He's one of the kindest people in Blue Lock. His best friend is Shidou. He absolutely adores noise — it's his favorite thing in the world. He's the biggest extrovert ever. He hates horror games, they scare him so much. He doesn’t care about being the best, he just wants to be there for the other players. He cries when he sees people crying in K-drama . His lockscreen is Jungkook from Bts . Keeps a diary titled “My Feelings Matter 🐰💌”. His texts are full of emojis like “:3” and “🐾🌸”. Wrote a poem called “I Miss My Brother” in lowercase on his Notes app.

ISAGI YOICHI .

He has one of the worst past in the whole Manga . He is in love with Kaiser . His mom has left him and his dad , his dad became abusive toward him . believes he’s part of a divine algorithm . talks about “the variables of victory” like he’s reciting sacred texts . Once solved a tactical dilemma in a dream and woke up crying . Sometimes stands in the shower for 45 minutes whispering “I am the flow. I am the formula.” Sees life in passing patterns and positioning data . When someone asked if he wanted dinner, he said “I’ve already consumed their weakness.” .

BACHIRA MEGURU .

Zero jokes. all serious. has never said “teehee” in his life. Watches slow motion replays of football moves with the intensity of a surgeon. When someone calls him weird, he just whispers “discipline looks like insanity to the undedicated.”. CHIGIRI HYOMA .

Uses phrases like “iron sharpens iron” and “grit is sexy” unironically. Got mad once because someone called his hair “pretty”. replied with “I didn’t grow this hair for you to admire. SAE ITOSHI .

His notes app is 99% poems about Rin and 1% tactical feedback. Gave Rin a mixtape titled “you were born, and the world finally made sense”. Cries in the bathtub listening to classical music. said “Rin is the only goal I ever wanted to reach” and then ghosted the media for three weeks.

NESS ALEXIS .

Once called Kaiser “a loyal fan” during an interview and immediately forgot about it. If you ask him what Kaiser means to him he’ll go “who?”. Unbothered. Moisturized. Ascending. Uses Kaiser to carry his matcha frappuccino and absolutely doesn’t say thank you. Probably refers to him as “sparkle boy” or “the one who breathes weird when I walk past”. Doesn’t know Kaiser’s full name.

MICHAEL KAISER .

Once confident, now pathetic. Made Ness his religion. prays to a shrine he built with Ness’s used water bottle and a photo. Updates his bio daily with “ness noticed me 💖” or “ignored again 😔 day 12”. Sobbed in the locker room because Ness didn’t like his new cleats. Will run into oncoming traffic if Ness says “good job”. Ends every sentence with “I hope he saw that.”. But okay, instead of beating around the bush with meta answers, I think... how people react to adversity or stress is the most telling trait. Do they push through it? Do they express anger, sadness, or detachment? Do they lash out at those around them?

There is no end to adversity and stress. If somebody can handle and direct that pressure well, then they are better than most.

Dust specks dance in the bright sunlight peeking through the blinds. The bed is warm yet cold. The sheets carry only your body lotion’s scent. The soft sheets nor do the blankets envelop you as you crave this morning. 

You miss the warm arms sleepily pulling you closer, lips slightly chapped that brush against your shoulder and neck. The stubble that draws laughter with your first breath when he nuzzles into you. The sleep laden smile that is whispered against your forehead. Cedar and amber surrounding you, grounding you. 

Unfortunately away on a mission leaving you pulling the pillows closer, burying your head into the piece of clothing that isn’t holding your favourite scent. Sighing against the pillowcase. 

The alarm clock has you know the date, it stares at you mockingly. Lifting up your phone does uplift your mood. A plethora of messages from the man who graces your lockscreen wearing the cat ears from the winter funfair you went to on a date for new years eve. 

You remember the laughter bubbling from your chest and Bucky’s scowl turning into a grin, the way he pulled you close, as snowflakes fell on your shoulders and hair as he kissed you senseless before stealing your phone from your back pocket and squishing his cheek to yours to take a picture. He catches the door in time before you shut it, “What do you mean? This is honestly,” He just stares at your bare legs again, licking his lips, “Doll, fuck, is this how you roam around when I’m not home?”

“I, um,” Your fingers gripping the sweatpants halfway up your legs and you look everywhere but at him, twisting your fingers you try to find the words, “I don’t like how pants feel… for the most part… sometimes I don’t like how…” you pause, the day would be ruined.

“So you mean to tell me, I could have had this glorious, gorgeous, and fucking beautiful sight greet me everytime I’m home?” He pushes the door open wider. 

Your cheeks heat, “B-Bucky you don’t have to say that, I know it’s just okay.” 

His brows furrow at your voice growing quieter.

Bucky walks over to you cradling your face, “Doll?” your eyes meet his, he’s smiling. Softness and tenderness wrap around your heart at his loving gaze, “Doll, you look absolutely beautiful and I don’t need you wrapped up in lingerie to appreciate the beautiful woman I have and call my girl.”

You smile at his words, “But sometimes I don’t think I look good like this.” your admission is met by his lips brushing over your forehead.

“Doll, some days with our bodies are hard, but you know how you remind me to love my body and be kind towards it? Thank it for getting me through so much?” He rewards you with another forehead kiss when you nod.

“I’m right here to remind you to be kind and loving towards your body. Maybe even give a physical demonstration to allow me to thank your gorgeous body.” He laughs when you swat his chest lightly.

“It will be a long road or a short one, it's different for everyone. I’ll be there for you, every step of the way.” He promises.

The crack in your confidence fills in the slightest, he was right it would be a while before you’d be fully confident, “Thank you for saying that, Bucky.”

“I hope you know I’m not just saying that, I believe it, and we’ll work on it so that you won’t have to depend on me to make you feel confident, you will be confident from within.” He assures, you kiss his cheek.

“But I want you there to be jaw dropped each time I’m without pants roaming around our place.” You let the hope for a future with him slip. 

“Trust me Doll, all my blood went to my dick when I saw you. I had this whole cute speech planned and it all flew out the window. I was tongue tied. I still am but thats only till I look at those fucking gorgeous legs again, want them wrapped around my head.”

You bite your bottom lip, “Really?” 

“Baby, keep those off. That is my gift for this year and the next several years.” He smiles as he affirms his own want for a future with you, “And if anyone made you believe otherwise then I’m going to change your belief today. Also then track down and beat the shit out of them for making my girl feel underappreciated and made doubt her beauty.” 

Bucky moves his hands from your face, grabbing your hips, in a fluid motion you’re propped up against the door, legs wrapped around him and you can feel his hardness. Your sweatpants are a forgotten article and thought.

“Can I play with your hair?”

Yoongi was no stranger to having you rake your hands through his hair so he thought nothing of saying yes to your request. He had no idea you’d take it this far, though.

“Baby, how much longer are you going to do this for?”

“Mm, just a few more minutes,” you answered his grumble with a hum as your fingers formed the locks into yet another style of your choosing.

Yoongi sighed. “You said that twenty minutes ago.”

“Look, just one more style and then I’ll leave you alone, promise!”

Your boyfriend didn’t know how to say no to you so all he could do was shake his head and remain still.

He hadn’t gotten a haircut in months, causing the strands to brush his cheeks and nearly cover the entirety of his neck. It was kind of bothering him but he could never find the time to book an appointment between concert preparations, writing music and spending time with you. Luckily, he was able to squeeze one in before rehearsals tomorrow afternoon, ready to have the pesky hair out of his way.

But when Yoongi gave you the news, you reacted like he told you your puppy had died.

You were becoming attached to his long locks, loving how they framed his soft cheeks. His bedhead was wilder than ever and you may have snuck a couple of pics to save for future lockscreens. And seeing him push it back whenever he had to focus on work? You were loving all of it so it sucked when he told you that he was getting a haircut tomorrow. But you quickly came up with a plan to indulge in his hair for a little longer.

Said plan involved you coming up to him in the Genius Lab with a bag of various hair ties and clips hiding behind your back, asking if you could play with his hair while he worked.

Yoongi was none the wiser until he felt a tension on his scalp, frowning as he paused his hands on the keyboard. He asked you what you were doing, leading you to fess up that you wanted to do more than run your fingers through his hair. You held a red and white polka-dotted hair tie in front of his face to emphasize it. Unsurprisingly, he gave in with a shrug, going back to creating tunes on his keyboard while you worked your magic.

So far, you gave your boyfriend a simple ponytail, a half-up, half-down ponytail, a couple of braids scattered throughout and two little buns on top (you purposefully made them pointed to resemble cat ears), making sure to take a picture of each one before moving on.

“Y/N, you’re acting like my hair is never long enough to do this.”

“Hush, it’s not the same. Seriously, when have you ever had it this long?”

Yoongi hummed. “Maybe back in high school?”

You sighed, tightening one of the elastics on the top of his head. “See, you don’t even sound sure about it. It’s your hair though so it’s your call–” An exaggerated sniffle came out. “Just know that it will be sorely missed!”

Your boyfriend chuckled, reaching a hand up to pat your arm. “There, there, at least you’ll have the memories.”

You giggled at his reassurance before rummaging in the bag to grab another hair tie. You decided to go a little extra with this last style, remembering that you had a special clip in there that would be perfect for him. Once you finished securing everything, you stepped back and clapped in triumph.

“All done!”

Yoongi sat up a little straighter now, reaching for his phone before turning the camera on. Once he reversed it and caught an eyeful of what you did, his eyes widened.

You had put most of his hair up into four separate pigtails, each tied up with bow-shaped hair ties of varying colors. You left part of his bangs out and attached snap clips close to his scalp but what caught his full attention was the one above them all. A black cat-shaped one with its smiling face etched in gold.

“What do you think?”

Yoongi’s lips twitched before a gummy smile formed on his face. Maybe he could let you do a few more hairstyles for the rest of the night.

“It’s perfect.”
