HEHE THE HYPERFIXATION CONTINUES this took my several hours bc i draw so slowly and dont realize it so that was great but i really like them ^^

Raph is a great white just bc I thought it fit, Mike is a leopard shark bc of spots and bc little, Leo is a pelagic thresher bc he’s a speedy boy, and Donnie is a shortfin mako bc they’re very smart!

I was trying to find an equivalent to sharks for Donnie and his soft shell but i couldn’t think of a species specific thing so I’ve decided that when they were rescued my Lou, he got burn damage to his snout where his sensing organs are and since sharks rely on that organ a lot due to they’re poor eyesight, he can struggle in seeing things. Technically they all have awful eyesight but the others can sense the electro magnetic fields and whatever so they’re good. Hence Don needs glasses and just still struggles beyond that.

Ummmmm yeah so they all have tails and dorsal fins and little fins on their tails. They each have sets of gills on their necks and rib area while also having lungs. They can breathe underwater then, they just have to keep their mouths closed. I also think their lair situation would be the same with more pools for them since they do like water but their human characteristics don’t make them dependent. Maybe just water lovers and avid moisturizers.

Ninja sharks

1) Did Draxum mutate sharks because he liked their "killer instincts"

2) is splinter covered in bite scars from raising baby sharks?

3) since they are more aquatic in nature they probably risk drying out, did a worried new parent splinter keep them in water all the time?

4) is splinter still a rat? Or is he a different animal?

1) Um yes of course ^^ I think he saw something from shark week and was just like enamored with their, as you stated, killer instincts and just snatched some sharkies (I think it would be really funny if he kept them and they were just them)

2) oh yeah and they don’t go away bc the boys remain bitey just bc bitey but they are much less aggressive with it and Splints has gotten kinda used to it, sort of like affectionate biting

3) yesssssss yes he did, while it probably wasn’t completely necessary the extent he went to, the babies didn’t mind and had a bunch of fun with it. They did it less and less as they got bigger bc they didn’t need it as much as when they were little, but they definitely have swim days very often.

4) technically there wouldn’t really be a reason for him to be a different animal… but I think that would make it more fun so now he’s a toad!

First part

That was it. This turtle would not disrespect Big Mama. Frida lunged at him with nothing but rage.

Frida attacked him, tackling him to the ground. He quickly countered with robotic arms that came from his shell and grabbed for Frida. She batted them away while trying to keep this turtle down. He yelled something, but she couldn’t hear him. She couldn’t hear anything except his words over and over.

“…maybe she just dropped the kid like she dropped Papá.”

Frida just got here, she’s not sure what’s going on, but someone just came by I told her she needed cabin attire. She found out she was Cabin 13 and oh look! A shirt in the gift shop with her cabin on it! Perfect ^^ she doesn’t have money tho… welp I guess the only option is crime.

This may not be at all accurate to the camp situation so sorry @tmnt-fandom-family-reunion but it was fun >:]

(My only camp experience was one random church camp and the Percy Jackson series hahaha is pjo an accurate camp representation??)

Spider’s Web Widens: Frida Reference Sheet

This is long overdue but finally I have a reference sheet for my girl ^^ I went through some indecision with markings and such but this is what I plan on using for the comic (and if it changes I’ll keep you updated)

It’s been a hot second since of actually done traditional art and I’ve never really used markers before so all in all this was interesting hahaha definitely some parts we do not need to look at for too long but it was pretty fun ^^

I need to find out about these tmnt anniversaries before the day of so i can actually prep something… next time tho

The New (and improved) Camille Reference!!!

Cami is a Galapagos Tortoise with albinism, which would put her as being much bigger than Raph buuuut she was a bit of a sickly child and experienced a major lack of nutrients bc of stuff so she’s currently about Mikey height!

Shoutout to @plumsodapop for giving her wonderful insight on this design, you da best (More yaps under the cut)

Spider’s Web Widens Masterpost

Anything I may have said before about Cami could be completely different now… she really went through it… But EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE on the one hand I didn’t think I’d get this done so fast but on the other I’m having a bunch of ideas and the inability to have unfinished wips so I should’ve expected this. I actually really like how she turned and while I will miss old Cami design (rip forever) and definitely prefer the new one, for now at least.

I’ve never read the idw comics but her look was inspired somewhat by Lita from that. I’d figured out I wanted her color to be pink so I figured I’d incorporate that more in her design.

Also I just scripted the animatic that is gonna introduce her part of the story and OOOOOOH BOY am I excited ^^ I’m a huge fan of Draxum as a parent so you may be able to deduce how that’s gonna start nyehehe and you know feel free to ask me any questions bc as you can see I’m feeling chatty and would love to talk about girly or anything else tbh
