What is Inversion Method? Does The Inversion Method Work With Olive Oil?

The inversion method rests on the logic that hanging the head upside down improves blood flow to the hair follicles and promotes hair growth. While there is no scientific proof to support the inversion method, many people follow it. You may use extra virgin olive oil while following this method. To do it:
Massage the scalp and hair with olive oil for a few minutes.
Sit on a chair, bend forward, and hang your head below the knee level.
Hold the position for 5 minutes. Discontinue if you feel dizzy and nauseous.
Rinse your hair.
Follow the routine daily for a month.
Olive oil is extremely beneficial for your skin and hair, but it may have some adverse effects if not used mindfully.

Just hanging around on inversion table to help decompress disks and increase health of my spine. I've been using inversion for the last 15 years after a car accident left me with 7 disk herniations and a world of pain. Also being diagnosed with AS (anklosing spondylitis) in my 30's, (a disease where your spine actually fuses), I needed to keep my back in the best condition possible. Not only does it feel so good to feel the decompression, it helps hydrate your disks by diffusion. Anyone else have back issues that have stopped you from achieving your goal? Who else can relate to this? #inversion #inversionmethod #spine #spinehealth #mazzcorecoaching #personaltraining #perserverance . . . . . (at Glendale, Arizona)

Day 5. #nopoo . I woke up like this. Literally. 90's t-shirt an all. Maybe not as a Snapchat filter. Today is a bit of a struggle, some parts are frizzy, some parts are oily, and Wisconsin winters aren't helping me with all the crazy static. I got this though. It's wash day and I will be doing a mask as well... maybe... I also started the inversion method last night. #noshampoo #nopoochallenge #nopoomethod #inversionmethod #organic #naturalhair #haircare #longhairdontcare #longhairjourney

LADIES I FOUND A MAGICAL HAIR GROWTH ROUTINE!!
I am so excited I came across this method because it truly worked and in one week my hair grew half an inch of thick healthy hair!
It’s called the Inversion Method, which you can look up on youtube and follow but basically this is what you do:
For 7 days straight, once a month, (no longer or your hair will get used to it and stop growing essentially) you flip your head over (carefully) and massage your scalp while upside down for 4-5 minutes. The blood rushing to your head plus massaging the scalp stimulates the hair follicles in your scalp to grow! Think about it...hair grows from the scalp, not the tips...which is why trimming your hair every 8 weeks really doesn’t help with growing! But you do want to make sure your ends aren’t dead or you will just keep growing hair on dead ends and it won’t look as healthy. I always say I would rather my hair be short and healthy, than long and dead! So if you sadly have dead ends, the only way is to cut it off first. But then once your hair is healthy, it won’t be long before it’ll grow,...especially with this inversion method!!
After the 4 minutes are up, slowly lift your head back up so you don’t get dizzy. Do this for 7 days straight and you should see half an inch to an inch of growth in just one week!! it is so easy and magical, I am going to do this every month!
A few more tips...
Coconut oil does wonders for your skin, hair and body. You can apply the oil to your scalp and massage like you would normally and just wash it out the next day. You may need to shampoo 2-3 times to really get the oil out. But it leaves your hair smoother and shinier and has been known to aid with hair growth! Or any other oil will work...argan oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil. Adding cinnamon is also supposed to aid in stimulating the follicles.
The reason I didn’t put the oil in everyday was because I didn’t want to wash my hair everyday....to have healthy hair..it is best to wash it every 3 days or every other day depending on how greasy your hair gets. So when I knew I was going to wash my hair the next day, I would put oil in it to go to bed, since it makes it extremely greasy looking. Just make sure you sleep with a towel on your pillow!
Another tip is after you shower, do not brush your hair with a normal brush, instead use a comb starting from mid to the ends to get the tangles out. Using a comb helps to avoid split ends while brushing wet hair!
Another tip for hair growth is to stay away from heat products (curling and straightening irons, blow dryers..etc) and to use scrunchies instead of tight elastic hair bands. Scrunchies don’t seem to make creases in hair as much and they are very stylish!
Good luck with the inversion method, I wish you all the best! I can’t wait to do this again next month since I had great results :)
Also..the inversion method can only be done for 7 days straight once a month, no longer, or your body will become accustomed to it and it won’t stimulate the hair follicles as much...just like a tolerance to something...however feel free to apply oil to your hair whenever you want...it won’t hurt it ! But the inverting your hair can only be done once a month. I wish you all the best!!
One last thing! A nice diy treatment to achieve thick, smooth and healthy hair...
mix 2 eggs (just added protein for hair growth) and 4 tablespoons of grapeseed oil and pour it over your head and massage it in. Leave that mixture in for an hour, then rinse it out with just water. Next apply coconut oil (or any hair growth oil) and massage in your head and leave for an hour as well, or even overnight. Then shampoo! I did this twice during my inversion method week 1 and I just loved the feeling of my hair afterwards and it is supposed to help with hair growth!
But if you don’t have time for your hair to look like a greasy mess, just do the inversion method before bed every night for 7 days! The results will be better if oil is added, but you should still see hair growth! Let me know if you have any questions or if you have tried this!!
Happy hair growth everyone!

Hair Journal
I need to wash my hair smh it’s filthy 😫 Was trying so hard to make a week of wearing out my natural hair, to give my hair some fresh air from the continuous protective styles under wigs and weaves 98% of the time, but we’ll take it day by day.. I keep hearing ladies talking about the success they’re getting using the Inversion Method. They would use an oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, or castor oil,(or any oil of your choice) massage it in their scalp and then hold their head upside down for a few minutes, everyday for only a week. They’re claiming to have gained an inch per month. As crazy as it may seem, I think that it’s worth trying out.. I’d most likely try it during spring break, since this semester is so hectic with 5 classes and my math professor completely sucks, so I gotta do extra work in that class smfh but that’s a whole different story 😤 I’ve been using Hairfinity on and off for a year, but it’s kinda expensive considering I’m a broke college student 😂 lmao but it honestly works!! I went from having 95% of my hair heat damaged at shoulder length to APL in 5 months. Even after I took a 4 month break after, it still continued to grow and I was able to cut all my heat damage off in less than a year, with my hair longer than when I first started taking Hairfinity. I was thinking maybe taking a Prenatal vitamin or a Vitamin B-Complex only because of financial reasons, but unsure if it would be as effective. Idk.. If anyone has any insight or ideas please feel free to hit me up!! ☺️
