Amazon Affiliate Listicle, but with my ADHD and propensity for swearing
So I'mma do a listicle of Amazon affiliate links just like every other place is doing for Prime Days.
I'm just gonna tell you ahead of time that I'm doing it for money and the sense of incredulity I feel about... Amazon as a whole.
🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
A Backbone, probably the most ridiculous gaming accessory I've ever seen. Yes, I'd like to use my phone as a controller for $35 more than a normal PS5 controller costs and have almost no other functionality!
I am ALL ABOUT BIDET ATTACHMENTS, okay, but this brand is so fucking overpriced. I'm not paying $77 to launch high-powdered water up my chocolate starfish, and I'm definitely not paying the normal $110. I WILL say that I've used this brand and it was good, but... Dudes. It's a stream of water to make wiping your ass easier. How much is that actually worth? This is a much better price for the exact same functions.
When I saw this set of movies, I didn't see that it was James Bond. Daniel Craig is wearing like a sweater, but I also didn't realize it was Daniel Craig. All I saw was CRAIG. This is, for some reason, absolutely fucking hilarious to me.
Instant Pot for $65, need I say more?
Okay I'm not even joking, this is just a pretty fucking decent price ($84) for a 1.5 TB microSD card.
If you have a 3D resin printer, today is the day to stock up: AnyCubic has some really good resin deals going on! I personally love the plant-based resin, but I've heard amazing things about their water-washable stuff. I wanna try the ultra-tough resin, though. (Note: this is UV resin so you don't have to actually use it in a 3D printer. You can use it in a mold too.)
Let's spend $50 to make a single cup of coffee at a time when I can make better coffee using a disposable tea bag. 🙄 The hatred I have for single-use coffee makers knows no bounds.
What you do is take about two regular spoons full of coffee grounds (another half a spoon if you like it harsh, half a spoon less if you like it light), put them in the tea bag. Put any other spices and flavorings you like in the bag too. Close it, and tie it closed really well (I wrap the strings around the top of the bag and tie them again when I've tied it.) steep for 5 minutes in a mug full of hot water (doesn't matter how it got hot), and then add milk or creamer depending on your preference. It will have less of an acidic bite and a better flavor profile.
I'm super into the idea of bleaching my tooth enamel until it rots away and my teeth are super white but extremely sensitive! Give it to me, Crest! Yeah Daddy!
If you DO want the tooth-brightening shit, you'll probably want to invest in a few tubes of Sensodyne. Trust me.
Oh, you eat Tide pods? Cool, cool, if you Wan a be like 2021 about it. I'm a dishwasher pod kid. Snack time.
OK no sarcasm, this shit will clean your washing machine so fuckin good. My daughter gave me some and suddenly none of us smell like Satan's asshole anymore. Fucking amazing.
Okay look, if you wanna get special pimple patches, go ahead, they're on sale today and they DO work, but they're just hydrocolloidal bandages. I get the regular ones bc I can cut them to shape.
Okay fullstop, I love the power mops Swiffer makes and this is a GREAT deal. Anyone wanna buy me a new mop? 😂
Oh shit, they have Naked mini-palettes for 40% off. That's $21 omg why am I a poor with expensive makeup taste??? WHY? (They also have the Stila liquid eyeliner on sale somewhere.)
Yes, sir? I'd like the biggest, widest computer monitor to ever exist. I'm a gamer, you see. A thousand dollars today, you say? What a deal! I'm a gamer! (Look, I have a gaming computer and a pretty big monitor but there's a fkn limit, Samsung. There's a line and you've crossed it.)
I almost didn't click on the "pet products" tab because I miss Ziva SO MUCH. But I do love pampering my pets. In that vein, WHO WANTS TO BUY A SHOCK COLLAR?
If you've ever needed 900 poop-scooping mini garbage bags... Today is your day. Time to shine.
Aw fuck, I found a pretty damn good deal on a cat tree.
If you don't have a 3D printer, you have to buy Settlers of Catan like a peon and it's on sale today.
I'm actually disappointed in myself how much I want this.
TICKET TO RIDE FOR UNDER $40.
If you wanna train your pet to talk these things are on sale.
For the low, low price of $98, you too can let your child kill themselves by improperly using a Zipline kit.
EXPLODING KITTENS FOR $10 AND I MEAN THE GAME NOT ACTUAL KITTENS BUT I GUESS HE HAS A SHOW NAMED THAT TOO?
As a general rule Raven and I don't buy Nerf products because they're owned by Hasbro and we're boycotting them because of the whole Pinkertons thing. Plus, in the world of foam dart guns they're actually doing the worst when it comes to innovation and performance. But! We will get them on clearance or secondhand. I consider Prime Day to be clearance, so have this multipack for a kid's party that I wish I'd had for Raven's birthday party last month.
Also, this translucent blaster.
I love this style of shorts (although I got the viral tiktok ones) but omg this one has POCKETS.
Today I discovered that there is a brand called THE GYM PEOPLE and they make really boring clothes.
Hey plus-sized ladies! Want yet another ugly beige bra? Look no further!
I have one of these mandolin slicers. Highly recommend.
Get your kids used to corporate surveillance with an Amazon Echo made just for them!
THESE ARE THE ONLY PENS I USE.
Amazon putting these under "off to college" is absolutely fucking hilarious to me.
I'm actually really bummed I don't have the money to get this Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Amazon knows what's up when it comes to kids: a five-pack of identical pants. I think it's for uniforms but like. Let's be real, kids just go through clothes like that.
Every time I see a Skullcandy product, I remember when I was at a Skullcandy booth at the Warped Tour and I asked the booth babe how they compared to Sennheiser or even Audio-Technica. She looked at me, and in a snooty voice, said, "I've never even heard of Sennheiser before."

Welcome To The Instant Pot Keto Affiliate Resource Page!

Understand the Keto Diet: Know the fundamentals of the ketogenic diet. It's a high-fat, moderate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet designed to induce ketosis, a metabolic state where your body burns fat for energy instead of carbohydrates.
Focus on Low-Carb, High-Fat Foods: Base your meals around low-carb, high-fat foods such as meats, fish, eggs, cheese, nuts, seeds, healthy oils (like olive oil or coconut oil), avocados, and low-carb vegetables (like leafy greens, broccoli, cauliflower).
Limit Carbohydrates: Keep your carb intake low, typically under 50 grams per day, although some individuals may need to aim for even fewer carbs to achieve ketosis. Avoid high-carb foods like bread, pasta, rice, sugary foods, and most fruits (some berries in moderation are usually okay).
Moderate Protein Intake: While protein is important, excessive protein can be converted into glucose in the body, potentially hindering ketosis. Consume a moderate amount of protein based on your individual needs.
get quick access to the smothie diet here
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially since the body tends to excrete more water and minerals on a ketogenic diet.
Incorporate Healthy Fats: Include healthy fats such as avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and coconut oil in your meals to reach the required fat intake.
Plan Meals and Snacks: Plan your meals and snacks in advance to ensure they align with the macronutrient ratios of the keto diet. This can help prevent impulsive, high-carb choices.
Read Labels: Pay attention to food labels, as some products may contain hidden carbs that could affect ketosis.
Be Patient: It might take some time for your body to adapt to ketosis, so be patient with the process. Some people experience the "keto flu" initially, with symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and irritability. These symptoms typically improve after the body adjusts.
Consult a Professional: Before starting any new diet, especially one as specific as keto, consider consulting with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian to ensure it's suitable for you and to get personalized guidance.
Track Progress: Consider keeping track of your food intake and ketone levels using apps or journals. This can help you understand how your body responds to different foods and track your progress.
Remember, the keto diet might not be suitable for everyone, and it's essential to approach it in a healthy and balanced way to ensure you're meeting your nutritional needs while following the dietary restrictions.

To make money you need to stop believing the lie
You may not want to hear it or even accept it as the truth, but we have all fallen victim to deceit on our quest for the perfect side hustle that promises instant wealth. Take a moment to reflect on the countless emails you have received, luring you with the promise of unimaginable riches if you simply follow their fool proof recipe. Now, ask yourself, did it actually work? These enticing emails would have you believe that making money is a walk in the park, but let me burst that bubble for you. The harsh reality is that making money is far from easy. It requires unwavering commitment and an immense amount of hard work. Now, I'm not saying that making money outside of your career is impossible. However, I must emphasize that this path is not as effortless as some would like you to believe. It's crucial to take the first step on your money-making journey by firmly rejecting all false promises of easy money. These empty promises have only been made by greedy individuals seeking to enrich themselves at your expense. Shift your perspective on how to generate income. The truth is that making money, like any other aspect of your life, requires discipline and mastery. This skill entails developing the ability to take calculated risks, committing and focusing on your goals, and being willing to put in long hours of work. Instead of solely focusing on making a quick profit, prioritize building a business that adds value to people's lives. Throughout the process of establishing your business, be prepared to persevere and make sacrifices without immediate rewards. Visualize your business as a seed that requires daily nurturing, even if you don't witness growth for an extended period. Similar to improving any other aspect of your life, achieving financial success takes time, commitment, hard work, and consistent effort. Don't anticipate substantial profits right from the start of launching your business. I'll repeat: the art of making money is like nurturing a delicate seed towards growth. Choose to nurture your business every day and keep your eyes fixed on the ultimate goal. While many may try to convince you that the road to financial success begins with selling products or engaging in affiliate marketing, the truth is that making money actually starts with building a network of people. Instead of solely focusing on these traditional methods, it is crucial to prioritize the development of a strong advertising list by offering something of value to potential customers. To truly succeed, it is essential to concentrate on improving skills that will benefit people in the long run. By providing solutions to their problems and offering comfort, individuals will be more inclined to invest in your products and services. Therefore, the foundation of your business should revolve around the question of how you can provide value to others. Embark on a journey of self-discovery to identify your unique skill set and talents, and find ways to transform them into valuable assets for others. This approach will ultimately lead you to the long-awaited pot of gold you have been searching for. Lastly, it is important to be prepared for a period of hard work without immediate results. Many individuals miss out on the pot of success because they give up too soon and revert to their old ways. However, by persistently putting in the effort, you will eventually reap the rewards you desire. In summary, the key to financial success lies in building a network of people rather than solely relying on selling products or engaging in affiliate marketing. By focusing on providing value and developing essential skills, you can create a business that truly benefits others. Additionally, it is crucial to remain dedicated and persistent, even during times when results may not be immediately visible. By following these principles, you will pave the way towards achieving your goals and finding the pot of success you have been seeking.

Loaded Corn Chowder
When fresh corn is in season, we enjoy it all kinds of ways… cold in Fiesta Corn Salad, charred in Cast Iron Skillet Corn, and of course, added to a big pot of Low Country Boil. Oh, and did I mention I use the cobs to make Corn Stock? Yep, nothing goes to waste in this kitchen… I remove the corn kernels from the cobs, use the cobs to make a flavorful stock, then use the stock to make this amazing Loaded Corn Chowder.
*The corn stock has to be made a head of time. Follow the directions below so you can have it ready before making this recipe.
Items used to make this recipe:

knorr chicken bouillon cubes https://amzn.to/3Yaa8Jb
vacuum sealer https://amzn.to/3DvEJHO

Loaded Corn Chowder
makes 8-12 servings
Printable Recipe
Ingredients
For the Corn Stock:
8 corn cobs, kernels removed
3 quarts water
pinch of salt
For the Chowder:
4 slices thick cut bacon, cut into small strips
1 1/2 cups diced yellow onion
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup diced celery
3 knorr chicken bouillon cubes
5-6 cups corn kernels (from 8 ears of corn)
2 cups diced Yukon gold potatoes
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (fresh or dried)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (fresh or dried)
Directions
To Make the Corn Stock:
In a 8-quart or larger stock pot, place naked corn cobs, salt, and 3 quarts of water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours.
Remove corn cobs from stock; discard cobs.
Bring corn stock to a boil and continue boiling until it reduced down to 4 cups of liquid. Use right away or chill for up to 5 days before proceeding to the chowder recipe.
To Make the Chowder:
In a 6-quart or larger stock pot, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crispy; remove cooked bacon from pan drippings and set aside until needed.
In the same stock pot, cook onions, carrots, and celery in the rendered bacon for 8-10 minutes or until the onions are translucent, stirring occasionally.
Add the reduced corn stock, diced potatoes, corn kernels, bouillon cubes, milk, cream, salt, black pepper, and ground cayenne (if using); heat until just under a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Remove from heat and stir in parsley, chives, and reserved bacon; stir well.
Taste and add more salt if needed. Allow leftovers to cool, then chill in airtight airtight container for up to 5 days. See notes below before you consider freezing.
Notes
Alternate corn stock directions using an Instant Pot or Slow Cooker can be found HERE. Whichever way you choose, reduce the finished corn stock down until it measures 4 cups - use the concentrated stock to make this chowder recipe.
Chowders containing potatoes and dairy don’t freeze well, but you can freeze blanched corn on the cob so you can make this recipe any time of the year. Alternatively, you can cut the corn kernels off the cob and make corn stock with the cobs, then freeze the corn kernels and stock separately until needed. For that matter, you could freeze this chowder before adding the potatoes, milk, or heavy cream (just add them on the day you want to serve the chowder, allowing enough time for the potatoes to simmer long enough to become tender).
To blanch corn on the cob, remove husks and silks. Boil cobs for 7-11 minutes (see suggested times below), then chill in iced water for the same length of time. Place in freezer bags and freeze for up to 1 year. Personally, I feel vacuum sealed bags offer a bit more protection than zip-top freezer bags.
small cobs - boil for 7 minutes; cool in ice water for 7 minutes.
medium cobs - boil for 9 minutes; cool in ice water for 9 minutes.
large cobs - boil for 11 minutes; cool in ice water for 11 minutes.

The BEST Pot Roast (Made 3 Ways!)
Tumblr media
This website may contain affiliate links and advertising so that we can provide recipes to you. Read my privacy policy.
Tumblr media
Fork-tender, melt-in-your-mouth pot roast with delicate potatoes and sweet carrots in a perfectly seasoned broth. This recipe is super simple but will make you feel like you’ve spent all day cooking. Nothing completes a Sunday pot roast like a fresh chopped salad and some homemade rolls. These perfect soft and buttery rolls or copycat Texas Roadhouse rolls should do the trick!
Tumblr media
Melt in Your Mouth Pot Roast
Not only is this melt in your mouth pot roast a quintessential Sunday meal, it’s also perfect for company or a special occasion! It’s just so easy. Prep it, throw it all together and at the end of the day you have a perfect sit-down dinner hearty enough to satisfy any appetite. Generously seasoned meat, coupled with onions and vegetables surrounded by a savory broth is just so heavenly. One of the best things about this roast is that it’s almost better the next day. It’s perfect for leftovers or to use for sandwiches, tacos or other hearty roast meals. It’s one of those dishes that you make once and can usually use at least twice. Perfect a hectic work week, and the whole family loves it! Win win! Pair it with these Instant Pot mashed potatoes for a quick and easy dinner the family will go crazy over.
Pot Roast Ingredients
I’ve given you three ways to cook the roast but the ingredients are all the same. It’s one of those hearty meals that brings everyone together around the table for good conversation and great memories. Exact measurements can be found below in the recipe card. - Olive Oil: You can use canola oil, but I like the extra bit of flavor the olive oil adds. - Chuck Roast: You’ll need a 3-4 pound roast. If your roast is much bigger, you’ll need to adjust the seasonings to accommodate so you have enough flavor. - Salt and Pepper: This is for generously seasoning the roast before searing. - Carrots: Use large carrots you have to cut yourself, they have so much more flavor than baby carrots. - Potatoes: The best potatoes for putting in a roast are yellow, golden or Yukon potatoes. - Onion: Yellow or white onions are flavorful but mellow enough to add flavor but not overpower. - Beef Broth: Make your own or buy prepackaged beef broth. - Red Wine: The alcohol will cook off and you’re left with flavor and tenderness. You can also substitute this with apple juice, cranberry juice or more beef broth. - Worcestershire Sauce: Boosts and intensifies the meaty flavor. - Garlic: Use fresh minced garlic for the best taste. - Onion and Garlic Powder: Adds the best savory flavor! - Salt and Pepper: This is to add to the sauce.
How to Make the Most Tender Roast
The wonderful thing about this pot roast recipe is that you can make it three different ways and end up with the same result any way you make it. The way of putting it together is the same for all three methods. So whether you use a slow cooker, pressure cooker, or the oven, it will always be fall-apart tender. - Sear: For the oven and slow cooker, heat the oil over medium high heat in a cast iron skillet or heavy frying pan. Then salt and pepper the roast generously. Once the oil starts to smoke, sear each side of the roast for 2-3 minutes to give it a nice dark brown crust. If using an Instant Pot use the sauté button. Wait until it says “hot” before adding the oil and once it smokes sear the roast on all sides. Then remove the roast from the instant pot. - Assemble: In the slow cooker, instant pot or a large casserole dish place the carrots, potatoes and onions into the bottom.  Next place the meat on top. In a small bowl combine the beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Then pour over the roast. - Cook: In the slow cooker, cook pot roast on low for 10 hours or till tender. In the Instant Pot cook on high for 60 minutes and natural release. For the oven, cover tightly with foil or a fitted oven safe lid and cook at 425 for ONLY 30 minutes then turn the oven down to 300 for 4-5 hours.
Tumblr media
Tips for the Best Pot Roast Here are a few extra tips to make your pot roast the talk of the neighborhood! This homemade pot roast is so tender and delicious, it may just be your new Sunday tradition! - It’s All About the Beef:  For that super tender pot roast it starts with the cut of meat. You want a cut that has lots of marbling. Which means it’s got lots of striations of fat running through it. This produces that amazing texture. Chuck roast is the ideal cut, but Brisket is another heavily marbled meat. Bottom or top round roasts are leaner and won’t be as tender. - Sear: Don’t skip this essential step. Searing the meat at a high temperature brings out the most flavor in the meat by caramelizing the natural sugars and brings out the savory flavor of the beef with it’s rich brown crust. It will also seal in those amazing juices. Make sure your pan is HOT. If your pan isn’t hot enough you will steam the meat which can actually make it tough. - Simplify: You can make the morning prep faster for yourself by prepping the veggies the night before. Place in a sealed container or bag in the fridge till morning. - Size: Size of meat and vegetables matter. If your roast is too large for your pan, pot or cooker you can cut it down to fit. Sear the cut pieces individually before adding them. Cut all the veggies to roughly the same size for even cooking. Chunk your onions don’t finely chop them. I find they give off more flavor and don’t turn to mush. - Low and Slow: To achieve the perfect tenderness it is always best to cook your roasts long and low. It will yield the best flavor and texture.
Tumblr media
Storing and Freezing Pot roast makes the BEST leftovers. You’re going to love having them on hand to heat up and enjoy throughout the week! - In the Refrigerator: Cool the roast and vegetables and store in an airtight container for up to 4 days. - In the Freezer: Freeze the pot roast in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat in a pan on the stove in it’s sauce or microwave.
Tumblr media
More Amazing Beef RecipesBeef is so tasty, hearty, and versatile. You’ll have to try out these other delicious recipes! They’re perfect for this chilly weather and will warm you up from the inside out. Find my full list of beef recipes here! To make in the slow cooker:In a large cast iron skillet heat the olive oil on medium high heat until it starts smoking. Salt and pepper each side of the roast and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side to give it a dark brown crust. In a 5 quart slow cooker add the carrots, potatoes, and onion. Place the roast on top. In a small bowl combine beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour over the top of the roast. Cook on low for 10 hours or until tender. Press the sauté button on the instant pot and wait for it to say “HOT”. Add in the olive oil. Salt and pepper the beef and slice the beef in half if it doesn’t fit. Working in batches, sear on each side for 2-3 minutes. Place the carrots, potato, and onion into the bottom of the instant pot. Place the meat on top. In a small bowl combine beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour over the top of the roast. Cook on high pressure for 60 minutes and then do a natural release. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large cast iron skillet heat the olive oil on medium high heat until it starts smoking. Salt and pepper each side of the roast and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side to give it a dark brown crust. In a large casserole dish add the carrots, potatoes, and onion. Place the roast on top. In a small bowl combine beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour over the top of the roast. Cover tightly and roast for 30 minutes. Turn the oven down to 300 degrees and allow to roast for 4-5 hours.
