extra thoughts about the designs below the cut !! (basically my reasoning)

for sun and moon because their designs are very similar:

i dunno i always thought that the only similarities they had between their outfits before was the style, rather than the colouring, and sharing a body and all there had to be a more practical way for them to be dressed for whenever they switch

the ruffles are now the same on both of them

the slacks straps are red on the outside blue on the inside

don't ask how the sleeves change

the earringa are sentimental and at the current point in tsams lore, the star earring on sun fell of to represent whatever going on between him and lunar atm. at first they only had one earring each, one for each of them, but when lunar because their brother he also wanted one and they already had the four-point star on their outfit so chose that

for eclipse because i have entirely separate thoughts about him:

he copies the way sun and moon dress mostly to mock them, and slightly cause he's used to it from being in sun's body. he does it to mock them as a way to remind them where he came from, because as much as they don't like him, they're who he came from, plus kc, so anything they don't like about him are also bad traits of theirs, or so he thinks

but, his colours are shifted slighty more red, even the ones he copies from sun and moon as a way to remind them that even if they are all alike, they're still different in some ways,, for example he thinks he's better, and smarter

but he doesn't get the earrings because he's lonely <33

he's also like a balance between both of them design wise because yknow, eclipse so he has both blue and yellow on his fingers, his slack straps are on his top set of arms, etc.

he's slighty more sun based because he spent time in sun's body for so long, and not moon's

I love reading this blog but as an ace person why is solarmoon such a big deal? This show isn't really popular in terms of mainstream media and is just a subculture of a subculture, why are we not focusing this energy into Jughead from Archie not being aroace anymore and removing that from the comics that seems like it's worth the effort and debate.

I'm sorry but Davis and Reed don't have as much power over the influences as you all think they do they just have control over the world they built that wasn't even entirely there's in the first place.

I have never been too particularly fond of the Eclipse idea, ever. The only way I could somewhat enjoy it is it being a fuck up mix between Sun and Moon's switching process.

Personally I think they just have color changing stuff, but a long time ago I imagined a full physical process, so i finally drew it out!!

Descriptor if the image is hard to follow:

First, Sun's arms contract towards his chest, and his rays begin to retract. The upper part of their body is forced open, throwing their head back. Moon's hat is thrown out of the cavity and lands onto Moon's head. attaching via magnet.

Sun's arms fold completely into the chest cavity, then to have Moon's unfold and move out of the chest cavity. Once they are out, the chest cavity closes and the arms slide upwards into place. This same process repeats in reverse when they switch back.

All the fabrics and stuff are still just color changing.

So an ECLIPSE is this process malfunctioning, or getting stuck. Causing both pairs of arms to be out, causing the chest cavity to be slightly agape. Due to the strain on their joints from the position their arms and chest are stuck in, it does make them slightly taller!

Sun's rays and Moon's hat are both out as well as their personalities. They have to coordinate with one another to move and speak. When Moon speak's there is an underlying Sun voice as well- and when Sun speaks Moon's voice underlies it as well? Causing nicknames like Starlight and Sunshine to sound mixed into Starshine.

Again, I believe their actual process is FAR simpler with color changing bodies, but this has always been a neat way of looking at it

Sometimes I listen to canon Gabriel quotes to imagine it as Centiclipse and this one reminded me of a silly dynamic between him and Lunara I've rotated for a while but never rlly posted about. so here's a silly video abt it LMAO

Thinking about how now all of times they highlight differences between the twins, and that it is their differences that determined their fate. Bloody (Davis' twin) who lives Harvest (Reed's twin) who dies They both liked violence, but Harvest has always been more sadistic. Bloody gets to the point tearing their enemies apart, Harvest makes a point to talk about torturing FC as Foxy watches today. Neither wanted to give up violence, but Harvest is the one who rants about how they'll never change today. Speaking for the both of them, speaking over them. Bloody who didn't believe they could be killed so easily, even with the bomb in their head. Harvest who knew they could be killed, but didn't care because the other would keep going (right?). Bloody who is more anxious, who has a fear Frank forced them to face. Harvest who had no such fear, that Frank didn't say a word to.

Bloody lives Harvest dies. No person left to kill for revenge, just the knowledge that they are stuck undeniably alone.

Soooo... If Forkface shows up in the Seraphim AU...

This was bouncing around my mind even before the most current episode of the Lunar and Earth show, but now it's more solidified.

Seraphim Eclipse got his own interdimensional portal working eventually although he's still dealing with the repercussions of it; namely the weird crap that occasionally comes through.

It's after hours on one such day; both Bloodmoon and Lunar actually opted to turn in early. While Seraphim Eclipse remained up, he was just sitting quietly amidst a stack of freshly arrived Manga issues and some oranges... When he hears his portal activate and Forkface stumbles out. Having been thrown through the portal again.

Eclipse may stop mid bite of his orange but he doesn't move. He just kinda stares at Forky... And the strange critter exists the ballpit and just stares back at Seraphim... and breathing in a labored manner.

It's easy to see in his locked up face, that he's got tears just cascading...

After all, he's pretty much hated by everyone in his home universe. He's mute, he's regularly treated like a creep when he's trying to be helpful, thrown through portals... and now the one person who cared about him was killed.

He's twisting his hands, not sure what to do before slowly just looking at Eclipse. He can't say anything, he's obviously terrible at communicating.

But Seraphim Eclipse is pretty well versed in pain and misery...

He very slowly lifts up his huge wings and pats the padded ground next to him. Which you don't need to speak to understand.

Wordlessly, Forkface (Or Frank as he is also called) just walks over and sits next to the much larger animatronic and Seraphim drapes those big wings over him, letting him rest. His wings radiate soothing warmth, it's like laying out in the sun on a summer day. Seraphim Eclipse then just returned to reading his Manga.

...the language of someone in desperate need of comfort, is one where words aren't really needed...
