my little sister asked me if i’ve ever met taylor swift and of course i told her no but joking around (i mean it’s true but) i said “if that happened you would definitely know. My absolute sincerest apologies, but that specifically isn’t a topic I’m particularly comfortable speaking on at the moment because I have approximately zero knowledge of any food-specific trauma responses other than observing one person who will not be named and one of my dogs who used to be a stray. And as much as I love Dora I don’t think we want me comparing Fiona to a stray husky found on the streets of Texas growling at my other dog for getting too close to her food bowl and making me scared of her for a solid week. I will absolutely find time to research that (if I don’t forget) but as of now I don’t have an answer

the 'kids i adopted' are the group of teens i met today at pride, i call em that bc i said i self-adopted myself into their group, only to later find out their age range was like. 16 to 20. which means im 2 years older than the oldest one of them which LOGICALLY meant that ACTUALLY im the one who adopted all of them

the crib is bc dawn and i are expecting a baby :)

i also often mention 'my kids' which is about the children i work with, the 7 year olds i teach <3 theyre my students but i think most primary teachers refer to those kids as 'theirs' too so i think im still normal for that one

Trip gets pushed back a day late cause of weather. Grandpa and grandma get sick with norovirus the day we get here so we have to stay at my dad’s coworkers spare house while here. Grandpa has to go to the ER and into isolation. We spend a lot of today talking about how aunt and uncle are going to get grandparents back home. Night ends with dad’s fiancee throwing up in the car on the ride to drop us off back at spare house. 

Still a better, more relaxing vacation than any I’ve had with my mom.
