My take on a less “darkness swallows you whole” Watcher!Grian and more of a “may his thousand eyes (that i didn’t wanna draw) blind you” Grian.

I think making grian so bright and just..l colorless instead of making him have the hood ad dark wings get-up makes him a lot closer to a biblically accurate angel than what is usually considered a watcher, which has design elements from the Minecraft void. But yk the little stars n stuff in the void? That’s like a watcher’s eyes but in this case it’s a single watcher, it’s grian. Grian is as much the millions of stars in the sky as he is a single burning star.

Test 12- The Addition.

[A click is heard as the video begins, shown from the camera assumedly on the forehead of the body. The view is of a square-shaped room; littered with torn and broken machinery. The camera moves with the head, looking around the dimly-lit room. A masculine voice can be heard muttering.]

■■■■: Jeez… this isn't what I had in mind when that guy said they needed help testing…

[Suddenly, a loud buzz. The camera perks to see a door on the other side of the room slowly start to open. Shadows drift into the room, purple flecks of light coming off of the mist.]

■■■■: Whoa, what the fuck…

[The camera steps back as the Sable staggers into the room– its arms bound by sleeves and buckles and patches of its hair pressed against its skull by white metal sheets that encompass portions of its head. Two bare, metal appendages can be seen on its back, wing-like in appearance. The Sable seems to be struggling with the weight of the metal.]

■■■■: Wha… What is that thing?

[Its head snaps up to look at the camera, who flinches with a startled gasp. The heavy breathing of the Sable can be heard as the bladed plumes slowly start to spread, clicking and creaking audibly.]

■■■■: H-Hey, quit that! Hey!

[The camera blurs for a moment as it turns toward the observation window to the high left. The figures inside are unidentifiable. The camera is quick to look back at the Sable as it starts to creep toward them.]

■■■■: Shit! Get back!

[The camera backs away but doesn't get far before stopping. The pants of the Sable mix with snarls– a low, savage noise. It moves like a dazed predator– swaying with every step toward the camera.]

■■■■: Ugh… No no no, please! Don't do this! Ple—

[The camera's voice is cut off by its own shout of fear, the metal hands of the Sable's new appendages flashing out to grasp the camera's neck. It hits and bashes the camera against the steel wall, and a glint of purple light can be seen against a blade before it sinks into the camera's torso: a strangled cry of pain coming from the camera. The sound of blades entering in and out of wet flesh can be heard; unpracticed and frantic as it rips and cuts and bludgeons.]

[The camera falls to the floor, causing the footage and audio to shudder as it's thrown off its body by a particularly harsh strike to the head. The Sable's new appendages throw the mutilated corpse to the floor before falling to its knees; the metal parts of its apparatus still spread above it. It heaves and shivers, quietly but desperately calling to the Immaculate.]

FINALLY I CAN TLAK ABOUT MY DREAM

Okay so. it was before the recent pages, back when Gravel just brought Firebeetle back to the camp. except Firebeetle looked very weird, like pure white with only the light blue markings and tail having colors, but they were all neon and wrong colors. and where was blood, there was static and it kept changing like in real time. then you uploaded next pages, but those were just neon white glitched Firebeetle in like pure white background, glitching the hell out, bleeding static that was in fact moving/leaking despite it not being a gif and mutating? like each panel had him look off in different ways, like more eyes, eyes in wrong places, more limbs, bizarre limbs. and i think the pov was me looking at it throught my phone, and it was making my head hurt, it was like making static and buzzing in real life. and then you had to delete it and posted an announcement that someone apparently died?? due to radiation poisoning??? from looking at the new pages????? my dream head hurt so bad that i woke up soon after.

That is the sickest dream I’ve ever heard. First of all it’s an honor to have made an impact on people enough to invade their dreams, please do tell me if you ever have Aphidclan dreams again, but also second of all- i. I would do that, I would so totally do that, like as a horror artist lololol. If Aphidclan were more of a horror genre webcomic, that’s pretty damn similar to what I would literally do, that sounds like it’d be SO cool lol. Obviously no one would die from it if it were real, but I am loving this creepypasta-style, sorta analog horror, Lavender Town-esque image in my head

Tried to test out how to make simple animations with this one. I had to use godot 4 to make the animations because I dont know how to make 2d animations any other way.

The graphics are made with a mix of photobashing, 3d Models and digital art.

Now that I figured out the story I want to tell I am going to remake the 3 videos into 1 long (with long i mean like 4 mins) video with a more coherent narrative so the next episode is gonna take a while -_-

In the meantime I am going to post work in progress stuff and unrelated artwork

okay okay murder drones analog horror but through the works and videos body cams of the WDF so it starts off normal with an intake brief on responsibilities as a WDF member like building doors and standing guard and cracks a few jokes but by the next time it's incident reports of odd behavior and the disappearances from Doll with the prom but that's not out of the ordinary for us as fans but then it truly gets weird with a body cam video of a worker drone performing a check up on a drone who hasn't been seen in weeks but the video takes a stupidly dark turn as it verges off from normal solver ideas to "something is wrong" and the feed cuts suddenly only for the next one to be an emergency broadcast warning of something but it's so vague you can't quite understand what it's talking about until it's revealed the solver has evolved and mutated itself into something completely different and horrific and it is now Inside.

little doodle of star light, from @rainbott's welcome to dreamworld series! i got hyperfixated on it pretty quickly.

this isnt the best of quality, because i did it in a few hours while watching the series in the background (near the end i forgot it was an analogue horror and still had my headphones on...fun.)

i hate horror series but i like how this one is more catered to younger people and people with anxiety. it's still spooky, but i can tolerate it now.

oliver has gotta be my favorite character, he is ADORABLE and i love tvheaded characters in general. fuck everyone who touched any nonexistent hairs on his head!!!!!! grr

anyways yeah, expect maybe some more drawings soon, perhaps more if im done with art fight.
