New Year’s Eve Intention Jar

Blessed be, lovelies!

For my first post, I wanted to share the first spell jar I have ever created! I used some instructions I found on Pinterest and am in LOVE the finished product!

Let’s start out with our main ingredients!

🌙 A clean mason jar

🌙 A whole bay leaf

🌙 Sand and/or salt

🌙 2 candles (optional: carve a personalized sigil that states your intentions on both candles. They can be the same or different)

🌙 Twine

And now......

For the step-by-step instructions!!

🌙Lay a base, to ground your intent or incantion, using salt and/or sand.

I chose to use pink Himalayan salt rocks, to symbolize protection. I thought the color and chunky/grainy texture of the crushed salt would add a nice touch.

🌙 Add your desired ingredients.

Here’s a list of the ingredients I used, but feel free to use what speaks to you and your intentions.

-salt for protection.

-cloves for luck.

-rose petals for happiness

-crushed egg shells for strength.

-coins for wealth

-a scroll of a hand drawn sigil

🌙 Write your resolution on a whole bay leaf. Light your candle; your resolution will be your incantation.

🌙 Burn the leaf with the flame of your candle. Put the ashes into your jar.

🌙 Blow out the candle; seal the ends of your twine with the liquid wax. Pour the rest over top of your dry ingredients in the jar.

🌙 Drop the candle in the car as the last ingredient.

🌙 To seal your jar, wrap and tie the twine around the neck. Twist on your lid and then burn a candle until it burns out and wax runs down the side of the jar.

🌙 Bury your intention jar on New Year’s Day, in your front jar to attract all your intentions to you

And that’s it! It’s fairly easy but can hold a lot of intentions for 2020!
