Summary: After the reader survives an encounter with a vampire, they are still haunted by the memories of it. Luckily, they have a caring and protective friend who is always ready to ensure they feel safe and cared for, even in the middle of the night.
Wrong place, wrong time.
You squeeze your eyes shut, hoping to erase the terrible images invading your brain. For a week now, they have been omnipresent, taking up all the space in your mind. They are the center and focal point of your thoughts for days on end. As you open them again, your vision adjusts to the darkness just enough for your gaze to fall on a strange form crouched in the corner of your bedroom. You could swear it’s alive. Swear it’s stalking you.
You jump out of your bed to turn your nightlamp on. Your heart feels like it might spring out of your chest of its own accord. Your breath is short, and for a moment, you think you’ll never be able to take one that will actually get air in your system.
The menacing form in the corner turned out to be a pile of dirty clothes, but you knew that. Since that day, you feel irrational and paranoid. Everything feels like a threat, and you are now constantly looking over your shoulder, paying close attention to any suspicious sound or absence of it. You’ve talked about it with Harry Clearwater when you unexpectedly met at the Reservation one day. You did not hear him coming, and he had set his heavy hand on your shoulder to get your attention. Which resulted in a glass shattering scream for you and a bad fright for the poor man. As he invited you in for a calming cup of tea, you unloaded the weight on your shoulder to him. It felt good to talk about it, knowing you could never do so with your dad and your friends. He assured you that it unfortunately was a very normal reaction from your nervous system. You had faced the world's most dangerous predator and had survived it without a single scratch. Of course it would take some time for your traumatized brain to go back to normal. You could never take credit for the fact that you even had a chance to go back to normal, and would never attempt to do so. Knowing very well that without Paul, Jared, and Embry’s arrival, you would not have lived to talk about this encounter.
When you focus and let your mind drift off, you can live the event again, as if you were back in time. The paralyzing fear, the blood in your veins feeling like icy water. There was nothing to be done against a creature like that. You remember the horror you felt as everything became silent around you. You were headed to Emily's cabin, a simple, straightforward walk through the woods. The birds suddenly stopped singing, even the soft wind had died down. The forest knew it was in the presence of something truly horrible and had seemed to hold its breath, along with every creature. The color of its eyes was like in every legend you had been told; crimson red, like fresh blood. Not one ounce of humanity in those orbs, just a bottomless pit of cruelty and hunger. The worst thing was the pull you remember feeling for a split second toward that monster. You knew it was its sole purpose, but felt embarrassed you had fallen for it. Shivers crawled down your spine as you recalled its ethereal and hypnotizing appearance. It’s like you can hear again the faint swooshing sound it made as it sprang towards you. You remember sending out a quick prayer to literally any entity who would be listening right now, but the blow never came. Next thing you knew, three giant beasts tackled it to the ground, gnarling and dismembering it in a matter of seconds.
You open your eyes and shake your head to try and physically get those horrible memories outside of your skull. You lay back in bed, anxiously watching every corner of your room for some sign of danger. You left the light open, you knew there was no chance you could fall asleep without it. You tucked yourself back in bed and tried to calm your breathing. You tried every technique you knew, hoping sleep would grace you with its embrace, but nothing worked.
You look back at the clock after a while. 1:15 am. It was too late for you to get out of bed, and morning was still so far away. You had school the next day and knew that if you spent one more night without sleeping, you wouldn’t be able to explain to your teachers why you dozed off again in their class without them calling your father.
In a last effort, you tried thinking about reassuring and comforting things. Curiously enough, one kept coming back to mind. A giant wolf, its fur a multitude of shades of brown and red. Its eyes were sweet and reassuring, containing a particular warmth. You looked at your phone, hesitating, but remembered his voice: “If there’s absolutely anything, call me okay?”
And so you did.
Twenty minutes later, you got a text. You quietly walked to your window, glad to see Jacob’s familiar shape outside your house. He was standing next to a tree, representing for once a friendly and reassuring shadow in the night.
He spoke quietly. “Having trouble sleeping?”
You nodded, a bit ashamed to admit such an infantile fear. Although, deep inside, you knew there was nothing childish about being afraid of the monster you had been warned about as a child, once you had come face to face with it.
“Are you sure you want to do this? I'd totally understand if you'd rather not stay. I mean it's late and you need to sleep. I don't know what I was thinking…”
“Don't be ridiculous." he cut you off. "I’m already here. And once you’ve been asleep for a long time, I’ll go home and catch up on my beauty sleep, okay?”
You knew it wouldn’t take much convincing from him, there was no point in lying. You needed him. You needed the reassurance and sense of security he always brought you.
"If you're sure then… but Jake. You won't leave too soon uh?"
You heard his low chuckle in the distance.
“I promise.”
You slowly and quietly closed your window. The last thing you would want is for your father to wake up and see Jacob standing below your window. You looked back outside, only to see a giant russet wolf had replaced your tall friend. He was standing under the covers of the woods. Forks was a tranquil little city, but you could never be too careful. He gave you a quick nod, encouraging you to go back to bed. You sent him a little thumbs up before heading to your fort of blankets and pillows.
As stupid as it might have seemed, you did feel a thousand times better knowing that Jacob was right outside, watching over you like a guardian angel. To your surprise, sleep quickly came to you, and you fell into its black hole without any resistance.
//
You’re in a dark forest, running and running and running. You can’t breathe, your hands are bloody, everything hurts. All you can hear is an echoing, cold, cruel laugh. You trip over a root and fall. Something is rushing through the dark woods, coming at you. You get back up and run in the opposite direction, but it feels like you’re not getting any further, like you're running in place. You scream for help, calling out for Jacob, Paul, Embry, Jared, ANYONE, HELP ME. But no one answers, you’re alone, and you’re about to die a horrible death. You trip once more, your leg hurts like hell, there’s no point trying to get up again. You turn around to try and decipher who, what, is running after you. Suddenly, in the dark void of the night, all you can see is that horrifying pair of bloodthirsty eyes. You let out one last scream as it sinks its teeth into your skin. //
“Y/n, y/n, wake up! It’s okay I’m here, Y/n!”
You try to run out of bed but feel a strong pair of arms holding you back. The embrace is warm and smells familiar, but you’re not controlling your limbs anymore. Your whole body is in flight mode. Luckily, the thing (person?) holding you back is strong enough to withstand it, and even though you try as hard as you can to run away, your feet aren't even touching the ground anymore.
“Y/nn, Y/n, shhh. It’s okay, I’m here, it’s me. It’s Jacob.”
You focus on the reassuring tone of the voice and try to convince yourself you're not in the woods anymore. You can see your surroundings poorly illuminated by your little mushroom night light. You're in your room, you’re safe, you’re okay.
Your breathing is still fast and shallow. You blink a few times. Sometimes, the vision surrounding you is one of the cold woods. On other, it's the familiar vision of your room. You slowly turn to face your friend’s face. His brows are furrowed, and his traits have worry written on them in bold letters. He scans you, not quite letting go of your body. Too scared you might start screaming and running again.
“Jake?” “Yes, hi. Welcome back. You really scared me there Y/n.” “What- what are you doing in here? What happened?” Your tone is feeble, and you feel exhausted. You look around once more, afraid this might be some other kind of twisted and terrifying nightmare.
“Am I still dreaming?” You dare to ask. “No, you are awake. We’re in your room. You asked me to come to keep an eye on you, remember?”
You nod, still unsure. What if this was a dream inside a dream? What if the warm limbs of your friend suddenly turned ice cold? What if you looked at him and his eyes turned red, fangs slightly poking his lips?
He can see doubt dancing in your eyes. You don't trust him, or yourself. He holds up his palms towards you, trusting you won't bolt and run.
“See for yourself. I’m real, you can touch me.”
You reach a hesitating finger, carefully poking his own. Seems real enough, feels real. It's warm, the skin is wonderfully tanned, familiar. You’ve seen those hands at work a thousand times. You know them by heart. You poke his cheek, and he gives you a tender smile.
“Convinced?”
You nod once more, letting out a sigh you didn’t know you were holding, as your legs start to shake. That's the thing about dreams, isn’t it? Even if it’s only happening inside your head, your body reacts to it as if it were actually living it. You look at your hands, feeling reminiscent of the pain as if you did scorch them in the woods.
He interrupts your thoughts with a low and soft voice. “Come back in bed. I’ll tuck you in.”
He wraps your hands with his huge ones. They’re warm and feel incredibly good. You let him guide you back to your toasty blankets, but instead of leaving, he takes a spot next to you, shielding you from the window.
“What are you doing?” You ask with a timid voice. “I’m keeping an eye on you, dummy.” Your feet are poking from under the covers. You move to offer him a bit of coverage, but he declines. He is already hot enough as he is, although he can’t deny that his heart seemed to grow a size or two at the kind gesture.
You wait a minute before asking how he ended up in your room. You're not sure you want to know, but curiosity wins over embarrassment.
His expression darkens for a second before he starts talking. “I was just keeping guard outside when I heard a noise. You were calling for me… I didn’t even think, I just got in. You were twitching in your bed. I tried to calm you down, I didn't want it to wake up Charlie, but nothing would do. I was about to forcefully wake you, but you ran out of bed and woke up by yourself.”
“Oh.” You finally let after a few seconds of silence.
“Yup.”
Unconsciously, you're not sure, he took ahold of your hand and lightly played with your fingers. He finally lifted his gaze from your joined hands to look at you, all caring and reassuring. You slide in closer to him. All you want is to feel his comforting warmth and maybe offer him as much as you can too. You feel so bad for worrying him so much. He opens up his arms and cradles you in a bear hug. He won't say it out loud, but he's also in dire need of comfort.
You match your breathing to him, and for the first time in a little while, you’re not scared, not even a little bit. If only you could stay like this forever.
After a few minutes of silence, in which you almost fell asleep, you hear him whisper.
“I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I should have been there. I should have protected you. I’m so sorry, you don't even know.”
“It’s not your fault Jake.” You mumble, and realize you're telling the truth. These are more than empty words. Never has it crossed your mind that this might have been his fault.
“It partially is, if I didn’t drag you into all this you might have been far away. Safe, away from monsters most people don't even know exist."
“I chose to follow you into this Jake. I would be lying if I said this wasn't one of the most horrifying experiences of my life, but it was not your fault. Please get that idea out of your head, okay? I’ll get over it. I guess I just need some time, as Harry said.”
You feel almost fully awake again. He nods, but you know you haven't convinced him. The look on his face is one of guilt, one you've come to know more and more since you learned about his secret. He mindlessly played with a feather poking out of your duvet, avoiding your gaze. Once again, you realized how mature he looked, while still being so young. Too young to carry such heavy burdens. You wanted to hammer the idea out of his thick skull, but you knew there was nothing to do about it tonight. Jacob felt responsible for what happened to you, and convincing him of the opposite would take some time.
Your eyes focused on his tanned skin, and you suddenly became hyper-aware that he was in your bed while only wearing his jeans short.
You inched away of him. “Uhm, want a shirt? I’m sorry, I didn't even think that, since you were in your wolf form, you uh… wouldn’t have one?” You let out an awkward laugh. You were used to seeing him like this, but it was different when you were both lying in bed together in a space that felt so intimate.
“That's nice of you Y/n, but I don't think I'd actually fit into one of your shirts.” He snickers as you get up. You're still wrapped in a blanket as you forage in the pile of clothes next to your bed. You get out of it with a dark cotton t-shirt in hand. It's humongous for you, but you know it will fit Jake like a glove. Probably because it is one of his own.
“There, dummy.” You hand him the t-shirt before jumping back in bed to wrap yourself properly, like a human burrito.
He looks at the piece of clothing and then at you for a good 10 seconds. “You still have this?”
He genuinely looks surprised, but his expression seems mixed with a hint of… satisfaction?
You nod, your nose and eyes being the only part of your anatomy still out of the blankets. You still remember the day he lent you that shirt when you had been caught in the rain at La Push. You never returned it to him, loving the way the gigantic piece of clothing felt on you.
He didn't add anything else before putting the shirt on. “It smells a lot like you.” He adds, a slight tremor in his voice.
“That might be because I wear it a lot to sleep.” You shamefully admit. Your words are nothing more than a whisper, but you know he didn’t have any trouble hearing them. You pull the covers even higher, trying to hide the blush creeping on your cheeks.
“Is that so?” He's smugly smirking. No doubt anymore that he is satisfied with that new piece of information, which makes you want to crawl even further under the covers.
You mutter a quick 'dumbass' before turning away from him. He chuckled before grabbing and pulling you on his broad chest like you weighted nothing more than a feather. You and Jake have always been comfortable with physical touch, but you feel like this is special. You have never done this before. Fine the circumstances were a bit peculiar, but that did not keep you from relishing in the warmth he diffused in waves. You didn't even bother to fake protest. This, is all you need, and you will not be foolish enough to ruin the moment. He wiggles even closer, and you can feel his chest come flush with your back through the layers of blankets. He rests his chin on the crown of your head before lightly stroking the side of his full cheek on your hair.
“Little human burrito.” He mutters. His voice is barely a whisper. Its husky tone makes you shiver. “I’ll watch over you, now go back to sleep.”

Secrets - Jacob Black
“No, Y/N! Move!”
You felt as though all the wind in you got knocked out as you flew backwards. There was a deep throbbing sensation before it all went dark.
When you awoke, you could tell from the sounds and the smells that you were in a hospital. You took a while to open your eyes knowing the glare from the fluorescent ward lights would sting. Your throat felt dry and your skin tight. Slowly you pushed yourself up into a seating position to fully take in your surroundings. The ward was relatively empty, just you and another person who chose to close the curtains around their bed. Porters were walking up and down the corridors pushing carts of food and the occasional patient. One of the nurses popped her head through the doorway and nodded with a smile, acknowledging you were awake. You looked to your side to see an empty chair. There was a faint indent of someone's behind etched into the seat letting you know that, until quite recently, you had a visitor. You rifled through the cabinets on either side of your bed hoping to come across your handbag or your phone, hell even your clothes just to make sense of why you were lying in a hospital.
“Ms Y/L/N, good to see you finally awake”
You looked up to see the face of Carlise Cullen.
“I- what happ-” You asked slightly groggily.
“I’m glad you’re awake” He repeated, shining a light into your eye.
“How long was I out for?”
“You came in 5 days ago, we kept you sedated for 3 before weaning you off.”
“What the fuck happened?”
“You were brought into the hospital unresponsive. We completed scans of your body and found that you had a slight fracture on your t8 vertebrate and increased pressure in your brain. We conducted a ventriculostomy where we drilled a small hole in your skull and inserted a plastic pipe to drain out the excess cerebrospinal fluid and restore adequate blood flow to your brain.”
“How-”
“All they told me was you hit your head, hard.”
“Who’s they?”
“What is the most recent thing you remember, Y/N?”
You closed your eyes and tried to think back to your last moments but all you could remember was waking up and getting ready for your day.
“The last clear thing I remember is getting up to brush my teeth”
“And what time would you say that was?”
“Around half 8 in the morning?”
“Some short-term amnesia is expected, I’m afraid I can’t give you a definitive time frame for when you’ll remember, or if you’ll remember, but you were brought to the hospital at 3.40 pm by Sam Uley, Seth Clearwater and Jacob Black.”
“And where are they?”
“Sam and Seth stayed until you came out of surgery, Jacob stayed the entire five days, he left a short while ago for a shower and a change of clothes.”
“Do you know when I can go home?”
“I need to run some tests just to make sure that your brain function is normal and to check on your spinal fracture and once those are fine, you’ll be free to leave. Would you like me to call your mother?”
You nodded.
“Great, ill be back in a few moments to take you up to radiography.”
Your scans and tests came back normal. Your mum dealt with your discharge paperwork and prescription while you got changed into the clothes she brought for you. Carlise prescribed some pills to keep the swelling on your spine down and to manage the pain and, strict bedrest for the rest of the week to make sure you didn’t damage your spine further. You hobbled your way out of the hospital and to the car. The drive home was silent, you could tell your mum was itching to say something but she held her tongue. She silently helped you up the stairs and into bed.
“Bella came by yesterday to drop off your bag and your phone. I’ve plugged in an extension cord and left it on your bedside table. Try not to move too much. I’ll be downstairs if you need me.” She said, fluffing your pillows and making sure you were comfortable.
You mumbled a small thanks before turning your attention to your phone. It was dead so you plugged it into the charger and let it charge for a while until it switched on. You were greeted with a flurry of text messages from your friends asking about your whereabouts and sending you well wishes for your recovery.
Ignoring those, you typed out three text messages to the three boys involved in your ’accident’, “What the fuck happened to me?”. Sam and Seth’s replies came almost instantaneously at the exact same time, consisting of the same message, “Ask Jacob.”. Growing increasingly angry as you read over each text a few more times, you called Jacob’s phone. To no one's surprise, you were met with his voicemail. You cut the call and called again, only to be met with his stupid voicemail greeting for a second time. On your third ignored call you decided to leave a message. “I don’t know what happened in the 8 hours before I turned up in the hospital, Sam and Seth have told me to ask you, my mum is acting weird and I don’t know why. I don’t know what you did but I want answers and I want them now, so grow some fucking balls and give me them”. And then you waited.
For the entirety of your bedrest, you waited for Jacob to call back but he didn't. You waited to hear his heavy footsteps coming up the stairs but you didn't. Bella and Edward had visited a couple of times. Angela came almost every day after school to catch you up on the gossip of Forks high, and to make sure you didn’t fall behind. Paul and Quil dropped by while your mum was at work, somehow managing to nimbly climb in through your window to avoid you moving around. They avoided the topic of Jacob completely, chalking his disappearance down to him being ‘busy’. You knew better than to press on the subject so you dropped it, deciding to wait until you were able to move before you ran up on him.
“Rise and shine, you’ve got your freedom back today” Your mother sang, pushing open your curtains and pulling off your duvet.
You rubbed your eyes as you stretched out. “What time is it, Jesus”
“6”
“Mum, I don't have to leave for school for another couple of hours” You groaned in annoyance as you pulled the duvet back up and over your head.
“You haven't washed your hair in days. The sponge baths only did so much. I love you, but you’re smelling a bit ripe”
She had a point, deodorant, bodyspray and dry shampoo could only do so much. You reluctantly got up from your bed and went into the shower. You could still feel a slight dull ache in your back but Carlisle said that was to be expected. Any discomfort you felt immediately dissipated when you felt the hot water hitting your skin. You scrubbed the build-up of grime that had accumulated from your scalp, massaging it lightly. Although it was a quick shower, you were sure you had never felt so clean before in your life. You got out of the steamy bathroom and went back into your room. Your mum had kindly left some toast, a banana and a mug of tea on your bedside table so you tucked into your little breakfast whilst quickly checking your texts.
Angie: so excited 2 have u back in school
Y/N: just happy 2 b free :’)
Angie: gotta catch u up on gossip
Y/N: LOL, ttyl need 2 get ready xo
You quickly finished your breakfast before applying some moisturiser to your damp skin. There was only just enough time for you to dry your hair before you grabbed your school bag and your car keys and left.
Your first day back was filled mostly with your classmates asking you what happened and you responding and telling them you had no idea. As each person asked you, the anger you had burning inside you for Jacob only grew stronger. You could have potentially died that day yet you had no answers for what exactly happened. Not knowing a single detail about something that could have derailed your entire life was infuriating.  From your third period, all you could focus on was getting out of school and driving to the reservation. Your friends tried to stop you from leaving so soon, insisting that you needed to celebrate your freedom but you fended them off, promising to celebrate your freedom another time.
As you drove out of the school car park, you slowly drove past Bella and Edward making sure to initiate eye contact with both of them. They knew what happened, it was obvious, and just like everyone else, they were leaving you in the dark. You parked your car behind Billy’s truck and slammed the door shut.
“Jacob Black you get your ass out here right now” You shouted, stomping your way to his house.
Billy was the first person to come out and assess the commotion. “Y/N-”
“Usually, I’d be happy to see you Billy, but right now I want your cunt of a son to come out and stop ignoring me.”
“He’s in the barn, working on his bike” He muttered with a small smile.
You nodded in thanks and angrily walked over to the barn. You took in a deep breath to centre yourself before you practically busted the door down. Jacob’s head snapped up in surprise at the intrusion. “Y/N”
“Embry, Quil, get out.” You ordered. They both looked to Jacob who nodded before getting up off their seats.
“We’re really glad to see you’re okay Y/N” Embry mumbled as he walked past.
Once you heard their footsteps retreat, you turned to face Jacob.
“How fucking dare you?” You screamed, brandishing a spanner that found its way into your hands.
“Y/N-”
“No! How DARE you treat me like this.”
“Let me-”
“NO, you’re going to listen to me first. I’ve spent the whole week knowing that I have hours of my life that I can’t account for. I don't know where I was, who I was with or how you, Sam and Seth were the ones to get me to the hospital. All anyone has asked me is 'how did it happen?’ and I’m just as knowledgeable as they are. Any time I’ve tried to get answers I get told to ask you. When I try and ask you, you ignore me. I want to know the truth. And I want to know it now”
“I can’t tell you the truth”
“Oh wow, you’re really going to hit me with this bullshit?!”
“I can’t, Sam would kill me”
“Read my lips, Jake, I don’t care. I want the truth.”
He stood silent for a few moments. “Fine, but we need to go somewhere first”
“Why?”
“We just do, but I promise you, you’ll get the truth”
You reluctantly followed Jacob out of the barn and towards the forest. The two of you walked in silence, you trailing a few steps behind him. Jacob had the advantage of being physically fit over you, allowing him to walk over the uneven forest floor and hop over the gnarled tree roots that spread across the muddy paths. It didn't take too long for your calves to burn as you tried to keep up with Jacob, both in speed and orientation.
“How much longer?” You asked, stopping and leaning on the side of a tree to catch your breath.
“10 minutes” He replied, turning his head over his shoulder.
“Are you serious? My legs are going to fall off”
“The more breaks you take, the longer it'll take”
You mimicked his patronising comment and began walking again, only to misstep and trip. You landed on the mud with a light thump.
“For fucks sake” you muttered, wiping the mud from your hand and slowly getting up.
“You okay?” Jacob asked, rushing to your aid. You could have sworn you saw his breathing speed up as if he was panicked.
“Just tripped, I can’t keep up with your long ass legs.”
Wordlessly, Jacob swept you off your feet, carrying you bridal style. “Now you don’t need to worry about keeping up with me” He smirked, looking down at you.
“Jake put me down”
“If I put you down we won't get to Sam’s until tomorrow”
“Why are we going to Sam’s?”
“You’ll find out in a bit”
“I’m so sick of being in the dark-”
“I told you, you’ll find out the truth soon”
“That's the - you know what, you won't understand, I give up.”
“I don’t understand what?”
“Nothing”
“No, tell me, make me understand” His steps became harder and faster, you could tell he was starting to get frustrated.
“ Don’t you think I’m scared? I have 0 recollection of what happened that day. There is this huge gap in my timeline and I can't come up with an explanation for it, I can't try to piece memories together and come up with some kind of explanation. On top of that, everyone around me seems to know what happened apart from me.”
Jacob’s lips parted as if to say something but he kept silent. The rest of your walk was filled with a sort of tension. It was an odd tension because despite how irritated you were by Jacob, you felt a sense of peace, some comfort being held by Jacob. If your younger self could’ve seen you at that point, she would've combusted on the spot. It was cliche really, crushing on your best friend, but you couldn’t help it. Jacob was the only one that you felt understood you. He was supportive and always knew how to make you laugh. When the rest of the guys would exclude you from games, he’d always try and find a way to get you back involved. For a while you were starting to think that maybe Jacob liked you too, he was starting to notice the little changes in your appearance and making more plans with just the two of you, alone. That was until Bella came to town. It didn’t take you long to realise where his affection was really directed.
“Well, get ready to get your answers,” He let you down gently and walked into the open front door. You trailed in behind him slightly cautious. You were greeted by Sam and another woman, she had a huge scar on the side of her face.
“You must be Y/N, I’m Emily, Sam’s fiance,” she said softly.
“I didn't know-”
“I like to keep it on a need to know” Sam stated, crossing his arms.
“I just baked some croissants, why don't you grab one”
You looked over at the dining table to see a plate piled high with glossy freshly baked croissants. Jacob took a seat and you followed suit. He poured himself a glass of orange juice and went to fill yours up. “Before you say anything, there are no bits”. You nodded and took a croissant, tearing a chunk off and tasting it.
“These are insanely good, Emily” you gushed after swallowing your mouthful. She beamed back at you from the kitchen.
“So let’s cut to the chase. You want to know what happened last week.” Sam said, leaning against the huge kitchen island.
You nodded.
“what do you remember about those Quileute stories Billy used to tell us at bonfires”
“They can turn into wolves or something, like werewolves. They knew witches. What does that have to do with this? They were stories we were told as kids”
“What if I told you they weren't stories?”
“Werewolves don't exist”
“You wanna prove her wrong, Jake?”
Jacob sighed as he grabbed you by the arm and took you back outside Sam’s home. He took off his t-shirt and threw it to the side.
“I didn't want a strip show” You scoffed.
He scoffed and turned around, pulling his shorts down and throwing those with his shirt. He turned again to face you “All I’m asking is that you don’t run. I have more to explain but this part is easier shown.”
You nodded, trying to tear your eyes away from the bulge in his boxers. Jacob jumped off the deck and all of a sudden, you were met with a huge brown wolf.
“You’re fucking shitting me”
“Nope, clear as day. He's a werewolf, and so am I. So are Quil, Paul, Embry and Seth."
The wolf- Jacob, took a few tentative steps closer to the deck, you copied his actions stepping off the deck and meeting him in the middle. He jutted his head forward and you ran your hands over the soft fur on his head. Jacob pushed his head into your hand and you scratched the top of his head and under his jaw simultaneously. He panted happily, moving his head so you could reach the right spots.
“He's like a massive dog” You called out laughing.
Jacob growled in response and sat up.
“He told me to tell you to respect him, he's a wolf, not a dog.” Sam chuckled.
“How?-”
“Werewolf things, we can communicate telepathically.”
You looked from Sam to Jacob, bewildered.
“He’s gonna change back, you might wanna turn around if you don't wanna see his junk” Sam said, turning around to go back inside.
You stepped back and covered your eyes with your arm. It took a few moments but you heard a quiet zipping sound and dared to take a look at Jacob’s muscular torso.
“So this only explains a part of what happened. The rest is, well, complicated” Jacob followed sams lead and returned to Emily’s kitchen table.
“Uncomplicate it for me then.”
“Do you remember the stories of the ‘cold ones?’“
“Kind of?”
“Marble skin, ice cold, no need to eat or sleep, consume blood, more commonly known as-”
“Don’t fucking tell me there are a bunch of bloodsucking vampires running around here too”
“The Cullens”
“THE CULLENS? As in EDWARD Cullen? As in Bella’s boyfriend?”
Sam and Jacob nodded.
“That’s hilarious, you and Edward are both sworn enemies due to your nature and rival lovers”
“Shut up”
“Back to the topic, on the day in question, you came to the rez to see Jacob. Only Bella and Edward were there too, asking us for help to deal with some newborn leeches. Tensions are already high between the pack and the Cullens, so when they come on our land asking for favours, you can imagine how things go. Things got a bit heated between Paul and Edward, he can barely contain his anger on a good day so he phased. Jacob was stood next to him, so he phased too, to keep him in line”
“Cool story but where do I fit in here?”
“Somehow, during all the testosterone, you got too close. No offence but were all over 6ft tall, so it wasn't that hard for you to get lost in the crowd. When Jake phased, he hit you with his tail and you kind of flew backwards and hit a tree.”
An awkward silence settled over the three of you.
“Well, I can see why no one wanted to tell me the full story” You joked, cutting through the tension.
“This is something the two of you need to talk out, Em and I will be upstairs if you need us.”
“I think we’ll walk back to my dad”
Sam nodded. “I’ll see the two of you later.”
You gave a small smile and got up and left Sam’s home.
“Hold up, you’ll end up tripping again”
You refused to laugh at Jacob’s joke, choosing to face ahead rather than look at him.
“Are you going to ignore me now?”
You ignored him again.
“C’mon, Y/N, talk to me” Jacob grabbed a hold of your hand but you shook him off.
“Y/N, I’m being serious. Stop. Look at me.” He grabbed a hold of your forearm, using a bit more force and pulling you towards him. “Please, just look at me”.
You looked up and stared into his eyes. His beautiful chocolatey brown eyes. The eyes you would stare into as a child during staring contests; the eyes you would search for in a crowd of unfamiliar people; the eyes that would meet yours in serious moments that you weren't supposed to laugh in, making you both dissolve into a fit of laughter; the eyes that had been following Bella’s every move for the past couple of years.
“Hurts doesn’t it? Being ignored?” You said, quietly, not breaking eye contact.
“You know why I couldn't tell you”
“But you did tell me,”
“After I got Sam’s approval”
“How hard was it to get Sam’s approval while I was in the hospital?” You pulled away from him and continued walking.
“I didn’t want you to get hurt”
“So what, now that you’ve waited a few days the threat of me knowing the truth has just disappeared?”
“If it was up to me, you wouldn’t have found out until after we dealt with this newborn bullshit. I didn’t count on you showing up at my house, lack of foresight on my part I guess”
“I still don’t understand what this changes for me? Apart from me staying far, far away from the Cullens”
“They’re vegetarians, they only drink animal blood. But that's beside the point.” Jacob stopped and picked up a small log, snapping it into bits like it was a twig. “I’m not good with feelings, I don’t know how I’m supposed to explain this to you”
“Most of us first phased when the Cullens came to town. It's in our DNA, the smell of the bloodsuckers triggers the change. Forks had been free of vampires for the last few decades, so were the first shifters here in a while. The problem is, vampires are like an infestation, when you have one, you have a million more. We’ve been hit with threat after threat, first this woman trying to kill Bella, and now all of this newborn nonsense.
“Bella is just a human and she's stuck in the middle of all of this, this is what knowing does. It’s just not safe”
You felt your heart sink at his mention of Bella. “So you didn’t tell me because you didn’t want me to get in the way?”
“Yes-”
“Right, I see that I’m just an inconvenience now.” You scoffed.
“No, I didn't mean that. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want you to get hurt. I didn’t want you to get involved in all this. Not to mention, your mum forbade me from telling you unless it was necessary”
"My mum knew?"
"She's always known, you could say our families have some history,"
“Well despite what the both of you decided, not telling me got me hurt too”
“I know, and that's why I stayed away because I tried to protect you, I tried to keep you safe and I failed.”
“Wait, do you think that it was your fault?” You stopped walking for a second.
“Well of course it was. I threw you against a tree. You fractured your spine, they had to drill a hole in your head. You could’ve died.” Jacob turned to face you, his chest heaving. “I always thought the bloodsuckers were the monsters and we were the protectors. I nearly killed you, Y/N, so what does that make me?”
“Hey, now it's your turn to look at me” You rushed forward and held your hands to Jacob’s cheeks. “You are not a monster. It was an accident. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and in the heat of the moment, things went sideways. And yes I could have died. And yes that is a very scary thought. But I’m not dead, hell, it's like nothing even happened. I know I'm angry, but I'm only angry because you kept it from me.  Now that I know you run around with wolves in your spare time, I’ll call ahead before I come over. I’ll even buy some dog treats to keep in my car”
“I’m a wolf, not a dog, huge difference.”
“Tomato, tomato. I guess at the end of the day, you thought you were doing the right thing by keeping it from me”
“Why are you so calm about this?”
“I don’t know myself, it's like I just had to play with wolfy you and I felt better. I guess all that research into the health benefits of pets is right”
“So I’m your pet?”
“Whose a smart boy? You’re a smart boy” you patted Jacob on the head, messing his hair up slightly.
“That’s it” Jacob placed one muscular arm around your waist and hoisted you over his shoulder.
“Jacob put me down”
“No,”
“Jacob.”
“You’re slowing me down.”
“JAKE”
“I’m not listening to you”
You accepted defeat and let Jacob carry you back to his home. Once he let you back down, you stumbled slightly, feeling lightheaded from all the blood rushing down from your head. Jacob scrambled to hold you up.
“Are you okay?” He asked, frantically looking for any other signs you were hurt.
“Headrush, I’m okay” you responded, blinking.
“I see you’re both back” You both turned to see Billy sitting on the porch. “I assume you’ve told her?”
“Oh yeah, I know about Jake’s secret double life”
“And...”
“Dad-”
“What does he mean by and? What else were you supposed to tell me?”
“It appears I have put my foot in my mouth”
“Just a little bit, thanks dad”
“What-?”
“Let's go into the barn”
You sat down in your designated spot with Jacob flopping down directly next to you.
“Whoa, designated seats are out the window huh? Must be serious.”
He ignored your comment and tilted his head back and stared at the ceiling. “What do you think about soulmates?”
“Bit of a random question but I think they exist”
“Elaborate”
“I guess I feel like we all have that one person out there for us that allows us to be the best versions of ourselves. Someone you can laugh with one second, cry with the second and argue with the third.”
“Do you think you have a soulmate?”
“I’d hope so” You chuckled slightly. “what do you think?”
“I have one and I know exactly who she is. It's just complicated”
“Let me guess, she's in love with a vampire?” It was now Jacob’s turn to laugh.
“Actually, it’s not her. We have this thing called imprinting, in my world,”
“I’m sorry, ‘In my world?’ You sound like one of them old white guys telling strangers his war stories"
“It's a wolf thing, you kind of just look at her and you know it. It's like gravity just pushes you towards her. She becomes your entire world. Nothing else matters but her. You become overwhelmed with this desire to be close to her, to touch her, to keep her safe. You would go to the ends of the earth just to keep her happy. At first, I thought it was sappy bullshit but honestly, the entire world could be burning down behind me, but I wouldn’t care as long as she was with me.
“When I first phased I hoped it would be Bella. I tried my hardest to force it but I looked at her and I felt nothing. And then I saw Her, and I realised how stupid I was to ever even want Bella in the first place. She smiled at me and it reminded me of all the reasons why she was so perfect for me.”
While you were happy that Jacob was no longer pining over Bella, your heart still sunk at the fact that he was unconditionally, head over heels in love with a girl that wasn’t you. The realist in you had tried to convince the hopeless romantic in you that you and Jake were friends and only friends but there was a small part of you that held out hope that one day he would see what was right in front of him.
“I’m really glad you found her Jake, you deserve it.” You said, plastering a fake smile on your face.
“Do I? I nearly killed her”
“You’re on a bit of a hot streak, first me and now this girl” You joked, trying to lift the mood.
“It technically only counts as one”
“What do you mean, it's obvi-”
“I nearly killed my imprint when I nearly killed you,” He turned his head and looked at you with a small smile. “Suprise”
Upon processing Jacob’s revelation, you sat up straight and replayed his words a few more times in your head, just to be sure you were hearing correctly. Your entire body turned to face him “just to be clear, you imprinted on me?”
“Who's the dumb one now?”
“I’m being serious, it's me?”
“Yes, it's you. It will always be you”
“I’ve waited to hear you say that since we were 11″ You couldn't help but break into a genuine smile.
“You’re so beautiful when you smile like that”
“I’m not beautiful all the time, wow?” you hit him playfully on the arm
“No of course you are, you’re just especially beautiful when you smile, genuinely” He took your hand and pulled you closer to him.
“Hmm good answer” you muttered, resting your head on his chest.
“I was an idiot for not seeing it earlier.”
“How long have you known?”
“A year”
“A YEAR?!”
“I didn’t know how you’d react”
“You’re gonna have to make that year up”
“I intend to,”

————
When you first moved to Forks you never would’ve guessed it would come with a six foot three man that seemed to be smitten by you the moment you walked into his life.
It seemed like something out of a movie… However the love at first sight trope was rather one sided at first.
The late afternoon breeze caused a chill to roll up your spine as you walked along a dirt road. It had been about a month since you have moved to the small town in Washington.
The weeks following the last u-haul truck dropping off your family’s belongings had been rather uneventful.
School was an easy transfer. You were able to find all of your classes with the help of a student named Edward Cullen. He was the first face that became familiar to you when wandering the halls filled with unknown identities. However you and Edward didn’t seem to really click but he was nice enough to introduce you to his friend Bella, as he decided you too would be the perfect match.
You learned that they were indeed not just friends soon after meeting the quiet girl.
Walking around a corner while aimlessly searching for a bathroom caused you catch the sight of them making out rather feverishly towards the end of the hall. With a smooth 180 you decided that pissing your pants would be a better option than a hypothetical extremely awkward conversation. You also scolded yourself for not realizing sooner that they were a pair as the love struck gazes the two shared should’ve been more evident.
It took a few days to let the shock wash off and something told you that Edward knew exactly why you sputtered every time Bella offered to walk you to your next class, his eyes twinkling in amusement as you fumbled over your words.
Bella and you did click just like Edwards expected. You often became a third wheel when you hung out with the girl as the couple seemed almost inseparable. But you didn’t really mind for the fact they were never very big on PDA. Small actions were shared quietly between them every so often instead. You picked that up by eyeing the gentle touches and gestures the two exchanged throughout the day.
However, even though they were glued at the hip you were still able to get Bella to yourself. One of those times included you walking down a said dirt road, the fresh autumn air being taken in through your nose.
Bella wanted to introduce you to a few people from a nearby reservation; stating you’d hit it off great with a couple individuals in particular. She had insisted on parking her rickety old truck on the side of the road and the two of you walking the next mile or so to your desination.
You still haven’t fully understood the girl beside you. She’s extremely introverted but at the same time very expressive in a way. You never would have expected Bella Swan to be a sucker for listening to leaves crunching. That’s the only reason she wanted to hike the rest of the way in the first place.
“It’s just so satisfying,” she stated, walking in a rather funky way, attempting to land on a leaf with every step she took. Your face scrunched up as you watched her strange movements.
Bella Swan was definitely someone you will never stop learning new things about.
There was an intersection along your path that Swan girl directed you down. The sight of, what you assumed was, your landing place came into view. Many driveways broke off, trailing to different houses.
It took almost another 10 minutes of weaving down roads and passing hundreds of evergreen trees for Bella to finally point towards a red house accompanied by a shed.
Voices sounded as you approached the front steps. Light nervousness bubbled in your stomach but there was no time to over think as Bella swung the screen door wide open, holding it long enough for you to catch it from hitting you.
The smell of cedar, pine, and musk doubled as you stepped into the household.
You were met with the sight of a kitchen. Dated appliances and a wood table taking up most of the space. The ceiling light casted a yellow glow across the room. The wooden floor looked recently swept and a quiet sizzling was heard. On top of the stove was a pan with a lid; steam emitted through the sides.
The door behind you shut with a quiet click. As soon as it did the voices speaking from people you couldn’t see stopped.
Bella crouched down to untie her laces. Casting your gaze to the floor you took notice of the multiple pairs of shoes piled up on the rug you were currently standing on. Many of them were scattered away from their matches. Seemingly kicked off without a care in the world.
“There's a coat rack over there,” Bella's voice broke you from your thoughts. Glancing at her you looked over your shoulder to look at the mostly bare metal bar. A single large jacket was hanging from it.
Your brows furrowed, taking in the fact that with the end of fall approaching, more and more people were talking out their winter jackets; and you’d suspect with the amount of shoes there'd be coats to match the amount. The question didn’t deter too much in your mind however as footsteps approached.
Just as you pulled your parka off of your shoulders and hung it a large looming shadow casted from the bare doorway.
“You brought the goods right?” A deep voice rumble, almost shaking your soul.
Bella huffed out a quiet laugh.
“Why does no one even say hi anymore?” She asked in faux annoyance. Maneuvering to look at the owner of the baritone wavelanks you were met with the sight of a man leaning onto a wooden frame. His jawline was sculpted and his figure was rather muscular.
“Hi Bella,” he replied with fake enthusiasm. His cheery expression dropped to an almost emotionless one. “Did you bring it or not.”
“Yes Paul, I brought it,” Bella admitted, taking off her gloves, placing them next her jacket. “Why are you all so obsessed with SkipBo?”
“Because it’s one of the best inventions of all time,” someone stated over ‘Paul’s’ shoulder. He was taller with more of a baby face.
“You would think that.”
Jesus Christ they just kept leveling up. Another boy appeared, somehow taller than the second.
“Bella’s here?”
When will it end?? Where the hell were they pulling up from???The fourth was in similar height with the third, having a lanky build.
“Embry you literally can’t even talk,” number two stated, turning to number three.
“I’m not the one who flips tables when he loses.”
“It was one time-“
Apparently you were invisible. ‘Embry’ and number two broke into a bicker as number four watched in amusement. Paul was too busy snatching the card deck from Bella’s grasp with a mumbled thanks as he turned it over, inspecting.
“This is Y/n by the way,” she suddenly announced. Paul’s eyes glanced up to you briefly before unwrapping the rubber band holding the game together.
“Hey,” he greeted, dismissing you with a turn, his back facing you as he sat the game on the table.
Your face was scrunched in utter confusion as you took in your surroundings. Arguments still bustled and Paul just peacefully shuffled the cards. Parting the deck and making a bridge before repeating.
You looked at Bella in questioning, asking ‘what the hell’ with your eyes while you toed off your shoes. She simply smiled gently in response and looking over at the group of boys.
“Where’s Jake?” She asked crossing her arms and shifting her weight on to one foot.
“Doing some shit with Sam. Said he’d be back by 4:00 though,” number four pushed between Embry and number two. Who shoved him rather harshly but number four didn’t even acknowledge it.
“Y/n you said?” He asked, holding out a hand in greeting. Looking at it dumbly, it took a second for you to shake it.
“Um… yes?”
“Was that a question?” He quirked a brow, lip curving slightly at the corner.
“…No?” Number four chuckled lightly.
“Jared,” he introduced, placing his hand back down by his side. You smiled politely, lips tight. “Over there is Embry and Quill. I’d say they usually aren’t like this but I’d be lying,” Jared winced as the two boys behind him continued to climb in volume.
“Can you guys just shut the fuck up,” Paul finally snapped glaring with an annoyed expression.
“Well tell him to stop calling me an antisocial little bitch,” Quill stated, pointing a finger in an accusatory manner at Embry.
“They’re like children,” you mumbled.
“Aren’t all teenage boys?” Bella remarked. She swiftly brushed past you and took a seat next to Paul who began dealing out different piles.
“Y/n, you want in, right?” He asked, not taking his eyes away from the cards.
Twiddling your thumbs you hesitantly took a spot across from Bella.
“I may be rusty,” you warned.
“Can't be worse than Bella,” he mumbled, earning a light slap to his arm. A small smirk played on his lips but he paid the action no mind.
Slowly but surely the spots around the table began to fill. Jared sat next to you while Quill went to Bella’s side and Embry went to Paul. A single chair next to you remained empty.
Quill rubbed his hands together.
“Who’s ready to get shit on?”
“Shit like the time you shit your pants when you’re dad-“
“Bro I thought we established that it’d be peace and love from now on?”
“Sorry, your aura is just asking me to insult you,” Embry defended.
“What does that even mea-“ Quills question was cut off by a harsh slam of the card deck making contact with the middle of the table.
Paul gave both boys a pointed look.
“Usually by now he’d have pumbled them,” Jared murmured. You looked over at him. “Think he’s playing nice to not scare you off,” he stated his eyes glancing over to meet yours. You chuckled lightly.
“Should I thank him later?” You questioned jokingly.
“Nah, you’d inflate his ego.” A snort slipped past you.
“If Jacob doesn’t show in the next five minutes he’s getting dawn duty,” Embry stated.
“Dawn duty?” Looking across the table you furrowed your brows at Bella. She shook her head, a quiet message for you to not question it.
Minutes ticked by as useless banter continued to flow around the table. Your lips had stayed shut for the duration of it. The group of people you were surrounded with were rather… interesting.
But what else would you expect from a bunch of teenage boys just like Bella had said.
The topic of if pickles wrapped in ham was a food crime rose just as the sound of hinges creaking faintly sounded as Jared explained how the appetizer must have been crafted by Edward Einstein himself.
The door was pushed open and a figure pushed into the crazed house.
First thing you noticed about him was his well built stature. The guy had the shoulders of a fucking body builder. The wideness of them made his shirt hang loose on his frame. From what you could see of his face, his jaw was sharp, nose sloped, and his eyelashes were so long you could see them from your seat. Overall he was extremely attractive (might you even say a certified hottie).
As soon as, who you assumed was ‘Jacob’, stepped into the house he seemed to visually relax. The familiar environment calming him in and externally.
“Sorry I'm late,” he mumbled, hunching down to untie his shoes.
“Embry said you get dawn duty,” Quil blurted out. Brows furrowing Jacob looked up, annoyed expression taking over his features. Even looking like he had to sneeze he looked hella fine.
“The fuck I do,” he scoffed. “Who was the one who just made 20 laps.”
Nobody protested while he continued to unlace. He greeted Bella with a light smile and a brush of her shoulder. She beamed back at him.
Jacob had yet to acknowledge your presence. You brought your finger nails to your teeth; biting on them in a force of habit. He was rather intimidating. Leg bouncing, you looked down at the wooden table top. It wasn’t until Jacob sat down next to you did he finally note your existence.
“Y/n, right?” He asked with a light grunt as he plopped down. You glanced at him, not meeting his eyes as you gave a tight lip smiled and nodded.
“And you’re Jacob?” You questioned, already knowing the answer.
“Mhm, nice to finally get to put a face to a name. Bella’s been talking about you not stop.”
“I have not,” the girl weakly defended. Her cheeks blushed lightly at the accusation. “Only like 3 out of 5 conversations is she mentioned.” she stated.
“Yeah, that's more than you talk about your own lover. Got something you gotta declare to your new friend, Bella?” A small grin washed over your face as she stuttered.
“Well, you don’t like my lover Jacob and you don’t like me talking about him either so that’s why.” Shrugging, the boy placed his hands palm down on to his thighs, not denying her statement. His legs spread, making his knee nudge yours. Instinctively you pulled away. Mumbling a sorry Jake adjusted in his seat.
“Can we just start?” Paul asked, an impatient edge in his tone.
Words of agreement were shared amongst the group.
“How’ve you been liking Forks?” Jacob asked casually, attempting to start conversation.
“It’s been good,” your answer was short and simple.
“Not sick of the wet yet hopefully. Cause if you are, there’s a lot more where that comes from.”
“Tell me about it,” Bella murmured, examining her hand.
Breathing out a laugh you picked up a card and added it to your others as your turn came. Biting your lip once more the memories of how to play began to grow foggy.
“You can lay down the one,” a voice whispered to you. Instantly you retracted your hands to your chest to hide your valuables.
“Are you looking a my-“
And that was the moment where Forks did become intresting.
The moment where Jacob Black’s eyes met yours, the distance between you a mere four or five inches as he was previously peering over your shoulder. The world shifted under your grasp and just by the way his gaze held your own you knew he felt the change as well.
However the closer you looked the more it seemed he was feeling your emotions ten fold. A star struck gleam sparked across his irises. His body froze as his breath became stuck in his throat.
The way Jacob looked at you made it seemed as him he’s known you forever and a minute as admiration casted over him.
Your own frame felt stiff and stuck. Not knowning if you should look away or even if you could. The grasp on your cards grew tight as the table around you was now silent.
What had just happened…?

Their Reaction to the Vampire Dairies
Wolf Pack Headcannons
Can’t explain why this is so important to me, it just is….
Tumblr media
Sam
Sam is definitely not the type to sit down and watch vampire dairies off his own accord.
That being said; Sam IS the type to want to spend every waking moment with his imprint.
The compromise being that he must deal with your favourite show being re ran every single time you face even a minor strain in your every day routine.
Sam will sit there silently, respectful enough to not grumble at your choice of viewing material but not particularly taken in by the idea of vampires being sex symbols.
He’s not a fan, but he knows you love it and he loves you, so it’s a bareable consequence.
Although I don’t think he’s particularly watching, he is definitely a team Stefan - this being the only topic he speaks up on, both surprising and assuming you when he does
It’s the Delena kiss scene at the end of season one (Damon and Kathrine, but Sam doesn’t understand the doublegagger plot yet, give him time)
“This is all wrong” he says, between mouth fulls of salty popcorn
You turn to look at him, a questioning look on your face,
“She should stick with the other one” he mutters under his breath, eyes returning to his bowl of snacks
Tumblr media
Paul
Unlike Sam, Paul can’t HELP but get involved.
Yer okay, he gives you shit for watching a teen romance about vampires, hybrids and the like, but he literally can’t keep his mouth shut when it’s on.
He’s FAR to involved; it’s got him gasping, laughing, often shouting at the screen.
I believe Paul to be a team Damon, he’s also a klaus fan.
Special mention to his HATRED for Tyler Lockwood; which has you a little confused until you realise it’s just Paul looking in a mirror.
Maybe an emotionally agressive, reactive werewolf is a little too close to home for Paul to enjoy.
When the pack bring it up, seeing the two of you cuddled up in front of another TVD marathon, he tries to deny his enjoyment of it but is also very defensive of the fact that it’s NOT for teens
“It’s pretty spooky actually, I only watch it to keep (you) from getting scared”
It’s a lie, and they all know it.
Tumblr media
Jacob
Jacob is similar to Paul but HEAVY on the team Damon.
Thinks he’s a Damon, he’s actually a Matt, not that you’d be the one to tell him.
He’s the kind of guy to say he’s not watching and then ask you questions through the whole thing
“So what’s his deal again?”
“Is he trying to bang her?”
“What happened to her parents”
Ect.
He’s so busy sending you tiktoks about the show he accidentally sends one to the pack group chat and it’s all either of you hear about at every meet up or bonfire for the next 6 months.
He definitely has a big crush on Elena, not as big as his crush on you of course, but a close second
Tumblr media
Embry & Jared
Rolling these two into one because they are both unapologetic vampire dairies fans
Jared has actually already seen the whole show, and recapped it twice by now, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t willing to watch it again with you - from start to finish.
He’s also seen the originals and legacies - Jared isn’t messing around guys, he’s a super fan.
I don’t believe Embry has seen anything TVD before you, but you suddenly realise you’ve unlocked something in him that you never expected to see.
Embry lives and BREATHES the show.
Unlike Jacob , he sends the tiktoks to the pack on purpose, hoping to get them into it too so he can talk about it when he’s on patrol.
Jared is team Stefan, Embry is team Damon - they fight (physically) about this often.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Seth and Quil
Simp simp simp
These men are both rocking team t shirts in public
Quil gives team Stefan to me but I feel he eventually will change sides with elena - by the time we get the hotel scene/kiss he’s a full fledged team Damon.
Seth is team whoever, he just loves love. He’s happy to see any of them with anyone as long as they are happy - but he does really like the Stefan redemption arc of season 3.
I feel like both the lads would be caught watching the show without you, which would lead to apologies and promises to never do it again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leah
Leah is a reluctant fan; like many of the others she’s not a fan of a vampire centric plot - but you’ll win her over with quality time, in bed cuddles and the Damon/Elena pipeline eventually.
Not so much a fan, but she watches it for you.
She knows you like to talk about it so she watches closely to be able to give you her educated opinion .
I feel she’s more team Damon but I KNOW she’s a Katherine apologist!
Elena tends to remind her of Bella, so she has a bit of a prejudice against the main character. Leah, as a general rule of thumb, has an issue with Mary sue type characters.
Katherine, being the anti Elena, steals Leah’s heart immediately.
There is three people in this relationship now, you will just have to accept that.
Also a fan of Rebekah!

Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Part 10)
Jacob Black x Vampire!Swan Reader
Summary: Jacob Black, alpha of his pack, would never fall in love with a bloodsucker, much less imprint on one. The problem is that Y/N Swan was human…until she wasn’t anymore.
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
“What are you doing?” Y/N enters Carlisle’s makeshift operating room to find Bella on the table, writhing in pain. “Where’s Carlisle?” Only Edward, Alice and Rosalie are in attendance.
“He’s out hunting with Esme, they’re on their way back now.” Alice has him on the phone as if that will help.
“You shouldn’t be here,” Edward warns Y/N. “You haven’t fed recently and there will be blood.”
Y/N averts her eyes.
“She’s fine,” Jacob growls.
Alice’s gaze flits between them, the reddened skin on Jacob’s neck and Y/N’s honey colored irises. Oh.
“The placenta must have detached.”
“Get him out now,” Bella insists.
Edward jabs the syringe full of morphine into Bella’s outer thigh.
Rosalie is already holding the scalpel, poised to cut Bella open.
“What are you doing?” Y/N knocks her hand away. “Wait for it to spread.”
“He’s dying!” Bella protests, so sure that the child growing inside her is a son.
Edward looks to her, eyes on fire, pleading with her to just wait.
“Do it now.” Bella insists, no matter the cost.
Rosalie’s makes a clean slice across the bottom of Bella’s abdomen. Distracted by the blood and the hunger it brings.
Alice lunges at her, tackling the blonde to the ground and removing her from the room.
“It’s gonna be ok, Bella.” Y/N takes her hand as Edward works on delivering the baby. Tearing her apart.
Bella’s screams continue until Edward’s bitten through the amniotic sac. Her body is already in shock as the baby is placed into her arms.
“It’s Renesmee.” Edward tells her.
“She’s beautiful.” Bella gives a weak smile.
Y/N strokes sweat damp hair from her sister’s face. “You did it.”
Bella looks to Y/N. “Take care of her for me.”
Y/N nods, assuming she means over the next three days. “I will.”
Bella’s expression goes blank, unseeing eyes landing on Edward as her heart slows to a halt.
Edward takes Renesmee before she can fall from Bella’s arms. “Y/N, take the baby.”
Y/N reaches for the infant, cradling her gently. Bouncing from side to side out of instinct.
Jacob watches, mouth ajar. He imagines her rocking their own children, the ones they may never have.
“Please, Bella.” Y/N sobs. “Please.”
Edward injects his venom directly into Bella’s heart.
Jacob holds Y/N to him, mindful of the baby, as Edward continues pumping her unbeating heart. “I’m so sorry, baby.”
“No,” Y/N wails, “please no.”
“I’m sorry.” He repeats, knowing that this is only the beginning of her losses. She would lose Charlie and her mother and every mortal person she’s ever loved. “I’m sorry.”
The pack standing watch outside feels it through the bond, the grief sends a collective howl. Y/N’s pain is Jacob’s and theirs in turn.
Her suffering shoots through him like a physical blow. “What can I do?” He asks, desperately. “Y/N, just tell me what I can do.” Jacob is helpless, powerless to alleviate even an ounce of her agony.
“It should have been me.” Y/N crawls at his back, clinging to him. “I wish it was me.”
“You don’t mean that.”
Y/N shakes her head. She does mean it, she wishes she died back when she was still human. She wishes she could be human again, for Jacob to be human. She longs for the boy with long flowing locks and an easy smile to come save her. To change her back into the blushing girl with blood in her veins. She wants to grow old with him and have his babies. She wants to age out of this life when she’s done all she is meant to. All of that is gone now, like Bella is gone.
Her dying wish being for Y/N to help raise her child is especially cruel, even though Bella didn’t mean for it to be.
Renesmee begins to fuss, in tune with her aunt’s emotions.
“I’m sorry I’m like this.” There aren’t medications for vampires with depression. “I love you, I’m sorry.”
Jacob would tear his own heart out and give it to her on a platter. “There’s nothing to apologize for. You’re doing everything you can.”
“I’m broken.”
“You’re mine.” Jacob murmurs, “you’re mine.” If she’s broken he’ll fix her. If her life is empty then he’ll fill it. Pour all his time into her, his blood, his body, his love and make her whole again.
“I’m yours.” It is easy to mourn the dead, people are taught to do it all their lives. It’s much harder to mourn the living, to be haunted by their perpetual ghost. Jacob Black will haunt her for eternity, standing obediently at her side all the while.
This is about more than Bella, her momentary death only triggered it. That becomes apparent as her heart begins beating erratically while the venom transforms her.
Y/N is happy her sister is going to survive, but it doesn’t fix everything, it only lessens the blow.
————————————————————————
Bella’s transformation is quiet, she’s completely still from the morphine. A stark contrast from Y/N’s. But after the birth of her daughter, she deserves a peaceful beginning to her new life.
Y/N and Jacob take turns with Rosalie and the Cullens, caring for Renesmee who grows significantly each day.
The blonde vampire comes to collect the infant and Jacob takes the opportunity to get Y/N alone, leading her out towards the tree line.
“I want to marry you.”
Y/N flinches at his words. “I know,” she’s already agreed.
“I want to marry you now.” Jacob clarifies, “before we leave. I want Charlie and my dad to be there.”
“That makes perfect sense.”
“We’ve graduated, I have a ring, we’ve got the place lined up in Denali.”
“O-okay.” Y/N stammers.
“I’m going to get down on one knee and ask you.” Jacob warns her. “We can have a small wedding or a big one, whatever you want. We’re going to move to Alaska and start our new lives. I’m going to get you pregnant, no matter what I have to do and I’m gonna do it as many times as you want, okay? Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you. All I want you to do is say yes.”
Y/N nods, watching him sink down on the grass, pulling a loose ring from his back pocket.
“This was my mother’s.” Jacob says, “if we need to keep up with the Cullens, I will save up the money to buy you a nice big rock.”
Y/N stares down at the engagement ring in question, a hand etched band adorned with little diamonds. “It’s perfect, I’m…are you sure?”
“I have never been more sure of anything in my entire life.” He stares up at her. “I’ll beg if you want me to.”
“No, don’t beg.” Y/N laughs, “I’ll marry you.”
Jacob slips the ring onto her finger, kissing her hand over the metal band. “Thank you.”
“I wish we had more time here.” Y/N confesses, “this feels so final.” Like they’ll never come back.
“There is something I’ve been thinking about, might buy us some time.”
“I’m all ears.”
————————————————————————
Charlie is chopping wood in the back yard when Jacob and Y/N pull up on the motorcycle.
“Dad.” Y/N calls, as not to startle him.
“Here,” Charlie beckons them to join him near the chopping block.
“Need any help?”
“I think I’ve got it covered. How’s Bella?”
“She’s ok,” Y/N smiles. “We were actually hoping we could talk about something else.”
Charlie cocks his head to the side, “what’s going on, kid?”
“Jacob and I are getting married,” Y/N holds out her hand.
Charlie adjusts his stance, “well, it’s been a long time coming.” Jacob asked his blessing months ago. “I’m happy for you.”
“Second thing,” Jacob cuts in, “it’s about Bella. She is better, but in order for her to get better…”
“She had to change.”
Charlie looks to his oldest daughter, running a hand over his face. “Like you changed?”
“Yeah,” Y/N admits.
“And you can’t tell me what that means, can you?” Charlie knows this game.
“I can’t, but Jacob can give you a rough idea, if you’re open to it.”
Charlie throws up a hand, “go for it.”
Jacob begins removing his clothing, handing them to Y/N.
“Jacob,” Charlie averts his gaze, “put your clothes on.”
“I know this may seem strange.” Jake kicks off his boots.
“No socks?” Y/N scrunches up her nose.
“That’s what you’re worried about?” Charlie says, in disbelief.
“Stranger things happen everyday.”
“I doubt it.” Charlie fights the urge to cover his eyes, Jacob is down to his boxers.
Jake’s body heats up, sending smoke into the air as he phases into the reddish brown wolf Y/N has come to love.
Charlie stumbles backwards, landing on his behind and Y/N steps around her fiancé to help him up.
“It’s ok, Dad. It’s just Jacob.”
“I- do you turn into a big dog too?” Charlie whispers to his daughter.
Y/N chuckles, “no. This is my only form.”
“Oh thank god.”

How do you think Jacob would react to black y/n getting hurt while being with Bella and the Cullens ?
Wanna make a request or leave a tip? Buy me Kofi😘
Tumblr media
~ Ok so imma start this off by saying that Y/N and the Cullens have a great relationship. Meaning they would never put them in harm's way on purpose
~ With that being said, it was one of the many stormy days in Forks and the Cullens had invited you to play baseball
~ This was a common occurrence so Jacob thought nothing of it and didn't even protest
~ You were a pretty strong individual and found yourself able to keep up with the family of vampires
~ Today, however, you were a little off your game
~ Everything was all fine and dandy until it was your turn to bat and Alice was standing pitch
~ With the utmost confidence you stepped up to the plate and readied yourself as Alice threw the ball
Tumblr media
~ And...... everything goes black
~ Let's just say that instead of the ball colliding with the bat, it chose your face instead
~ Game Over 💀
~ When Jacob got the call from Edward saying that you were hurt, he dropped everything he was doing in a panic
~ His only thought was getting to you and making sure you were ok
~ Forget the motorcycle, Jacob full-on shifted and immediately made his way to you
~ You were already back at the Cullen residence with Carlisle checking you out when Jacob arrived
~ Besides a concussion and huge bruise on your forehead
~ You were fine 😃
~ However, in the eyes of Jacob, you were on the brink of death
~ It'll take you forever to calm him down and assure him that you are ok
~ At one point he even tried to blame Alice for the incident, but you weren't having that
~ Before he could say anything too out of hand, you gave him that one look that made him hush immediately
Tumblr media Tumblr media
~ Once Carlisle said you were ok to go home, Jacob was already bridal carrying you out the door
~ Even though you protested, this man was determined to carry you all the way to his house
~ When you two finally made it, he refused to let you get up from his couch
~ The rest of the day Jacob coddled you and never let you out of his sight. As if breathing wrong would somehow kill you
~ Oh boy 🙄

Could I get an image where the reader is Jacob Black’s little and they regress around the rest of the pack for the first time <33
Pairing: Cg!Jacob Black x little!reader
Contains: established relationship, Ageregression, Littlespace, cgl dynamic, protective Jake, the wolves are very accepting, set after the events of breaking Dawn, ReynoldsRap doesn’t exist
**Ageregression and Littlespace will never be sexualized on this blog**
Tumblr media
You were hanging out with Jacob and some of the other members of the wolf pack at La Push on a unusually sunny day, you were enjoying a rare bit of sunshine on your skin gladly accepting the warmth over the usual cold drizzle.
You sat down on the sand and began to build a sand castle, uninterested in the game of frisbee everyone else was currently playing, you did you best to build the coolest sandcastle you could, even using pebbles and sticks you found on the beach as a decoration. It wasn’t long until you had unknowingly regressed, too entranced by your sandcastle to notice.
It wasn’t until a particularly high wave came in and washed your sandcastle away until you realized.
You sat and stared at the remains of your sandcastle as tears pricked your eyes, it wasn’t long until you were crying, face buried in your hands, crying and riddled with embarrassment because it’s just a stupid sandcastle and you shouldn’t be this upset you argued with yourself, you were pulled out of the self destructive thoughts by Jacob’s voice.
Which meant people had noticed.
“Baby, what’s wrong? Tell me, I can fix it.” He whispered and you shook your head ‘no’ not trusting your voice.
“Please, I hate seeing you upset.” He pleaded and you took a deep breath,
“I was building a sand castle and it was really fun so I got small and then it washed away but it’s just a stupid sandcastle and I shouldn’t feel bad.” You explained through your tears, trying to keep your voice as quiet as possible.
“Oh no, that’s really bad. I’m sorry that happened, would you like to go home and do something there instead?” Jacob asked and you nodded, reaching for him to help you up,
“Where are you guys going?” Sam’s voice rang through the beach and you cringed, you knew even trying to be quiet it would be impossible for them not to hear with their superhuman hearing. You just wanted this embarrassment and this day to be over.
“Oh, uh, I decided I wanted to go grab some food and I’m taking (y/n) with me.” Jacob lies, clearly trying to make you feel better. You both know Sam knows the truth. Sam nods and looks at you,
“You know, we’d be more than happy to help you rebuild your sandcastle. You don’t have to feel bad about slipping around us.” He says and you stand there in shock,
“I-I thought you guys would think I’m weird.” You manage to say and he chuckles.
“I mean don’t get me wrong you’re weird, but not because you’re a little.” He teases you and you laugh,
“Okay, I’d like to build that sandcastle and then we can get something to eat!” You say happily.

A chill ran though you as the automatic doors to your right opened. A woman entered, pushing a cart and nodding along as the child beside her talked animately. You watched as they stopped in front of the apples, the boy picking up as many as his little arms could carry, causing his mother to shake her head before plucking each one out of his grasp, placing them back on the stand. A breathy chuckle left you as he began to pick them once again, much to his mother’s exasperation. She lightly slapped his hand away from the fruit, scolding him quietly before they both left the produce section. You turned back to the issue at hand.
There were several bouquets ranging in color and variety, but you only had eyes for one. The roses were beautiful— deep red in color, standing tall on their stems. Your chest tightened, and you willed yourself to walk away, to buy the pint of ice cream that you originally came here to get, but no matter how much you tried, your feet refused to move. Against your better judgement, you leaned towards the innocent flowers, and as their light fragrance filled your nose and you closed your eyes, allowing it to wash over you.
“Oh my god,” you groaned, sliding back in your seat. “I’m stuffed.” Your best friend chuckled from across the booth as you popped open the top button of your jeans.
“I can see that,” he said, his eyes shining with mirth.
He threw down a couple of twenties, before sliding out of his seat, offering his hand to help you out of yours. You stared at the bills on the table and then his outreached hand, your eyebrows knitting together from confusion.
“I thought we were splitting it?” You often got dinner with Jacob, and you always split the bill.
“You can get the next one. Come on, let’s go,” he urged, brushing off your concern. You shrugged— if it wasn’t a big deal to him, then you won’t make it a big deal.
“Wanna change into some sweats and we can make popcorn and watch a movie or something?” He suggested once you were on the road. His truck drove down Main Street, the streetlights casting shadows along his face.
“I’ll even watch a stupid Hallmark Christmas movie. ’Tis the season and all of that,” he teased, knowing you were a sucker for those cheesy movies.
“You had me at sweats, but I’ll probably pass on the popcorn. We can do it at my house too, if that’s easier,” you offered, not wanting Jacob to have to drive to and from the reservation more times than necessary, since your car was currently getting fixed. He hummed in agreement as he turned left at the light, making his way towards your house. It was a quiet ride, but you didn’t mind— with Jacob, it was always a comfortable.
He parked in front of your house, and you moved to leave the car, stopping when you felt a warm hand on your forearm.
“Wait, Y/N, I got you something,” he said.
You turned to face him as he reached into the back and pulled out a bouquet of roses. It wasn’t extravagant by any means, but they were nicely wrapped, and in full bloom, showcasing their beautiful red color. He handed them to you with a smile, and you took them hesitantly. Between him paying for dinner and getting you flowers, it wasn’t hard to guess what was happening.
“Jake…” you trailed off, staring at your gift. “What are these for?”
“Roses? Well they can be given for any occasion, really,” he responded, nervous by your unexpected reaction. You fought the urge to roll your eyes.
“I can see that, but why are you giving them to me?” You pressed.
“What, a guy can’t just get his best friend some flowers?” He asked, incredulously. You gave him a withering glare.
“Not when he has already paid for dinner too! Besides, I know you have feelings of me, Jacob, and we already established that we’d keep it only as friends!” You shouted. He was quiet, partly from hurt but also because he knew you were right.
“You’re my imprint, Y/N,” he whispered, and you sighed.
“I know, but you said you would be whatever I need you to be, and right now I just need you to be my friend,” you said quietly. You could see the pain twinged in his eyes, and you felt your heart clench. You gently set the roses down between the two of you.
“Maybe it’s best if we don’t see each other for a little bit,” you said, your voice catching at the end.
“What?” Jacob choked out, shaking his head. “No, no we don’t have to do that. I won’t do this again, Y/N, I promise. Just give me another chance. Please?” You stared into his glassy eyes, as you blinked back tears.
“I…” Your throat constricted and you felt hot tears roll down your cheeks. “I need time.” You hastily wiped at your cheeks and sniffled as you rushed out of the car, his crestfallen expression burned into your memory.
“Um, excuse me, but you’re blocking all the flowers,” an annoyed voice came from behind you, startling you from your reverie. Your eyes sprung open, embarrassed at having been caught. You swiftly moved away from the roses and towards the ice cream aisle, not daring to turn back.
Less than five minutes later, you were armed with a pint of ice cream in one hand and a small package of cookies in another, rushing to the checkout stands, wanting to leave the store as soon as possible.
The drive home was too quick for your car to completely heat up, the chilly January air still nipping at your nose even from inside. You quickly opened the front door before going to your room, grabbing a spoon from the kitchen on the way. You threw the spoon and newly acquired goods on your bed as you shrugged out of your thick jacket and beanie.
You watched the snowfall from the comfort of your warm bed, mindlessly eating spoonful after spoonful of ice cream as you were lost in another memory.
“Jacob!” You squealed as he threw another snowball at you with alarming accuracy. You hid behind a tree, catching your breath as his laughter filled the empty forest. You leaned down, quickly making snowballs of your own before peeking past the tree trunk, sweeping the area. Your eyebrows furrowed when Jacob was nowhere to be found.
“Shifting is cheating!” You called out, huffing in annoyance when you were met with silence. Out of nowhere, a snowball sailed towards you, hitting you on your arm. You spun on your heels, catching a glimpse of tan skin and dark hair through the trees. You considered attacking him with your own snowballs, but he was too fast, and you quickly lost sight of him. It was quiet again.
“Wolves don’t even have opposable thumbs, silly,” came his familiar voice, and you whipped around, startled to find him standing by the tree next to you, a smirk on his face.
He was shirtless, having discarded his top somewhere in the snow before your snowball fight. You were grateful he kept his pants on though, knowing it probably was somewhat of a pain in the ass to keep changing in and out of them. Serves him right for cheating though.
“Whatever,” you said, rolling your eyes.
You palmed the snow in your hands, trying to be as subtle as possible. Unfortunately, Jacob had fast reflexes and spotted the snowball coming from a mile away. You watched as the snowball pathetically exploded against the tree trunk where your best friend was just a second before. With a frustrated groan, you reached down for more snow, scanning the trees for movement.
Three snowballs in hand, you decided to choose a better hiding spot. Spying an abundantly branched tree in the distance, you figured you’d climb it for a higher viewpoint, hopefully giving you an advantage over the wolf. You abandoned the snowballs— you couldn’t climb with them, and besides, the branches had more than enough snow to make more— and dashed to your destination.
You were a skilled tree-climber, having spent more than enough time in the Forks forest during your childhood. Despite the cold and the snow, you were scaling the side of the tree in record time, finding a branch low enough to give you a good view of the ground but high enough to avoid any flying snowballs. You quickly crafted snowballs, keeping your eyes peeled for your friend— human or wolf. From here, it was a waiting game.
You occasionally heard the crunch of snow, but never saw him. After at least five minutes of no action, your determination to win was beginning to crumble. You were cold and wet, cursing Jacob and his ability to maintain a high body temperature. Your eyelashes were sticking together and your beanie was damp, from the snowfall. You were about to call out to surrender when the tree next to you rustled.
Your head whipped to the side just in time to see your best friend leaping from branch to branch with an unexpected element of grace. In no time, he was perched on the branch next to you, a twinkle in his eyes.
“I think you forgot who taught you how to climb trees, Y/N/N,” he teased. You stiffened as he hit you with a final snowball, his sweet smile feigning innocence when you glared at him.
“Let’s go in. I can hear your teeth chattering from here.”
Your heart longed for Jacob.
It wasn’t that you didn’t love your best friend— in fact, you were pretty sure you had loved him long before he even acknowledged the possibility of something more between the two of you— it was that you feared the imprint bond was the only reason why he wanted you. Unfortunately, you will never truly know; his feelings forever influenced by the bond from the moment he imprinted.
It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. After all, he loved you now, and he would continue to do so for the rest of your lives, regardless of how he felt before. Rationally, everything worked out perfectly in the end, but you doubted you would ever shake the insecurity that he was with you because the wolf told him to be, not because he wanted to be with you. You knew there was only one solution to this problem, and you had been avoiding it for the past three weeks.
Your spoon hit the bottom of the carton, and you looked down, shocked. It was a sign. Your wallowing days were over— it was time to face the music.
You knocked the familiar wooden door twice before shoving your hand back into your pocket to retain warmth. Your heartbeat quickened as you heard movement from the other side of the door, and before you knew it, the door swung open revealing your best friend.
“Hey,” you said softly. His gaze flickered from your face to the roses in your hand and back up to your eyes.
“Hey,” he replied, his voice guarded, unsure of your next move.
“I got these for you,” you stated, offering him the bouquet. He eyed the roses before taking them, hesitantly.
“Why?” He whispered.
“They can be given for any occasion, really,” you echoed his words from weeks ago. His eyes flashed with recognition.
“Why’d you get them for me?” It was his turn to press. You took a deep breath before responding.
“Because I love you.” You had tried to sound confident, but you knew he heard the waver in your voice. His jaw dropped, and his mouth open and closed as he processed your confession and tried to find the words he wanted to say. You continued, having planned a whole speech on your drive over.
“I don’t really sleep anymore. I can never get quite warm enough, and I think it’s because my favorite personal heater isn’t there. And then when I lie in the dark, staring at the ceiling, I always end up thinking about you. I miss the way you throw you head back when you laugh and the little smiles you give when you catch me staring. I miss being in your arms— whether it’s to shield me from the cold, or we’re cuddling during movie nights, or I’m crying and you’re just holding me— I miss the comforting, safe feeling that always comes with it.
“So this is me swallowing my pride standing in front of you saying I’m sorry for that night. I love you, Jacob. I’ve actually loved you for a long time,” you confessed. You were crying at this point, and you could see that Jacob’s eyes were shiny.
“If you love me, why did you turn me away?” You released a shaky breath.
“‘Cause I was scared.” His eyebrows knit in confusion and he waited for you to continue.
“You had never expressed any type of interest in me until after you imprinted. I didn’t want you to love me just because something told you to. Because you had to. But after a lot of thinking, I’ve made my peace with it. I want you in my life Jake, and I know that we’ll be happy together, and if that’s only because of the imprint then I’m okay with that too.”
You wiped away your tears as you watched his reaction. He opened the door wider and placed the roses on the side table next to him.
“Come here,” he whispered, his open arms inviting you in.
You rushed into his arms without a second thought, burrowing your face into his chest. Everything was quiet except for your sobs, and Jacob comfortingly rubbed a hand across your back as he rocked the two of you back and forth. He pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head before resting his cheek on it.
“When we were nine, I came over for a play date and you were super excited because your friends from school would be there and you wanted us to meet. You had been telling me for weeks about how cool and popular they were and you couldn’t believe that they wanted to be friends with you. But when I met them, they laughed at my long hair and called me girly, and you yelled at them. Told them to shut up,” he recalled, and you remembered that day perfectly.
“Those kids were assholes,” you mumbled.
“Yeah, but you thought they were the coolest assholes in the third grade.” His arms tightened around you.
“That was when I knew,” he whispered. You pulled back slightly, so you could see his face.
“When you knew what?”
“That I loved you.” Your breath hitched and you searched his eyes for a hint of a lie. Your heart soared when all you saw was adoration and love.
“Third grade?” You asked, wanting to make sure.
“Third grade,” he confirmed before capturing your lips in a soft kiss.

Writing about the wolf pack because I re-read New moon and I’m also stuck at a car dealership!!!!!
Ok let’s be honest here 😔I’m writing about two of them. WHY?! because I lack creatively and I’m bad at observing character traits.
Pt2:Paul Lahote
Jacob Black~
I’m not gonna lie to any of y’all. When I re-read this book I truly seen how Jacob loves Bella and I needed that in my life.
Protective asf. We already know that’s like something natural that comes to them. But this man is always keeping a watchful eye on you or asks his “brothers” (the pack) to watch over you. He even protects you from himself, his temper, words, actions anything that may hurt you.
His mindset and personality altered when joined the pack. But when he’s super vulnerable his facade will crack. Jacob tries so hard to be strong for you and be that support system that you both are bonded by. But his past with Bella and the things he told himself before meeting you makes him feel like he doesn’t deserve something like your love and comfort.
He’s so guilt ridden when you cry, especially if it’s because he did something. He can’t decide on what to do for you. He’ll walk up to you arms open to hug you and then he will also back away and turn to the nearest exit. Thinking it’s what’s best for you. Jake can’t even think of what to say to you, ultimately he gets frustrated with himself and steps outside first. I can see his putting his palms over his eyes and ‘growling’ (in a groan type way) and his ‘stupidity’.
He doesn’t use many pet names for his significant other. But this man loves nicknames. Nearly everyone he knows has gotten a nickname from him easily. It’s canon that he would call you ‘honey’ in light hearted or heart wrenching situations. *why is my heart hurting thinking out it.* ANYWAYS.
I see Jacob asking stupid questions regarding you and your life style. Especially if your a woman with a menstrual cycle. Shit like, “ weird question. but… do you think I should keep you away from the Cullen’s when it’s… yk? that time of the month?”. He’s being dead-ass but when you laugh at the insane question, he grins largely and laughs a little too. Jake is still calling the Cullen’s about it though… just in case
I know everything I’m saying is directly related to wolf instinct and loving their imprint no matter what. But Jacob thinks you look hot in every-fucking-thing. He does not care a single bit what you wear in public. He knows he can handle any situation calmly considering he has the best phasing control out of the group.
His main problem is how argumentative he is. Jacob is always challenging yours and other sides of peoples arguments just for his own entertainment. Surely this causes fights between you both occasionally but nothing that can’t be fixed.
I want someone to jump infront of a moving van for me no questions asked. And Jacob would do that. But he also wouldn’t? Motherfuvker probably asks questions all the damn time.
Likes to sleep when it’s cold af. Fan on 3 (all the way up). Keeps it at 66 in the house.

Summary: After one night of respite, the reader confronts the day to realize the shadows haven't quite disappeared yet.
There's a timid sunbeam lighting up your cozy little room. Nothing scary or menacing in view. You look over to your nightstand with barely opened eyes to see your mushroom light still on. The clock on your desk shines the time. 7:00am.
7am?!
You sit straight up, immediately noticing the big dent on the left side of your bed. Yes, of course, Jacob came in last night. Your cheeks flush with the thought of having slept so soundly next to the heaping mountain of muscles that is your friend. You feel so confused and well-rested. For the first time in a few weeks, you awoke calmly. This might have been the best night of sleep of your whole damn life, and it's 7:00am! You managed to wake up before your alarm. You wouldn't have to be rushing to school for once. You were usually only able to fall asleep when the sun started shining and chased away the threatening shadows of the night. So, being late to school was a recurring occurrence for you. For once, your father wouldn't have to come in to try and wake you up. You were pushing away your blankets to get up when there was a knock on your door before it slowly cracked open.
"Sweetheart, time to wake up. Don't want to be late for sch-"
Your father's traits lifted up in surprise, and honestly, you couldn’t really blame the man. You didn't keep track of all the mornings he found you all tangled up in your blankets, hair sprawled everywhere like a bird's nest, saliva drooling down your chin.
"Did you sleep well?"
You nodded eagerly, a sincere smile spreading on your lips. Charlie seemed incredibly thrilled by that piece of news. He was no stranger to the nightmares haunting your nights and was brokenhearted to see you so tired and on edge all the time.
"Well, then. Better get down and eat breakfast before you head to school." He gave you a timid smile before softly closing your door.
You had your first breakfast with your dad in a long time. He was particularly chirpy, and you kept catching his relieved gaze. You left for school on time and had a really great day. You felt awake and energized. Participating in class and your little social circle once again felt like a rush. Your efforts were welcomed with gigantic smiles from your teachers and friends. For a second, you thought the weeks of anguish and terror might finally be behind you. Maybe a night with Jacob had been the only thing you needed to put this whole thing behind you. However, as the sun went down and shadows stretched on the ground, you got more flinchy and twitchy. Once more, you turned at every odd sound, looking over your shoulder as you left the school grounds. You almost ran to your car, locking all the doors, and left a trail of dust with how fast you headed back home on the powdery roads of Forks.
Dinner with your father was much more somber than the breakfast you shared this morning. You felt like a dagger to your heart, his disappointment when he saw you jump as he caught you by surprise in the kitchen. You usually were always careful about hiding your internal conflict from Charlie. Yet the frustration you felt tonight weighed much more than the want to hide everything from him.
Once dinner was over, you climbed the stairs with heavy steps, feeling the dread in your body get worse the closer you got to your bedroom. You opened the door to find a space very different than the one you had left when you awoke this morning. Your still unmade bed didn't feel so inviting tonight. Long gone were the rays of sunshine that scared the shadows away. The room you faced was now dark and gloomy. Nothing about it felt safe or secure.
You rushed in to turn on your mushroom light and sat on your bed, trying to summon all your courage to breathe calmly.
It's over now. Nightmares are just that. They aren't real. I'm safe now.
No matter how much you would repeat it, those words felt empty and fake. You got up, put your pajamas on, and as you were ready to get in bed, you noticed a piece of clothing jutting out from under one of the pillows. You lifted it up to find the T-shirt you lent to Jacob. He didn't keep it. He left your house shirtless so you could keep the stupid piece of clothing. You grabbed it and held it up to your nose. Immediately, your senses were overpowered by his woodsy scent. You fell to your bed, shirt still pressed on your face as you let a deep sigh leave your lungs.
Grabbing your phone on the night table, you hesitated. Your fingers hovered over the keyboard before you closed the device and threw it away.
The clock had just struck midnight when you heard something scratching outside. You almost had a heart attack when you saw Jacob hanging onto your window, motioning for you to open it.
"Jacob Black. What the hell are you doing? Do you want to kill me?!"
Your tall friend let out a deep chuckle as he swiftly stepped into your room without making a noise. His gaze fell onto the fort you had built yourself. There were pillows and blankets lined all around your bed, a very feeble attempt at a barrier. The tv screen was paused on one of your favorite movie. He gave you a worried look and took a second to really take in the state you were in. You didn't look like the relaxed girl he had, reluctantly, left in a peaceful slumber this morning.
"What?" you defensively crossed your arms on your chest, already sensing where this conversation would be going.
"What are you doing?" he quietly asked, his head slightly leaning on one side.
"I was watching a movie."
You immediately saw a shadow pass in his dark eyes and felt a familiar pain ring in your chest. You couldn't live with disappointing both your father and Jacob. Worse, you couldn't live with the pity in their eyes. If only the bad dreams could stay away.
"What are you doing," you finally asked, a bit more roughly than you had intended.
He hesitated, sensing you had been offended in some way. "I just did a quick run around the perimeter, but then I saw the light open and just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Your expression softened at the concern painted on his handsome face. Fear did make you more on edge, but you knew Jacob had done nothing to deserve that anger. You sighed before plopping down on your bed.
"That's very nice of you, but I am okay. I just didn't feel tired yet."
You felt adamant about telling him of the return of the paranoia. You were already so disappointed in yourself. You couldn't even muster the bravery to be in your room alone at night. What would it even do if you told him the truth? It felt so shameful to ask again for his help, to ask him to watch over you while you were sleeping. Just because, like a child, you were afraid of the dark and the beasts it hid. You were instantly relieved when he gave you a suspicious glance as if he might believe your lie. You gave him your best smile, trying to prove how relaxed you were. You only wanted to chase the worries away from his chocolate eyes.
That could have worked if only the sound of your house creaking under a strong gust of wind and a branch scratching on your window hadn't made you flinch so damn hard.
Jacob's gaze hardened over your tense figure. You expected him to make a comment, to confront you. As you waited anxiously for the ax to drop, he finally walked over to your bed, sat, and pointed to your television.
"May I join you then?"
You initiated him to one of your best comfort movies. It required absolutely no brain power and just helped you feel better. Always a good player, Jake obliged and even seemed to enjoy it. When you were done, you spent another hour just chatting about nothing and everything. You tried hiding your clock from his sight and hoped he wouldn't notice time flying away, but sadly, there wasn't much your figure could hide from his wolfish sight.
"It's getting late. I should probably go," He muttered after an hour of mindless chatting. His dark eyes fixed on your features, you faced each other, forearms tucked under your head while you lay on your side. You couldn't help your shoulders and jaw from tensing up at his words. The happiness and carelessness he had brought you vanished as if it never occurred. Fear crept up in your belly at the thought of being alone in the dark again.
You gave him a tight smile as you nodded. He hesitantly got up, giving you another weird look. You barely registered it, too focused on avoiding falling into a panicked state. He walked to the window, and as you thought he was about to leave, he turned around on a whim.
"I really don't understand you. Even in this state, you won't ask for my help?"
His outburst surprised you and unintentionally made you recoil at the swift motion. He sighed deeply, "Please don't look at me like this. I want to understand. Why don't you want my help?" he repeated, annoyance rippling in waves from his body.
"I- I'm not sure what you're talking about," you responded, determined to hang on to the shred of dignity you had left.
He let out a sarcastic laugh. It was dry and reeked of disdain towards this fluke you were trying to fool him with. "Stop playing Y/n. You reek of fear."
His words were like a punch in the gut. You felt shame hitting you as you realized how stupid you had been.
"See? Your reaction only confirms what I already knew. What I don't understand is why you insist on facing this alone. You can always call me, and I will always come through for you. Have I not proven that?"
"You did, but it's not your responsibility to fix me. To fix this."
"Not my responsibility?" he scoffed. He turned around while dragging his hand through his hair. He was a mix of so many emotions you couldn't pinpoint what was brewing in his brain. He stayed silent for so long that you thought he would leave you like this. You were about to add something when he raised his voice. "I would give everything to go back to that night. To be there by your side. Maybe you wouldn't have to go through that, or at least I would have been the one to rip to shreds that bloodsucker." Flames of rage danced in his eyes while you stood speechless, gawking at him.
You were at a loss for words. You had seen Jake in many different states in your friendship, but he never looked so conflicted. Anger and sadness seemed to be battling out the right to overpower him. For a rare moment, he looked incredibly vulnerable. He was back to being that innocent teenager you had always known. You approached, unsure whether that would make him lash out, but he stayed put, his eyes fixed on the ground. You knew Jacob felt responsible for what happened to you. What you didn't know is that he tortured himself with it. Your heart ached at the thought, and any frustration you had felt up to this point melted.
Softly, you grabbed his hand. "Jacob, look at me."
When he finally turned around and lifted his gaze, tears hung on to the line of his long lashes. The sight of it made your throat close up.
"Why won't you let me care for you," he whispered, inches from you.
His gaze was so deep and carried a tsunami of emotions. Without even thinking about it, you grabbed his face. Both of your hands cradled his soft and warm skin. You saw goosebumps creep up his muscled arms, mirroring the one on yours. Bringing his forehead to your own, you took a deep breath.
"I don't want to be a burden."
Saying the words that'd been ringing in your head for so long felt almost exhilarating while also being incredibly relieving. Contrary to the belief of your messed up head, the world didn't end or break in two once the thought left your lips.
"I've always thought you were such an incredible person and couldn't help but always want to be better for you. Ever since you phased, that feeling only got more intense. You've evolved so much in the past few months, and I'm still old me. When I got attacked, it was the most horrible experience of my life, but it also reinforced that concept. I couldn't even walk from yours to Emily's cabin without being attacked. The boys had to risk their lives to save me. I didn't even get one scratch, and still, I'm afraid of the dark. I'm afraid to sleep alone. I'm afraid if I let my guard down for one second... it'll happen again. Which means that I'll either die or be a burden for you guys once more because I can't even defend myself against something like that. You're already so good to me. I don't want to add this to your list of things to worry about."
Your eyes stayed closed even after you finished and controlled your breathing again. Saying it aloud was incredible, but to open your eyes to face his reaction felt nerve-racking. You were about to when a strong pair of arms wrapped around you.
"You are not and will never be a burden to me." His tone was soft and felt a little strangled. In your dimly lit little room, while the rest of the world was in a peaceful slumber, Jacob's words felt like the only thing that mattered.
He pulled back after a moment but still held you close. "I don't know what gave you the impression that you were a burden. If it ever was something I did, I want to apologize."
"I remember so vividly the look on your face when the boys brought me back to the cabin. You had the same disappointed expression as you have just now. I promise I'm trying to heal as fast I can, but this... this is harder than I thought it would be."
Confusion was now the only emotion on his face, clear as day. "Disappointed? Y/n, I never was disappointed. It was the worst, terrifying, shit your pants kind of fear I've ever felt. It's agony to know you're so ridden with fear. I was disappointed to learn that tonight was still hard for you, not because I think you're not healing fast enough, but because I hoped I finally helped you feel better. I feel so bad you have to live with these memories for your whole life. I just wish I could make them disappear."
That's when you understood the slim difference between disappointment and defeat. One was channeled towards you, and the other wasn't. For Jacob, it had always been directed at himself.
"Jacob, you're the only one who makes me breathe a little easier. You're the only reason I slept soundly last night." A new light illuminated his eyes. You steadied yourself before you continued, your tone slightly hushed. "You've always had that specific calming effect on me. You're the only person who makes things better for me. Ever since we were kids. I have always felt safe with you. You're like my personal haven."
It felt like a big thing to say, but you wanted that sadness to leave his face. You wanted his eyes to be filled with light again, and somehow, it felt right to tell him about all this. He spent so much time worrying about everything and everyone. He deserved to know how appreciated he was. He deserved to know what he meant to you.
Emotion thickened the air. So much so that it felt like you couldn't breathe just right. Your hands slid from his cheeks delicately. You placed one at the nape of his neck while the other grabbed the top of his hair. "Jake, I don't think you even understand how much you mean to me."
Time stood still for a moment. Your eyes focused on each other, and the rest of the world ceased to exist.
"Y/n, I-" his eyes held something heavier. He opened his mouth as if he was about to say something before deciding better of it. It almost looked like it cost him to try and get the words out. He gave up in a huff, and whatever was in his gaze, whatever he thought about, vanished. Some part of you wanted to push him, to ask, but tonight had been a rollercoaster enough. You could let it go for now. He pulled you in for another hug before releasing you a little.
"So, now that we've established that you are not a burden." he started softly.
"And that this is in no way your fault," you added with a grin.
He rolled his eyes, "Uhm. Can you tell me what you actually need? I can stay here with you if you want."
You felt a pang of your old fears scratch at your heart, but you let them all go in one breath. "I would very much like that."
You tucked yourselves in bed for the second night in a row. You hesitated to turn off the light, but always so observant, Jacob assured you it didn't bother him to keep it open. You lay side by side in silence. You were focused on becoming familiar with the ordinary and hazardous sounds an old house made at night when Jacob started to whisper.
"I know you think you aren't as fearless as us, but I can assure you everyone in our tribe thinks you are the bravest person they've ever met. Not many people would feel comfortable hanging out with a bunch of new werewolves."
"Brave or totally crazy," you added while making a wicked-looking face. His eyes disappeared in his bright smile, and you wished you could snap a picture of it.
"No, but really, you're the only one who stayed by my side all throughout my phasing process. No matter how dangerous it was for you. If that's not the definition of bravery, I don't know what is." He turned pensive again while his gaze darkened.
You unwillingly recalled the phasing process of Jacob. All the terrible memories flashed before your eyes. His screams of pain still rang in your ears. You remember distinctly every time you wished to take his place. If you could have taken away some of his pain, you would have in an instant. The least you could do was stay by his side no matter what. You had to fight with Billy and the rest of the pack, but in the end, even they couldn't keep you away. No one could have.
You slid into his arms, and his body tensed under the new touch before quickly relaxing to envelop you in a tight embrace.
"I would never leave you alone," you mumbled in his chest. "I know you like to have this strong and impressive appearance, but inside, you're still the same little Jacob I've always known. I know you need me."
You lightly pressed your lips onto his chest and nuzzled farther into him. Fireworks were exploding in the boy's chest as he returned the gesture with a kiss on your head.
"And Jake?"
"Uhm?"
"Don't think I didn't notice you wanted to tell me something important earlier. For tonight, it's okay, but we'll have to talk about that."

Jacob Black x autistic reader-the cool down
You and Jacob have been together for about a year now, you never thought anyone as amazing as him would ever like you in the way he did and you felt the same way.
You were at the store with Jacob and rest of the pack when you began to feel very over stimulated, you began to space out trying your hardest to calm down. Then Jacob came over with a candle he found that he thought you would like and taps you just a little to harshly on the shoulder without really thinking about it. You broke down it was like you could not control it.
Once you had calmed down most of the way he picked you up and wrapped your legs around his waist. He caried you to the car and sat in the back row so you would have room to lay down if you wanted to. As soon as you were in the car still wrapped around him you reached for the blanket from the bag they kept for you in the car just for times like these. It was packed with everything you may need (blankets, snacks, stim toys, chew necklaces, water, chapstick, lotion, band-aids, etc.) He noticed how it was out of your reach so he grabbed the bag along and pulled it closer so you could grab it. You sat in silence for a while, the only sound loud enough to here were your sniffs as you slowly began to drift off in Jacobs warm arms.

“Bella, maybe Jake just wants to be alone- or maybe some guy time.” Y/n suggested it to her slightly older sister. Bella and Y/n were hardly even a year apart in age but that didn’t stop Y/n from occasionally getting treated like a baby compared to Bella.
Y/n knew Jake and Bella had been spending a lot of time together recently and it seemed to be good for her sister after the Cullens left. But Jake had become sick or at least that's what he and Billy had been telling Bella. Y/n wanted to just leave it, he’d come back on his own either way. But her sister, no Bella , needed answers now and she wasn't going to wait to get them on Jacobs time.
Bella shook her head with a tight expression on her face. “No, Y/n. Something's up. Somethings wrong I can feel it.”
“Bella, we’ve both known Jake practically our whole lives maybe he’s just-” Y/n shook her head lifting her hand in q wave motion before dropping it down to her lap. “I don’t know, going through puberty?”
“His dad keeps saying he has mono but it’s been almost 2 weeks and he won’t even answer texts. Let alone calls.” Bella explained further as she pulled into the Black’s driveway.
“Maybe he’s still sick.” Y/n tried one last time as Bella put the car in park.
“Well, we're going to find out.” Bella stated before she got out of the car.
Y/n unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car to chase her sister muttering to herself. “This isn’t gonna go well.”
Bella knocked on the door and shortly after Billy opened the door. Bella had told the man in the wheelchair that she needed to see Jake, but all she got was that he wasn’t there. Next thing Y/n knew her sister had welcomed herself into the home practically going right over Billy.
“Bella.” Billy called after her but it was too late and Bella wasn’t listening anyways.
“I’m sorry, Billy.” Y/n said apologizing for her sister's actions.
Billy let out a sigh and sent a tired smile to the younger Swan. “Don’t worry about it, Y/n.”
It wasn’t even a few minutes later that Bella stormed out of the house and Y/n followed yelling after her. “Bella!”
“Hey!” Bella shouted and shoved one of the shirtless males Y/n somewhat recognized. “What did you do to him?!”
That's all Y/n could really hear from so far back. So she shouted out to her sister again, hoping to defuse the situation if she couldn’t just get her to leave. “Bella!”
“Y/n wha-” Jake spoke out suddenly standing beside the Y/h/c-ed girl.
“She dragged me here with her.” That's all Y/n had to say for Jake to understand what was happening. Charlie got Y/n in the devoirce so Y/n and Jake grew up together their whole lives as siblings in Forks. They could understand what the other was saying with just a look.
Jake nodded before looking back at the scene and then pointed “And that?”
“She slapped that Paul guy.” Y/n told him and that changed his demeanor.
“Crap. Y/n, stay back.” Jake said as he noticed Paul shaking.
Y/n wondered why but then she made eye contact with the Paul guy her sister was taking her anger out on. It was as if time showed for a minute. All the members of the pack put it together, and that's when Jacob flipped and inevitably so did Paul.
Seeing them turn into giant wolves Y/n ran to her sister. “Bella, you okay?” Her attention was drawn back to the wolves fighting not far from everyone. “Woah. Now that's cool.”
“Really, Y/n?” Bella asked, turning her head to face her sister in disbelief at how her sister wasn’t scared.
“What?” Y/n shrugged. In her opinion that was cool. Way cooler than Vampire super speed, the eyes, and sparkling under the sunlight someone dumped a 1,000 pounds of glitter on you. The Paul guy and Jake turned into Wolves! And not just wolves, Giant wolves. That's impressive.
“What just happened?” Bella asked Sam Uley she believed his name was. All the while Y/n was confused as to the looks she was getting from the others, a few she had grown up with just like Jake.
“Paul imprinted.” Sam stated looking at Bella. Then Jacob came out of the woods still looking pissed off.
“On Y/n.” Jake grumbled, clearly pissed off at the new found fact.
“Take her back to Emily’s. Bella too.” Sam told Jacob which resulted in a very loud scoff from the younger male. “That's an order Jacob. Embry go with them.”
“Hey, Em.” Y/n nodded to Embry. They have been friends for years. It brought comfort to Y/n, knowing someone else. Someone that wasn’t pissed that would be in the car with her, her sister, and Jake.
“Hey, Y/n/n.” Embry smiled. He had missed seeing her around since he phased.
“Why is Jake so pissed?” Y/n asked Embry hoping he could fill her in on what's going on exactly.
Embry sighed before explaining. “Him and Paul don’t get along, and he’s protective of you. As he should be, you're like brother and sister.”
“Why would he be protective over me when it comes to Paul? I’ve never met Paul before.” Y/n squinted with a furrowed expression as she questioned Embry confused.
“Paul should be the one to explain it to you. It’s not my place, or anyone else's in the pack.” Embry felt bad for Y/n. She had no idea what was going on and it very much involved her. But like he said it wasn’t his place to explain any of this to her.
Y/n nodded in understanding, kind of. But maybe he could explain something else to her. “Can you explain the pack part to me then?”
Embry nodded with a smile stretching across his lips. “Yes, I can do that.”
It wasn’t a long drive but long enough for Embry to explain about the pack to Y/n.
“Who’s place is this again?” Y/n heard Bella ask and she listened for Jake’s answer.
“Emily and Sam’s.” Jake answered as he got out of the truck.
Jake and Embry helped Y/n off of the truck bed. With a quiet thank you from Y/n they all headed inside. The only ones that weren’t there was Sam and Paul. But it didn’t take long for them to join in on the group.
“Can I talk to you? Outside. Alone.” Paul asked nervously looking softly at Y/n, to let her know she could reject his request if she wanted to. Y/n nodded ‘yes’ getting up to follow him.
“Over my dead body.” Jake growled, glaring with his eyes set on burning holes into Paul.
“Jake.” Sam said his name firmly. Making Jake stand down. For now.
“Come on.” Paul nodded his head towards outside Y/n nodded as well and followed him outside the small nice home.
They walked into the woods for awhile, Y/n assumed long enough to be far away enough so the rest of the pack couldn’t hear their conversation. “So, I assume that they explained the whole pack thing to you?”
“Embry did, yeah. But not the imprint part?” Y/n spoke with a unsure tone, hoping she got the word right. Paul nodded with a twitch of his lips. “Not the imprint part. What is that by the way?”
“Guess I should explain that part then.” Paul smiled, hearing her just say the word of what she is to him. That made him feel warm on the inside, which was a new feeling for him. He did like it though.
“Embry said it was only your place to tell me what it is.” Y/n looked to the still shirtless male with curiosity. What did it mean? What did it have to do with her? And why did Paul have to be the one to explain it?
“I have a spot I’d like to take you, and I’ll explain on the way.” Paul suggested there was a place he wanted to show her that only he knew about. Great view that he never that he never showed anyone.
“Ok” Y/n knew she was being way trusting with this stranger. But he felt trustworthy. She didn’t know why but he does.
Paul stopped them for a second in their tracks. He really needed to know something and it was bothering him that he didn’t. “I do have a question before we get too far that I should know that I do not.”
Y/n let out an amused breath before asking. “And what's that?”
“Your name.” Paul smirked
Y/n nodded with a smile. “Y/n. Y/n Swan.”
“Well, Y/n Swan. It’s nice to finally meet you.” Paul’s smirk fell into a smile. He always teased the others who already had their imprints about how whipped they were, but now he was starting to understand.

Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Part 9)
Jacob Black x Vampire!Swan Reader
This has been in my drafts for over 2 years 😂Proceed with caution, steamy make out session and some blood drinking.
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
It has been ten minutes…maybe more since Y/N was taken into the Cullen’s meeting room. It’s been radio silence, since Bella and Edward came back from their honeymoon. When Y/N does emerge, Jacob knows immediately, something is very wrong.
“Jacob,” she reaches a hand toward him. “Come with me?”
Jake moves to stand, twining their fingers and allowing the vampire to lead him out the front door, down to his bike. He leans against it, expectantly. “You gonna tell me what the hell’s going on?”
“Bella’s pregnant.”
“With what exactly?” Jacob grimaces.
“Carlisle isn’t sure, they’re…we’re trying to figure it out.”
“So make them take it out of her, he’s a doctor.”
“Jake,” Y/N shakes her head, “she doesn’t want it out.”
“What?”
“It’s her choice and I won’t take it from her.” She knows what it feels like.
“This is different.” This is fucked.
“She thinks Carlisle can turn her at the last minute.” Y/N fidgets with his fingers as she speaks.
“Can he?” The wolf clears his throat.
“It’s possible.”
“But not probable.”
“Baby,” Y/N frowns, “I don’t want to fight. I need you to help me, help her.”
Jacob sighs, “what can I do?”
————————————————————————
Charlie is not so easily swayed, he knows Y/N knows something. He watches his eldest daughter intently at breakfast.
Bella is sick with some kind of bug, currently recovering at a luxury facility in Sweden. Or so the story goes.
The sheriff eyes his oldest daughter over the morning paper.
Y/N catches him, meeting his eye with an awkward smile as she forces a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.
“When did we start lying to each other, kid?” Charlie asks.
“When it became necessary to keep you safe. I think it’s the same on your end.”
Charlie is taken aback by this. It’s the most honest answer he’s got from her in months. “If you’re in some kind of trouble, or Bella is-”
“It’s not the kind of trouble you can help me with.”
“Wish you’d at least talk to me about it.”
“I wish I could, Dad.” Y/N admits.
“But you can’t. For the sake of my safety?” He knows this game.
“All of ours.”
Charlie sighs. “Do you know anything else about Bella? How she’s doing?”
“I know she’s alright.” For now. “That’s all I know.”
————————————————————————
Days pass in a blur, Bella withering away as her belly grows.
“How’s dad?” She asks Y/N, curling both legs up under her, on the couch.
Y/N tosses her a blanket. “He’s alright. He misses you though.” She can’t imagine what he’ll be like when they actually…leave.
Bella nods. “How are you?”
“I’m ok.” Y/N lifts a shoulder. She has to be. “The baby could be here anytime now, I need to hunt so I’ll be gone for the day.”
“That’s fine.” Bella’s teeth chatter, she is so cold.
“I’ll leave Jacob with you, he can be your personal hot box.”
“N-no.” Bella forces out, “you don’t have to.”
“I’m not letting you suffer anymore than you already are, Bella.” Y/N mutters, bitterly.
Jacob is leaning against the doorframe, with his arms crossed, waiting for his queue.
Y/N makes her way over to him, feeling his arms encircle her waist, crushing her to him. She nuzzles into the crook of his neck. “Will you stay with her?”
“Yeah,” his words are lost in her hair.
She presses a kiss to his jugular.
“I would let you.” Jacob whispers, “if you want to try, so you don’t have to leave her like this.”
Y/N pulls back, searching his eyes. “No, Jake.” It’s come up before. Bite me.
“I’m not affected by your venom unless I’m already injured.”
“No.”
“It’s no different than you drinking from an animal. I heal fast, it won’t be an issue.”
Y/N opens her mouth to protest.
“I can feel you,” Jacob reminds her. “There’s nothing to feel bad or guilty about. I want you to.”
“Are you sure?” Y/N doesn’t want to further complicate their relationship.
He nods, “come on.” They find an unoccupied room in the Cullen’s home. Jacob flops down on their cream colored sofa, patting his lap.
Y/N eyes him, warily. Climbing to sit over top his thighs, facing him.
Jacob brushes Y/N’s hair over her shoulders and out of the way. Kissing her lips, her forehead, her nose, “bite me.”
She finds a spot on the side of his neck, peppering his beautiful skin with her kisses, breaking it with her teeth.
Jacob groans, turning his head to give her better access.
Y/N whimpers as his blood fills her mouth, trickling down to ease the burning in her throat.
“You’re ok.” He swallows and she feels it against her tongue. “I love you.”
Fuck. Y/N rolls her hips against his. “I love you.”
“I know,” he guides her back to the opening on his neck. His heart beats faster at the pull of her sucking swallows, he hopes she never stops. Jacob sighs contently as she takes her fill of him on the Cullen’s sitting room couch.
Her lips are on his, the moment she’s finished. His bitter blood in her mouth, it’s not as good as the animals she’s accustomed to feeding from. The only thing making the taste bearable is the knowledge that it’s his. Jacob’s blood fueling her, filling her. Belonging to him so wholly.
Jacob tastes the blood and kisses her anyway. The wound on his neck has already begun to heal, he pulls her closer. He never wants her to drink from anything but him again.
Perhaps it’s the imprint, or the reincarnation, maybe it’s just love. Whatever the culprit may be, they are in it now, too deep to ever surface.
Only one thing could steal them from revelry now. The sound of Bella’s tortured screams. The baby is coming.
