HELLO I’M A BIG FAN!! I’ve loved Comm since 7th grade, and I’m in college now. I’ve been reading fanfics since then but I don’t read many actual romance novels. I read the hating game when it came out and wanted to ask you for some recommendations of where to go from there for books like that. What are your favorites?

I have a Beginner’s Guide to Romance post that has a bunch of my favorites. Those are more strict romance than Hating Game-esque chick lit books, so for direct comparisons to that, the best ones I can think of now are Sophie Kinsella, Kristan Higgins, Helen Hoang, Lucy Parker, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and Julie James. Hope some of those are new to you!

Today has been such a hard day. It was the first time in over 3 years that I was so disappointed with people I work with. Tonight I have such a heavy hurt heart.
