part of me wishes that mac really did have a boyfriend this season who is genuinely a good partner.

not only did i want to see mac happy and loved, but i also wanted to see dennis react to the control he has over mac slip away.

we’ve seen what happens when dee becomes “famous” and dennis no longer has his psychological grip on her. he begs on his knees for forgiveness and embarrasses himself to try and get at least a sliver of that control back.

but what about with mac? dee was able to step on his face because he’s her brother, and she’s lived with his antics her whole life. but if mac is in love with him, would he immediately go back to dennis? would he continue being with his boyfriend??

i think the dynamic dennis holds with the entire gang is so interesting but i think the one between him and mac is so much deeper and confusing for both ends, so i really want an episode besides mac and dennis break up that dives into it
