I feel silly now, I didn't realize that it was a running thing to misread your header. I just read it like that, and my first thought was "kinda weird, but in this fandom yeah I could see it" It took me 3 tries to read it right
Lovely anon I absolutely adore this running thing. It really did make my day. I think it’s something about the kerning in the default font they use for my default-ass theme, so don’t feel even a little silly for misreading it. You’re not alone anyway :P
#Anonymous#sideblob was a typo initially#like#it's not even a word#<3#and also yeah#this fandom hahaha

I just stumbled over the most Austrian expression ever: “Na”
"Na" is derived from "nein", the German word for no, but has assumed many different meanings within Austrian vernacular. A drawn-out "naaa" means "no", for example, but a short, incredulous "Na!" implies "That can't be true!". It gets confusing when people use "na" in an affirmative sense. "Na, eh" literally means "No, exactly", a commonexpression of approval in Austria. Then there is the linguistic gem of "na ja", which translates as "no yes" and is used to express a certain indifference, comparable to "oh well, I'm not really bothered".
"Na" can be used as an all-round question. Depending on the situation, it could be a request to explain who you are, why you are here, what you are doing, how you are feeling or what you are thinking. It can also be a call to action, comparable to "well, are you just going to stand there?".
#I am so sorry to everyone who has ever been to austria#this must be so confusing#and this is just a short list of what this word can be used for#I can't even explain what it exactly means#it's not even a word#it's just ... something

I don't know why we'd ban the word "feminism" when people still say "guesstimate" with impunity.

I always think Gravity Falls is a ridiculous name and then I remember that I literally have relatives from a place called Gravity in Iowa
#and also nothing is dumber than the fact that my home town is literally not even#it's not even a word#it's just made up to be a vaguely-spanish-sounding word
