USMLE and ADHD

I’m a medical student sitting the USMLE Step 1 next month (hopefully), just wondering if there are any others out there who’ve done so in the past? I’ve applied for the testing accommodations, but no idea if I’ll get them. The thought of taking a 7 hour long exam with only an hour of a break is causing so much nausea and terror in me (plus I’m extremely unconfident at this point of the knowledge I have). So any words of wisdom or ways to cope would be appreciated! :3

We have a tests tag that covers strategies for all kinds of exams. Additionally, I would advise you to bring lots of water and snacks (small ones that fit in your pocket), get a good night’s sleep for several nights before the test, and to not study the night before the test. By the night before the test, you already know all you could know, and studying in the evening will probably keep you awake and increase your anxiety.
