yes anon i absolutely did!! i'm surprised you remember honestly cause i think i only mentioned it like once? but it's a very very fun one to think about so i'm happy to share some headcanons!

so this is an au based on the nickelodeon show victorious. i've actually been thinking of making it a smau - i've never done that before, but i found a template for those slap update thingies, and it'd be fun to try something new... who knows, we'll see. if not that, it'll be a oneshot series, just small bits to work on between other projects i think. it'll exist in some sort of shape at some point lol. okay now headcanons:

in this universe, the molinas just moved in with ray and rose's longtime partner, trevor, and his kids carrie and bobby. both carrie and bobby attend a fancy artsy school

julie, carlos, carrie, and bobby definitely have nights when the adults are on a date and it's just the four of them at home. sometimes they have friends over, but at least once a month they put on a movie, order takeout, and have a sibling night. it always starts out tame but ends with them, like, sliding down the stairs on mattresses or someone getting a new piercing or something. one time, they adopted a cat

they did text and ask for permission. trevor gave it but didn't think they were being serious. the adults were in for a big surprise when they came home

sunset curve do jam together whenever they can, but they're primarily solo artists. luke writes the songs they do together and a bunch of solo stuff, bobby focuses on the recording side of music, reggie does country stuff, and alex does everything from dance to stage crew to musical numbers. also drums, of course

just. the great ping pong scam, but sunset curve. that's all.

willie attends a regular high school for most of their life. his dad works at hollywood arts, so he's reluctant to attend because he doesn't want to be accused of favouritism. he actually befriends julie at that school before she transfers, and they end up transferring after a couple of months as well

luke absolutely has some sort of musical instrument locker situation. reggie would do the clear locker, because he doesn't have anything to hide, and willie changes his every couple of weeks to keep things exciting. carrie covers hers in glitter. there's a disco ball inside

carlos meets all of his siblings' friends in the most ridiculous situations. like, he's introduced to alex and reggie when reggie accidentally used real glue for alex's creepy makeup, and walks in on the two of them trying to rip a very convincing frankenstein's monster-mask from alex's face, and he meets luke when luke is taking a challenge and is singing everything he wants to say, but, like, musical style to make it a true challenge

yes, carlos did shut the door on luke when that happened. nobody blames him for it, not even luke

very sweet very cute smau where Ed is a shark conservationist!! it's got it all (transmasc Ed, autistic Stede, blåhaj) I devoured the whole thing in one sitting because it's just so sweet and also I fucking love sharks 🦈 and the author is also SO clearly passionate about sharks and conservation as well, it's lovely to read because the enthusiasm does shine through!

3. a fic that made you laugh out loud

ohhhhh the latest chapter of one more troubled soul by nervous_jester had this exchange that made me giggle:

“Sorry,” Stede says as his laughter bubbles away, “I suppose I’ll just sit here like a bloody sandwich for a bit.”

Ed snorts, half-heartedly rolls his eyes. He wants to say something smart back, something like ‘I’ve never wanted to kiss a sandwich before, I guess there’s a first time for everything’ 

also this is truly a wonderful post-canon fic, I love the way jams writes the characters (Fang is my favorite, he's so sweet and kind in this, also the Ed in here is so, so good), they're all so perfectly balanced with the comedy and the serious emotions and the general vibe of silliness that they all possess! it is such a lovely fic and the characterizations are just so spot on

oh you KNOW it has to be a love that won't sit still by gangnamstiles....

this series is the type of thing I wish existed as a physical book so I could highlight and underline and annotate the absolute crap out of it (as it stands I simply am confined to leaving ridiculously copious and lengthy comments, sorry adrian). when I came across it for the first time I was like ".... mafia au?? I guess I'll check it out" and then my brain chemistry was permanently altered by those silly little guys and the way all of adrian's writing is permeated by their whole vibe of hope and healing and resilience and love. scratches that little "hurt/comfort 100k+ words I want to cry and then have a bandaid placed gently on my heart" itch. very special to me, it's in the little list of fics that I go back to and reread frequently

Band AU Genshin Impact

Lead vocals/lead guitar: Childe. Like it just makes so much sense to me, especially with how he is and the charisma he holds. And I bet he has a beautiful voice and he ALSO helps with songwriting. I’m gonna get more into the songwriting thing but lemme get this out aaahhh

Backup vocals/rhythmic guitar: Kaeya Alberich. Now I know many people see him as a bass player but he’s not. HEAR ME OUT he has the looks, the charm, the talent, but he’s good at getting what he wants out of the band so he’s good support! Which is why he’s part of the songwriting duo Kaeyajax that write for the band and some other people they’re friends with. their producer really does enjoy working with them but at times wishes he was out there

Bass guitar/backup vocals: Diluc Ravingdir. He just EMITS bass player energy. Low key, good at what he does, sexy, always on time, and keeps everyone together. Sometimes he helps with the lyrics when their songwriters get stuck but that’s it. He wasn’t going to join but despite appearing to hate his brother, he wanted to look out for him and do something with him. How sweet. But don’t cross him or the drummer

Drums: Dehya. Listen. LISTEN. she SCREAMS drummer energy. She’s realizable, steady, goes with the flow, and can keep the band together. She has the experience being a studio drummer but when the band needed a replacement, their manager knew exactly who to call. She helps level the testosterone in the group and can provide good insight into who to hire, who to collab with, where to play etc.

Manager: Zhongli. He LITERALLY was meant to do this role. He’d always been fascinated by music and the world and culture of it. But he also knows how some members can be. And he wants the band to do as well as they possibly can while being treated well too. And he can make sure of that. With his experience in many fields, he can also provide advice and oversight. He suggested Dehya after Itto had some issues with getting in trouble and creating a bad image for the band. Itto totally understood and went home to help his family and friends while giving some lessons to local kids! He also maybe Childs’s babysitter

Producer: Xiao. He is a lover of music and everything about it. It’s his escape, he knows how to play quite a few instruments thanks to one of his close friends, but he never wanted to be in the spotlight. He preferred to help from the outside, despite how much he longed to be front and center with adoring fans. His fear and anxiety of being close to people takes over and he’s resigned to helping others achieve the dreams he wants. He’s one of the best in the business and he’s released some of his work under a fake name and gives insight to Kaeyajax for songwriting. He’s also sat in on some of their jam sessions but begs them not to record it. Even Zhongli thinks he’d be an incredible solo artist, and lets xiao know he’s not alone if he ever decides to pursue his music performance career

Producer/songwriter/collaborator: Venti. Usually known by his stage name Barbatos, Venti is a close friend of the band and does everything he can to help. Although he has a career of his own, he always finds time to help out his friends with whatever they need. He’s always the first one the band thinks of for a collaboration whether for producing, recording, or sharing a show. He’s also best friends with Xiao and wishes he would start his own musical career. He’s been on a few of his tracks as backup vocals and some instruments. He knows the best after parties and always has the best and silly ideas and hangouts

"have you bought groceries?" jay asks. both you and heeseung pointed to bags on the counter before continuing slurping on ramyeon. jay inspects them. he takes note of what to buy later on.

"i'll go pick up the kids now. enjoy your time." jay says. both you and heeseung hummed.

"why does he look like an uncle." you asked heeseung.

"he purposely dressed like this because he wants to take photos to fool married women."

"are you being for real?"

"the first part is the truth, i'm kidding about the second part. that's just how jay dresses up during holidays. he's dressed like a dad because he starts acting like one during trips like this." heeseung explains.
