Did chibi style colour spectrum of my worlds race of shjua d’em to show all the colours they come in, and some of them are recurring characters too. It is also a good example of the clothing they wear in Venitareea where the beings are found. I am a fan of recycling stock characters, I mean I have so many, I have a character for every plausible narrative situation i conjure by now one would think...

What Makes ‘Whatsup Lagna’ A Movie To Watch?

With hit flick ‘Coffee Aani Barach Kahi’ and action drama ‘Mr. And Mrs Sadachari’, the Marathi actors’ Vaibhav Tatwawadi and Prarthana Behere’s sizzling onscreen chemistry has become a favourite among fans. Vaibhav Tatwawadi has acted in notable Hindi movies such as Hunterrr, Bajirao Mastani, Lipstick under my Burkha and Marathi movies such as Surajya, Coffee ani Barach Kahi, Mr and Mrs Sadachari and Shortcut. Prarthana Behere, on the other hand, is best known for her role in the serial Pavitra Rishta and movie roles in Hindi movies such as Bodyguard and Marathi movies such as Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Jai Maharashtra Dhaba Bhatinda, Biker’s Adda and Mr and Mrs Sadachari.

The duo is expected to appear with a new urban romcom “What’s up Lagna” in the Valentine month of the coming 2018. Debut director Vishwas Joshi is also presenting the film along with Nanubhai Jaysinghani.

The film is being produced by Jaiee Joshi under the banner Fincraft Media and Video Palace. This musical love story revolves around the romance of a well-settled young IT professional, Akash (29) who leads a dynamic corporate executive life and Ananya (26) an actress who leads an imperfect but sophisticated life. They happen to meet-up accidentally one fine day, go on dates later on and fall for each other. The love story moves through unique circumstances in and around Mumbai, Nasik and Pune. Both Akash and Ananya come from absolutely different family backgrounds but manage to get hitched in a moderate but an urbane function. Post-marriage, they settle down, and eventually their personal, as well as professional lives, take a positive turn, and they start enjoying their flourishing lives. The movie wonderfully and quite realistically represents the urban life of most modern couples these days.

The movie is sure to be fun among Marathi movie fans because of almost everything in it, Right from the classy backdrops, the chic lives of the protagonists, their intense chemistry and not to mention the great actors representing their families are bound to be a movie to watch in the upcoming year. The families are played by amazing actors like Vikram Gokhale, Vidyadhar Joshi, Ila Bhate, Sneha Raikar and Vandana Gupte along with Sunil Barve in a special role and child actor Chirag Patil, Anand Ingle, Swapnil Joshi, Savita Malpekar and Jaywant Wadkar in guest appearances.

“What’s up Lagna” has already released the music with the first romantic song “Tu Jarashi Ye Urashi….” which is making the crowd hum to the tunes composed by Nilesh Moharir and written by lyricist Ashwini Shende. The movie is slated to be released on 9th February 2018 whose release date was announced way back in November on the auspicious day of Dussehra.
