#bunny rambles #i lied yesterday but im gonna keep trying to limit my time on here for a few weeks i think #im just busy this month d:#but anyway yeah today im wearing a polo button up of my wifes w a cream color bandana i crocheted & b&w zebra stripe (chunky) flowly pants #& its so simple but its riding the androgyny line on the fem side a bit and im obsessed with this outfit #i love that i realized i can just do what i want now. like ik im 26 but realizing like OH IM 26 (aka i am a big kid and can make decisions #for myself on what i wear regardless of others opinions) was a neat realization abd my style has gotten so much better imo even from lst yr #to this yr :3 and some ppl look at me funny but idcccc #also the fat redistribution from T + some (unintentional).#weight loss has made my tummy sit a little differently now in my clothes too but i like it a lot honestly #im really happy with my body. i cant wait to see how it keeps changing and to keep modifying it to make myself happy

I can't really recommend Fields of Mistria to people yet bc it's early access and most people I know prefer to wait until the full game has come out, but it's like.... all I'm doing these days. I come home from work and play Fields of Mistria for 4 hours. This is like.... the perfect beautiful farm sim I've waited for my whole life.

#anntics #I know I'm being very vague... listen. the controls and gameplay are intuitive and comfortable. the walk speed is fast #they have all of the standard farm sim elements (farming ranching fishing mining foraging etc.)#fishing is kind of animal crossing style (you see the fish they see your bobber nibble nibble BITE press button get fish no minigame)#the art and character portraits are beautiful. very 80s/90s anime inspired.#the characters themselves are interesting and fun to interact with & there's TONS of dialogue about literally everything #donate an item to the museum and someone will comment on it. complete a story request and people will talk about it.#ship a new type of crop and the owner of the general store will send you a thank you letter with a recipe that uses the crop #see a heart event with a character and other people will say something to you about it later #also all characters have 4 seasonal outfits and romanceables have a 5th outfit they wear at the beach #idk. for an ea game it feels sooo detailed and well made. I have a lot of respect for the crazy amount of work and time and care put into it #you can put accessories on your animals. not my thing but it's pretty neat #the story is interesting and fun and it really integrates your character into the community and makes you feel like you're a part of it all #also and this is maybe an odd comment but it's something I really care about #they have kid characters that are actually cute and fun and interesting and I actually care about them #Vincent & Jas & all those little harvest moon kids mean nothing to me and they never have and never will #but Dell Luc and Maple? obsessed. they've always got something going on #also everyone in town has really unique and interesting relationships with each other. it's all very dynamic. and cute. and funny.#oh. and you don't have to upgrade your house and buy a kitchen to start cooking. they let you use the one at the inn. it's free.#having a kitchen at your house is just more convenient. same for crafting tables & anvils for smithing. you can just do it in town #biggest complaint.... only one non thin romanceable character 😔#also there's an npc who looks kinda like my wife and he's not romanceable..... c'monnnnn

Ok so here’s my list of videogames I’m going through rn:

Half-Life series

Batman Arkham

And now Zelda

All of which I know jack shit about the stories or spoilers. I’ve started Batman Arkham Asylum and I’m in the middle of Half Life 2 Episode 1. So far I’m having a blast

#i tried using a controller for Batman Arkham Asylum but quickly went fuck it and used my keyboard instead #how do y’all do it??? there’s so many fucking button combinations?!!!#i tried to remember the patterns but it was really diffficult and keyboard simplifies a lot so keyboard it is #and WHY IS THERE SO MANY RIDDLER BULLSHITS TO COLLECT??!!#240?!!!! WHY #so far I have little over 25% of them and it’s going to be a pain in the ASS collecting the stuff I need to go back through levels #i will say the facial expressions for Arkham Asylum are super stiff and the dialogue is very very rough #but visual and gameplay wise this shit aged wonderfully for a game made in 2008 #it’s very neat and fun and I’m having a blast but I really don’t feel the motivation story wise to do what I need to do??? like in Half Life #you got backstory and motivation and everything #with Arkham Asylum you’re just in the Asylum and you now have to stop Joker but it’s not as pressing of an issue #I’m also not used to open world games #like sure you can’t go TOO far but you can explore an entire island?!!! how cool is that?!?!!#I’m so used to railroad shooters that this is so neat I’ve never played an open world game #bones speaks

I have been working on a cloak for like over a year off and on and HOO BOY IS IT COMING TOGETHER >:D

I've just gotta sew up the bottom and actually secure the buttons with thread instead of pins and it'll be WEARABLE

#random post #I’m being silly for the most part lol #tho I’m always surprised when I draw smth nice or am able to do smth well #shocked like when a deer sheds their antlers lol. like ‘WHATHFUCK IS THAT?!?!’#every day I forget I draw and every day I remember that fact #I may always be thinking about my ocs. but I’m not always thinking about drawing if that makes sense. like it’s 2 separate things that mesh #sometimes. so if that isn’t coherent I’m experiencing the consequences of my actions (hunger and thirst)#anyways when I first played beatsaber I shocked everyone and myself when I was able to keep up the faster paces #I guess I’ve just had practice with quick things like that before? I play a game where it’s very ‘push button at right time’ and that one #also goes pretty fast. idk tho. anyways I learn things about myself and it’s fun (like when I realized my right shoulder may have the #ability to dislocate? not entirely sure there but it looks really fucked when I move certain ways)#I’ve also noticed my left eyebrow will subconsciously just raise on its own. not like the Rock style or anything lol but you can obviously #see it. also I can lift my right brow on its own without moving any other muscle on my face so that’s neat #I can also move my ears! it’s from all those years of trying to keep my glasses on my face lol #anyways I’m rambling and I need to eat now so <3

These 100% look like they were made with metal clay, which is actually fine silver (nearly pure, no nickle. Just some of the organic binder left over after firing, if anything) and then spent an insufficient time in liver of sulfur (used to blacken the silver, then the highlights polished off. If it's not done long enough it just gets yellow or brown) and the bad quality photos and shitty lighting aren't helping.

That being said... this is not good work. See the cracking around the settibg in the bottom left? That happens when he clay is too dry and you overwork it. It would have been a fairly easy fix if they had noticed. (Could also have happened in the kiln, but even then it would have been an extant crack getting bigger, so still preventable) You can also see the tool marks in them which... is a style, but not a style I prefer. The channel setting and inset are much easier techniques in metal clay than with sheet metal, which is probably why they have the confidence to make them.

The stones are probably glass because glass tends to hold up better in the kiln than natural stones

kinda obsessed with these, clearly beginner, rings on Etsy being marketed as garnet when i'd bet money that they are glass

the metal work is. certainly better than what i've ever made, so i don't want to speak to harshly. but uh. um.

#this looks like student work tbh #like literally look like pieces that my moms students make #metal clay is super neat and i won't have anyone dispataging it in this house #that being said people have made some god*awful* shit with it #man... now i want to get back in the studio and make some things #starting with buttons. i really need to make some buttons
