When the insomnia turns in to habit. I decline taking medication for my sleeping disorder because there are other - different methods to deal with this issue. You can do: Drink up. No, not alcohol, which can interfere with sleep. Herbal tea! Exercise . Physical activity can improve sleep, though researchers aren't completely sure why. Use melatonin supplements. Keep cool. Go dark. Listen calming music. Stop worrying. Let things go. Do not let bring past to your mind. When I was in the second grade, our spelling word was, "drunk." The teacher used it in a sentence, "Hey mom, I drunk the whole thing." Naturally, I corrected her grammar and wrote down, "drank," as the spelling word. And it was counted wrong and I had to spend the whole week practice the correct spelling of, "drunk" which I knew perfectly well how to spell, just because she chose a bad sentence. And then on the final test she again used it in the same sentence. And 32 years later I'm still stewing about it at 2:13 a.m. #insomniacproblems
