It’s been an eventful week for Montana Jordan. Five days after Young Sheldon wrapped its seven-season run, the 21-year-old actor and his partner, Jenna Weeks, have welcomed their first child into the world.

“God has blessed me with a beautiful babygirl,” Jordan, who plays Georgie Cooper, wrote on Instagram. “Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”

The post was flooded with congratulatory comments, including several from Jordan’s Young Sheldon family.

“I can’t wait to meet her!!” Iain Armitage (aka Sheldon) wrote. “I’ve always wanted to be an uncle!! So happy for you!! Congratulations.”

That was followed by comments from Jordan’s TV in-laws, Rachel Bay Jones and Will Sasso, who will reprise their roles as Audrey and Jim McAllister on the highly anticipated spinoff, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

“Honey!!!!! Congratulations!!!!” Jones commented.

“Beauuuuutiful!” Sasso said. “Congrats Jenna and Montana!”

Jordan also received best wishes from his Big Bang Theory counterpart, Jerry O’Connell, who wrote: “Congrats Papa!”

The Young Sheldon Instagram account shared the photo to its Instagram Story, writing: “From on-screen dad to IRL dad ❤️ Congratulations.”

whats your favorite plant/flower? and maybe some of the symbolism behind it?

AHHHH THANK U!!!!!! my fav flower is smth I think about a lot. my current fav, tho, is probably amaryllis (pronounced like am-uh-RILL-is btw). I WISH I had one, but the temps where I live are so high, it wouldn’t do great cuz they like average temps (in growth) and low 40s (in dormancy). for lighting it needs darkness (in dormancy) and medium light in growth. it’s a BEAUUUUUTIFUL winter or spring bloomer….n it almost looks like a lily. blooms in clusters and it has different colors + species.

they often symbolize stuff involving strength, ie pride/determination, which is something I LOVE in plant symbolism. OH YEAH AND “AMARYLLIS” IS A GREEK NAME AND IT MEANS “TO SPARKLE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK ALSO my fave plant (specifically houseplants tho) is smth kinda hard to answer. I like butterfly palms (always wanted one but never got one), chinese evergreen (I have one Yas), avocado trees (i messed mine up when I tried growing my own), prayer plants (I have one…I always do tho), and rubber plants (I also have one). I used to always wish I had a butterfly palm and I never ended up getting one. here’s what they look like

i know they usually have rather positive connotations stemming from Ancient Rome and Greece? but I’m not too sure on symbolism outside of flowers.

one of the prettiest houseplants that is very easy to take care of is pothos. they usually live from 5-10 years. they’re pretty resilient! they love bright indirect light. And get this: they can literally rapidly adapt to their environment, their cell functions can change just from their conditions and everything. they are simple to manage— every time you water them, you should let the soil dry out first (so every 1-2 weeks or so). you don’t need to mist it either. they’re also beautiful, so I would rly recommend this if you are chronically ill, disabled, elderly, very depressed, have executive dysfunction, etc etc.

another resilient and pretty plant is a peace lily. they come in a couple different colors. I know someone who’s had the same HUGE peace lily pot for like 15 years. I’d recommend this if you’ve just started liking plants and are currently obsessed with them, because it loves humidity and to ALWAYS have moist soil. if it’s not wet, the tips of the leaves tend to turn brown which is bad. to help with humidity, I recommend sphagnum moss on the soil. they love misting.

if you want a plant that you can walk past and mist if you wanna, but can’t bring urself to water it directly v often? I recommend something like a spider plant. They’re pretty interesting and you’ve probably seen one before. they like to be misted very often, but they only need to be directly watered after the soils dried. it’s like pothos care but for executive dysfunction.

my fav plant as far as symbolism goes? probably daffodils and hyacinth, mainly for its themes of forgiveness. if you didn’t know, that’s why I usually draw daffodils w/ basil when I get the chance. also: something something white egret orchid something something.

Turns out I've never seen this before, or else it's been many years since I last saw it, but I just watched it and I have some thoughts:

JESUS CHRIST, I didn't recognize Alice at first. (They're all wearing quite a bit of makeup, but I really don't remember watching any other Fanny performances where Alice was wearing makeup so I was like 'WHO TF IS THE DRUMMER?' and then I realized it was Alice and I felt bad, lol)

Speaking of makeup...I mean, Nickey's whole getup feels rather Elton John, only Nickey's makeup is better than Elton's glasses, lol. (And it's just a coincidence that Elton is also a pianist.)

June is fucking gorgeous, someone hold me, please. Or, "COME AND HOLD MEEEEEE". 🥹

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I'm hearing "All Mine" live even though Youtube is now first and foremost suggesting live versions of "All Mine" when I searched for "All Mine Fanny"??? and ohhhhhhh my goooooosh it's so lovely.

Funny that I didn't recognize Alice visually at first, and yet few drummers are as fucking solid - and recognizably so - as Alice de Buhr.

The ending to "All Mine" live is beauuuuutiful, oh my gosh.

I noticed especially during "Last Night I Had a Dream" that their vocals could've been turned up...A LOT. :( The harmonies that Jean and June do during that song, especially, are fucking gorgeous and I feel like the instrumentation drowned them out a lot.

I love at the beginning of "Last Night I Had a Dream" how June did that atmospheric thing on her guitar in place of the synthesizer (on the studio recording).

Also, dear GOD when Nickey literally screams and June's guitar answers with its own scream- FUUUUCK there go the hairs all standing up on my arms! (In a good way!)

cheering for me bcs i have done so much cleaning that is helping our brain :-)

i cleaned the kitchen bcs it was so fucking nasty since my dad n sister dont clean At All. and so it's really hard for me and wife to cook!! even making coffee in there is hard sometimes! so i cleared the counters and wiped everything down and have been chipping away at dishes (and trying to encourage them to do their damn dishes by putting on the little whiteboard whether the dishwasher is clean or dirty so maybe they will put things in when its got room!!!!!!!!!!!!!! instead of putting dirty dishes in the sink!!!!!!!!!!)

and i cleaned our room so the floor has room for yoga again (havent done any yet but i want to before i go to works) and got rid of allllllll our trash and folded all our clothes so no more are living on the end of the bed.

and i even scooped the litter boxes (my dad changes them but will NOT scoop them even tho it would make management easier!!! and the cats would be happier about using them -_-)

andddddddd... i have been loving my bird feeder and watching the birds that come... it's gone from only cardinals to having them + finches, chickadees, song sparrows, and a mourning dove yesterday! and there is a robin living in our wisteria who has 4 beauuuuutiful eggs! i hope they hatch soon <3
