ego is not what we think it is. ego is not a bad personality. ego is not a complete personality. ego is that element of ourselves which lets us know who we are. while our persona talks about which version of us we want others to see, ego talks about the us who either only we know or no one at all does. while persona is who we want to be, who want to be perceived as, ego is the sense of self, being aware of at least the minimal amount of ourselves. ego is the key of self protection. our ego knows who and what can hurt us, pain us and therefore acts like a defense. just like shadow is not about everything being dark, wrong and sinful, ego is not all about being narcissistic and prideful.

Like most songs I end up liking, I didn't vibe with D-Day right at first but it didn't actually take me as long as many others do. It's not exactly the kind of music I expected myself to like even 5 years ago but I'm so happy to have it now.

Interlude : Shadow is THE song that sold me on Singer!Yoongi. I still wasn't really vibing with much of the rapline during my journey into BTS but when I found this song, the chorus about not letting him shine is just so absolutely gut-wrenching that I couldn't resist.

I adored Amygdala from first listen, even before I read the lyrics. But I did keep myself from watching the mv for quite some time due to the warning and my own mental headspace at the time. I'd been unexpectedly effected by another mv right before it but in hindsight, I would have been fine. This is the absolute definition of beauty in tragedy for me.

Ha, I am indeed enjoying myself. I do not “hole myself up,” as you said, but I spend a lot of my time ferrying souls and spirits. It is nice to relax…

Ah, as for my universe’s Zygarde, there are multiple. I do believe that only one, the one mortals call “10%,” is considered my counterpart. Proteus is a busybody, they probably would’ve hated being cooped up here, he chuckles. I do think they could’ve attended if they wanted to, since they are merely the god of shapeshifting, but I digress. He pauses to think for a second. Assuming you meant the “complete” Zygarde, xey are way to busy to attend. As the god of order, it has much work to do… As for Artemis, he smiles, she is no socialite either. She despises parties and attention of most sorts. She originally had the invitation to this gala, but turned it down to spend more time with Sarah.
