In 2006, Rockpool Games began work on a 2D #Mobile #J2ME version of the #N64 cult hit Glover. Though it may not have gotten far past early tiles and maps, some visuals survive thanks to ex-Ocean artist Bill Harbison.

in the java version of spore origins, if you dont have any spores saved (due to not completing the evolution mode, or not importing any, or killing all your spores), the quick battle option in the arena mode will just randomly generate entirely new spores for every round. normally it picks 2 of your saved spores randomly to fight each other

i covered this before with regards to having only 1 spore, where quick battle will always gave that spore fight a random opponent, but i only just discovered both opponents will be randomized if you just dont have spores

curiously it still treats the first spore (the one that the camera starts out following, which also has a health bar on the left) as "you"

It was actually way simpler than setting up Shadowkey, which was surprising. I downloaded the j2me emulator on my phone (android OS) then loaded up a version of the game I downloaded to my phone files from the internet archive
