this is so random but for my horror movie lovers out there: i can't stop thinking about caleb as ghostface... and he becomes obsessed with final girl!MC but ultimately decides not to hurt her. y'know, some classic stalking would be involved, maybe a little fearplay, but at the end of the day he just wants to steal her away from the rest of the world and have her to himself

and maybe he can go on his little killing sprees if it means wiping the earth of any idiots who look at her the wrong way

I think Gaz has some hidden talent no one knows about. Maybe he draws. Or he plays bass guitar or something like a flute. Hell, even piano. I think there is some artistic inclination he has that he doesn't really announce.

If he's on base, I think he finds Soap. Especially if they both draw. Soap is really the only one outside of his sisters and mom who know about any of this. And they both have lots of hard times sleeping, so they naturally always just stay up together. It's a special thing they both hold dear.

If he's more musically inclined, he can really only indulge that when he's home. But he still seeks Soap out whenever he can. The Scot is good at morale boosting.

I think one time, Soap was indisposed, and so Gaz went to the common room alone. Only to find Ghost there. Gaz ended up rambling blindly and unintentionally, feeling bad because Ghost didn't say anything. But when he stopped, Ghost told him to keep going.

I think LT really likes to take care of his sergeants, and no one really knows that. Once again, it's a sacred routine that no one but Gaz and Ghost know about. And soon enough, Gaz gets comfortable enough to start indulging with Ghost more.

If you see Gaz calling Ghost on leave, no, you didn't. Ghost looks forward to it because it makes him feel like he's doing something right if his subordinates look up to him. And it gets him out of his own head.

Help, now I made myself sad thinking about Soap biting the dust and Gaz and Ghost seeking comfort in each other.

We need more Gaz and Ghost representation.

For some reason, I feel like Gaz hesitates to seek out Price??? Idk, that's what my brain is telling me right now. Not because he doesn't feel close with Price, I just think there's such a strong relationship there that Gaz doesn't want Price to see him as weak or whatever.

Does that make sense????

He also believes that Price might tell him to just suck it up. They all get nightmares. So he doesn't want to bother him. The man is always working in his office, and Gaz doesn't want to add to the stress load.

With Soap it's easy to seek him out. They're close in age, the Scot is open about struggles, sometimes tells them all too much detail. If Soap ever judged him for having a nightmare or whatever, then he must have really smacked his head.

Ghost is an accidental thing, and it turns out alright. Brings them closer together.

If Gaz had an opportunity like that with Price, I think he'd realize that the man can be a good advice giver.

Soap distracts him, Ghost is the listening ear, and Price could be the guidance if Gaz would just give in.

I’m watching The Hunger Games tonight and just realized that, beyond being an amazing book and movie series, it also features one of my favorite tropes at its core—fake dating!

So my sweet boy decided to make his grand entrance a couple of weeks early (5 weeks to be exact).

After an absolutely wild birth that I’m sure the trauma of will hit me later and a stay in the NICU we are home and doing well.

I’m finally not throwing up 20+ times a day and can use my brain again, which means hopefully I can start writing again, gotta take advantage of those late night feeds.

I just want to express my love to everyone who messaged me/checked in on me while I was pregnant, I appreciate it so much.

Motherhood has been rough man. Very rough. My daughter coming earlier than expected really messed with me. I thought I had more time to prepare a little more. But that wasn't in her plan lol. Having ADHD has made it a lot harder too. Just HAVING to pay as much attention as I can to her has been super stressful. With cats and kittens you can just kind of ignore them when you get overwhelmed by them. A baby is so much different I feel like I can't take my eyes off of her for even a second. But in the end I know this will get better. It has to. I have to. For her...

I'm curious: does the new sims 2 release fix the holiday stuff pack? For people who don't know, the Ultimate Collection was supposed to include both of the Happy Holidays stuff packs. But they aren't really stuff packs, they're just bundles with an edited base game property set edit so the clothes, hair, and the Santa makeup show up. Except they didn't include the property set for the second stuff pack, so all of that stuff was hidden. Just checking in—

Hey there, it’s been awhile since I’ve been active online. Just wanted to drop by and say yes, I’m still alive (just taking things easy when it comes to my online presence). Life has been busy with work and future plans. I’ve graduated college, been working full time, traveled a bit, and am working towards my long term career goals! 🙌 All of which has left me little time and energy to devote to my creative projects. 🥲

That being said, I have plenty to share when it comes to creative works. I oftentimes look over my art channel and realize how little I’ve actually posted despite having years of artwork and story bits archived (does anyone else do this?). I want to share polished pieces, but they often require weeks of effort and time that I struggle to find during my busy schedule. For the sake of my personal wellbeing I have not pushed myself to create deadlines for these projects since they are an outlet I do for personal enjoyment, but I know it can be frustrating to go months at a time between posts/updates.

While I’m still trying to reignite that creative spark, I don’t want to lose contact with the community that I’ve found myself to be a part of for years now. I want to thank everyone that has supported me even through these dry seasons. Y’all mean the world to me.

For now though, I would love to just connect. Sit down to rest for a moment in this corner of the internet. How is life? What things have fascinated you lately? What stories have captured your heart?

Is it weird how I kind of want to see more characters that fail to change? I mean, I love a lot of character development as much as the next person but I don't see enough media that shows how hard change can actually be. Even if a character goes through an arc and struggles with their development over the course of the arc they still end up prevailing and succeeding in the end. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, I think it's very important to show that change is possible. But not everyone changes. Some people can try their hardest to change themselves and still feel like they're stuck and there's this 'thing' inside of them (I know I'm so good at explaining) that just won't allow them to change, because convincing your brain to change up everything it's known is so much harder than I often see portrayed. I still love my character arcs, but I wanna see more arcs that don't reach a satisfying ending.
