What You Deserve

A/N- This is not actually part of the story, its a unused story that I spent a couple weeks writing so I didnt have the heart to delete it although I scrapped it from the original story line. So please know that I did use some of these scenes in my rewrite.

Summary- 5.7k Curtis Evertt and Y/N. Early Years. You sit with a dying member of the train and listen to her talk about her late husband, and the idea of Soulmates crosses your mind. Do they exist?

Warnings- Death, Almost a Non Con situation. Curtis having doubts that hes good enough. Boom, got them all I think.

You sat with the older woman, Sheri for some time that day, perched on the end of her bunk, one leg folded underneath you and one dangling over the edge, her hand interlaced with your own. Sheri was dying your mother informed you that morning, and you simply couldnt let her pass off all alone. Your fingers interlaced with hers in that moment, yours young soft and supple, to her knobby jointed ones, age spots sprinkled across what felt like paper thin softness, like you press to hard it would fall apart. Every now and then a weak wet cough would spring forth, and you would lean forward to pat her mouth softly of any spittle that happened to escape. It was the least you could do for her, try to let her keep her dignity.

“Child, you shouldnt be here watching this.” Sheri would sputter, hazy eyes narrowing at you, knowing you wouldnt leave even if she was to send you away.

You shrugged, and resettled the blankets. “Where else would I go Sheri? Mom and Dad have everything all set in the medic bay, and I got lonely. Who better to keep me company?”

She snorted and coughed once more, raising her hand to wipe at her mouth before you could. “Hmmm, well Curtis comes to mind.”

You blush a bit and look away, which she grinned seeing your lovesick reaction. “Uh huh... Sheri, hes just a friend. And hes got better things to do. Like getting ready with McGregor.” Sheri rolled her eyes at you, and shifted to make herself more comfortable. “Child, ive see the way you two look at one another. I might be old, Im not blind. If you two would just admit your feelings are more then friends, then who knows. Might be the best thing you ever experience. I remember when I told Nathan how I felt. He was all stumbling over his words, spilling it as well.”

You chuckle at her memory, remembering Nathan well when you first came on the train, he was fiercly protective of his wife, and doted on Sheri, loved her with his last breath. You encourage her to speak more of her past, how Nathan and her had a whirlwind romance that ended with the two of them eloping. How when her father found out, he banned her from the house, and the first home she shared with Nathan was nothing more then a room with a bathroom, it was all they needed to start. “It got better, he was accepted to a university, and worked as a janitor at night, I was a waitress in a small off the interstate diner, along with babysitting. It was hard, but we appreciated all that we had.” Sheris eyes slipped closed and she mumbled. “Okay, Im gonna nap now, come back later Y/N, and we will talk some more.” the womans head tipped to the side, and you stayed long enough to be sure she was sleeping.

Drawing your way out, you are sure to slide the curtain closed for her privacy, and start making another round to see to other people, chat with them, just see if they need anything in general. You dont notice the wandering eyes following you, weaving through the people till you got to a quiter part of the tail end. You didnt notice, not until its to late when an arm shoots out in front of you, making you pause momentarily as it blocked you. “What the... Eric, what do you want?” You try to duck under his arm, but the mans grasp on your arm pauses you. A glance his way showed a handsome young man, blond locks curling around green eyes, that glinted coldly at you, and he firmly without any choice of your own backed you against the wall. “See youve been playing little home nurse again Y/N”

“Just helping mom and dad, can you please let go?” You try tugging your arm from his grasp and his other hand came up to your face to trace the curve, obviously not ready to loosen his hold, for whatever reason you would clam up around him, your heart fluttering and your breath quickening. Some would think it was innocent attraction. But it was more fear of what he would eventually do to you if given the chance.

“When you going to let me kiss you huh? I dont see why you keep fighting me on this.” He hovered closer, his breath washing over your face and you wrinkle your nose at it. It was hot and sour to you, you tried to pull back but there was no where else to go, so the back of your head would thump against the cold metal wall.

“Im not, I dont want to and you cant change my mind.” You wriggle once more trying to get him to stop digging into your arm. “So how about you go find one of the other girls? I know there are plenty who want to be with you.”

“To easy, I rather like the one who denies me” His voice dropped deeper, making you panic sightly. His eyes, you hated the way he would stare at you, following you from wherever he was, like you were a prize to be had. "I figured it's about time I change your mind about it though." You strain out of his touch on your face and go to push against his chest to stumble him back.

"I said no! Fuck no would I ever be with you, let alone kiss you" you snap at him, turning to leave, put distance between you two, back in a crowd. Eric was to coward to try to anything with people around. He snarled though, wrapping an arm around you.

Effectively he pinned your arms helpless and your back against your chest, falling back harder then you expected, making you helpless, his hand clasped over your mouth, effectively muffling any protests you had. "What you think your to good for someone like me sweetheart. If your good enough to get Curtis's dick wet, think you can mine as well without this much of a fight." Your eyes widened at his words. I haven't, were not, stop... Your panic is washing over you, and he manipulated your head to fall back to his shoulder, lemmegolemmegolemmego, you try twisting out. Then he pressed his face in your neck, and bit you, what started as a sloppy kiss turned into a bruising bite, screaming at the shock of pain and you try kicking him hard enough in the leg behind you to drop him. The tread of your boot slid down the inside of his leg, and he pushed you away from him to crash you against the trains wall, hard enough to bounce you off, making you groan from the harsh impact.

Erics hand whipped you around, effectively pinning you with his body. No way to leverage a kick again, and hands pinned your arms down to keep from attacking. "Fucken shit head!" Your voice raised into yelling at him, where was everyone? It was eerily quiet and no one around, he smirked at your struggles, dawning on you when you saw how turned on, felt how turned on. That foreign bulge dug into your belly. "Keep struggling Y/N, just makes me hard for you, so cute thinking you don't want this."

"Your vile Eric, like those front end pigs" nothing but disgust dripping from your tone, trying to hide your fear. But he knows, it just widens his predatory grin knowing your words were masking the fear coursing through your veins. His lips hovered so close, mocking tone as he brushed them barely against yours, as you tried tilting your face away. “Come on Y/N, just one little kiss for me. Do it and I will let you go.”

You glare at him and spit, right in the fuckers face, it runs down his eyes and nose, and you smirk at him as he starts cussing and wiping his face on his sleeve. “You little fucken cunt whore! Nasty pig think you can get away with that shit?!” His hand releases you and goes to hit you when a grasp catches his wrist, wrenching it back. Both yours and Erics eyes go wide in surprise, and you see Curtis glowering behind him, firmly twisting Erics arm hard, then harder again he snarls out. “She sure as fuck is gonna get away with it. I think she told you no”

Curtis jerked Erics arm further and a crack was followed by Eric screaming and letting you go, you slid away from his grasp, Curtis jerking him forward to take where he had you pinned before. They were evenly matched in size, but Curtis had him crushed between his body and metal, his face distorted as you glanced up. It struck you in this moment just how opposite these two men were. Curtis never once raised his voice in the time youve known him,but he had to raise above Erics squealing out in pain and anger. “When a person tells you no, It fucken mean no. You owe Y/N an apology.” He pulled Eric off the wall, and kicked at the back of his knees to drop him in front of you.

Curtis loomed over him, his arm still firmly twisted up between his shoulder blades, and growled in the mans ear. “Say it, or Im going to wrench it right off your body.”

“Im sorry!” you could see the effort it took Eric to say it, but Curtis clearly wasnt satisfied.

“AGAIN!” This time he really roared, Eric cowering a bit, and remorseful, he started again.

“Im sorry Y/N, I promise to never touch you again!” Curtis glances at you and nods that its okay, he had him firmly and you stepped forward, grasping the mans hair, and tipping his head back.

“Touch me ever again, or ANYONE on this train, your dead, do you hear me Eric? I will have no problem watching you die, either by my hand or another. Am. I. Fucking. CLEAR?”

“Yes! god yes, just let me go, it wont happen again.” Eric pleads, and you step away from Eric, and circle around to Curtis’s side. Shoving him harshly away, Eric rolled to a stand and clutched his arm, racing away as fast as he could. The coward, would probably make up some lie to cover face when he made it to your father went to reset the arm. You stood next to Curtis, still fuming. Your fear from earlier forgotten, now you were just enraged watching where the coward disappeared.

“Hey, he aint gonna try messing with you again.” Curtis let his hand rest against your shoulder, looking down at you. He couldnt help but admire you in your rage and fury. Your cheeks were flushed red, and whisps of your hair curled around your face, your eyes bright as you dragged in air sharply to blow it out. Then you turned your gaze, softening just looking at him, and could see you start to loose that edge of your temper. He did that for you.. Curtis gaze softened in return and you turn into him, sliding your arms around his waist and pressing your face in against his chest.

“Thank you for looking out for me Curtis.” his hands braced against your back and seemed to envelope you. If possible he would just hold you like that for alot longer, but you pulled away, keeping it just friends. Maybe you noticed the way his heart jumped, or the way his throat caught in his throat. And it had been that way for monthes now, seeing you in this whole other way. Since that night you fought him, trying to defy that you would ever eat again. Something shifted that day, and yet he held back from telling you, mentioning it. Honestly he didnt deserve someone like you, for all the blackness in his soul. It was better you two just stay this. Stay friends.

“Your welcome Y/N, I came to let you know Sheri, shes asking for you specifically. Your mom asked me to come get you.” Curtis was about to walk you back, but your eyes widened, and you sprinted up the aisle and out of sight before he could even think to catch up. Unsure of why you were rushing, he followed along behind, and hovered nearby, seeing glimpses of your hair as you were ducked in the bunk, and worried about intruding, he inched forward a bit enough to hear you, make sure it was all okay. Your voice was soft, almost sorrowed as you spoke.

“Im here Sheri, Im sorry I didnt come sooner...”

Unintelligible to Curtis at the moment, it only sounded older, raspier and you gave a small chuckle at whatever was said.

“I already told you, were friends, Curtis and I.” your voice seems to be teasing at this, and guilt at eavesdropping, Curtis turned away from the two of them, those last words echoing in his minds. Friends. Thats all they were, and all they would ever be. He had to accept it. You werent really his, and he needed to stop feeling responsible for you. The thought alone made him feel slightly depressed and heavy in his chest, hollow. It made him feel hollow, and he fell right in line with the others shuffling to the front to collect there daily rations.

You curled up near Sheris side, in the time you left her, she just gotten worst, and the both of you knew it really was just a matter of time now. For a while Sheri fell back into stories of the past, mixing You and Nathan up, once in a while she will talk to you like you were her husband. Her soft knobby hands grasping yours, and a smile etching on her tired face.

“Im so tired Nathan, whats it like?” She would say with her eyes closed, and you with your head slightly bowed, trying not to let your tears fall yet, you put on a smile instead and nod softly.

“Yea Sheri Dear, its nice. All love and kindness. You never hurt, your always warm and we can be together.”

“But is there Hershey Bars Nathan? And dont you lie to me, cause I always know.”

You laugh slightly at it, barely remembering them yourself, but you do your best. “Of course, every day I will get you all the chocolate you want.”

Sheri hums as if happy, and her eyes open, looking up at you. “Oh child you dont have to stay.” Back to herself again, she folded her hands around yours and patted them softly. “Thank you for sitting with me, Nathan told me hes waiting for me, and Im ready to go... Im ready to see him again, My Nathan.” She slowed her movements and drifted off to sleep. At some point your mother checks in on you. “Want me to sit with her and you go get some sleep?”

A gentle shake of your head and smile, youve done this before... the silent wait, the death watch. “No, its okay. I will see you in the morning.” Your mother nods with understanding, life on the train, these past 10 years made you grow up faster then you should. It did for all of you.

You sat there with her, refusing to leave this time, still holding her hand, that was limp and warm in your own, tracing over her knuckles and along the top of her hand, aged, weathered. Nothing really last forever, and in these thoughts Sheri drifted away, in her sleep. Just as she wanted.

When you felt her just, become a body once more, you let your tears run free now, falling in the womans blankets, while you readjust her to cover her completely, shifting to a stand a bit weak legged from the hours you were there. You went to find your mother, but see shes sleeping, both your parents are. Looking up and down the aisle, you really dont want to be alone, not now. Not after having to say goodbye. It was moments like these you missed your little brother, having someone to hold in your arms and remember all the good memories through your sorrow.

Without even thinking about it, you wander, and soon your standing in front of a bunk youve never been into, but you knew who was there. You could hear him snore softly, and shift in his sleep. A soft rustle of his coat, a shadow in the darkness. Your heart catches, and it aches. It aches for your friend, for how excited she was to see her husband again. How you dont know if she really was though. “Curtis?” Your voice is soft, your not even sure you said it. But within seconds he sleepily stuck his head out, and hand wiping at his eyes and brows coming together in concern. “Y/N? Whats wrong? Are you okay?”

You nod softly and maybe you shouldnt, it was such an odd request but it bubbles right out of your throat into words. “I dont... I dont want to be alone, please?” Your gaze lifts and it takes him a few seconds to register what your asking for, when it clicks, he doesnt even hesitate, his hand reaching out to grasp yours and help you up. Maybe he should send you home, send you back. But your looking so fragile in the dark, alone.

When you settled in, Curtis felt the bunk warm up between you two, and you laid curled up near his side, not touching , but nearby. Your breathing was fast paced and uneasy. Nervous... Fuck shes nervous. He turned to his side, and reached out to grasp your chin lightly to look up at him, since you had your face tucked down. “Y/N, want to tell me whats going on?” Curtis figured it was best to get to the bottom of what was bothering you, why you came to seek him like this.

“Do you believe in soulmates and such Curtis?” You start to loosen up, folding your hands under your head as you roll to your side as well, looking back at him. Curtis brow furrowed a bit at the very odd question from you, and gave a light shrug at it. “Im not entirely sure Y/N, I never thought about it honestly. My folks werent exactly the most loving towards each other, kinda like... “ He tried to think of how to compare them to that you might remember. “Al and Peggy Bundy from that comedy. I dont know if you would even know what Im talking about. But anyways, always kinda mean to one another, but they just stayed together. Soulmates? I dont know if they exist. Why?”

You vaguely recalled what he was talk about, the theme song playing a bit through your mind, you remembered your dad watching it, but you never paid attention to what he was watching. “Yea I know what your talking about Curtis. I was sitting with Sheri during her last bit, and she thought I was her husband. It just... she talked to him like they hadnt missed a beat, although its been years. I did my best to give her answers for him. I just, think I witnessed what that would be.” Curtis reached out and wrapped you up in his arms, understanding now that you were saying Sheri was gone. Doing that sit was never easy. Clearly this one effected you. But certainly not in the way he fully expected.

You let him pull you in close, twisting to lean in against his chest while he held you, his hand was rubbing up and down your back in a comforting manner. It lulled you to close your eyes, and after a few moments, you heard him speak. A rumble in his chest making you stir to look up at him. At this angle, you couldnt see his eyes. “Before this, did you believe in that notion? Soul mates, think they could find each other in a life like this?” Curtis question made you pull up to sit next to him, so you could properly see him. See if he was teasing you, although he didnt have that tone he did when he was, or if he was being serious in his question. Crystal blue eyes stared up at you, with nothing but seriousness, and maybe hope?

You studied Curtis for a few moments, and as sometimes happened to you, your heart seemed to speed just a bit, and you smiled at him softly, nodding. “I do Curtis, call me a hopeless romantic but we have to have hope right? Why not hope that we can find something so complete in even this hell.” You shrug and tip your head against your shoulder in that optimistic way before dropping your shrug. It was then he pushed up to sit as well, and he pulled at his lip with a drag of his teeth, seeming to think. You waited him out, your hands folding in your laps and looking at him wide eyed.

Why do you look at him like that. His resolve weakening. You were so innocent looking up at him, patient as always for him to find the words, for him to decide, for him to get rid of that guilt that he doesnt deserve you in a way more then this. You were probably the reason he hasnt done anything to reckless and gotten himself killed. Fuck it Curtis... Resolve sliding over his face and his hands cupped the sides of your face, so soft under his touch, just as he knew you would be. Soft for him, he only wanted you to ever be soft for him like this, wanting to feel you press against him, the warmth of your breath whispering into his ear that you needed him. How many times had he thought this, wanted this. And now, you were staring up at him just waiting for him to tell you all this.

“Can I kiss you Y/N?” He asked, ready to pull back the moment you looked appalled by his request, and you never utter those words, nothing changes but a quickening of your breath, and a nervous lick of your lips. Curtis wonders, have you ever been asked before? He was patient, he could wait, would wait till your ready. Its something you never admitted to yourself, but yes... you really wanted that kiss. A dip of your head and a soft “Yes” was given.

Thumbs circled over her cheekbones, and you held your breath, waiting with anticipation. His features grew soft looking at you, raking over your face for a moment, searching for a no from you before he lowered his head and pressed his lips to yours, they were softer then you been expecting, and a bit lost in what to do. But Curtis started a light nibble, a press of his tongue made you gasp in surprise. A tentative touch of his tongue against your own, and you finally started to relax into it, exploring in your own way. Although Curtis controlled your first kiss, you felt free, a rush of your senses making you pull in closer, your hands sliding up his chest and around the back of his neck.

Your fingers buried into the back of his shirt, and his own hands slid off your face, and down to your hips to pull you in closer, flushing you into his chest, and a rumbling moan crept from him. You were everything he knew you would be and more. Already it was rushing to his head, feeding a deep seated hunger he had been ignoring for the past ten years since arriving on the train. If he wasnt careful, he was going to do something he might regret, and pulled away, leaving you stunned, and giving a whimper at the loss of his lips against yours. How flushed you looked, shocked, even dare he say a hint of pleasure dazing your eyes. Your lips were swollen from his kiss, and that made him pleased he could make you look like this, just a simple kiss.

Staring at one another, it was apparent that there was no going back now, no more just best friends. You were still slightly in a daze and Curtis laid back down, his hand circling your arm to tug you to join him. “We should get some sleep.” in which you stretched out next to him. You wanted to say something, but didnt know what. The kiss, unlike anything youve ever experienced and in the dark, your fingers moved to touch your lips, smiling at the memory of it now. The feelings you had for him, had been there a long time, and until now, you never let yourself believe it was a true possibility.

Curtis on the other hand, well he was cursing himself out for what he just done. You were far to good for him and he should have known better then that. He didnt deserve you, not your honey sweet kisses he just got lost in, or the way you were so sweetly curled up next to him, trying not to intrude. Oh he was fucked... completely fucked. Why did he have to kiss you? He groaned inwards, waiting, just waiting for you to come to your senses. He was a baby murderer, it would happen soon, he was sure. You would remember what he done, and push him away, shut yourself off from him, and then in that moment, Curtis would be all alone on the train. Long after you fallen asleep, Curtis laid wide awake with his thoughts poisoning his mind.

That next day he had disappeared before you could talk to him, and kept expecting to see him, but you never did. Which was odd, cause he had a habit of finding you at various points in passing. Only place he could be was Gilliams, and that alone made you worry. Not that Gilliam was necessarily bad, but people plotted with him, talks of trying to escape was always so sush around the man, like a man of many secrets. You scolded yourself at your thoughts, knowing Gilliam was a good man. Hes helped all of you so many times, was the leader of your people. If anyone knew you felt this way, your throat closed at the idea of what could happen to you.

You were soon distracted by a 5 year old named Joey. “Hey, Its almost time, right Y/N?” he said excitedly as he ducked into the medic bay as if he owned the place, pulling on your coat and looking up with a glimmer of hope passing his face, you wink down at him, and take care of the last of the supplies. Whatever was going on with Curtis was going to have to wait. And you pushed the thoughts from your mind.

“Of course, whenever Minister Mason announces that we are passing over bridge, that means its a whole new year, and every new years what do we get?” tapping your finger on your chin, you pretend to ponder. “Oh what is it. They are white, and inside is all that yummy goodness. Hmmmm.... Frog eggs? No way to slimey! maybe a dog egg? Wait dogs dont lay eggs... Maybe a... “ at this point Joey is just about bouncing excitedly, finally bursting out.

“Chicken? Right Y/N Chicken Eggs?! I think they lay eggs.” a slightly confused look crossed his face. “Im not even sure what a chicken is.”

“Oooh! Thats what they are. And chickens run around on two legs, flap there wings and are big fluffy butts.” You cross your eyes at Joey and mimic flapping your arms, making him laugh.

“Like Miz Scarlett?” He asks, and he says it so innocently, you have a hard time not laughing, pressing a finger against his lips. “No no, she certainly doesnt look like a chicken.” Although she did that one time her nice feather down coat split down the back and feathers scattered through the tail end. You all still found the occasional feather fluttering through the aisle. Plus the woman had the tendency to be a bit over dramatic, flailing her arms around whenever she had to prove a point. Joey always had been an observant kid.

The two of you chatted about what else New Years brought, while heading out into the aisle to return him back to his mother. “were gonna have a cele-celebratition?” You chuckle and repeat the word properly. “Celebration, and it will be something like that yes.” It wasnt much, usually just a bunch of people sitting around the gate, waiting for there only treat Wilford ever gave them on the train. But it always turned into a good time, people sharing stories, and once in a while a game or two was played. “Gilliam is gonna tell us right?” Joey asks, now looking concerned.

Your brows come together, and nod, giving his little hand a squeeze. “Of course Buddy, were not gonna miss out on the best day ever, right? I will come make sure your there with everyone else.” You smile at him to assure, and he pulls up, leaping into a lower bunk to crawl over to his mom. “Mom! Y/N said its almost new years, and we get chicken eggs and maybe we get to hear stories and... “ he ended up running out of air and took a deep breath. “and Miz Scarlett doesnt look like a chicken.” You end up covering your mouth,while his mom puts him on her lap and shakes her head.

“Now Joey, you cant be telling anyone they look like chickens! Jeeze child, what am I going to do with you?” She tickled his side and he went sprawling across the bed, and rolled back up, the excitement tinging his face. “I wont, I wont... I promise!” The PA systems crackles, and you put your finger up to your lip to sush Joey, all of you tipping your head to listen. Minister Masons nasal voice crackled and stated.

“We just passed the bridge, and another year on Wilfords Miracle Train. How lucky we have all been to be here for this miraculous day. Mr.Wilford is providing everyone a treat to celebrate, be sure to come up to the front in a ORDERLY fashion, and be sure to thank him for his bountiful grace hes bestowed upon us.”

You roll your eyes to yourself for the fucking dramatics, but you tilt your head and sound excited for Joey. “Come on Kiddo! I bet hes got something real good for us.” The child looks to his mother for permission and she nods, sending him flying out of the bunk to grasp your hand and practically tugging you down the aisle, since its quite a walk for his little legs, he wanted to hurry. “Slow down Joey, we will get there” You laugh, and then Curtis sweeps past you and hauls the kid up in his arms, grinning at you as he turned around, and walked backwards, Joey, wrapping his little arm around his neck. “We got places to be, Dont We Joe?” The little boy gave a very serious nod and looked down to Curtis. “Yes sir we do.”

“Okay, okay... Im coming!” You pull up alongside Curtis with a sigh like they were being ridiculous, and once they were in sight of the front, Joey started wriggling to get down. “Put me down Curits, I want to go get in line!” in which hes swung down and as soon as his feet hit the grate, he bolts away from the two of you. The both of you hang back while others crowd to form a line. You let yourself lean against his shoulder and look up to catch his attention. “Feels like youve been hiding on me Curtis.”

“No, just been busy.” He glances at you and away, watching to make sure Joey doesnt get lost in the mayhem. Liar, hes always been a bad liar. You see right through it, and you dip around to stand in front of him. “Say that again Curtis, and mean it this time.” Your mouth curls up in a grin, and he growls a bit under his breath that he had been caught.

“Listen, yesterday...” he starts, rubbing the back of his neck and looking down. “I took advantage and I shouldnt have.”

“Curtis Everett, when have I ever done anything I didnt want to do?” You fold your arms over your chest and shake your head.

“Well...”

“That doesnt count and you know it.” Giving him a silent warning and he snapped his jaw shut. You step in closer and take a hold of his jacket, fiddling your fingers in it. “Listen to me closely, You didnt take advantage, okay, and Im not going anywhere. It wasnt bad, right?”

His eyes widened and a shake of his head to get rid of the notion, he couldnt help but touch you again, his hands moving along your arms, up to cup your face again. “Absolutely not, it was... the best kiss ive ever had.” his face softened when he said it out loud.

A slight blush crept in your cheeks, but to hear him say that, just made you more bold, knowing you werent wrong. You were ready for this moment, and never thought it was possible. “Then why do you fight it?” You asked as you slid up against him, and move to your toes to reach him, cupping the back of his neck, you bring him down to meet you, and more confident this time, you kissed him slowly. Slipping his hand into mine he grumbled about me using his own words against him and me not caring ;continued sensing death and in its depressing scent was making me understand why my Thanatos had decided to send me here.

Making it to the destination which was surprisingly not that far from the underworld I saw 3 demigods or um 2 demigods the third one ,on the floor bleeding out from a a huge gash,but not only that but the 3rd demigod was around 5-6 years old.

The other 2 demigods mourning over the fact that the little one was dying. It made sense too take him out of his misery and saddened by the fact that I needed to use my powers but at the moment I stepped up to the male demigod who looked around nico and I's age,Took out his celestial bronze sword trying to act brave and pointed it at Nico and I.\

"Who are you?" He questioned forcefully, Nico slowly took out his sword and in a firm voice said "Drop it"

"What do you want from us, are you another monster?"

"Relax were here to help" I reasoned

"Dont trust them Brandon they might be monsters" The girl who looked a year younger said

"We arent monsters relax were demigods and if you let us help the kid we'll take you to a safe place and the kid would a have a peaceful and painless death, trust us it seemed like you cared for him and if you did you'll let us help" I bargained.

"Fine but if you hurt him anymore than he is i'll kill you"Brandon threatened

Rushing over to the kid I tried to sooth him "Hey little one whats your name"

"J-jason, w-whats yours"

I gasped quietly " My names (y/n),I have a friend with the same name and you know what"

"What!" yelled the girl "your telling me its your first time whatever it is your doing to my cousin!"

"Yes it is but nothing negative will come out of it if something goes wrong it'll just speed up death what im doing now is distracting him so the wound cant hurt anymore so he can move on to the next stage without any pain..its an illusion princess nothing is gonna happen any worse than him dying which will happen either way so your gonna have to learn to trust me"

"well I dont and if you-"

"you seem pretty confident of those threats you keep on giving out for an inexperienced demigod who wasnt even able to protect her own baby cousin from a hell hound"

"Ive been in more than 5 fights I think I should be pretty confident " she tried to snare not imtimidating kind of embarrassing really.

"yeah well ive known people who been through 10 times more and worse fights than you so if you'd shut up that'd be great because im trying to calmly set Jason to a nice long sleep"

After setting Jason on his way to Elysium Nico decided we should camp out in the woods for a night and head to camp tomorrow.

I sat next to Brandon and saw him poking the fire wood with a stick.

"Hi" I said trying to make conversation

"Hey" he replied with no emotion

"Look im sorry about what happened with jason he seemed like a sweet kid"

"He was and he was my brother also"

"oh I-I I didnt know im sorry I blamed your cousin on his death I-"

"It's fine I- Can I hug you?" he asked

"Sure I guess" and he embraced me after a few seconds I could feel a something wet one my shoulder and realized he was crying, I tried my best to comfort him there were so many deaths as a demigod and that just causes pain to people I honestly dont think Brandon deserved to have his little brother to die.

I'm not sure about the other girl but after 5 minutes of him crying Nico came out of the woods heading our way.

"(y/n) I need to talk to you"

"okay" I excused myself from brandon and followed nico to a tree not far from the camp we set up

"We need to leave this place as soon as possible tomorrow"

"Why?"

"Monsters there are 4 demigods out here im positive their gonna to smell our scent"

"Got it,we leave at at sunrise somewhat easy to shadow travel safe enough to fight monsters if they come at us" I replied turning to go back until he grabbed my wrist

I glanced at his hand on my wrist and back at him

"What?" I asked annoyed

"Why was brandon hugging you for so long?"

"Why do you care?"

"I dont but you have a job to protect me and I snuck out of this place like twice to get tents"

"His brother died what do you expect, besides I dont care to protect you and you didnt care either so why do you suddenly care"

"Because I know my father would punish you if you dont and as much as I dont like you I wouldnt like my dad punishing you or anybody else"

"well thats my problem not yours so bye" I said turning away again until he spun me around again

"So your gonna head back to Brandon now"he asked

"That shouldnt matter to you, you dont own me"I said about to head back once again until he pulled me back and kissed me.

"It does and I do now" he said when he pulled back

I pushed him away then I slapped him, and then pulled him by the collar and kissed him passionately.our lips moving in sync and then oxygen ruining everything because the human need of it we pulled away.

"I-uh got to go" I said

"whoa where do you think your going, you cant just shove,slap then kiss your boyfriend and leave me out here alone especially with your job and all"he said jokingly at least i hoped

"oh so im your girlfriend now, didnt know ghost kings had feelings"I smirked

"whatever "he lightly pushed me

EXO: Mafia (chapter 1)

‘You are so boring! Please lets go out tonight’,

‘No im not, I’m just-’,

you were cut of by your best friend: 'Look, I know it must be really hard to accept, that he isn’t there for you anymore-’,

'He is! I know it!’, this time you were the one who interrupted the other. Your best friend gave you a please-not-again-look and sighed.

'It has been three years since that, I know its still hard for you, but you must get over his death! I really don’t want to sound mean, but i can’t take your sadness anymore, it breaks my heart literally.’

You gave her an incredible look, it was the first time, the really first time, when your best friend spoke the alleged death of your brother out.

She noticed your face impression and looked guilty while speaking: 'I just mean that he wouldn’t want you to suffer because of him, let him go, let him his long deserved peace…’

'He is not dead, Yoona’, you said seriously,

'How you know? Even the police confirmed it. It has been all over the news after all…’ she said.

You struggled with the thoughts whether you should tell her or not, while staring on your hands.

'Tell me’, she said, 'I know you want to tell me something, i feel it. So go ahead and say it.’

That was indeed the truth, you really wanted to tell her everything you know. Because without her you couldn’t put all the puzzles together, to find out about what was really going on. The fact, however, was that you weren’t allowed to.

'I can’t, I promised him’ you said quietly.

'Who?’ Yoona asked, nearly angry.

'Him!’ you said, 'Junmyeon!’

Her eyes widened: 'What the hell are you talking about?’

'Please Yoona dont get me wrong, I really cant tell you anything.’

She looked straight into your eyes for about about 10 sekonds. Then she nodded 'Well i guess you dont need me at all then’, when she stood up to leave your room, your heart dropped. You hated seeing her offended, especially when it was your fault. You closed your eyes and said 'wait’, she turned around, 'sit down and promise me that you will keep it to yourself. Dont tell anyone especially mom and dad. Im only telling you this, because you are my only best friend and i never had a better one.

'She smiled 'Of course i wont tell anyone, so, what is it?’ 'He calls me once a month, to check if i was alright’ you said.

Yoona’s eyes widened 'your joking!?’

'Why would I joke about such things, huh?’ You could tell that Yoona’s brain was working at hundred percent, she probably didnt know which question to ask first.

'Is he alright?’ She asked and you nodded.

'Then,…. then why are you so sad every day, when you know that he is alright?’

You stared at your hands again, to be honest you didnt know the right answer yourself. Maybe its because you havent seen him for three years now. You dont even know what he is doing or where he is right now. In fact all you knew is, that he was alright. Alright wasnt really a yes tho, so you still were worried about him. Every day, every night you were worrying. And the fact that you can’t talk with anyone about it made it even worse. Not even your mom and dad knew about it. And they were the people you wanted to tell the most about it.

'What did he tell you, why cant you tell your parents about it, why is he pretending to be dead, why on earth did the police confirm his death, when they probably dont even have his dead body and why was his death all about the news? I mean everyone knows your parents but why was it on tv when its not true? God.. i bet it was really hard seeing your parents crying and beeing sad about his dead, while knowing that actually he was alive…’ Yoona bombed you with questions which you couldnt even answer.

'Well..’ you started, 'he just said that i shouldnt worry and that he was alright. When i asked him where he was and what he was doing, he said that the less i know the saver i am. And when i asked him why he left us he said that it was too dangerous for us, if he staid. Also he said that he got too deep in some things and now he has to manage to get things go well again-’ your voice broke up. Telling this felt right and wrong at the same time. Your eyes were filled with tears now, 'Im so confused Yoona, … when i asked him if i could help him in any way, he said that not telling anyone about the truth was the best help. And that in fact it wasnt planed for me to know it either. He just couldnt take knowing that im crying about his alleged death. Thats the only reason he told me.'

You were crying now, 'I told him that if he ever should be needed in help, im here for him.’

Yoona came closer and hugged you 'The only thing that matters is, that he is alright. But…'

'What?’ you asked looking at her now.

'I don’t know, im really not sure but for me it sounds like some mafia stuff right here.’ she said.

'No, don’t say such things, he would never get in things like mafia. Not him, not Junmyeon.’ you shook your head, not wanting to believe. But if you were honest to yourself and Yoona, you had a similar feeling about that too.

'Don’t worry it was just a thought of mine, when was the last time he called you?’ your best friend asked, trying to make you feel better again.

You wiped your tears away and answered: 'Well, it was last month, i believe he will call me somewhen this week. He always calls me int the second week of the month.’

'Okay, thats good. Hmm.. look, since we have a good reason today, what do you think about going out today and after that I will stay at your home? You know he is okay so why don’t we have a little fun?’

You screw up your face, in fact you don’t want to go out anywhere, because lately you had this bad feeling about Junmyeon. It almost felt as if he was in danger. And you just wanted to stay at home and wait until he will call you again. To hear his calm voice which you loved so much-

Yoona suddenly interrupted your thinking 'Oh come on, please? Pretty please? The last time we went out together is so long ago… please (Y/N). And besides that, i want to introduce someone to you.’

'I don’t know, where do you plan to go? And what if he calls me and im not home?’

'Then he will call you later again, we won’t be gone for ever’, Yoona joked.

But you weren’t in the mood to laugh about it or something similar.

'Please i beg you! You know for all this three years i went out with others friends, but i wanted you by my side. I respected the fact that you weren’t in the mood tho. But now, when you know that he is alright, don’t you think it is your right to go out and have some fun? Oh and remember? You weren’t even at my birthday party, you owe it to me.’

'Do you really have to make me feel guilty, im sorry on your birthday I… I couldn’t party back then..’ you said.

'I know, I know, I heard your excuses for over a hundred times now and I don’t want them but you going out with me tonight. Come on, its decided! Stand up! Today you can’t say no, remember we have a good reason to go.’ she said while pulling you up from your bed and pushing you towards the door which led to your room full of clothes.

'Your saying this as if we are celebrating something’ you mumbled.

'Excuse me, i just found out that your brother is alive. Believe me or not but thats a big relief for me as well.’

'Okay, okay… I don’t have anything to put on tho.’ you sighed.

'You do, you just forgot about every cool thing in your closet because you were sitting home the last three years’ your best friend said, obviously in a good mood now.

You moaned: 'Oh please, what did i do to deserve all this, huh? I don’t want to meet new people. Who is the one you want to introduce to me?’

'Haha, your not funny and its a boy’ Yoona said, faking a laugh pretty bad.

When you heard what she just said you immediately stop walking, so that she had even more struggles to push you into your clothing room.

'A boy? Why a boy? I really don’t want to meet a boy! I forgot how to talk to boys Yoona! Cant we just stay at home and watch a movie? I don’t know, maybe a drama?’ you tried to talk her out of this idea. Because talking to boys wasnt really your talent.

'Hmm.. let me think about it, uhmm NO! We are not staying at home watching dramas, your life is a drama and you finally need some action.’

You were now standing in the room which was full of designer clothes you loved once. But since the thing with Junmyun happened you stopped going out and, just like Yoona said, forgot about the half existence of your clothes.

While Yoona was searching for clothes you asked: 'So, whats his name anyway?’

Yoona turned around and gave you a smirk: 'Hah i knew you would be interested’

You moaned: 'Im not interested i just want to know his name?’

She laughed: 'Aha sure, its Jongin and he is really cute, but don’t let his cuteness fool you my friend. He can be really sexy, i bet you will forget how to breath when you see him’

'Stop talking nonsense im not that easy, and when you find him that attractive why don’t you go out with him by yourself?’

Yoona seemed to be thinking, after a while she said: 'I don’t know, we have been friends for over two years now, and he is the one i like the most under my friends, after you of course. And i just don’t have these feelings for him. It more feels like he is my brother. I mean sometimes he is so handsome even i can’t handle it-’

'You know i don’t like guys every girl has a crush on.’ you interrupted her.

'Yeah i know, but even though its like that, his character is special, i promise you will like him. And to reassure you, he doesnt like easy girls. And by easy girls I mean those girls who are falling for him just because of his look. He likes girls more like, … well i don’t even know how to explain it. More like you i guess.’

'Seriously why are you so sure that he will like me? After everything you told me about him, it seems like he doesnt even want to like a girl.. was that understandable? I believe you know what i mean.’

'Because i feel it, and now shut up, put this on, then we will do our make up and face and then we are leaving.’ Yoona said and gave you some really short gucci hot pans, a white crop shirt and a big jeans jacket, your favorite one. It belonged to Junmyeon and since you asked him a lot to wear it he just gave it to you as a present.

'I don’t even know if my parents will allow me to go out’ you said and hugged the jacket.

Yoona crossed her arms and gave you a seriously?-look and said: 'your parents are the most cool people i know and to be honest with you, your mom asked me today if there were any plans about going out tonight with you. Because she wants you to have fun, at least a little bit.’

'Aha,’ you said 'by the way, where do you want to go?’

'To my favorite club, Jongin showed it to me a while ago and since that we always went there’ she answered.

You sighed 'I still can’t believe im doing that right now, well then i guess i will change my clothes now,’ you went into your own bathroom which was connected only with your room.

If you were honest it felt good having other emotions then only worrying about your brother. It has been three years and you can allow yourself to have some fun. This is why you love Yoona so much, because she was by your side everyday, and everyday she managed to make you feel better.

After Yoona made your natural make up and hair you found yourself in a taxi on the way to the club. Your parents weren’t at home tonight so you texted them a text message, so that they won’t worry. There were some guilty thoughts because of Junmyun, but you got them out of your mind quickly, because you really wanted to have fun now.

The taxi stopped infant of a typical rich-kids-club, and even though you were a rich kid yourself (well at least your parents were rich) you didn’t feel like you belonged here. After all it has been three years since you visited a club the last time. While Yoona paid for the taxi you got out of the car and looked around you at the people. You saw beautiful girls and handsome boys, most of them seemed to be happy but you felt kind of anxious, and the more you think about that boy Jongin the more nervous you got. You didn’t even know why, you trusted Yoona’s taste absolutely but it didn’t stop the nervousness.

Yoona got out of the car a minute later and also looked around herself, probably watching for Jongin.

You saw her grinning suddenly: 'Jongin! Here you are! She said and went towards the clubs VIP doors. In front of the door for the ordinary people there was a huge line. You quickly went after her, so that you won’t loose her.

When you reached her she was hugging a boy at the moment. The boy -Jongin didn’t even seem to notice you. After the hug Yoona turned towards you and said 'Jongin, thats (Y/N), (Y/N) thats Jongin. I hope you will become good friends as well.’

Now, when Yoona stepped out of the sight, you finally could see the whole boy. The first thing you noticed was his muscular body, which was even more emphasized by his white shirt, from which the sleeves were pulled up. Then his face… Yoona was absolutely right, he was really handsome, he seemed nice and badass at the same time and suddenly you felt like, you might like him if his character is as good as his look.

You noticed that he was also checking you out, from your bare legs to your crop shirt and face, you felt nervous again.

After he noticed your uncertain look, he cleared his throat: 'Hi’ he said, 'So you are Yoonas best friend she told me so much about’, 'uhm y..yes i believe so’ you said and threw Yoona a look, she was obviously amused by this situation.

'She mentioned that you were pretty, but i didn’t imagine you that pretty’ Jongin said. These words made you blush, 'Thank you i guess’ you replied shyly looking on the ground bc you very really blushing. In the corner of your eye, you still could see his gaze at you.

Fortunately Yoona where there to help you out of this situation: 'So do we want to go in?’ she asked. Finally Jongin stopped looking at you and turned to Yoona 'Yeah i already have reserved a place for us’ he said.

'Perfect’ Yoona said, opened the door and stepped in, leaving you and Jongin alone.

Why is she doing the situation so awkward, you wondered.

Jongin opened the door and made a movement with his hand, which also was handsome. You didn’t exactly know why but you loved it when boys had handsome hands.

'Ladys first’ he said then, you smiled at him and stepped into the club.

You could hear the loud music already from outside, so it wasn’t really a surprise when you were in. You saw a lot of people dancing and having fun, but you didn’t see Yoona.

So you stopped a little irritated, which made Jongin run right into you. You turned back to him a little embarrassed,

'Sorry, i just, uhm, i don’t know where Yoona is.’ you said and noticed that Jongin didn’t seem upset about the litte accident.

He simply gave you a smirk: 'No problem, she probably went into the VIP section upstairs,’ he said.

You turned around again, searching for the god damn stairs, when you felt a hand around your waist slightly pushing to the left. When you looked to your left, you noticed Jongin’s right arm around you. The touch of his hand got you a new feeling, it almost felt like your skin was burnin under his touch. You didn’t know what was going on, but it feeled good though.

Jongin smirked again: 'The stairs are here’ he said. You gave him embarrassed smile and went in the direction he took you. But his hand was still on your waist. It seemed like you had some butterflies in your stomach and your knees got soft. Which you didn’t really understand because you met him the first time and don’t want such feelings for him. You couldn’t really help it though.

'You seem like you don’t visit clubs often, do you?’ he asked in a load voice, so that you could hear him through the music.

'No’ you replied, 'In fact i wasn’t in any clubs for three years now,’

'Is there a special reason? Bad experience?’ he asked.

'I just didn’t feel like i want to have fun’ you said and remembered about Junmyun again, but as earlier you threw the thought away.

'And now you do?’ Jongin asked.

'Yes, I believe so’ you said.

You felt his hand on your waist all the way up the stairs and somehow you didn’t want his hand to leave the place, it made you kinda chill, nervous and good feeling at the same time.

When you got up the stairs, which were really narrow, there were some people who wanted to go upstairs. They were laughing and giving you the vibes that they were slightly drunk already.

To make some place for the people Jongin pulled you more close to him, making your left body side touching his right body side.

And again you had those feelings…

When you found the table where Yoona was already sitting, his hand left your side, you felt like you want to tell him to put his hand back on your waist. But as soon as you thought the thoughts, you were ready to slap yourself for being so strange.

You sat down right next Yoona

and Jongin sat down right infron of you. In your mind you were hoping that Yoona hasnt seen his hand aroung your waist. And as if she can read your mind she leaned over to your ear and whispered, so that only you could hear it: 'Dont even hope that i havent seen it, he obviously likes you. I have never seen him doing that to a girl before. And that means something, i mean i know him for a long time.'

You werent sure if you should see it positive, maybe he was doing that to you because he thought you were too easy... Anyway you decided to talk about that with Yoona later, since she was staying over night at your house.

The time slowly went by, you and jongin talked a lot together, just about everything. You really started to like him. Also you noticed that everytime you were not speaking or not looking at him, his gaze was still at you. You didnt know if Yoona noticed that as well, but it kind of made you feel a little bit nervous.

Suddenly a boy stand next to you, he was smiling shyly: 'Hi' he said. You guys replied with a hi back. Yoona suddenly gave you the vibes as if she was nervous, you could guess why, when the boy said: 'Yoona, do you want to dance?'

She was looking at you and then at Jongin, and then again at you. You nodded slightly.

'Uhm, sure, why not' she said. After you stood up, to let Yoona out and sat down again, Jongin said: 'Thats her crush you know?'

Your eyes widened: 'Really? Was that Minseok?'

Yoona told you a lot about him and about her feelings for him, but you have never seen him..

'Yeah thats him' Jongin said.

'He seems nice to me,' you thought,

'Yeah he is actually nice, but sometimes he can be an asshole. And lately his asshole-phases has been really often' Jongin told you, drank his drink and looked at his glad.

'I think everyone has his asshole-phases. Dont tell me you dont have them' you joked and tried to put your left leg over your right one. When you suddenly touched Jongins leg up with your leg.

At the very second he suddenly looked up, straight into your eyes.

'Im sorry' you said, not wanting him to feel uncomfortable and think that you were trying to flirt with him.

He gave you one of his smirks again and said 'yeah i also have asshole-phases' He, then, leaned a little bit forward so that his knees were touching your bare knees now. The table was small, so it was really ease to do.

You had those butterflies again, but you werent sure how to feel about it. You liked it, didnt Yoona said that he doesnt like easy girls? Then why is he doing such things to you, you dont even know him two days.

'Do you know that man on the table in the left corner? Surrounded by a lot of girls, do you see him?'

You turned around, thankfull for the topic change, but you still feld his touching.

You saw the man Jongin was talking about. Well, at least you thought he meant him, he was handsome and also muscular.

He stared at you for about 5 seconds and then he turned to a girl.

You turned around to Jongin, who also was staring at you.

'No' you said, looking Jongin in his eyes, 'Its my first time seeing him. Why are you asking tho?'

'Well he is staring at you the whole time' Jongin said, which made you feel more nervous.

'Really? Why?' You asked.

Jongin's face impression was really serious, too serious for your taste, 'I dont know, maybe he likes you... No not maybe, he surely likes you.'

You werent sure how you should reply to this so you just sat there looking Jongin in his eyes and waiting for him to say something.

Unfortunately he was doing the same thing.

After a while he said: 'If you dont like it, then show him that you already belong to someone'

'I dont belong to anyone though' you said

'Well i could help you if you want' These words made your heart drop,

'How do you want to do it?' You asked.

'Lets dance' he answered 'act like im your boyfriend' You searched for any sign of joking in his eyes, but he looked all serious.

'Okay' you said 'But i don't know how to dance anymore', you couldn't believe what you were talking about right now.

Suddenly Jongin was smirking again: 'Come on, i will show you.' He took you by your waist again, you liked how it fueled..

On the way to the stairs you noticed that the man was looking at you with furious eyes, which kind of scared you. You were glad you had Jongin by your side and decided to act really natural.

When you reached the dance floor downstairs, Jongin placed his other hand on your waist and touched your forehead with his forehead.

You could feel his breath on your lips, you looked him deep into his eyes, not sure about what was happening. And the you just simply put your hands on his wide shoulders. Your knees were soft again and you felt some botterflies flying in your stomach.

Suddenly Jongin started to talk, which made you feel even better somehow, his breath touching your lips..

'He is here, he followed us and he is obviously watching us' he said.

That made you feel anxious. What does he want from you?..

'Dont be scared', Jongin said, 'you have me.'

You nodded slightly but it still didnt make you feel better. You wanted home again, in your warm bed...

'Were is Yoona?' you asked, 'I want to find her and go home, i think thats already enough for today, I don't feel comfortable anymore'

Jongin raised his head 'There she is, at the bar with Minseok,' he said, took your hand and led you through all the people to the bar.

You saw Yoona laughing with Minseok and drinking another drink.

When she saw you she said 'One minute' to Minseok and lent towards you to ask if everything was okay, because you seemed pale.

You told her that a strange man was watching you and following you around, and that even Jongin noticed it.

'..can we please go home now? This messed up my mood' you finished.

Yoona looked at Minseok who were talking with Jongin, and made sure that no one would hear her: 'Look I'm sorry, but this is the very first time me and Minseok doing something alone. If you want home, could you go with Jongin? I will come to your place a little later i have your keys.' she said with a little bit guilty eyes.

You sighed, because you didn't expect anything else, but you werent mad at her though, 'Do you think he will walk me home?' you asked.

Yoona smiled now: 'Ofcourse he will! Hey Jongin!'

Jongin stopped talking to Minseok and looked at both of you, 'Yeah?' he said unsurely.

The Party

Sirius Black x Reader

My heart was beating faster and faster as we walked into the family home of the Blacks. I glanced nervously at the crowd .

Purebloods.

I hated these pureblood parties that my parents dragged me to. They were excrutiatingly boring, and so dull. The pureblood families got together every now and then to brag about their riches and accomplishments. Boring stuff. And it was another excuse for parents to find suitable brides and grooms for their children.

My eyes went through the crowd of people, searching for just one face. Eventhough I shouldnt be doing that. Its been over a month since I last saw him, and we had had an awful fight before vacation began. He didnt even write to me. And his silence just drove me mad.

I found myself in the huge dining room. The long table was laid out with lots of food, and people were already sitting around it, talking and eating.

Thats when I saw him.

Sitting at the table, with a bored expression. Leaning back lazily on his chair. He saw me and sat up straight, running his fingers through his silky black hair.

"Y/N ! Come on now !" My mother's sudden appearence startled me. I stood staring at her with a hand against my chest.

"What is it, dear ? " she asked, seeing my expression.

"You scared me, Mum !" I said, as she took my hand and led me towards the table.

Most of the seats were taken, except for one where my mother sat, and two others on either sides of Him.

Sirius Black had that smirk on his face now. He knew I will have to sit next to him.

"Sit !" Mum urged me, as I hesitated.

This is going to be a long night, I thought as I walked up to the empty seat and sat. He looked at me, and I just gave a nod of acknowledgment.

Sirius and I were pretty close. We were very much inseparable. We have been together for 3 years now, and he still gave me butterflies in my stomach.

We had quite a nasty fight about a month before school closed for summer. I happened to see a Ravenclaw girl pushing him against a wall like she owned him, and trying to kiss him. I was way beyond jealous, and we got into a fight. I knew it wasnt him who did anything. But I didnt see him pushing her away either. I was just too heartbroken to reason with anything. And we havent spoken since. He tried while at school. But I didnt give in.

I tried my best, but I just couldnt resist sneaking glances at him. Both of us played with our food. I took ocassional bites to satisfy my mother, who was eyeing me from across the table.

Just as I was about to put the spoon to my mouth, I felt his hand on my knee. I dropped my spoon and it hit the plate with a loud clang. Several guests looked up at me, and Mum was glowering.

"Alright there, sweetheart ?" she asked in a sickly sweet tone.

I nodded, and I felt his fingers tighten around my knee. I bit my lip, not knowing what to do. I grabbed my goblet and took a big sip of water. His hand slid up.

Thank god for the elaborate and frilly table cloth !

"Sirius, dont you dare !" I hissed at him, swatting his hand away.

He smirked again.

An old wizard sitting next to Sirius' father Orion Black, asked him something. Sirius turned to face him, and spoke. His fingers were still stroking my thigh, and it was sending shivers down my spine. I put a hand over his, and squeezed it, to stop his fingers from moving. He continued talking with the man, as his fingers slowly intertwined with mine.

I missed this boy. I missed the way he touched me, and said my name. I missed everything about him.

As I felt a heaviness in my heart, he moved his hand again. My stomach did flips at that. I knew this wont go well here.I held his hand again, and moved it away from my leg. I got up.

Excusing myself, I almost ran out of the dining room.

It was my first time in his house, so I didnt know where to go. I just went up the stairs, and found a door that opened into a small balcony. I stood, with my hands on the railings, breathing heavily.

I didnt know how I managed without him for this long. I couldnt do it anymore. I needed him. I needed Sirius Black.

Just as tears began to sting my eyes, I felt a pair of arms around my waist, and Sirius' scent filled my nostrils. He pulled me against his firm chest, kissing the back of my neck. I just held his hands to me tightly, not wanting him to let go.

"You're bad Sirius Black" I said. "You're so bad"

"Im sorry, Princess" he said, and turned me around to face him. "Forgive me"

He leaned forward to kiss me, and he lifted me off the floor. I pulled away, hearing some footsteps.

"Someone will see us " I said, looking over his shoulder.

"Come on" Sirius said, taking my hand. We ran up the stairs. And he opened a door, pulling me in with him. And I immediately knew it was his room. Before I could actually take a look at it, he pushed me against his door, and kissed me again.

"Owww" I said against his lips, making him laugh. He moved his lips down to my neck. "Sirius ! Our parents are downstairs !" I said, pushing him away.

"So what ?!" he said, grabbing me again. "No !!" I said as he came forward again.

He stopped, and pouted.

"Where have you been ? Did you even bother to write to me ?!" I asked.

"Im sorry Y/N!" Sirius said, looking defeated. "I didnt know what to do ! You wouldnt even look at me ! Besides, homes been hell -"

I knew what it was like for him, and I felt bad for being so hard on him.

"Please, Y/N?" Sirius said, takng my hand in his, and kissing it.

"I missed you, idiot" I said, hugging him. Sirius smiled and pressed his lips to mine again. His hands arms came around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"I love you, baby" he said, kissing my nose. "I love you too " I said, smiling.

* * *

I stood in front of his mirror, fixing my hair, as he sat, watching me. He strolled towards me slowly, with a sad look on his face.

" I dont want you to leave" he said, standing behind me, with his hands on my waist. "Lets run away"

I turned around and kissed his cheek,laughing.

"We might have to" I said, and put on my shoes.

"Just a month more till school starts" I said, and went to the door. "Love you, Black"

"Where have you been, Y/N !" Mum hissed as she saw me.

"Umm...bathroom" I said, shrugging.

"Come here ! There is something important" said Mum, grabbing my arm and leading me into the dining area.

"Found her, have you ?" Walburga Black was speaking to my Mum.

"This is her" Mum said, giving me a little push.

"Hmm" Walburga said, as she touched my cheek, trying to bring out a smile.

"She is perfect !" I stood staring at Sirius' mother.

"Ah ! There ! SIRIUS !" she bellowed, making me jump.

I turned to see Sirius looking at us with wide eyes. I was sweating now. Shit, have they found out about us ?!, I thought, my heart racing.

Sirius came to us slowly. He looked at me cautiously.

"Mary, I hope you've met my son before, Sirius " Walburga said, and Mum nodded, smiling at Sirius.

I felt another hand on my shoulder, and turned to find my Dad, smiling down at me. Why were they all so happy ?

"I think its time to tell them, Orion." He said. Sirius' father nodded and looked at his wife.

"Well, we have decided to join the Y/L/N and Black family " Walburga began. "And as the two of you are so well suited for eachother..." Sirius and I stood frozen.

Is this for real ?!

"The wedding will be soon after your education at Hogwarts is complete !" Mum added happily, smiling at Walburga.

Sirius and I exchanged glances, still unable to react.

Walburga came forward to hug me.

"Welcome to the family, Y/N" she said, struggling to bring about a smile.

Sirius finally smiled as my parents embraced him.

"I think this is great !" Mum exclaimed. "We have so much to do now !!" Just as our parents began their own conversations, Sirius looked at me.

"I cant believe it " I said.

He laughed.

I had to join in. Sirius put his arm aound me, kissing my forhead. Maybe this wasnt such a bad party, after all.

Chapter 0

"How many are in the room" Katsuki mutters in Izuku's ear when they we just in earshot of one another mouth barely moving as he looking between Izuku and a man in the corner of the room gun trained on them, "only this guy, what about outside?" Izuku mutters back holding Katsuki's hand in a tight grip as Katsuki moved closer, this was supposed to be their final kiss before either of the two took a bullet to the chest, it was up to who ever grabbed the gun to their rights first,but that wasn't going to happen today. "Four two guarding the door one guarding the entrance to this place and the other in a camera room" his mutters were barely a whisper at this point as he leaned down eyes still trained on the man in the corner "Think we have enough time to leave this shit hole?" Izuku cursed "No." Katsuki says before reaching carefully for the gun and kissing Izuku tenderly, they had barely parted from their kiss when a shot rippled through the room with a loud

'BANG'.

Chapter 1

"Katsuki Meet your newest partner Izuku Midoriya, you remember him right, you two used to play together when you were just babies" Mitsuki says with a wicked grin on her face as she stared at the green haired freckled boy, who looked just as elated to see his missing 'aunt', looked like something never change.

The two of them were 18 when they saw each other again, Izuku didn't seem to change on first appearance, he seemed to still had a big heart...to big for Katsuki's liking and a bright ass smile that could probably blind a person not used to it by now, and with Katsuki….well….he didn’t seem to had changed either, still cold towards people, he kept his distance, he was raised to lead, for he would be taking over his family's company soon when they see him fit enough to lead that is, Mistuki believed he was still ‘too weak’ and was hell bent on keeping him in line, and it was honestly starting to piss him off, and his father, Masaru, had tried his best to keep his mother off his back but alot of good that did him.

Looking at this guy he had grown up with until about eight years ago made him even more angrier cause he knew Inko hadn't been doing her part since they left for America, she was supposed to make him more suitable for the line of work everyone else in this fucked up makeshift family had done, and that job was to kill.

Kill for money, kill for food, kill to pay rent, kill to survive, but no Inko didn't do this she babied him and now this is going to be a whole other issue he’s gonna have to deal with, Katsuki just hopes he knew how to aleast shoot a gun. "Yeah I remember him" He says with a hint of irritation, looking down on him but not by much Izuku was maybe a inch or so shorter than him, "Hey Kacchan'' He says using that same old nickname he used when they were kids, though Katsuki didn't miss the slight twitch of his smile, Mitsuki did though apparently as she continued speaking "Now how about you two go catch up while I go see Inko, Izuku by the way where is your mother honey?" Mitsuki asks with a sweet tone "Talking to Uncle Masaru, in the front yard I think" He says facing Mitsuki again, her grin widens even more at the mentions of her best friends whereabouts, she then ruffles Izuku's hair with a fond smile fixed on her face before walking off saying as she left "You two behave got it" Izuku of course responding in a "yes ma'am" and Katsuki a loud tsk before grabbing Izuku’s wrist and leading him to the kitchen before letting go.

In the kitchen it was filled with awkward silence with the occasional clunking from the dishwasher currently going.

Izuku sat at the kitchen aisle while Katsuki went in the fridge, after a while of silence Izuku spoke up, “Kacchan how’ve you been?”, again with the old nickname, it wasn't like they were friends anymore eight years is alot it can change a person “Stop acting all buddy buddy dumbass, its been eight years since you last saw me”Katsuki hissed Izuku sighs and his smile falls just a little more than last time, his smile almost completely dropping “Yeah, I know, but I still see you as a friend of mine, even though by now I know you probably don’t see me as a friend anymore” Izuku says with a low hum, Katsuki looks back with a look of irritation “Thats fucking stupid, for all you know I could be running a drug ring or some shit like that” Katsuki hissed “Like killing people isn’t any worse, atleast five out of the ten people are killed because of something petty or spitful, noone deserves to die for those reasons.” Izuku raises an eyebrow “Your.. gonna have to change your morals if you plan to work in this line of work Midoriya” Katsuki grabs out several items from the fridge; an egg craton, two onions, dashi, and two scallions he got earlier today, and boneless skinless chicken. He then pulled out several items from a pantry; dry sake, soy sauce, and sugar, “Can you cook nerd” Izuku stands from his seat with a quiet sigh he rolls up his sleeves and stands beside Katsuki grabbing a knife from the knife block beside the stove “Of course I can” he then grabs one of the onions while Katsuki grabs a bowl, a saucepan, and a cutting board placing a bowl and cutting board in front of Izuku before he began combining the dashi, soy sauce, sake, and sugar in the saucepan as the stove was lit to high temperatures, Izuku in the meantime cut up the onions into slivers and chopped the scallions into thin equal parts.

As the cooked the food Izuku spoke up in a monotonous tone with a look of uncaring in his eyes, “I didn't ask to join this business, I’d rather be traveling right now being a photographer since I finished school early and everything.” at this Katsuki gave him a look mixed with confusion and irritation,seemed like the only thing he knew how to show was of those two emotions, “Why in the hell are you waste your time here then,just fucking leave” Katsuki snapped “Cant exactly do that now can I, my mother has filled me in on to much as it is and my dad….. Look, long story short I can’t back out anymore even if I wanted too.” Izuku could feel Katsukis red eyes glaring holes into him even without him looking, because Katsuki had always wanted to go into his parents career choice, sure it wasnt conventional, and honestly wasnt morally correct killing people for money, but that was life for you and Katsuki wanted simple money even if it meant murder, Izuku found saw no good coming from this though and the two of them knew it, thanks to Izuku witnessing a murder his mother did right in front of him when he was six, since then he has been admit that killing was wrong, and he was right it was but it also bring in money so it worth the risk,right.

“Thats fucking stupid I’m pretty sure that my parents wouldnt care if changed your mind” “Yeah, but then theres my dad, and he made sure to clarify that if I quit I’ll be hunted down by him himself” Izuku frowned at the memory of his father pointing a gun to him for bringing up wanting to be a photographer when he grew up, it was a honest slip up,he was barely eleven,but that slip up was one that he has since regretted since then, Katsuki snickered lightly “Sounds like the old hag” he muttered before turning on the rice and stepping back to lean on the counter aisle “Last I’ve heard he’s out at America working double agent for another hitman agency, heard anything from him, he’s been radio silent here” Izuku shakes his head “No last I heard from him was about a year ago when he said they were sending him out to kill some gut named Yagi Toshinori that had been in the area at the time, he could be dead for all we know” Izuku answers nonchalantly, Katsuki laughed a little louder at this “Your really dont like that old man do you” Izuku decided now was a time to not answer and just shrugged, at this Katsuki smirked “maybe you did change a little” he thought outloud Izuku shrugged once more before checking on the rice and turning the other eye off that held the mixed ingredients “Kacchan, can you answer something for me?” Izuku asked, turning to face Katsuki again, “Why did you hate me when we were younger?” Izuku asks lifting onto a nearby counter top and sitting on it with a small tilt in his head eyes on Katsuki “You don't have to lie either I heard you in the hall at school a few days before you left talking to your friends about how you hated my guts, I left before I could hear your reasoning can you answer that now, I wanna know” the look in Izukus eyes was of pure numbness, not a speck of emotion showing, what the fuck happened to Izuku while Katsuki was in America.

Katsuki sighed in a low voice he starts remembering the past “Well, to put it bluntly, nerd….You were a huge ass crybaby it pissed me off, not to mention your way to caring it was absolutely irritating, you fall in love way to fucking easily, your faith in humanity is fucking rediculas, and not to mention your excessive mummbling made me wanna punch you,did you ever break that fucking habit by the way, but anyways everything you did pissed me off” Katsuki cut himself off realizing at this point he was gonna work himself into actually ranting about his issues with him which shouldnt matter anymore anyways, thinking on how stupid this all was only started to piss him off, but he brought his focus back to Izuku anyways to see his expression hadnt changed even slightly, a few long minutes of silence later and Izuku hops off the counter and turned the rice off “foods done” he says plainly before making bowls, this unsettles Katsuki,greatly. The damn nerd wasn’t reacting to his words at all he blew it off, usually either they would start arguing or he would tear up…. But he didn't do either.

Though Katsuki wanted to ask what the fuck happened to him over the years, but he didn’t have a chance as Izuku turned around with a smile on his face holding two trays in his hand “Hungry?” he asks as if nothing happened,Katsuki lifted up from the counter and grabbed the tray from Izuku “For the sake of our partnership lets restart alright forget our past” again Izuku confused Katsuki, he nodded nonetheless.

“Fine by me”

Chapter 2

Katsuki’s red eyes was trained on Izuku, everything about him was wrong, it’s like he turned into a literal different person one minute and then back to the kid he knew as a kid a moment later, it completely threw him off, though Katsuki was practically tossed out of his thoughts when he heard Izukus annoyed sigh “Bakugo can you stop staring and just eat your Oyakodon please” he asks placing his spoon down “What the fuck happened to you?” Katsuki asked bluntly Izuku raised a eyebrow “What do you mean” he asks “This whole personality swap your doing its fucking freaky” “Your delusional” Izuku said matter-a-factly before returning to his food “NO IM FUCKING NOT, THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE IN THE KITCHEN YOUVE BEEN ALL MONOTONE AND SHIT BUT THEN SUDDENLY YOUR ALL HAPPY AND SHIT THE VERY NEXT MOMENT” Izuku covered his ears the second Katsuki started shouting before looking up at the boy “Your acting like a child” “eh!?! What the fuck do you mean by that you damn nerd?!” he asks leaning over his food as he stood, he looked about ready to launch out of his seat, “You heard me your acting like a child, now sit down and eat your food” he motions with his hand toward the boys’s bowl before his phone started ringing and he stood up and excused himself from the table and left with a furiously pissed off Katsuki still staring at the greenette for a moment.

The greenette’s phone call ended about five minutes later, probably some nobody, and Katsuki had left the room a bit after leaving his bowl of barely touched food, ‘rude’ Izuku thought before he walked over and grabbed his bowl and sealed the top in plastic wrap before finishing his food before his mother and aunt walked in “Izuku~!” his mother sang walking over to him with a soft look in her eyes “Where’s the brat?” Mitsuki asks noticing her kid missing almost immediately, Izuku shrugged “I’m not really sure I stepped out cause a friend of mine called and when I came back we up and vanished” Izuku stated finishing his bowl before he picked up katsukis tray of food and his “But we made Dinner a bit ago we didn't bother coming to get you guys since you all were getting caught up” Izuku give them a small smile that didn’t exactly meet his eyes “Imma be out front for a bit if you need me if you see Ka-Bakugo mind not telling him where I am he’s the last face I wanna see” he asks before turning on his heel and placing the trays on the counter and leaving for the front, though he did over here Mitsuki whistle and ask something along the lines of “when did he grow up”. Izuku shook his head at this and continued to the front before seeing his uncle Masaru “Hey Izuku” he gives Izuku a small smile as he fixes his glasses and adjusts the papers he was currently carrying, probably from his side job, “Hey uncle I'm going out to get some fresh air” Izuku motions to the door just ahead “Where's Katsuki?” Izuku shrugs once more “I have no clue… he kinda ditched me a few minutes ago” Masaru sighs and mutters under his breath “That boy…” he frowns “Don't worry about it I’m used to it anyways” Izuku shrugged off “I'll leave you to your paper, see you uncle” “Goodbye Izuku” he gives Izuku one more smile before walking into his office Izuku took that as cue for him to carry on walking.

Once outside he reached in his pocket and pulled out a small box of cigarettes, it was a bad habit he picked up thanks to some upperclassmen and his father a few years back, when his mother found out about his smoking habit she blew up, he would like to say he’s never seen his mother so angery and ashamed of him specifically but that would be a lie, Izuku’s done alot of shit growing up, most almost fucking up his chance to get a decent education even though he knew education could only go so far he wanted to accomplish in something, his father was against it so fucking against it he showed up to the school to pull him out thank god his mother called back up to fix his wrong, thinking back to it Izuku couldn’t remember one good moment he could of possibly had with his father, for his father was either beating the living shit out of his mother intoxicated out of his damn mind, cheating; which thinking back to it Izuku had caught him plenty of times when he was little, he was either on jobs, or out doing job knows what getting god knows what, honestly if it wasnt for his father maybe he would of had a decent life...well other than the assassinations his mother does sometimes, Inko had been planning to retire next year, she would have the money since the next four clients she had are paying her 107,805,500 yen each just to kill some guy named Todoroki Enji who apparently he was some high ranking business man that fucked with the wrong family, and a man named Harima Oji which is currently under heavy security at a prison, how his mother was gonna get to the man, he had no clue but trusted she could handle herself, she was no pushover...anymore.

Currently Izuku was on his third cigarette and with a look of disgust he threw it on the floor and crushed the flame out “its getting worse” he said to himself before pocketing the cigarette box and picking up the now crushed cigarette when he heard Katsuki’s voice “FUCK OFF IF HE WANTS TO BE ALONE THEN LET HIM IM GOING OUT” Izuku could hear his voice from outside almost as clear as day, Izuku took pity in knowing their neighbors must hear them screaming at eachother all the time now, but nevermind that Izuku watched as the door swung open and Katsuki Bakugo damn near shove him into the small flowers growing just outside the house, something his mother did while his aunt and her family was gone “HEY FUCKING WATCH IT” Izuku shouts before grabbing Katsukis arm to keep himself up right from falling, this though led to Katsuki falling, Izuku barely made it out of the way in time to see the angry blonde boy crash into the dirt with a harsh thud and a “ugh” escape his lips Katsuki completely fell thanks to Izuku ‘Oh this won’t be good’ Izuku thought holding back a laugh as he stepped back to find himself trip right into the outdoor plant, “Well karma’s a bitch” Izuku grunted as he tried to stand, to bad his ass was stuck in the vase sitting on dirt and crushed plants, his balance now completely screwed he watches as Katsuki slowly rises from the ground his blonde hair now covered in dirt and his face red with anger till he sees Izuku’s current situation, Izuku watched as Katsuki's face slowly contorted into a giant shit eating grin “Fucking serves you right, enjoying that seat of yours Midoryia” He snort, Izuku shoots back “I don’t know how that dirt taste, pretty nast fall if your face has anything to say about it” at this Katsuki rushes him pulling him out of the pot and throwing him into the dirt at this point the two boys were fighting well fighting as in rolling around in the dirt throwing punches that missed most of the time because both boys had excellent reflexes, they didn’t break up until Inko sprayed water on the two from the distance with a look of annoyance written all over her face Masaru at the door way with a amused look on his face and a camera in hand Mitsuki was right beside him leaning against his shoulder with a absolutely shit-eating grin.

“CAN YOU TWO NOT BEHAVE FOR ONE MOMENT” Inko shouted glaring holes into the two soaked boys still on the ground hands buried either in the others clothing or hair, “TO THINK AFTER ALL THIS TIME NEITHER OF YOU CAN GROW UP AND PUT YOUR DIFFERENCES ASIDE KATSUKI GO TO YOUR ROOM AND GET CHANGED IZUKU” Izuku who was currently the one being pinned which also meant he wasn't as soaked as Katsuki at the moment looked up at his mother with long sigh before kneeing Katsuki in the stomach forcing him off “WE’RE LEAVING” she shouted Izuku nodded and stood dusting himself off which barely did anything, Katsuki the same, though technically this was his home and Inko was a guest he knew Inko was practically a second mother in the house when the time came, same with Inko's house his parents could order Izuku to his room if a fight broke out between the two which was almost always, sometimes they could manage to stay in the same room together and not fight over the most trivial things, but Katsuki was a hot head and Izuku a smartass with a mouth that had no filter when it came to people he didn’t like or his peers, at this point Inko saw no hope of the two every getting along long enough to even attempt to finish a assessment together.

Later that night she brought it up to Mitsuki and Masaru over the phone and Mitsuki reassured her it would be fine no matter how things play out, Masaru offered the next time she visits they all could go out to a bar he knew and have a few drinks Inko accepted and a date was set, she marked it down in her calendar and the rest of the day was treated in silence from the Midoriya household and the Bakugo household full of screaming and shouts mainly between Mitsuki and Katsuki with Masaru watching from a distance just, analyzing.

That's when an idea came to mind.

He had a plan.
