There is nothing quite as disorienting as seeing yourself in front of you. And that's what Wojtek saw in the man Melchior showed him. Though not at first, at first he saw a monster.

What he was to become.

The sight terrified him. For the briefest second he felt an urge to turn and run, and never come back. But it was gone as soon as it appeared. And he stepped closer. Listened to his domitor explain the changes, advancements. What benefits they would be. To whom?

Then came the meticulous, slow, work of implementing the changes. Agonizing as always, the ghouls only comfort being that the vampire wanted this. That it would make him happy. And so he endured, zoning in and out of consciousness trough the pain.

He didn't stir back awake until Melchior had prodded at him, and Wojtek shifted to look up at his master. Seeing not only the vampire, but himself. A weak, mentally shattered version of himself, his own work of implementing the visage onto the other ghoul. Now looking entirely like he used to, with no changes. As if they had swapped.

He simply stared seeing his domitor bite away at his flesh, again and again. Seeing himself devoured, his ears were ringing.

Then his domitor speaks, and while Wojtek can't focus to hear what he says, he can feel it. Instinctively aware of the others wishes and wants, and so he moves closer. Taking the invitation and ripping into himself, his flesh, his face, his humanity.

What he no longer was.

Taking the invitation to be something else, something new.

Something in His image.
