Invader Zim scenario HEADCANONS:

Zim can eat as much as GIR can, but chooses not to, because it’s “impolite”

Zim and dib have “special no fight days” where they hang out or whatever like 4 days out of the month, except summer where it’s 5, when those land on school days the skoolkids act like the raptures coming

Keef once dramatically professed his love for zim in front of everyone (flowers a huge ass speech etc) and zim promptly threw up and beat Keef up after school for embarrassing him. Keef though he was playing hard to get (he was not. There was no love involved whatsoever.)

Zim fucking loves earth pastries, he will postpone his “evil plans” if dib bribes him with a couple of cupcakes.

^ when zim, gaz and dib were at a state fair, zim entered a pie eating contest, he just wanted pie, but it was the worst thing dib and gaz ever witnessed, he ate 3 pies in 5 minutes. It looked like the dark harvest but with blueberry pies. Dib still can’t eat pie, but zim did win.

Zim actually likes girs soap waffles, he just eats them in moderation

Since doughnuts are rarities for the tallest, the first time zim had a doughnut was when letter M brought them in for his birthday, zim was confused, ate it, and promptly cried at how delicious it was, like full on nearly sobbing, (his classmates were like “BRO?” “Is you good??!!”)

Membrane once invited zim over for dinner, because “he’s such a polite young man! With his passion for science, he’s a wonderful influence for you dib!” And zim was well behaved, dib however…..

Gaz and zim once played cuphead together, after fighting over who got to be cuphead (gaz won) they played… two dumbasses with anger problems playing a rage game…. Membrane and dib curled into a corner and cried of fear

Zim can cook actually really well because his time on foodcourtia, he just does not like to. He once cooked for a schools bake sale and dib accused him of buying it.

Zim hacked into the membranes Netflix account, and for some reason it cannot be removed, like he hardwired it into the account.

Zim and gaz and GIR Play video games together, (Minecraft, Roblox, supersmash bros, Mario kart and animal crossing are their specialties) “GAZ DONT CONSPIRE WITH THE ENEMIES!!” “Shut the fuck up GIR just found diamonds and if we don’t get to him he’s gonna die and lose them in lava”

Things that aren't canon but I can't unimagine anyway: Zim would excel in the art of drag and can TEAR IT UP on the dance floor if he really wanted to

Mostly because he's a big dramatic ham who could EXCEL at performance if he put his whole spooch into it, partially because he doesn't identify with or comprehend human genders anyway

I noticed in that scene from ETF Zim say "¡Vamonos!" (in spanish he say "Let's go!") and i wanted to do this because yes

I think he needed to learn how to speak spanish when he was loose in, idk, any country where the people speaks spanish (who knows how long was the drive lol) and now knows a little of it. Anyways i headcanon he say some words in spanish now but sometimes he say it wrong or pronounce it wrong

Personal headcanon about Zim and Dib:

Zim saved Dib's life by showing up to Earth. (Even if neither one knows.)

My proof/reason why? How Dib acted when Zim showed up and in the Pilot episode. He seemed to be on the verge of insanity/desperation to me. Not to mention that Dib's desperation and insanity seemed to ... ease as time went on? Don't get me wrong, Zim and Dib torment each other, but they also seem to help each other in a way. 😅

I'll come back to this if I have a better way of explaining it. 💖 If anyone has a better way to put this then feel free. 🌹

This week on random headcanons no one asked for; Irken saliva is corrosive

Ocular implants and pak headcanons; This is kind of a stream of consciousness post

Irkens are born with organic eyes, but they are replaced very very early. Like, before they are 'born' and given a pak kind of early.

They are implanted while the Irken smeet is still in their test tube. All done by robotics in the smeet incubation chambers. This is to ensure that when a smeet is hatched and given a pak, the pak can instantly connect and a smeet can see perfectly in an instant.

If an Irken was hatched with their organic eyes, they would not be fully developed and would not be in a position to function independently.

Fully Organic smeets, without a pak, would survive past hatching. But they would need to be taken care of from birth by a parental figure. Unable to see properly or take care of themselves at all - for at least a few weeks.

Paks and other implants make a smeet fully independent. Over time, they have become a crutch of the Irken race - and are unable to be removed once installed. They power too much of the little space bug to function without it. But an irken born unaltered, and taken care of through the early stages of life would survive.

The control brains of course would have them hunted down and killed if discovered.

hc with zero evidence but one that I have sunk my teeth way too far into is that the invention of PAKs meant that Irkens just very quickly (from an evolution standpoint) just nerfed a load of their internal organs to the point where one part of their torso is basically just s p i n e

What if the name Dib when translated from Irken to Earthen actually is Mary? Like Irk has a lot of one syllable three letter names so It's highly likely Dib is one of them used just maybe not very often perhaps?

This isn't a really long "analysis" or theory/headcanon, even less a good one (?), but i find it curious

It's like some comics, episodes and included the movie are directly or indirectly connected when we talk about different universes. Like the Dib-Irken in the official comic and the Dib-Irken from the movie, or muscle Zim in the comic 32 and that muscle Zim in the Zimvoid... I don't know if i'm saying this correctly, BUT! i like this

It wasn't the idea of the whole franchise? very probably. All of this is a specie of coincidence? very probably too. But honestly this was one of the first things i thought when i started to read the comics

Hey what do you think the irken lenguaje sounds like?

Ooh, that's tough! I like to think it sounds like a rapid series of chirps and clicks and high-pitched throat vibrations, like insects chittering but a little squeakier, and a bit like how cats can sometimes chirp at people mixed in. Unsettling, insect-like, kind of cute in a weird way? Yeah. That's my Irken language headcanon I guess! :'D

Throw in some random screeching for good measure. Every couple of chittery syllables/words, just some screeching too.
