Please i just failed a test for uni can you write how Frank would help 🥺🥺

hey hun, my god im so sorry, or course i can write that! Frank used to be my saving grace all throughout uni so, I understand.

He'd try to feel out the situation at first, try to figure out how you’re feeling before he does anything.

“Want me to ask how it went?”

He’d ask and you’d shake your head, not really feeling like trying to talk about the whole thing right now and he’d understand that. He’d never push you or make you talk about things when you didn’t feel like it when you wanted to just get your mind off of them.

“Right, cmere”

He’d mumble quietly, getting up from the couch and crossing the room in three big steps before wrapping his arms around you tightly. You do the same, some of the tention of your body releasing into the gesture the moment you feel him against you.

He’d hold you close, cradling the back of your head in his big hand before pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead.

“You tried your best, sweetheart.”

He’d whisper, tilting your chin up to make sure your eyes are on his and that you’re actually listening to his words because he means them.

“Can't do shit about it now, can we? I mean, if we can, you tell me yeah? want me to go punch someone?”

Maybe you’d laugh or at least smile at the question, the way he does his best to make you feel better in his own Frank Catsle way. Once he noticed your smile his body relaxes slightly.

“There she is look at that.”

He teases a bit and you roll your eyes at him, unable to fight back the smile.

“Attagirl that’s it, such a pretty smile.”

Maybe you shove his chest softly, you’re attempt to get back at him.

“Frank come on, stop.”

And he just shrugs, giving you a confused look.

“No idea what you’re talking about sweetheart, but if you want to stop me, ‘d love to see you try”

I just feel like he’d do his best to try and distract you from your thoughts because he knows and understands how bad those can get. So he’d keep you busy, try talking to you about anything he can really, and then in a classic Frank Castle way he’d offer to do things. Go out and grab your favorite comfort food? He’d do it. Drive you around because you just want to leave the house? Get in, he’s already in the car. Lay with you if you choose to nap the situation away? Hed hold close until you wake up. Watch a comfort show with you? He’d have to sit in his lap with his arms around your body, his lips brushing your shoulder from time to time, just his way of making sure he can keep you grounded, that you know he’s there.

It's Daylight Saving Time again in the US! (It's coming for the rest of you soon enough.) Yes, it's that time of year when we lose an hour and all get cranky and have more heart attacks and car accidents. I wonder if we could Tulpa DST away, somehow? Like, if we all just thought about it hard enough all at the same time.... Of course, arranging the "at the same time" part of that would be a nightmare because of, you know, DST and time zones and such.

MICHELLE! I NEED TO KNOW, THERE'S NO TIME, THIS IS MISSION IMPOSSIBLE AND THE CLOCK IS RUNNING OUT, YOU MUST ANSWER: What's one thing tarlos has tried once in the bedroom and then never ever spoke of again? (after after care of course lol)

"Uhm so..."

"Yeah," TK says, blinking up at the ceiling. "I didn't know..."

"I thought you might..did you like that?"

TK shifts so he can look at Carlos even if it's the last thing he wants to do with a face growing hotter than it has in any burning building. His mouth opens to reassure his boyfriend that it was perfectly okay to do this. Their sheets are sticky with guacamole and salsa and lime and they even tried a corn tortilla but it was...not at all like the one time they used chocolate sauce. And maybe chocolate sauce is also off the table after what...that was. Places on Tk's body burn in a way that grows increasingly more uncomfortable.

"Shower?" he asks instead and Carlos nods and nods at the ceiling, and brushes off chip crumbs and tomatoes. "Shower."

Sorry Shannon I went through a list of kinks that I was either like: "yeah I mean they might try and at least talk about it" to "NEVER they wouldn't" to land on "let's just write crack". Didn't go for the balloon kink and just thought yeaah they'd escalate with food to the point where maybe chilies shouldn't be involved.

Well, a quick look at my Dean x reader x Sam tag brings up some promising fics! I'll list a couple here, and you can peruse the rest at your leisure. (Why are so many of these A/B?O)

Tattered by @stusbunker - A/B/O, kinda canon-compliant, FULL OF ANGST but with a happy ending!

Her Saviors by @bamby0304 - A/B/O, canon-compliant, FULL OF ANGST, and still in process. Kind of a series rewrite fic.

The Best Laid Plans by @crashdevlin - I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for. A/B/O, kinda canon-compliant, OMG SO MUCH ANGST, and also includes a de-aged John! In this one, Dean and Sam don't share the reader like in the others, and there are a lot of triggering scenes (dubcon and noncon) involving our main characters. This one isn't listed under my Dean x Reader x Sam tag since they never share her.

Looking at my own masterlist because I love having both brothers and not having to choose:

Cracker Jack Prize - My first-ever piece of fiction. I gave her a name, but she's really just a reader insert. So Mary Sue. Everyone loves her. She's got powers. It's formatted stupidly on AO3. Someday I might try and fix that.

Third Wheel - I challenged myself to write the smuttiest smut I could write and this was what happened. Reader grew up with the Campbells, starts off with Soulless Sam, adds Dean later, there's some angst when Sam gets his soul back, but there's a happy ending. Cuz I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

I'd Be Better - I saw a gifset and it gave me angsty feels.

Leave Unsaid Unspoken - This has Jo instead of a reader character, but HOLY ANGST, BATMAN. Trigger warning in tags.

Living with Julie Molina is both the best and worst thing that ever happened to Luke.

On one hand, Julie is an excellent roommate. She’s tidy and doesn’t leave stuff lying around. She knows how to cook and doesn’t tend to burn stuff and cause the fire alarm to go off at all times, unlike Luke’s previous roommate. She barely has guests over, and when she does, she always lets Luke know beforehand. Luke does his best to mimic her behaviour, and as a result, they’re both pretty content with their arrangement after a few months. Julie is the perfect roommate, really.

On the other hand, Luke is also completely, entirely, hopelessly in love with Julie, and, well. It complicates things.

These past few months, Luke has been alternating between gratitude for his perfect roommate and despair because of his perfect roommate who surely could never like him back. The perfect girl, so close yet so far away. 

But then, things changed. At least, Luke thinks they did.

Julie started staying in more often. She’d watch movies with Luke, slowly but surely moving closer throughout the night. She’d include him in her meal prep whenever she made a dish he’d complimented, and when he got out of the shower and walked around without a shirt on, her eyes would linger.

Luke himself hadn’t wanted to presume. He didn’t want to misunderstand her, confess his feelings, and find himself living on his best friend’s couch for the unforeseeable future, because finding a decent place to live on a limited budget sucked. His friends, however, seem to agree with him. Seem to think that maybe Julie likes him back. 

So, one day, after countless hours of encouragement from his friends and a pep talk he gives himself in the mirror, Luke decides to bite the bullet and go for it. He’s going to tell Julie he likes her and ask her out.

“Hey, Julie? Can we talk?” 

Luke approaches Julie when she’s in the living room. She turns around at the sound of his voice and Luke’s breath catches in his throat.

She’s wearing a short, swishy dress with flowers on it, a small bag hanging off her shoulder. Her hair, curls bouncy and shiny in a way that Luke knows takes a ton of time and effort, is pinned into a half-updo, showing off her cheekbones and dangly earrings. Her lips are painted a soft nude and her eyelashes look impossibly long.

She’s gorgeous.

She’s also very clearly going out with someone.

“Oh, hey,” she says, hand sliding up to hoist her bag further up her shoulder. “What’s up?”

“Not much,” Luke says. His brain is scrambled, torn between the impulse to scream out how beautiful Julie looks and the urge to curl up into a ball and cry. “Uh, are you going out?”

Julie nods. 

“I have a date,” she says, fiddling with her fingers. It’s one of her nervous tells. She must be really excited. “I have a couple minutes before I need to leave, though. You said you wanted to talk?” 

Luke shakes his head. There’s no way he’s doing it now, now that he has pretty clear confirmation that she doesn’t feel the same way before he’s even said a word. He’ll just make up an excuse about household chores or something later, when he no longer feels like sinking through the ground.

“Yeah…it can wait, though. Enjoy your date.”

Julie frowns. She steps closer to him, tilting her head and brushing a few curls back. 

“Hey, no, tell me now,” she pushes. “It looks like it’s important.”

“It’s fine,” Luke bites out. His face feels like it’s on fire. “It’s no big deal.”

“It looks like it’s a big deal,” Julie counters. “Why won’t you tell me?”

“Because I’m not going to tell you I’m in love with you right before you leave to go on a date with someone else!”

Horrified, Luke slaps his hands over his mouth. The words had just flown out, beyond his control. Oh god, he’s ruined everything now. 

Julie stares at him.

“What?” She finally brings out, voice like a squeak.

Luke sighs. He rubs his hands over his face, then  tilts his head back and addresses the ceiling. There’s no going back now, but that doesn’t mean he has to look her in the eye for the rest of it. He can’t handle that embarrassment.

“I said I’m in love with you,” he repeats. “You’re amazing, and I- I think I love you, even though we haven’t known each other for that long. I thought you might like me back, but I’m wrong about that, I guess. Since you’re going on a date with someone else.” 

Julie giggles.

“You mean the blind date Flynn set me up with in an attempt to get me to get over you?”

Luke lowers his eyes. Julie is still in front of him, but she doesn’t look embarrassed or upset. No, she looks happy, cheeks flushed and eyes sparkling.

“What?” It’s Luke’s turn to be confused.

Julie takes another step closer. She’s close enough to touch, now.

“Luke, I’ve been crushing on you since the day you moved in,” she says. “I only agreed to go on this date because Flynn convinced me it could help me get over you. But now that I know that’s not necessary, I think I’ll cancel. Maybe go out with someone else instead?”

She bites her lip. Luke impulsively reaches out and uses his thumb to tug it free. Her breath stutters.

“We could go to that diner down the street?” He suggests. “Get a slice of pie and a milkshake to share.”

Julie’s smile widens.

“You remember that?”

Luke grins. Of course he remembers the time she’d told him how romantic she thinks dates like that are, when people get a massive milkshake and drink it with two straws. It’s like something straight out of a movie, something she’s always wanted to try. And, well. Luke likes milkshakes too. He’s happy to indulge her.

“Of course I remember,” he says. He slides his hand, which was still cradling her cheek, down till he can tangle his fingers with hers. “I remember everything you’ve told me.”

Julie quirks an eyebrow at him. “Well, milkshakes and pie sounds great. But how about after that, we come back here and watch a movie, just the two of us?”

Luke is smiling so widely his cheeks hurt. His idea of the perfect date has always been simple, just spending a quiet night with the person he loves. He doesn’t even remember telling Julie that, but apparently, he has. And she’s remembered. 

“Sounds like a perfect date to me.”

When Julie leans forward to press a soft, lingering kiss to his lips, Luke is pretty sure she feels the same.

Since a few have asked, writing sprints are where we set a timer, for usually 15-20 minutes but that is up to those sprinting, and you just write. You compete to see who can write the most words. They don't have to be polished words, just words on the page/screen. Some of our members use it kind of like ADHD body-doubling, even if there's no one else around to sprint with them! Competitive sprints mean you get to win prizes, too! If you have any questions about sprints, feel free to ask.

Angel Fish Awards - February is almost over, which means the monthly raffle deadline is approaching! Every fic rec you submit is one entry into the drawing, and there is no limit to how many you can submit! Spread some love and win prizes, too!! "Shit...shit, im-im here, you're okay."

Franks's voice sounds weaker than normal, he sounds...scared? You open your mouth to answer him, to reassure him, to let him know you're okay but for some reason, the words don't come out.

You feel your body tense up as a sharp pain in your side follows your attempt to speak. Your breathing shallows and you feel yourself tremble on the cold ground, quickly reaching out to grab Franks's arm.

"Shh shh shh-I-Ill fix it just- I can fix it hey-hey! Don't close them! Eyes on me you got that?"

Why couldn't you just believe him? Why out of all the things Frank Castle has ever told you, this was the one you somehow knew wasn't true. Maybe it was the tone? The doubt you could hear in his voice?

"F-fr-"

You try again but your body stops you once again. You grip Frank's hand tighter as the pain grows, the pounding in your head gets louder and the sky above Franks's head, for some reason, begins to fade, all the sounds around you disappear before the strangely familiar taste fills your mouth.

Blood.

I’m here for a fic that I can’t find it anymore..it was dean x reader where reader came from another universe and cas had to bring her to their own universe cause there was a prophecy about her and dean. Apparently they where soulmates.

And at the end because reader wasn’t from their universe she didn’t have any matching soulmate tattoo but finally it will appear on her wrist.

You know which blog has this? I lost it and I love soulmate fics.

We've reached that time of the year where, no matter if it's winter or summer where you are, you're ready for it to change. Southern folks miss complaining about the cold and northern folks miss complaining about the heat. 🤣 All in all, it sounds like a great time to read a really long fan fic! Angel Fish Awards - The end of the month means the deadline for entries into our monthly drawing. Each nomination you submit is one entry for the raffle to win fabulous prizes! Nominations can be submitted at any time, but the deadline for February's drawing is Thursday, the 29th at midnight EST!

Fishing For Treasures - This weekend is FFT weekend over at the @fanficocean! March's theme is CROSSOVER FICS! A crossover is whenever one story includes elements from more than one fandom. Usually, it's bringing characters from one show/movie/whatever into the world from another show/movie/whatever, but sometimes it's reimagining one story with the characters from another. Check out the Ocean this weekend, and then the Pond in two weeks, to read some awesome crossover stories!

Angel Fish Awards - We said we weren't going to postpone the deadline for nominations this month. We were wrong. The new deadline is tonight at midnight, EST! Click here for the submission form!

Manta Rays and Discord chats - This week, two of our admins will be spending some time in our Discord server just to chat with you! Admin MJ will be there on Thursday and Admin Marie will be there on Friday. Keep an eye out for announcement posts with all the details!

Competitive Writing Sprints - Manta Ray Arthur will be hosting a session of competitive writing sprints on Friday in the Discord server! This is a chance to add some words to your WIP(s) and win fabulous prizes.

SPN Rewatch: Fanfic Edition - Our next chat will be next weekend and we will be discussing the last two episodes of season one: 1.21 Salvation and 1.22 Devil's Trap. Announcement posts will go up later this week with all the details!

Poll - Admin Michelle read a couple of articles this past week about fanbinding fan fiction stories. Click here to read one article from atlasobscura.com about the fanbinding trend. Would you be interested in learning how to do these things? We would go out and find people who do typesetting and/or fanbinding to come and talk to us if that interests enough people. This could be like our livechat events of old, or maybe we could do something through zoom (if, you know, someone teaches us how to zoom). Weekly Pond Newsletter

We are coming up on the most depressing day of the year, January 21st. The holidays are over, there are no (US) work holidays for another three months or so, and the weather is just blech. (It's cold up north and hot down south and only those lucky enough to live somewhere temperate all year round are happy.) How about sending us your fic recs and getting entered into a drawing for amazing prizes? Also, every so often we ask for fic recs in our Discord server in exchange for unique prizes not listed on the usual prize list. Right now, you could win a Gotham Knights Season One Court of Owls coin from Stands just for dropping links to GK/SPN crossover fics, or AU fics where Cas is a lawyer. It's so easy! The deadline is 4pm Sunday Eastern US/Canada time!
