handle on both. No known control over water yet, but has an affinity for sniffing out weather patterns. Loves rain showers, specifically standing in them.

Why Gohan Wears Glasses 👓

°DBS: Super Hero Spoilers°

I didn't mention anything about Gohan's eyesight improving with SSJ forms in my post about how DB characters use ki to go beyond their physical limit because I was unsure if Gohan actually needed to wear glasses or if he was just trying to look smart. Turns out Gohan does in fact need glasses.

Because Super Saiyan transformations raise the bodies physical limit to a higher physicality, this would also mean that this allows for a character with impared vision to have better eyesight when they transform. And that is exactly what Piccolo finds out.

This explains why he dropped the Potara Earring in the Buu saga too. It was thrown too fast and he couldn't see it well. His Ultimate form does not physically transform him like his Super Saiyan forms do. It only increases his base power beyond physical limits with ki (because increasing ki is how all DB characters break their limits).

Gohan has to use ki to sense his opponents, because his eyes cannot follow fights well when he is not in a SSJ form.

Characters use ki to enhance their physical capabilities in order to see someone's super speed movements. Sometimes they get caught up in the battle & forget to use their ki to aid their vision. Then, they end rely on their own physical capabilities instead.

This is why fighters sometimes have trouble following battles at first until they use their ki to sense the movements.

Examples Of Better Vision Due To Higher Physical Limits:

On Namek, Vegeta was the only one able to see Goku's movements due to having a higher physical limit after recieving a zenkai boost.

When fighting 2nd Freeza, Vegeta was incapable of seeing Freeza's movements with his own eyes. (Krillin used ki to sense Freeza's movements & managed to move quick enough to save Dende.)

After Vegeta's physical limit was increased from another zenkai boost, he was the only one capable of seeing Final Form Freeza's movements. But, he soon learns that Freeza was holding back his true power & is overwhelmed.

These instances with Vegeta is what made me wonder if Gohan's vision increased with his Super Saiyan transformation.

Then, DBS: Super Hero gave me the confirmation that I needed.

With Zenkai boosts, the physical limit can only get so high for each individual Saiyan. For Gohan, he had reached his physical limit in the Buu saga and he still couldn't see well enough to catch the Potara Earring.

Then, we are shown that Gohan needs to wear glasses after the Buu saga.

This is kinda cool & funny to me because Gohan is so strong, yet he still needs to wear glasses lol.

Another likely reason that Gohan needs to wear glasses is because impared vision can be hereditary. Ox King has impared vision & so does his grandson.

Hello. I (15nb) have many diverse original characters. Many of them have anxiety, ADHD, and/or Autism. I have all three disorders, so it's generally accepted that I can make characters like that. However, one of my characters who we'll call G, has a particularly unique backstory, that I think DID or OSDD could fit very well into. However, I do not have any type of dissociative disorder myself, so I am concerned that if I try to make a character like this I could portray the disorder innacurately and/or offend people with it simply based off the potential misrepresentation Thought I would ask this early on just in case. From what I'm seeing on tumblr (i havent watched any of his recent streams so i might be innacurate there), Bad's been getting a lot of admin npc interactions and mini events etc and like, good for him, for sure, but it still makes me supremely uncomfortable to know that some admins are just... able to do that?

Yes, if they weren't there, Bad would probably not have as much fun and the server would be kinda dead but that's to be expected? Also, why did I read that some eggs connected for Bads birthday? Did I read it wrong/misinterpret it? That's just really really strange to me. Esp when the latest news we got were of admins resigning after radio silence. I hope they're not all stuck in radio silence anymore but yeah, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

From my point of view, it feels like only the high ranking admins are allowed to have fun while all their (ex) colleagues are ignored and have to watch from the sideline.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they started negotiating behind the scenes or something, maybe some egg admins were allowed back in, but we have no info so I can't help feeling pessimistic.

Q. I am very tired from the minigames in the story stage. Is it possible to add a pass function or difficulty relief function after failing more than a few times? A: In World 18, we applied a system that lowers the difficulty level according to the player's choice when failing to clear some activities, and  we plan to continuously expand the scope of application. In the future, we are also considering introducing a main world format that presents a separate challenge difficulty after trying the basic difficulty like a short story collection.

Q. When re-entering after the end of the stage, can you mark the locations of the star pieces, purple coins, and treasures acquired on the map? A: [...] Rather than displaying it directly, we are discussing how to apply it sequentially starting from World 1 in the third quarter after opening World 19 by displaying a notification when approaching unacquired Star Pieces/Purple Coins, etc.

Q. How far has the overall story of Guardian Tales progressed, and has  the ending of the story already been planned? A: From the beginning of Guardian Tales to the end, the overall outline of the story is planned. It is difficult to officially tell how far this story has progressed, but there are still more stories to be told, and we will do our best until the end to ensure that no story is missed in the process of rushing toward the final chapter.

Q. Will it be possible to change some sub-quests that are less immersive? A: Content that has already been opened is also being reviewed and adjusted in various ways. However, we want to maintain the overall form and content of the content. There were times when the development team felt a bit disappointed, but we would like to focus more on showing further improvements in the next content. However, since the proportions of the heroes are reduced and expressed in a somewhat cute way, we believe that it is not enough to represent the characteristics and images as representatively as the original painting. Although it is difficult to provide the SD version as a portrait, we are preparing it so that you can use it on the "profile page' that will be added in Season 3. The profile page can be decorated by attaching various stickers obtained through game play, and we aim to create a space where knights' achievements and personalities can be displayed within the game.

yes? was this in debate somewhere? I was under the assumption that this was common knowledge. no one single source should be where u get all of ur information from. u should always consider multiple texts and perspectives and theories when trying to understand most things, mental health included. reading the dsm alone and nothing else will never be able to give u a full and nuanced understanding of both the science and peoples lived experiences. but because it is succinct and accessible and the current medical standard its also important to know what it says because ur going to encounter ppl referencing it in almost all ur other reading, so its an easy place for ppl to start while keeping in mind that it isn't some kind of be all end all bible that can never be outdated or wrong or innacurate or biased
