Remember how Crowley pretended to be Aziraphale at the end of Season 1? Remember how Gabriel told 'Aziraphale' to "Shut your stupid mouth and die already!"?

Well, this was Crowley's reaction:

And so when Crowley and Gabriel talk in Season 2 and Crowley says:

why doesn’t anyone talk about aziracrow literally making out in the intro??

I just don’t understand cus the fandom talks about and obsesses over literally every detail but i’ve only ever seen like two posts talking about this. unfortunately I don’t have a photo of it but in the theatre part of the opening sequence Crowley and Aziraphale (or two people who look exactly like them) are making out in one of those theatre box thingys. I can’t see it as anyone else but maybe it was confirmed that it wasn’t them? Idk its so obvious to me and i’m just confused why no ones talking about it

Crowley and Aziraphale must have met in the 90s. Why? How? A rave! What? Bear with me.

The above image is from S1E4, when God talks about angels and demons dancing. It shows demons dancing in Hell. It looks VERY much like a warehouse rave. They’re certainly not dancing to bebop. So. Canon?

I’ve seen enough of Crowley to recognize quite a few subtle tells indicating he might have had a drYg habit at some point - this is not just Tennant being Tennant (in my opinion), I see Crowley do things many people who have done their fair share of stimulants often do, things Tennant’s other characters do not do. Crowley’s jaw positions and movements, how he walks, sniffles. Even if someone has long since stopped doing drYgs, these tells may still linger, because the brain has learned to do them reflexively to protect the mouth. Stims, for instance, will have you clenching your teeth, and if you don’t find a way to counteract that, you will have dental issues. Many people who are or were on stims have a sort of learned tic to never just let their jaws be “natural”, because natural means clenching. I know this from personal experience, and watching Crowley was kind of… Weird in that regard. I feel like a crazy person pointing it out, but for those of us with ✨pasts✨, I dare say it’s very obvious.

What did Crowley do during the 90s? He’s accounted for from 2008 to the Final 15, but from 1941 to 2008 all we know is that he smuggled things, that he knew people in show biz, that he was paranoid about other demons (hence holy water), hung out with criminals and was into disco. We know he’s a borderline alcoholic already - I’m here to claim our favorite serpent must have done a lot of drYgs. Specifically stims, judging by his tells, his personality, his preferences (six shots of espresso, hello). This headcanon is therapeutic for me, as - of course - I am heavily projecting. But don’t I have a point tho? Tell me if I’m being silly.

But! It got me thinking. And thinking got me writing. What if Crowley invited Aziraphale to a party in 1991? I mean, why not? Read my extremely graphic fic about them doing Ē at a warehouse rave before going home to yum each other from top to toe. The fic starts ✨here✨, and gets really gnarly🌶️HERE🌶️, towards the end of the third chapter (if you just want drYg-fueled smYt/fluff and no backstory).
